Deepika Padukone’s sister Anisha Padukone is reportedly set to tie the knot with her longtime boyfriend Rohan Acharya. While an official announcement hasn’t been made yet, a report by Deccan Chronicle states that the Acharya family has shared the news of a wedding in the near future.


Who is Rohan Acharya?Rohan Acharya works in Dubai and is the great grandson of legendary yesteryear director Bimal Roy. Chimoo Acharya, Rohan’s mother, is the daughter of Rinki Roy Bhattacharya and Basu Bhattacharya. Rinki is Bimal Roy’s daughter.

Interestingly, Rohan’s family tree extends up to the Deols. Chimoo married Sumit Acharya. He is a Dubai-based corporate executive. Now their daughter and Rohan’s sister Drisha Acharya is married to Karan Deol and happens to be Sunny Deol’s elder daughter-in-law.

Wedding details

The Padukone family is yet to make an official announcement. While the news has only come out as rumours and reports, fans have been excited to know whether Deepika and her family are really preparing for a grand wedding. Deepika and Ranveer Singh also happen to follow Rohan on social media. Moreover, Ranveer and Rohan’s families are reportedly close to each other. The report from Deccan Chronicle adds, “Ranveer Singh could well have played cupid… Ranveer’s parents and Sumit Acharya are very close. It’s a wonderful family, and Anisha and Rohan naturally clicked as they met over several gatherings.”

A year after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Ankita Lokhande married businessman Vicky Jain on December 14, 2021. Jain recently debuted as a film producer with Haq, which stars Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi in the lead.

“Worship of the goddess in the house and the presence of so many gods have given us immense peace and blessings,” Lokhande wrote after Haq’s release. “Vicky and I are standing as a team today on the path of this success,” she added.

Lokhande also said “peace and tranquillity” were the “greatest wealth” one could enjoy. “Just praying that everyone stays happy and healthy. Hail the mother goddess,” she added.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s elder sister Kim Ji Yoon is reportedly all set to make her debut in the entertainment industry.

According to news reports, Ji Yoon will be joining the ENA survival show Super Seller: Incentive Game, marking her debut in the industry.

Kim Ji Yoon, is a former flight attendant and the show will have 40 contestants from various fields competing. The winner is determined by the number of sales each contestant makes and will not have any judges.

“You’ve got to live, don’t you?” Madman Films in Australia has unveiled an official trailer for the film The Little Sister, an acclaimed French coming-of-age drama from filmmaker / actress Hafsia Herzi directing her fourth feature so far. This originally premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival earlier this year in the Main Competition section – it won the coveted Best Actress award for star Nadia Melliti who plays Fatima. The film just opened in French cinemas a few weeks ago after playing at festivals all year long. Fatima, 17, is the youngest of 3 daughters in a French-Algerian family. Wanting to find her own path in life, she begins university studies in Paris, where she embraces new experiences. She struggles to develop her identity and balance emerging desires, including her attraction to women, while also maintaining a sense of loyalty to her family. The cast features Nadia Melliti with Park Ji-min (also seen in Return to Seoul), Amina Ben Mohamed, Rita Benmannana, and Melissa Guers. This looks quite good! Not sure another story about life in Paris, a more meaningful coming-of-age tale of identity & honesty. Keep an eye out for this one soon.

Starting university in Paris, she dates, makes friends, and explores a whole new world, all while confronting a timeless and heartrending dilemma: How can one stay true to oneself when reconciling different parts of one’s identity feels impossible? The Little Sister, also known as La Petite Dernière (meaning The Little Last One), is written and directed by French-Tunisian actress / filmmaker Hafsia Herzi, director of the films You Deserve a Lover, Good Mother, and La Cour previously. Adapted from the book titled “The Last One” (“La petite dernière”) by Fatima Daas. Produced by Julie Billy and Naomi Denamur. This initially premiered at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival earlier this year. The film already opened in theaters in France starting in October this fall. Actor Vijayta Pandit once shared how her sister, the late Sulakshana Pandit, didn’t know about the murder of their sibling Sandhya Pandit even after a decade. Speaking with Lehren Retro, last year, Vijayta had revealed that if Sulakshana found out, she would “die that very moment.” Sandhya, also the sister of music composer duo Jatin-Lalit, went missing in 2012, and her partial skeleton was found nearly a month later.

Vijayta Pandit had spoken about how they found Sandhya’s “bones scattered in different places.” She had said, “She (Sandhya) was murdered. We never thought that all of a sudden something like this could happen. She was quite happy in her marriage… I don’t know what happened. We never even found her, we found her skeleton. First her family said she has gone missing, so we used to go, me and my brothers Lalit and Jatin, to look for her everywhere. After a long time, they found her bones scattered in different places. It was a very big thing.”

When Vijayta revealed why Sulakshana didn’t know about Sandhya’s death

She had added, “And you won’t believe it, Sulakshana ji, even till today, has no idea that our sister is no more. Can you believe this? This is the first time I am saying this. I never told her because if she finds out, she will die that very moment. I keep telling her that our sister is fine, she lives in Indore, and that she calls me too. Sulakshana thinks she is alive, she asks me to send her love to our sister as she doesn’t use a mobile phone. I swear on God, I have to keep up with the act even to this day.”

