The same goes for Parfums de Marly’s Delina, a delicate floral and known compliment magnet—tagged at $410, but I’ve hit the jackpot with a $97 bottle. Okay, technically speaking, a hair perfume won’t look exactly like its eau de parfum counterpart. The juice tends to be less concentrated (not as much fragrance oil) and packaged in more utilitarian bottles you can easily spritz with abandon—though, many luxury options do honor the brand’s original gorgeous designs. That said, the notes are the same, and so is the effect (read: “You smell incredible!” compliments from coworkers, friends, and strangers). I tend to spray eau de parfums directly on my strands anyway—a hack French women swear by for scent longevity—so swapping it out with a proper hair mist just makes sense.
