Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan and his wife, makeup artist Sshura Khan, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. According to media reports, Sshura gave birth on Sunday at Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai, where she had been admitted a day earlier. While neither Arbaaz nor Sshura has shared an official statement yet, the news has quickly spread across fan pages and entertainment portals. Paparazzi stationed outside the hospital captured glimpses of family members visiting the couple, hinting that both mother and baby are doing well.
The couple had kept their pregnancy private despite ongoing speculation over the past few months. Arbaaz, who is known for maintaining a low profile, only recently confirmed the news of Sshura’s pregnancy in a brief interaction with the media.
This marks Arbaaz’s second child. The 57-year-old actor shares a son, Arhaan Khan, with his ex-wife, Malaika Arora. The former couple, who married in 1998, amicably separated in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2017. They continue to co-parent Arhaan, who often appears with both parents at family events.
Arbaaz and Sshura’s love story began on the sets of Patna Shukla, a film starring Raveena Tandon. Arbaaz produced the film, while Sshura worked as Raveena’s makeup artist. Their professional bond soon turned into a personal connection, and after dating for a brief period, they tied the knot on December 24, 2023. The intimate nikah ceremony took place at Arbaaz’s sister Arpita Khan Sharma’s residence in Mumbai, attended by close friends and family members.
Earlier this year, the Khans hosted a cozy baby shower for Sshura. The celebration was attended by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan with his son Nirvan, Arpita Khan Sharma, and their mother Sushila Charak. Arhaan Khan, along with other celebrities like Raveena Tandon, Ravi Dubey, Sargun Mehta, Helen, and Jannat Zubair, was also part of the joyous occasion.
