5 Singers Who Have Performed Globally And Taken Indian Culture To The World Stage

by jummy84 November 16, 2025
written by jummy84

As Indian music continues to resonate across continents, a new wave of singers is redefining how the world experiences our culture. They’re blending folk with pop, classical with R&B, Punjabi soul with global beats — proving that Indian music isn’t just a genre, it’s a feeling. These performers are not only touring international arenas but also sparking conversations of identity, heritage, and artistic pride. Here are five artists who are taking Indian music to global stages, loudly, proudly, and unapologetically.

5 Singers Who Have Performed Globally And Taken Indian Culture To The World Stage

Diljit Dosanjh – The Global Punjabi Phenomenon

Diljit Dosanjh has become nothing short of a cultural force. From selling out stadiums worldwide to becoming the first Punjabi artist to perform at Coachella, he has taken Punjabi music to audiences far beyond India’s borders. His live performances are celebrations of language, roots, and cultural pride, reminding the world that Punjabi music has both emotional depth and undeniable swagger, as heard in “Born To Shine,” which blends Punjabi folk character with contemporary pop attitude.

Sid Sriram – The Soul Of South Indian Pop

With a voice that melts Carnatic tradition into contemporary soul, Sid Sriram is a bridge between worlds. Raised in the U.S. but deeply connected to his South Indian heritage, his global tours and collaborations showcase how seamlessly Indian classical elements can sit beside R&B, indie, and electronic sounds. Sid is not just performing music; he’s carrying memory, language, and emotion into every performance, connecting listeners across cultures, a quality beautifully evident in “Srivalli,” where his folk-rooted phrasing meets modern melodic sensibility.

Lekka – A Pop Voice Rising Across Borders

Lekka has rapidly emerged as one of Indian pop’s most dynamic voices. With a sleek sonic identity that blends global pop energy with a distinctly Indian confidence, she’s redefining what it means to be a homegrown international artist. Her singles “Kingpin,” “Kaabil-E-Tareef,” and “YOLO,” along with her 2025 debut EP ‘One in a Billion’ featuring tracks like “Haseena,” “Wet Dream,” and “Light Another One,” showcase her fearless experimentation and performance-forward aesthetic. Representing a new generation of Indian artists unafraid to sound global yet rooted in their cultural rhythm. With her seamless blend of Indian essence and global pop appeal, she continues to redefine what it means to be an Indian artist on the world stage.

Hanumankind – The Indie Artist Reimagining Indian Musical Identity

Hanumankind represents a new wave of indie experimentation rooted in Indian storytelling. His music, modern, conceptual, and atmospheric, blends Indian cultural references with global production practices. Performing on international stages and streaming across borders, he’s proving that Indian artists don’t have to fit into Bollywood or folk stereotypes to be authentically Indian. His sound is global, but his voice is unmistakably rooted in home, something that comes through in “Big Dawgs” and “Run It Up”, where emotional nostalgia merges with contemporary production.

Jasmine Sandlas – Punjabi Singer With Raw Energy And A Bold, Redefining Voice

Jasmine Sandlas is one of India’s most dynamic and fearless voices, known for her raw energy, unapologetic style, and powerful high-pitch vocals that electrify every stage she steps on. Her latest album Legal Robbery captures her signature blend of bold lyricism and infectious beats, proving once again why she’s a force in Punjabi music. Whether it’s the fire of “Pols”, the swagger of “Taras”, the intoxication of “Nasha”, or the intensity of “Dhurandhar”, Jasmine delivers each track with unmatched attitude and emotion. Her performances are more than shows.

Diane Ladd, TV and stage actor, dies at 89 – National

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Diane Ladd, the three-time Academy Award nominee whose roles ranged from the brash waitress in Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore to the protective mother in Wild at Heart, has died at 89.

Ladd’s death was announced Monday by daughter Laura Dern, who issued a statement saying her mother and occasional co-star had died at her home in Ojai, California, with Dern at her side.

Dern, who called Ladd her “amazing hero” and “profound gift of a mother,” did not immediately cite a cause of death.

“She was the greatest daughter, mother, grandmother, actress, artist and empathetic spirit that only dreams could have seemingly created,” Dern wrote. “We were blessed to have her. She is flying with her angels now.”

A gifted comic and dramatic performer, Ladd had a long career in television and on stage before breaking through as a film performer in Martin Scorsese’s 1974 release Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore.

