Young Thug Shows Up To Court To Support Metro Boomin In Producer’s Civil S3xual A$$ault Trial

#YoungThug is showing up for those who matter to him. The rapper took time out of his schedule to appear for day two of court proceedings in #MetroBoomin’s civil s3xual a$$ault trial. He was spotted heading inside the Los Angeles courthouse wearing green pants and a white tank.

As reported, A woman, Vanessa LeMaistre, has accused the producer of r@ping her in a #BeverlyHills hotel room in 2016. On day one of the trial, LeMaistre testified that taking the psychedelic plant Ayahuasca eight years later helped her realize that she needed to seek legal action.

#Metro’s legal team has slammed the allegations, saying she’s upset he “stopped giving her attention after the last time they had s3x.” They added, “We are here because she thought my client could solve her financial problems. And so she made a claim that he s3xually a$$aulted her, expecting that he would just write a check to make it all go away quickly and quietly.”

The trial is expected to conclude on Friday (Sept. 26)

Foxing to Go on Hiatus After Final 2025 Shows

by jummy84 September 23, 2025
written by jummy84

St. Louis emo stalwarts Foxing have announced that they’re going on hiatus. “[It] has become clear to us that in our pursuit of our dreams and making the most honest and genuine art we can, our relationship with music, each other, and our sense of self without the band has eroded,” the band wrote in a statement posted to social media.

Foxing will play two farewell shows—one in Chicago and one in St. Louis—in December. See those dates and find the group’s full message below.

Foxing was formed in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2011, by bassist Josh Coll, drummer Jon Hellwig, and guitarist Matthew Piva. The band went through several lineup changes before the 2013 release of debut album The Albatross. By then, Foxing had settled into a five-piece of Coll, Hellwig, vocalist Conor Murphy, and guitarists Ricky Sampson and Eric Hudson. Foxing spent the next couple of years on the road, landing opening slots for fellow emo favorites like the Hotelier and Modern Baseball.

Coll left Foxing between the release of 2015’s Dealer and 2018’s Nearer My God. Produced by Death Cab for Cutie’s Chris Walla, Nearer My God marked the band’s leap to anthemic, festival-sized indie-rock. In his review of Nearer My God, Ian Cohen wrote that it “provides the incapacitating rush of watching a broken play develop into a Hail Mary, a half-court buzzer beater, a double steal that actually works—the thrill of its success amplified by palpable risk and an alternate, disastrous outcome that was narrowly avoided.”

After Nearer My God, Foxing released Draw Down the Moon, in 2021, and a 2024 self-titled album.

Foxing With Special Guests

Foxing:

After 14 years as a band and 12 years of consistent touring, we’ve decided to take a hiatus from playing shows, writing or doing anything as Foxing.

It feels really scary to say that. This band has been completely inseparable from us as people for our entire adult lives up to this point. It is so much of our identity and our sense of self worth in the world. But it has become clear to us that in our pursuit of our dreams and making the most honest and genuine art we can, our relationship with music, each other, and our sense of self without the band has eroded. We have decided to prioritize these things and need to step away from the band to do so.

These shows in Chicago and St. Louis will be our last for the foreseeable future. Know that if you ever saw us at a show or listened to our records, you were getting the most from us that we could possibly give in that moment. We will come back if/when we feel that we have more to give.

Massive Attack correct “outright lies” of reports on facial recognition at live shows

by jummy84 September 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Massive Attack have addressed reports regarding facial recognition at their live shows, denying that the technology was in use.

Last week, reports about the trip-hop icons using the technology at their shows began to circulate online, leading them to explain that the live effects at their shows – comprising a face-detection effect and a fictional, randomly assigned ‘database’ – are satirical.

In a statement titled ‘It Isn’t What It Isn’t”, shared on social media this evening, they began: “Last week, a number of platforms including ‘Somewhere.Media’, ‘Hidden’ and others ran stories relating to our live show & the apparent use of live facial recognition technology.