More about the case

In 2021, The Indian Express reported that Sandhya’s son Raghuveer Singh was acquitted of all charges of murdering her in 2012. A Thane sessions court said that the prosecution could not establish anything except the fact that the accused was addicted to alcohol and had enmity with his mother.

About Sulakshana, her career as a singer-actor

Sulakshana died on Thursday evening after a prolonged illness, her family said. She was 71. Her last rites was performed on Friday at the Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai.

She is best known for crooning Bekrar Dil Tu Gaye Ja, and Somwar Ko Hum Mile Mangalwar Ko Nain with legendary Kishore Kumar. Her track Pardesiya Tere Desh Mein with music icon Mohammed Rafi was also loved by many. The duo together created several musical gems such as Sona Re Tujhe Kaise Miloon, Yeh Pyara Lage Tera Chehra, Jab Aati Hogi Yaad Meri and Yeh Pyar Kiya Hai. She also sang Saat Samundar Paar duet with legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar.

Sulakshana began her cinematic journey with the 1975 release Uljhan, where she starred opposite the legendary Sanjeev Kumar. Her other film credits include Hera Pheri (1976), Dharam Kanta (1982), Do Waqt Ki Roti (1988), and Goraa (1987), among others.

Should Kody still be interested in having his love multiplied, there’s no shortage of options. 

As he revealed to Robyn on the Nov. 2 episode, “I got another one of those emails from some woman talking about plural marriage.” 

The unnamed person was “kind of chastising me for deciding to quit plural marriage,” he explained to his sole remaining bride. And then she offered up her services. “She’s calling me out,” Kody explained to Robyn, “and then asking sort of like to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family.” 

Truthfully, it wasn’t an immediate no from Robyn, who admitted in a confessional, “For a split second, I think, ‘Oh, wouldn’t this be great? This is what I’ve always wanted for my life.’ And, ‘Hmm, would they fit.'” 

Ultimately, though, it was a no. 

“I find it very inappropriate that they would send it to Kody,” she explained of her issue with the outreach. “It’s not usually proper to go hitting on a guy. You have to go through the sister wives.”

Matthew Perry’s sister still hears his voice.

The late Matthew Perry’s presence is still felt by his sister

The Friends star passed away at the age of 54 in October 2023 and his sibling Caitlin Morrison continues to feel his presence two years on from his death.

She told Variety: “I feel him around a lot and I can hear the things that he would say in response to the things that are going on as if he’s actually here saying them. Maybe he is. I don’t know. Who knows? Maybe ghosts are real.”

Caitlin founded the nonprofit initiative the Matthew Perry House – which aims to support those living with addiction – following her brother’s death from an accidental ketamine overdose and felt that it was “natural” step for her take after the tragedy.

She explained: “I’ve had this whole career in nonprofits and charities. It was a very natural thing for my mind to do after he died – to try to work what I knew how to do into bringing some kind of meaning and purpose to this horrible, horrible thing that shouldn’t have happened.”

Tuesday (28.10.25) marked the second anniversary of Perry’s death and Caitlin is trying to take a balanced approach when it comes to grief.

She said: “It’s just always going to be a day with a little bit of darkness on it.

“But maybe that’s wrong – because on his birthday this year, I realised I was actually more OK that day than usual.

“Those days like October 28th don’t actually make it harder. They’re the days where it’s allowed to be really hard. They’re permission to cry publicly in an embarrassing way.”

Caitlin quipped: “The defensive mechanism funny answer is he ruined Halloween for me, so thanks.

“The serious answer is… it’s just a day with a little bit of darkness on it.”

Matthew’s Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston revealed how she mourned the actor – who played Chandler Bing in the popular sitcom – “for a long time” prior to his death because of the long battle he fought against addiction.

She told Vanity Fair magazine in August: “We did everything we could when we could.

“But it almost felt like we’d been mourning Matthew for a long time because his battle with that disease was a really hard one for him to fight.

“As hard as it was for all of us and for the fans, there’s a part of me that thinks this is better. I’m glad he’s out of that pain.”

Olivia Simmons, sister of NBA star Ben Simmons, recently shared a snarky TikTok video in which she took aim at his former girlfriend, model Kendall Jenner. In the clip, Olivia recalls a game night where they played Cards Against Humanity and Jenner announced she’d bake cookies, but according to Olivia, it didn’t go well. She mocked Jenner for attempting to cut ready-made dough unevenly and referenced a past viral moment in which Jenner awkwardly sliced a cucumber.  

“I have never seen so many uneven cookies,” Olivia says in the video. “You rich b****. If you don’t call your chef to come and cook these cookies for you?” She went on to label the Kardashian-Jenner family as “weird b****es.”  

The video has stirred a mixed reaction online. Some viewers found it entertaining, but many criticized Olivia for what they viewed as an unnecessary and mean-spirited dig at Jenner over something trivial. One commenter wrote: “This is so weird of you” and another added: “Bullying is so normalized.”

Neither Kendall Jenner nor Ben Simmons publicly responded to the post yet. The relationship between Kendall and Ben was short-lived, dating from 2018 to 2019, and both have moved on in their careers and personal lives.  

Regardless of intent, Olivia’s TikTok has reignited interest in the Jenner-Simmons past and raised questions about how feuds between celebrity families are shared and perceived in the social-media age.