She earned an Oscar nomination for supporting actor for her turn as the acerbic, straight-talking Flo, and went on to appear in dozens of movies over the following decades.

Her many credits included Chinatown, Primary Colors and two other movies for which she received best supporting nods, Wild at Heart and Rambling Rose, both of which co-starred her daughter.

She also continued to work in television, with appearances in ER, Touched by Angel and Alice, the spinoff from Alice Doesn’t Live Here Anymore, among others.

Through marriage and blood relations, Ladd was tied to the arts. Tennessee Williams was a second cousin and first husband Bruce Dern, Laura’s father, was himself an Academy Award nominee. Ladd and Laura Dern achieved the rare feat of mother-and-daughter nominees for their work in Rambling Rose.

A native of Laurel, Mississippi, Ladd was apparently destined to stand out. In her 2006 memoir, Spiraling Through the School of Life, she remembered being told by her great-grandmother that she would one day in “front of a screen” and would “command” her own audiences.

By the mid-1970s, she had lived out her fate well enough to tell The New York Times that no longer denied herself the right to call herself great.

“Now I don’t say that,” she said. “I can do Shakespeare, Ibsen, English accents, Irish accents, no accent, stand on my head, tap dance, sing, look 17 or look 70.”

bitchy | Erika Kirk ran her fingers through JD Vance’s hair on stage as they embraced

My dad was a practicing Hindu, although “practicing” isn’t really a thing in Hinduism. You either are or you aren’t, and from what I’ve seen, many Hindus feel like you have to be born into Hinduism. That being said, “converts” are welcome, but there’s no formal conversion process. I bring this up because JD Vance’s wife Usha is Hindu. She grew up in a Hindu family, she was born into Hinduism. Usha apparently encouraged her husband to convert to Catholicism as an adult, although Usha did not join him or join the Church. Well, last week, JD attended a Turning Point USA event at Ole Miss, and he was asked about multifaith marriages/relationships. He claimed that when he and Usha met, they were both agnostics or atheists, but now that he’s Catholic, he hopes that “eventually” Usha is “somehow moved by the same thing that I was moved in by church? Yeah, I honestly, I do wish that, because I believe in the Christian gospel, and I hope eventually my wife comes to see it the same way.” Yeah… not great. Offensive, even.

Anyway, my guess is that Ole Couchbanger has seen his polling numbers on many subjects, including his wife, his marriage and his three half-Indian children. If Vance wants to run for president in 2028 – if there even is an election at this point – then he definitely wants to ensure the white-supremacist voter bloc. Meaning… JD Vance is possibly in the market for a new wife, one with impeccable white Christian nationalist credentials. Enter Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. Erika attended the same Turning Point event at Ole Miss, and she spoke about how JD reminded her so much of her late husband. Then she ran her fingers through JD Vance’s hair as they passionately embraced on stage.

Vice President JD Vance was the guest of honor at a Turning Point USA event at the University of Mississippi on Wednesday, Oct. 29. But it was a moment during his introduction that has since gone viral.

Erika Kirk, the widow of right-wing political organizer Charlie Kirk, has taken her husband’s place as Turning Point CEO following his assassination during a TPUSA event on Sept. 10. She opened Wednesday’s event with an emotional speech, noting that the day marked seven weeks since her husband was killed.

“When our team asked my dear friend, Vice President JD Vance, to speak today, I really prayed on it, because obviously it’s a very emotional, emotional day,” Erika, 36, shared. “But I could just hear Charlie in my heart. I could just hear him say, ‘Go reclaim that territory, babe. Go. The battle’s already won. God’s love conquers.’ ”

Despite her tearful words, the budding social media conversation after the event stemmed from her dynamic with Vance, 41.

“No one will ever replace my husband,” she told the crowd. “But I do see some similarities of my husband in JD— in Vice President JD Vance. I do. And that’s why I am so blessed to be able to introduce him tonight.”

As Vance took the stage, he and Erika embraced in an intimate manner. The vice president rested his hands on Erika’s hips, and she seemed to thread her fingers through his hair, leaving it slightly mussed.