“Via the brainless duplication chambers of Al-generated IG accounts, the ‘story’ snowballed, & between entertainment platforms and Al clonethink, nobody and nothing bothered to factcheck. Inaccuracies and outright lies proliferated in tandem with likes & shares. ‘Somewhere Media’ went nowhere near any basic reporting standard, stating that show material was ‘pulled from public databases.’”

They explained that “no Massive Attack live show has ever recorded or stored personal data,” adding, “Only government departments, relevant authorities & approved contractors can access public databases in the UK, & doing so in multiple cities/countries would be impossible.”

Massive Attack continued by highlighting the use of public facial recognition in the UK, writing that the government are “overreaching almost all other western democracies with their use of public facial recognition … while there is no specific legislation regulating police use of these systems.”

The slideshow with their statement included then finishes with an image of their live show’s fake facial recognition server.

Their announcement comes days after they introduced Kneecap to the stage for their huge show at the OVO Wembley Arena, describing them as a band “who refused to be silenced for their solidarity with the Palestinian people.”

Massive Attack have been consistent in their support for Palestine, among myriad progressive causes, recently vowing to boycott Spotify in response to reports that the platform’s CEO Daniel Ek has made significant investments “in a company producing military munition drones and AI technology integrated into fighter aircraft.”

And speaking to NME in December 2024 ahead of their headline set at the Act 1.5 “climate action accelerator” event in Liverpool, frontman Robert Del Naja, or 3D, said: “When I look at modern history, most of the solutions I love the most that’ve created social change come from science and the arts – seldom have come from centres of political power or civic bodies. It comes from people who slice things in a different way.”

He added: “We’ve got to find ways of unification through storytelling – leading by example and bringing that together through the creative industries. You’re looking at trying to find a standardisation within our own behaviour that we voluntarily accept. Otherwise, you’re looking at it all having to be regulated. Then it’s about control of power and sovereignty of the self. And then you’re dealing straight into the middle of the cultural battle about self-sovereignty and the role of The State and taxation – the whole fucking Elon Musk gig.

“I mean, it’s all a big joke for those guys. Fiscal anarchy is great for them because they’ve got so much money to move around the world, but the rest of us are fucked. That sovereign self bullshit is the thing I hate the most. Because really we have to work together. The human race doesn’t work as a species of individuals. Not many species on the planet do. Maybe a snow leopard does? Fucking great. But how many of those are out there?”

Also in the interview, he said they had plans to release new music in 2025. “We do have some new music which we’ve been sitting on for four years… dispute at the label – that’s a different article altogether,” he explained.

“I hate sitting on stuff for too long because I’m the first person to get bored of it. I deliberately don’t play it for months so that I can maintain some enthusiasm for it. It’s good – I’m looking forward to it!”

Steve Martin Cancels Comedy Shows After Contracting COVID

by jummy84 September 20, 2025
written by jummy84

Steve Martin has canceled two comedy tour stops over the weekend after contracting COVID, the Only Murders in the Building star shared on Instagram. He and co-star Martin Short were set to continue The Dukes of Funnytown! Tour.

“Dear Virginia Beach and Richmond. Sadly, I have come down with Covid. I can’t possibly do the shows that you deserve. So Marty and I must cancel tonight & tomorrow. But we will return under better circumstances.😔,” Martin wrote on Instagram yesterday alongside a photo of his pup looking weary.

In a separate joke post later, Martin shared an image of his COVID test results, saying, “Hey! No flu!”

The comedic duo and longtime collaborators’ next stop will be at the Seminole Hard Rock Live in Florida Oct. 4, a rescheduled date from Jan. 11. Additional tour dates will occur in such locales as Las Vegas, Boston, Pittsburgh and Austin, concluding with a final stop in Cleveland in late April 2026.

Martin and Short were recently at the Emmys this past Sunday, after which they attended The Walt Disney Company’s Emmys bash, where they were pictured alongside Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden.

