First Sight Media expands team with key creative and commercial appointments

by jummy84 December 13, 2025
written by jummy84

(L to R) Tyrone Herbst and Noel Hoey

Event production and streaming specialist, First Sight Media, has announced the appointment of two key personnel: Tyrone Herbst joins as senior video editor, while Noel Hoey takes up the role of client engagement manager, signalling a strategic move to bolster both the company’s creative output and its dedicated client support,

Bringing a decade of experience to the post, Herbst joins the team as senior video editor. Originally from South Africa, where he successfully ran his own video production company, Herbst moved to the UK two years ago. With a background that merges technical editing precision with digital marketing strategy, he specialises in visual storytelling for promotional and corporate projects. His arrival is timely as the company continues to evolve and  innovate its content creation offering for events and for wider promotional films.

Herbst’s journey to First Sight Media is one of industry symmetry. While working as a digital content manager for an aviation company, he discovered First Sight Media’s work via YouTube while researching content from Event Tech Live (ETL). Impressed by the company’s scope—spanning live streaming, creative production, and graduation ceremonies—he applied. Fittingly, his first on-site project for First Sight Media was filming at Event Tech Live 2025.

Herbst said, “It’s a bit of a full-circle moment for me. I actually discovered First Sight Media via their YouTube content while scouting for promos we could use. The company’s reputation for going beyond standard video production to deliver complex live streaming and creative content appealed to me immediately. Having run my own business, I understand the importance of merging creativity with commercial goals, and I’m excited to bring my experience in visual storytelling to a team that is so passionate about capturing every moment.”

Strengthening the commercial side of the business, Noel Hoey joins as client engagement manager. Hoey will act as the driving force behind building long-lasting client relationships, ensuring customers remain at the heart of the production process. His role focuses on understanding client challenges and vision, translating them into meaningful solutions across live production and streaming.

Hoey said: “For me, business is about genuine partnerships, not just transactions. My goal is to be out in the world, listening to our clients and shaping their long-term content strategies with clarity and creativity. Since joining, the atmosphere here has been unreal: warm, collaborative, and endlessly supportive. It’s clear that kindness and integrity filter down from the top, and that energy allows us to do great work. I’m looking forward to turning initial conversations into trusted, long-term relationships where clients feel confident that we are the partner to bring their ideas to life.”

Rich Belcher, managing director of First Sight Media, commented, “These are two vital appointments for First Sight Media as we continue to grow. For us, recruitment isn’t just about skills on paper; it’s about finding people who instinctively get our values and our personality. Tyrone and Noel are fantastic additions who are not only highly skilled in their respective fields but are also completely in tune with our ethos. Whether it is Tyrone’s technical storytelling or Noel’s dedication to client collaboration, they both embody the energy and professionalism that our clients expect from us.”

First Sight Media delivers a video masterpiece to mark CTPA’s 80th Anniversary

by jummy84 November 7, 2025
written by jummy84

Content creation and streaming agency, First Sight Media, has partnered with the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Perfumery Association (CTPA) to create the association’s video content for its 80th Anniversary, celebrating eight decades of championing the cosmetics and personal care industry in the UK.

The centrepiece of this ambitious content project is an anniversary movie, “A Story That We Share”, which premiered at the CTPA’s Anniversary Dinner at 8 Northumberland Avenue, London. The movie showcases the organisation’s rich legacy, core values, and the voices of its members, partners and stakeholders.

Produced by First Sight Media, the video weaves together compelling interviews, stakeholder testimonials, dynamic animation, and professionally voiced narration.

The content has also been strategically repurposed into a ‘Collection’ of shorter video clips entitled ‘What Our Members Say’, showcasing CTPA’s work and contribution on various themes through the words of CTPA members themselves.

“We had a vision for this special Anniversary year, that involved bringing together many voices amongst our members, stakeholders and partners, to capture the ethos and spirit of CTPA’s work throughout the years and looking ahead. An exciting but complex project! First Sight Media’s technical expertise and all-round professionalism made this journey a delight. We’re immensely proud of what we’ve created with them,” said Héloïse Prieur, communications and marketing manager at CTPA.