[From People]

I’ve looked at the photos and the videos… the photos make it seem more intimate, like Vance and Erika Kirk lingered in that position, or that she was running her fingers through his hair for some time. The video shows that while it was definitely inappropriate, there really wasn’t a linger. Still, it feels like… um, Usha is on the way out? Well, it really looks like Erika wants this to happen, let me say that. Do you guys think Erika wore leather pants to remind JD of his favorite couch? Usha would never.

Never in my 47 years has a side piece been so bold. https://t.co/vEwQaD4tK7

Florida Expects Production Surge with New Stage 32 Partnership

by jummy84 November 2, 2025
written by jummy84

There’s a recurring theme in David Fincher’s 2020 film “Mank” about Los Angeles film workers fretting that the studio bosses are going to move Hollywood to Florida. That never happened, and certainly Florida’s paltry statewide tax incentives throughout the 2020s made that seem less likely than ever. However, there are signs that things could be changing, and quickly. Consider it a prelude to Florida’s version of the sudden massive film investment in New Jersey that Paramount and Netflix have carried out by building new studios there.

That level of investment for Florida is still quite some way off, but some tracks are being laid to make it more possible. IndieWire can exclusively announce that Stage 32, the world’s largest online entertainment education program, is partnering with Film Florida to launch a statewide below-the-line certification program. The idea is to begin creating a large, ready-to-work crew base in the state that can spring into action as film and TV productions ramp up.

'Bugonia'

The training will cover key roles, including line producing, location management, post production supervision, production accounting, being an assistant director, being a production assistant, being a production coordinator, and script supervising. In-person workshops will be included as well, and industry veterans leading both online and in-person courses include post-production producer Brad Carpenter (“The Diplomat,” “Fosse/Verdon”), post-production supervisor Leslie Coverse (“Babygirl”) Shalonda Ware (senior production finance manager at Paramount), DGA assistant director Korey Pollard (“SEAL Team”), and location manager Miranda Carnessal (“Barbie,” “Killers of the Flower Moon”).

Though a statewide incentive has been nonexistent for years in Florida, local jurisdictions have offered their own incentives. Across the state, in places like St. Pete/Clearwater, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Broward County, there is a cumulative total of over $30 million in tax incentives for productions, with some allowing up to $2 million in incentives for a single production.

In addition, IndieWire has heard rumbles about the Trump administration encouraging new statewide Florida production tax incentives that could go into effect in the future. There’s no such thing as film tariffs. Supporting film production through new statewide tax incentives, though? That could work.

Tampa Bay in particular has been a magnet for some time for Lifetime and Hallmark movie productions, as well as being one of the leading destinations for shooting commercials in the entire country. Car companies love that it only costs $2,000 to shut down a key toll freeway in Tampa when it isn’t rush hour as a way to really show off their vehicles on-camera. There’s also a growing DIY spirit, with a major indie TV production of Patrick D. Smith’s multi-generational Florida Western novel “A Land Remembered” planned for a 2026 production from “The School Duel” director Todd Wiseman Jr.

But the mini-renaissance of Florida-based filmmaking in the 2010s, with “Magic Mike” and the A24 trifecta of “Spring Breakers,” “Moonlight,” and “Zola” hasn’t continued this decade.

However, if these expanded incentives come through, the Stage 32 program could mean that there’s a ready-to-go crew base in Florida for when production does ramp up again. Local crew bases did indeed spring up around production hubs in New Mexico and Atlanta, and though New Mexico is still going strong, major studio productions have started leaving Georgia en masse. Disney’s MCU films always shot in Atlanta — now they’re in London, reflecting the unfavorable financial environment for films in the U.S. altogether. (On the other hand, production seems to keep ramping up in Texas, thanks to the Taylor Sheridan-motivated tax incentives there.)

Could New Jersey and Florida really pick up the slack for California and Georgia? At the very least, a trial program for Stage 32 in Florida has succeeded so far just in the Tampa Bay region, with the collaboration and support of Film Tampa Bay commissioner Tyler Martinolich, who’s done as much as anyone to bring filmmaking to the area. That program was focused on everything involved with being a production assistant: on-set protocols, paperwork, and collaboration. Those who completed the program were entered into Stage 32’s Certification Portal to be matched with relevant productions across the state and beyond.

“Film Florida is thrilled to partner with Stage 32 to bring world-class training to our members and elevate Florida’s film industry,” said John Lux, Executive Director of Film Florida. “By providing access to Stage 32’s certification program, we’re empowering our film commissions and organizations to build a robust, skilled workforce, starting with this exciting program in Tampa Bay.”