This is now the second time one of the veteran comics’ contraction of COVID has forced a tour cancellation or rescheduling. Earlier this year, it was Short who contracted COVID after attending the star-studded weekend-long celebration that was SNL50. “Maya [Rudolph] had Covid. Marty has Covid. I wonder why? The SNL 50th Covid curse is real,” Martin wrote on Instagram in February. As a result, The Dukes of Funnytown! moved its Tennessee and North Carolina stops to mid-October.

Martin and Short can currently be seen starring opposite Selena Gomez in Only Murders, the fifth season of which is currently releasing on Hulu weekly.

Pawan Kalyan’s OG: Telangana Govt Approves Whopping Ticket Hike And Special Shows | Glamsham.com

The upcoming gangster action drama They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan, has received a significant boost in Telangana ahead of its release. The state government has officially approved a ticket price hike and permitted an early premiere show, generating excitement and debate across the Telugu states.

As per a government order issued on Friday, a special premiere show is allowed on September 24, a day before the official release. Tickets for this premiere will be priced at ₹800. In contrast, Andhra Pradesh has cleared early shows only from 1 AM on September 25, with ticket prices set at ₹1000 — a move that has sparked dissatisfaction among fans.

From September 25 to October 4, Telangana will see increased ticket prices: single-screen tickets will be ₹100 higher, and multiplex prices will rise by ₹150. This brings average rates to ₹277 for single screens and ₹445 for multiplexes. While fans in Telangana welcomed the decision, social media saw backlash from Andhra Pradesh viewers who called for a more uniform policy across both states.

Directed by Sujeeth, They Call Him OG stars Pawan Kalyan as Ojas Gambheera, a feared gangster operating in Mumbai. The film also features Emraan Hashmi (in his Telugu debut), Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj. Produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment, the film’s music is composed by Thaman S.

The film is already creating waves overseas. In the U.S., advance bookings are strong, with OG outselling Pushpa 2 at Cinemark Dallas. Distributor Prathyangira Cinemas has lined up a massive North American release across 89 Cinemark XD locations — possibly crossing 100, setting a new record for Telugu films abroad.

They Call Him OG hits theatres worldwide on September 25.

Is 'The View' Canceled? Go Behind the 2025 Rumors

Is ‘The View’ Getting Canceled? Update on the Show’s Future – Hollywood Life

by jummy84 September 20, 2025
written by jummy84

Entertainment and news media have seen shocking shake-ups in the past year. From late 2024 into early 2025, major TV anchors and hosts abruptly exited their roles at top networks, while others were cut altogether, including Stephen Colbert. The turbulence only escalated when Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show was suspended after controversial monologue comments.

With so many high-profile changes, viewers are now speculating about who could be next. One show in particular has sparked questions: will ABC’s longtime daytime staple The View be taken off the air?

Below, Hollywood Life has a full breakdown on what’s going on and whether or not The View could be canceled.

The View Current Co-Hosts

Is 'The View' Canceled? Go Behind the 2025 Rumors
Whoopi Goldberg on ‘The View’ (ABC)

Sunny Hostin, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Alyssa Farrah Griffin, Ana Navarro and Sara Haines are the current co-hosts of the daytime TV show. Whoopi is the longest-running co-host of The View, having worked with the show for nearly 20 consecutive seasons.

Is The View Canceled?

No, The View has not been canceled by ABC. Rumors of a cancelation have been spreading all over social media since at least 2024, with many criticizing the show for its political segments. While all co-hosts have criticized Donald Trump and his administration, the most outspoken critic on the show is Whoopi. But Joy managed to poke the bear enough to initiate a response from the White House in July 2025. She joked that Trump is “jealous” of former President Barack Obama.

“Joy Behar is an irrelevant loser suffering from a severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome,” a White House spokesperson told multiple outlets. “It’s no surprise that The View’s ratings hit an all-time low last year. She should self-reflect on her own jealousy of President Trump’s historic popularity before her show is the next to be pulled off-air.”