The collaboration began in December 2024, with filming taking place into 2025. First Sight Media coordinated shoots across multiple London locations to meet the demanding schedules of the CTPA’s Board members and stakeholders. Post-production, including editing, animation, and voiceover work, was completed in April, with the final film ready for debut in summer 2025.

“We were honoured to help articulate how CTPA has been at the heart of their industry for 80 years – through the power of video,” explained Rich Belcher, MD of First Sight Media.

The movie reflects not only the Association’s rich legacy, but also the ongoing excellence that defines both CTPA and the wider cosmetics and personal care industry. It highlights the industry’s essential role in promoting wellbeing, its commitment to safety, quality, trust, and passion, driven by science and innovation.

“The result included a timeline of the industry’s development, showing how CTPA has been there to guide, lead and influence the industry in its 80 years. To show the diversity of membership, we then captured testimonials and interviews with members. Although there were set questions, the range of answers told a fresh and unique perspective, which we were able to integrate to create a movie that is both personal, inspiring and informative,” concluded Belcher.

The Anniversary movie can be watched on CTPA’s website here: Celebrating 80 Years.

Married at First Sight groom Keye grows emotional in first look clip

However fellow couple Keye and Davide couldn’t be more pleased with the experts’ choice. But the teaser for the next episode suggested trouble in paradise, as Davide appears to be growing annoyed with Keye’s innuendos and jokes.

In an exclusive clip shared with RadioTimes.com, Keye is brought to tears when he opens up about his brother and family life growing up, confessing that he used deflection as a coping mechanism.

“My brother was very disabled, he had cerebral palsy,” Keye explained. “So when he was born, he was only meant to live until he was one. Thankfully, he lived until he was nine, just turning 10. Obviously it was a lot to deal with, and it was the same time as my parents were getting divorced…”

He continued: “So I guess the reason why, in so many situations, I deflect [is] because it was a coping mechanism that I always had to get me through a really difficult period.”

You can watch the full clip above.

Keye and Davide tied the knot in the very first episode, with both seemingly happy with the experts’ matching.

Prior to the show airing, Keye was described as a man on a journey of personal self-discovery who was searching for a more meaningful and fulfilling life.

As for Davide, he was looking for someone kind-hearted, handsome, romantic and someone who will share his love of cats.

We’ll have to wait and see if the pair work out long-term.

Ganesh Chaturthi started on August 27 with grandeur all over the nation, and actress Bhumi Pednekar participated with her own private puja at home. Posting snapshots of several family members celebrating on Instagram, Bhumi treated fans to a glimpse of the devotional environment. A video featured her reciting mantras with her sister Samiksha and their mother, while another clip showed her making offerings of flowers before the intricately decorated Ganesh idol sitting on a floral throne.

Graceful Traditional Appearance
For the event, Bhumi chose a sea green and gold silk saree with a golden blouse. She added a statement choker necklace, similar earrings, and a dainty Chandrakor bindi to her appearance, while makeup was kept subtle to enhance her natural glow. Her traditional look and calm smile spoke the language of the festival.
Posting the photos, she captioned, “Ganpati Bappa Morya.”. May Bappa bless us all, may there be peace and prosperity. May we always be blessed with the presence of loved ones and by the blessings of the departed.” The emotional post went out with warm wishes from fans, who saluted both her appearance and her devotion.

Visiting Mumbai’s Iconic Pandal
Having celebrated the day at home, Bhumi ventured out to participate in the city’s festive spirit under the BT Blockbuster Bappas programme sponsored by Bombay Times. She went to the famous GSB Seva Mandal pandal at King’s Circle, one of the most famous Ganeshotsav locales in Mumbai. Wearing traditional clothes and sporting a nathni, she made offerings and imbibed the religious vibes of the pandal.

Talking about her association with the festival, Bhumi told us, “As Ganesh Chaturthi approaches every year, my energies rise. The dhol beats and the chant of ‘Ganapathaye Namah’ instill a divine energy that is so profound and divine.” With her religiosity and festive appeal, Bhumi was the very essence of Ganesh Chaturthi.