“Stage 32 is honored to collaborate with Film Florida to strengthen Florida’s production ecosystem,” said Amanda Toney, managing director of Stage 32. “After successfully training talent for over 50 film commissions worldwide, including an impactful program with St. Pete/Clearwater, we’re excited to launch this initiative in Tampa Bay and expand opportunities for below-the-line professionals across the state with Film Florida.”

Could New Jersey and Florida really be places where major film productions are taking place all the time? Time will tell.

Pranit More’s Bigg Boss 19 Eviction: Health Issues Take Center Stage! | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 November 1, 2025

In a shocking turn of events, this weekend’s episode of Bigg Boss 19 aired with the news of one of its favorite comedians, Pranit More, leaving the show. The audience was excited to see who would get eliminated on October 31, 2025. But as a surprise, instead of the usual elimination, it got announced that Pranit had been taken to the hospital after his health started deteriorating inside the house.

Sources close to the show revealed that the makers had initially decided to suspend the eviction process and focus on Pranit’s medical needs. The doctors suggested immediate attention be given, and the production team has been getting him properly treated. Though the initial plan was to shift him to a secret room — as is sometimes done in the Bigg Boss format — his condition reportedly did not permit him to continue, hence his official elimination from the reality show.

Get well soon @Rj_pranit .

Since the news broke, fans of the comedian have inundated social media platforms with emotional messages and well-wishes, praying for his recovery. Several fans were disappointed with his untimely exit and termed Pranit one of the most entertaining and genuine contestants this season. Pranit’s humor, cheerful personality, and camaraderie with housemates had made him a fan favorite since the show’s premiere.

Though neither Bigg Boss nor the channel has issued any statement regarding his health condition, sources close to the production have confirmed that he is receiving proper medical treatment and will recover soon.

While Pranit’s health updates are awaited by viewers, the show goes on with charged-up emotions within the house. This incident has also acted as a reminder to fans and contestants alike that beneath the glitter and drama of Bigg Boss lies the very real pressure of surviving weeks of continuous stress and camera surveillance.

Midsomer Murders on stage review | A killer debut for a classic drama

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

A star rating of 5 out of 5.

28 years after it first launched on our TV screens, Midsomer Murders makes a thrilling stage debut.

Retaining all the heart of the beloved TV show, writer and director Guy Unsworth welcomes you to the county of Midsomer with a brand-new look at the episode and book that started it all: The Killings at Badger’s Drift.

The play takes place when well-loved spinster Emily Simpson is found dead and her friend Lucy Bellringer refuses to accept it was an accident. DCI Tom Barnaby and Sergeant Gavin Troy are called in to investigate, uncovering a world of hidden passions, long-buried secrets and deadly rivalries.

Leading the cast is Daniel Casey, the original DS Gavin Troy, who has been promoted to DCI Tom Barnaby. In an interview with Radiotimes.com, Casey admitted feeling a little “daunted” and “a little bit trepidatious” about the role, but he takes on the mantel left by John Nettles with ease.

Casey brings a quiet authority and warmth in the part that helps to ground the play. He’s the calming presence in the manicured wilderness of Midsomer, giving the audience a steady guide throughout.

Surrounding him is an assortment of eclectic characters, all expertly played by a handful of supporting cast; most of whom are playing two or three roles. It was quite a surprise to realise how few actors there were when the show ended.

Daniel Casey (Barnaby), James Bradwell (Troy) & Rupert Sadler (Dennis Rainbird) in The Killings at Badger’s Drift. Manuel Harlan

Barnaby’s protégé, DS Troy, is now played by James Bradwell; delivering the same bad-driving and conclusion jumping fans of the show would be expecting. While the play is scattered with funny moments, Bradwell shows up for a lot of them; whether he’s the butt of the joke or simply being an over-eager detective, he offers up that touch of lightness the show is known for.

Casey told us in the run up that “if you’re a fan of the television series, you’re going to love the play”. As one of those said fans, it truly felt like I was watching an episode in action. The staging rolls between cottages to manors to murder scenes in seconds. It creates the feeling of escapism the TV show is known for. Accompanying this is a familiar score that brings tension and warmth throughout each scene, underscoring the mystery, the brutality and the quintessential English charm that its famous for.