The View had its highest viewership in about two years back in February 2024, according to The Wrap. At the time, Executive Producer Brian Teta told the publication that the show’s uptick in audience numbers was due, in part, to the guests they’ve invited onto the show in recent years.

“Daytime audiences turn to The View for news and politics, and this presidential election year is off to a great start,” Brian told The Wrap. “We’ve had some tremendous political guests in January including Vice President Kamala Harris, Liz Cheney and Chris Christie and just this week, we welcomed Democratic Leader Hakeem Jefferies. Politicians know that if they want to speak to an engaged audience, there’s no better place to be. There are conversations happening at this table during ‘Hot Topics,’ and with our guests during interviews that aren’t happening anywhere else on television … and we’re also having a lot of fun.”

Canceled News Shows

Toward the end of 2024 and at the start of 2025, a wide array of news shows were axed from their networks. Joy Reid‘s MSNBC show The ReidOut is reportedly being cut from the network. Previously, CBS Evening News‘ Norah O’Donnell, Today’s’s Hoda Kotb, Fox News’ Neil Cavuto and several other anchors stepped down from their positions.

Is Late-Night TV Dying? The State of All Hosts and Shows in 2025 – Hollywood Life

The summer of 2025 became a nightmare for late-night television hosts. CBS made the shocking decision to cancel Stephen Colbert‘s The Late Show. Next was ABC; it suspended Jimmy Kimmel over a Charlie Kirk-related “MAGA” comment. With fictional series like HBO’s Hacks showcasing the pressures of the late-night comedy world, viewers are asking if the long-running staple might be dying in reality. After all, streaming shows and social media have become the norm, so cable networks may be tightening their wallets.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert — Ending

CBS announced in July 2025 that The Late Show with Stephen Colbert will end in May 2026. Network executives cited finances as the reason behind the cancelation.

“We consider Stephen Colbert irreplaceable and will retire The Late Show franchise in May of 2026,” CBS said in a statement. “We are proud that Stephen called CBS home. He and the broadcast will be remembered in the pantheon of greats that graced late night television. This is purely a financial decision against a challenging backdrop in late night. It is not related in any way to the show’s performance, content or other matters happening at Paramount.”

Two months later, Colbert and his staff took home the Emmy Award for best talk series.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! — Suspended

An ABC spokesperson revealed in a brief statement that Jimmy Kimmel Live! “will be pre-empted indefinitely.” The announcement came shortly after the comedian said, “The MAGA Gang (is) desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it. In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”

In response to Kimmel’s comment, Brendan Carr, the head of the Federal Communications Commission, criticized Kimmel on Benny Johnson’s show and threatened to “do this the easy way or the hard way,” according to multiple outlets.

Not a big fan of Jimmy Kimmel, but if you think his show should be canceled for this, you’re a hack and a total fraud who should never pretend to care about free speech pic.twitter.com/FSiktbva6y

— Republicans against Trump (@RpsAgainstTrump) September 17, 2025

“This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way,” Carr said. “Disney needs to see some change here, but the individual licensed stations that are taking their content, it’s time for them to step up and say this, you know, garbage to the extent that that’s what comes down the pipe in the future isn’t something that we think serves the needs of our local communities. … There’s calls for Kimmel to be fired. I think you could certainly see a path forward for suspension over this.”

Nexstar, an ABC-affiliated station, said it would not broadcast Kimmel’s show for the “foreseeable future,” adding that it “strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets.”

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon — Still on the Air

Jimmy Fallon‘s late-night show has not faced an outstanding problem from NBC yet. However, Donald Trump has called for his cancelation in addition to other comedians.

Late Night with Seth Meyers — Still on the Air

Seth Meyers has not had an outward issue with his network, NBC.

After Midnight — Canceled

The CBS Taylor Tomlinson–hosted show ended after two seasons in June 2025. Tomlinson chose to resume her stand-up career after leaving the show on her own accord.

