When questioned about his views on Gaurav Khanna and his game on the show, he said, “Mastermind toh hai woh. Mastermind bhi tha, manipulator bhi tha. Mere saath zyaada ladta nahi tha. Mere saath jitni baat karni hoti thi utni hi karta tha.”

Although their friendship was briefly strained during a crucial captaincy task, where Gaurav used his special power to make himself captain and nominate others instead of choosing Shehbaz and securing full ration for the house, their bond remained largely unaffected.

Last Weekend Ka Vaar, after Gaurav Khanna pointed out how Shehbaz Badesha has been playing it safe as he hasn’t been nominated so far, Shehbaz got angry and claimed that even if he gets nominated, late Sidharth Shukla’s fans would save him. This angered the internet. Now, this Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman bashed Shehbaz for his comment and warned him to pick up the pace in the game.

Salman called Shehbaz for taking Sidharth’s name in the show and said, “Aap bade confident hain ki Sidharth Shukla ke fans aapko support karenge. Shehbaz, main aapko yeh baat btaana chahta hoon, Sidharth ne jo bhi kiya hai show mein, aapne dum par kiya hai. Usne kisi ka naam nahi uchala hai aur aapka game, uske game ke 1% bhi barabar nahi hai. So do you really think Sidharth’s fans will support someone whose game isn’t even close to 1% of his? Do you think that Sidharth Shukla — God bless his soul, would have supported you, seeing the way you’re playing this game? (You seem quite confident that Sidharth Shukla’s fans will support you. Shehbaz, I want to tell you this — whatever Sidharth did on the show, he did it on his own merit. He never took anyone’s name for support, and your game isn’t even 1% of his).”

He added, “And you also said that you know me very well — I heard you say that too. When did that happen? I’ve only met you once or twice in my life, that too during shoots. You’re funny, you have a good sense of humour, so use it properly and don’t go below the belt. You’ve had many genuinely funny moments, but has the box of jokes you came with run out? I told you not to irritate and not to go below the belt, I never said to stop doing comedy.”

Shehbaz Badesha is Shehnaaz Gill’s brother. He appeared in Bigg Boss 13 during the family week to support Shehnaaz, and his short stint filled with humour had impressed fans at the time. Sidharth and Shehnaaz met each other in Bigg Boss and fell in love. Their bond on the show was loved by the audience, who gave them the hashtag SidNaaz. While they continued to be together outside the show, Sidharth died of a heart attack in 2021. His untimely death shocked not only Shehnaaz and his family but also his fans. Later, Shehbaz got a tattoo of Sidharth on his arm. While some trolled him for trying to gain attention, others felt it was a sweet gesture.

Shehnaaz Gill has come out in strong support of her brother Shehbaaz Badesha, who is currently a contestant on Bigg Boss 19. In a recent interview with Zoom, the actress-singer opened up about her brother’s journey on the show and addressed comments about him being “financially dependent” on her.

Shehnaaz clarified that before Shehbaaz entered the Bigg Boss house, she had already warned him about the kind of taunts he might face. “When he was about to go inside, I told him to be ready because people would say he lives off his sister. His entry was also scripted differently — they wanted me to say certain lines, but I refused because I didn’t want him to be disrespected,” she explained. She added that while the introduction was meant to be humorous, viewers misunderstood it and took it seriously.

Reacting to Shehbaaz admitting on the show that he depends on her financially, Shehnaaz said there’s much more to their relationship than people see. “He has done so much for me. When I was in Bigg Boss, he handled everything for me — from management to decision-making. He even guided me about who was genuine and who wasn’t, and he was always right,” she said, praising her brother’s maturity and support.

Talking about his gameplay, Shehnaaz noted that Shehbaaz is being authentic in the Bigg Boss house. “He’s just being himself, but people can’t handle that. From the beginning, they’ve been comparing him to me and saying he doesn’t deserve to be there,” she said. Shehnaaz added that while her brother’s humor is genuine, some contestants have misunderstood his intentions.

The actress concluded by saying she is proud of Shehbaaz for staying true to himself despite criticism, and she continues to support him wholeheartedly from outside the house.

Bigg Boss 13 fame and actor-singer Shehnaaz Gill’s brother, Shehbaz Badesha, entered the Bigg Boss 19 house as a wildcard contestant in the third week of the show. Since then, he has managed to avoid being nominated for elimination even once, a fact that was also highlighted in this Weekend Ka Vaar. However, later, he was seen boasting that he had the support of the late Sidharth Shukla’s fans.

During Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan asked actor Gaurav Khanna to share his assessment of other housemates. While talking about Shehbaz, Gaurav mentioned that he had been playing a good game since he managed to avoid nomination even once since entering the house. Later, when Salman left the housemates to reflect on his advice, Shehbaz appeared visibly angered by Gaurav’s comments.

He said, “Main bhi ek baar nominations main aakar dekhna chahta hoon, kya hota hai mere saath. Hain, bethe hai fir Sidharth Shukla ke fans bhi mere saath. Jo winner hai naa iss show ka, uski fan following bethi hai mere saath (Even I want to see what happens with me when I get nominated. Sidharth Shukla’s fans are with me. The winner of this show has a fan following that supports me).”

The internet was irked by Shehbaz using the late actor Sidharth’s name to gain sympathy. One of the comments read, “WHATTT? Is that what he’s thinking? None of Sidharth Shukla’s fans is supporting him. I think he needs a reality check.” Another wrote, “Yeh itna confident i mean delusional kaise hai? (How is he so confident, I mean delusional).”

Another commented, “What an opportunist!! On what basis do you wanna get support from Sidharth fans?? because he was his sister’s boyfriend??!! Why do u wanna use fans of a person who is no more in this world! You are just using his name for clout!!” Another wrote, “GK was friends with Sid, but he never mentioned him to gain support from Sid fans, but this lowlife parasite is disgusting.”

What’s the connection between Shehbaz Badesha and Sidharth Shukla?

Shehbaz is Shehnaaz Gill’s brother. Sidharth and Shehnaaz met during their stint in Salman Khan’s reality show, Bigg Boss 13. The two fell in love, and fans adored their on-screen chemistry. Even after leaving the house, Shehnaaz and Sidharth were often seen together, whether in music videos or on television shows.

However, in 2021, Sidharth tragically passed away from a heart attack at the age of 40. Shehnaaz was heartbroken during his funeral and later even composed a song in his memory. Subsequently, Shehbaz got Sidharth’s face tattooed on his arm, for which he was criticised by a section of society.

At present, Shehbaz is emerging as one of the most irritating contestants in the Bigg Boss 19 house. His attempts to add humour and drama are being criticised on social media.

Meanwhile, in tonight’s episode, Salman Khan will announce the names of contestants who will be eliminated from the house. While reports suggest that Nehal Chudasama and Baseer Ali are likely to be evicted, confirmation will come in today’s episode. Farhana slams Shehbaz, saying, “You’ve fallen so low, so mean.” In response, Shehbaz lies down dramatically on the floor, prompting singer Amaal Malik to burst into laughter.

The last Weekend Ka Vaar episode featured celebrity guests Jamie Lever and Ravi Gupta, who brought laughter to the house with their comic acts.