More than anything, Midsomer Murders delivers exactly what theatre goers could hope for: a sharp, thoroughly entertaining whodunnit. It’s two hours of intrigue and charm that keeps you guessing until the very end. Just don’t be too confident you’ll solve it before DCI Barnaby.

The band were formed by Metcalfe, alongside Lee Glynn, Nathan Crowley, John Coley, and Simon Finley in Liverpool in 2008 and released two albums: 2010’s ‘What Came From Fire’ and 2012’s ‘Angels and Enemies’.

While they did not disclose the cause of death, his bandmates did say that they “take solace in the fact that his music and lyrics touched so many of you”, and said that “the tributes and stories we have read are simply beautiful”.

Sound Of Guns went on a permanent hiatus in 2013. During their time together they performed at the likes of Glastonbury, Latitude Festival, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, and more, as well as playing four of their songs at Maida Vale Studios for BBC Radio 1.

In 2016 they also saw a new wave of recognition when British Astronaut Tim Peake played ‘Antartica’ while orbiting Earth, and the members told Apple Music that it was one of the “most memorable” moments of their career.

Doctor who survived stage 4 breast cancer shares 5 powerful foods that can help your body fight cancer: From berries to…

You’ve probably heard the phrase “you are what you eat,” but it’s more real than you think. The right foods can actually help your body ward off serious diseases. From colourful veggies to everyday kitchen staples, some ingredients are loaded with cancer-fighting compounds.

Dr Mussallem reveals that specific foods, including soy and berries, can combat cancer risks.(Pexels)

Dr Dawn Mussallem, a double board-certified physician at Mayo Clinic and a stage 4 breast cancer survivor, shared in an October 23 podcast with American author Mel Robbins the top five foods that can help your body fight cancer and promote long-term wellness. 1. Berries

“Research on berries is so exciting, both for breast cancer prevention and for survivors,” says Dr Mussallem. “For every two servings a week, they can reduce the risk of breast cancer, and for survivors, lower the risk of dying from it by 25%.”

2. Purple sweet potatoes

“These purple sweet potatoes have about 150% more anthocyanins than berries,” she explains. “These powerful compounds help turn off tumour genes and activate tumour suppressor genes, essentially putting the brakes on cancer growth.”

3. Cruciferous vegetables (like broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts)

“These are some of the most powerful vegetables when it comes to breast cancer,” Dr Mussallem says. “They contain an enzyme called myrosinase, which helps the body absorb their cancer-fighting nutrients more effectively. They also help transform estrogen into a form that doesn’t stimulate cell growth.”

4. Beans and other fibre-rich plant foods

“This is an amazing plant protein and you’re not just getting protein, you’re getting fibre,” she notes. “A massive study with 17 million person-years of data showed that fibre can reduce the risk of dying from any cause, heart disease, and even pancreatic cancer. Another review found that fibre can cut overall cancer risk by 22%.”

5. Soy and edamame

“There are very few foods that, if you ever got breast cancer, can actually reduce your risk of dying, and edamame is one of them,” says Dr Mussallem. “Soy is also protective for the prostate and may reduce the risk of lung cancer. The American Cancer Society’s 2022 report showed soy can lower the risk of breast cancer recurrence by 25%.”

Dr Mussallem concludes by reminding us that food truly is medicine. “All these colourful fruits and vegetables are full of phytonutrients that help the body heal. The body has such wisdom to repair itself, we just have to give it the right tools.”

Watch Fergie Make Rare Return To Stage to Give Ludacris His Flowers

It was just before 9 p.m. Sunday night at Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. Tyler, The Creator, stood on the side of the stage, rapping along word-for-word to one of his favorite MCs as if he were the headliner himself.

Packing the grounds with throngs of devotees was the One Musicfest’s top-billed performer, Ludacris, who rose from local DJ to global fame with hits like ”Money Maker” and ”Southern Hospitality,” and established himself as a top Hollywood draw with the Fast franchise and the Oscar-winning Crash.

As tenured record executive Rich Nice pulled out his phone and started scrolling through Cris’ setlist on his text messages, Tyler tried to sneak a peek.

“When does ‘Move Bi**h’ come on?” Tyler inquired politely. Nice smiled and told him, “Oh, you have a little while before he gets to it.” A few feet away, Busta Rhymes was grinning with pride, elated to see his friend tear the proverbial house down.