Real Time with Bill Maher — Still on the Air

HBO’s Bill Maher has not publicly stated any imminent doom with his show.

Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen — Still on the Air

Andy Cohen has not cited any pending problems with his network, Bravo, an NBCU network.

Last Week Tonight with Jon Oliver — Still on the Air

Jon Oliver is still on the air with his network, HBO.

Gutfeld! — Still on the Air

Greg Gutfeld still hosts his show on the Fox News Channel.

EXCLUSIVE: Traitors’ Fame Sufi Motiwala Comments On People Claiming Reality Shows Are ScriptedEXCLUSIVE: Traitors’ Fame Sufi Motiwala Comments On People Claiming Reality Shows Are Scripted; States, “Koi Aake Yeh Nahi Bolta Gaali Do”

Sufi Motiwala’s journey took a bold step forward with his appearance in the debut show Traitors, where he showcased his dynamic personality and creative flair. Since then, he has continued to build his voice as a critic and creator in the fashion space. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble, Sufi opened up about why he signed ‘Traitors’ and shared with us something that nobody knows about reality shows.

Talking about why he signed a reality show, Sufi said, “When you sign a reality show, you have to do it with the awareness that the whole point is for people to talk about you. That’s why I find it very duplicitous when people sign projects, go through with them, and then later behave like victims — blaming it on the edit and whatnot. I think that’s just bogus.”

He continued, “The reason I signed a reality show was because I wanted people to watch me, talk about me, follow me, and get in tune with my journey. Otherwise, why the hell would you even sign it? That’s just part of the process, and you have to live it. The key to a reality show is to live it — the friendships you make, the enemies you make, everything. You just have to see it through, and eventually, it all fades away. Honestly, I don’t think people even remember anything in the long run.”

When asked about what is the one thing that people don’t know about reality shows, Sufi replied, “On reality shows, people always keep claiming “scripted, scripted, scripted,” just because the show follows a certain plotline. But here’s the thing, most captivating reality shows cannot be scripted, because they are controlled. There’s a difference between being scripted and being controlled. “

He went on to explain further by saying, “Controlled meaning ki uss ghar mein voh aise situations create karte karte hai, aise haalat create karte hai, aise statements bulwaate hai jisse bhasad mache ya reaction mile ya plot aage badhe. but whatever people are doing, they’re doing out of their own volition, their own thinking, their own zubaan, that’s all them. “

Sufi ends it by saying, “Koi aake yeh nahi bol raha ki isko gaali do, show pe sab jo bhi kar rhe hai khudh hi se kar rhe hai, bas situations production create kar raha hai”

Jimmy Kimmel is suspended from future broadcasts of his late-night comedy show “indefinitely, according to a statement from ABC. Just two months after Stephen Colbert‘s CBS show was axed, Kimmel’s was pulled off the air after the comedian made a comment related to Charlie Kirk‘s death and his suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson. Naturally, viewers wondered if the on-air suspension indicates a termination. So, is Jimmy Kimmel Live! canceled?

“Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be pre-empted indefinitely,” an ABC spokesperson said in a statement. According to CNN, the rep did not share further details. Kimmel has yet to publicly comment on ABC’s decision to yank his show off the air.

Below, get updates on the status of Kimmel’s comedy show.

Was Jimmy Kimmel Fired?

No, Kimmel was not fired by ABC, though he has been suspended until further notice.

Why Was Jimmy Kimmel Suspended?

ABC declined to elaborate on Kimmel’s suspension, but ABC affiliate Nexstar said it would not broadcast Jimmy Kimmel Live! for the “foreseeable future,” adding that it “strongly objects to recent comments made by Mr. Kimmel concerning the killing of Charlie Kirk and will replace the show with other programming in its ABC-affiliated markets.”

Brendan Carr, the head of the Federal Communications Commission, criticized Kimmel’s comments related to Kirk’s shooting. Carr appeared on Benny Johnson’s show and said, “This is a very, very serious issue right now for Disney. We can do this the easy way or the hard way. What Did Jimmy Kimmel Say About Charlie Kirk?

Kimmel condemned political violence and sent his condolences to Kirk’s family after the late Turning Point USA founder’s death was confirmed on September 10, 2025.

“Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human?” Kimmel wrote via Instagram. “On behalf of my family, we send love to the Kirks and to all the children, parents and innocents who fall victim to senseless gun violence.”

What Did Jimmy Kimmel Say About Tyler Robinson?

Kimmel referred to the “MAGA gang” while discussing Robinson, Kirk’s suspected shooter.

“The MAGA Gang (is) desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said during an episode of his show. “In between the finger-pointing, there was grieving.”

The comedian also showed Donald Trump‘s response to a reporter when asked how he was mourning Kirk.

“I think very good, and by the way, right there — do you see all the trucks?” the president asked, before adding, “They just started construction for the new ballroom for the White House, which is something they’ve been trying to get as, you know, for about 150 years. And it’s gonna be a beauty.”

Will Jimmy Kimmel Live! Be Canceled?

At the time of publication, there is no set air date for Kimmel’s return. However, ABC has not canceled his show altogether.

Reports suggest that Kimmel might walk away from ABC, though. Daily Mail reported that he’s “actively looking for ways to get out of his contract.”

Refused Forming New Band With Same Members After Last Shows

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

After their final shows as a unit in December. the four members of Refused will all remain together in a brand new band. Drummer David Sandström broke the news on Instagram while announcing details of their last gigs in their native Sweden before the end of the year.

“We ([guitarist] Mattias [Bärjed], [bassist] Magnus [Flagge], [vocalist] Dennis [Lyxzen] and me) want to explore that — a band with no baggage, no fans to please, limited only by our wildest musical hopes and dreams,” he said without elaborating on the project’s name or specific timeline. “We’re very excited about getting around to taming this new wild beast.”

Addressing why they couldn’t just carry on as Refused, Sandström admitted, “Refused was never good for mine and Dennis’ relationship. We both have our own idea of what the band should be and how we should behave and never the twain shall meet. And we’d rather be friends than play in a popular band.”

As they near the conclusion of their farewell tour, which resumes Oct. 1 in Glasgow, Refused have also set the lineups for the last eight gigs in Sweden, which will boast some of their oldest friends from the global hardcore scene as openers. Among them are Harrowed, Division of Laura Lee, Millencolin, Abhinanda, Final Exit, Nix and Dream Warriors.

“We’re bringing Youth Code over from L.A. to join us, a band we love both artistically and socially,” Sandström said. “Whenever i want listen to some really intense, violent new hardcore I always end up listening to Youth Code instead, and I can’t think of a band that better embodies the maelstrom of hatred and insanity that is presently consuming the U.S.”

He continued, “you have a pretty glorious marriage of old and new, of underground and established, of traditionalists and risk-takers, and nothing could sum up our band more than this amazing catalog of bands. This is going to be an absolute blast of a finale.”

Refused formed in 1991 and split following their landmark 1998 album The Shape of Punk to Come, but they reunited in 2012 and have been active in the studio and on the road ever since. Lyxzen suffered a heart attack in June 2024 but recovered sufficiently for Refused to begin touring again earlier this year.

“A few people have insinuated that like some other bands who, in the fashion of the great Larry David, quit with bells, whistles (and blood raining from a lacerating sky) only to return within a few years as if nothing had happened, Refused would do the same. Well, we won’t, and I feel the need to elucidate,” Sandström said. “We only broke up once and it was involuntary. Most of you might not remember but at the end of our reunion year [in] 2012, we kept things ambiguous in our final statement (‘The hatchet is buried … we’re going home’) for plausible deniability, because we weren’t sure our attempt at a permanent reunion would fly. It did, but only so far.”