Throughout the night, a host of celebrities would join in on an uproarious 25th-anniversary celebration, among them: Jermaine Dupri, Jadakiss, Jeezy, Shawna, I-20, Chingy, Fergie, Usher, and LL Cool J, each giving Cris his flowers as one of hip-hop’s most beloved and talented MCs.

Fergie, whose musical history with Cris goes back to 2007, flew in from Los Angeles, made a rare return to the stage to deliver a one-two punch of hits.

Dupri helped Cris kick off the show with “Welcome to Atlanta,” both sporting the Atlanta Braves’ navy blue and red for a crowd that had braved the cold and rain to see the weekend’s headliner.

After “Act a Fool,” Cris went into his bag and dropped one of his biggest signature hits, “Southern Hospitality,” which helped put him on the map in the year 2000.

Later, Cris was assisted on “Area Codes” and his featured rhyme on Ciara’s “Oh” by a collective he called the “Trap Choir,” who hit harmonies and background vocals while he rapped over a band’s live instrumentation.

Chingy, a former signee on Cris’ Disturbing Tha Peace Records, was the next surprise, coming out for “Holidae In” and his mega-hit “Right Thurr.”

Fellow DTP alum Bobby Valentino showed up for “Pimpin’ All Over the World” and “Slow Down,” while Jadakiss and Jeezy brought their street-entrenched lyricism later in the set at separate times.

Cris, who changed to black and yellow colors while Jeezy was holding court with “Put On,” went from heralded hood hierarchy to pop royalty as his show progressed, bringing out “The Dutchess” herself, Fergie — whose only other performance in close to a decade was in 2022 as part of Jack Harlow’s MTV VMAs set.

Fergie appeared to the crowd via a riser housed on a platform where the band played center stage. She began singing “Glamorous,” carefully descending a staircase while Cris held her hand.

“We got Fergie out the muthafu**in’ house! Can y’all please make some noise?” Cris commanded, much to the audience’s delight. “She ain’t perform in over seven years and she came to Atlanta, Georgia!”

Fergie didn’t come all the way from L.A. to perform just one song, Cris cracked. Sure enough, she teased, “They ain’t ready for this,” and dove into “London Bridge (Oh Shit).” That song’s producer and fellow ATL native Polow Da Don, who also worked on “Glamorous,” came out to the stage to help her with ad-libs.

“Thank you so much for being here for me every single time. Everyone give it up for Luuuuuuuuuuudah!” Fergie said after the performance. The energy got even more electric when Usher came out for “Lovers and Friends” and “Yeah” delivered back-to-back.

But just as Cris had surprised the crowd the entire night, he got to witness a performance that even he wasn’t clued in to. His team surprised him by bringing out the man who inspired him to rap — LL Cool J — for “Loungin’” and “I’m Bad.”

True to Rich Nice’s word, Tyler, the Creator did have to wait a while for “Move Bitch.” The fan favorite closed out the set, incorporating drones that lit up the sky with dancing figures.

Afterward, Cris hosted a celebratory dinner at a restaurant called Retreat, where his manager and Chaka Zulu each captained a team in a friendly but rambunctious game of spades, while guests ate and took pictures.

“That was my favorite show ever,” Cris said. “It’s so dope to see hip-hop coming together from all walks, different generations, and [fans] just appreciating the art of what we’ve done —changing our lives. I’ve done a lot of shows over the last 25 years of my life, but I’m going to go ahead and put this one at the top, man.

“The way that it flowed, the love from the city, the friends that came out, all the multiple guest appearances that I’ve done, how we curated the show list, the drone show, the trap choir — man, the surprises! It’s blowing my mind. It’s going to take me a week to process, bro.”

Ludacris and LL Cool J

The rapper and actor was still basking in the glow of LL Cool J. “I don’t even know if I have words for that — I feel like a little kid, man,” he beamed.

“That was one of those moments that was just… I feel so blessed that this man got asked to come do this. He showed up for my Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. So, in my eyes, he’s already done more than what he was supposed to do… I’m just appreciative.”

Among the other performers at One Musicfest on Saturday and Sunday were Busta, with Mary J. Blige, Havoc from Mobb Deep and The Roots, Jazmine Sullivan, Jagged Edge and Lloyd, D-Nice, a reunion of the Dungeon Family, and Future.
