On April Fool’s Day, Skrillex surprise-released his album Fuck U Skrillex You Think Ur Andy Warhol But Ur Not!! , which recently earned him Grammy nominations for Best Dance/Electronic Album and Best Dance/Electronic Recording (for “Voltage”). He dropped a new single called “Fuze” with ISOxo last month, and today he’s got another new one. Enticingly, the hyperactive and high-octane “hit me where it hurts” pairs our boy Sonny with longtime collaborator Dylan Brady (also of 100 Gecs fame) and none other than Caroline Polachek, whose vocals from Pang track “Hit Me Where It Hurts” are threaded throughout. Usually Konradsen songs feature one impossibly gorgeous voice: that of Jenny Marie Sabel, who gently coos and murmurs her way through the Norwegian band’s music as if offering a comforting hand. Their new one has two such voices. “Nick Of Time,” a new one-off Konradsen single today, is a collaboration with Chicago’s Gia Margaret, who harmonizes with Sabel while also contributing piano and synth to the arrangement.
On Instagram, Konradsen write:
A fun childhood memory is getting online friends, like cyber bff @giamargaret has been since 2019. Our new song Nick of Time is a result of bouncing stuff between Norway and Chicago during the past year. So much better than nudging on msn.

More than half a century after forming, roots-rock stalwarts Little Feat have announced the start of their final tour. The Last Farewell Tour kicks off in April with shows across the southern United States, though the band have confirmed a global tour to follow. Scroll down to see Little Feat’s full list of tour dates.
“Playing is the joy and satisfaction of touring, but it comes with the hard part—travel, the endless miles on a bus,” Little Feat shared in a statement. “It’s definitely not an absolute, never-gonna-play again statement. This wind-down will take several years to accomplish, and while it does, Feat will continue to perform and record as long as they are able. It’s a retirement from the travel of touring.”
The Last Farewell Tour’s lineup will feature founding keyboardist Bill Payne alongside guitarists Fred Tackett and Scott Sharrard, bassist Kenny Gradney, percussionist Sam Clayton, and drummer Tony Leone. Paul Barrere, the band’s longtime guitarist and singer, died in 2019.
Little Feat shared their latest album, Strike Up the Band, earlier this year. Alongside the tour announcement, they’ve shared “Feathers and a Smile,” a song written by the band’s late co-founder Lowell George and sung by his daughter, Inara George. Listen to it below.

Dry Cleaning have shared the second single from Secret Love, their upcoming album due out January 9 via 4AD. The London post-punk band returns with “Cruise Ship Designer” and its accompanying music video, directed by Cuán Roche. In the clip, bassist Lewis Maynard performs a dance routine—specifically choreographed for the song by Bullyache—in sparkly leggings in front of a dark curtain. Watch the new video below.
Singer Florence Shaw explained the backstory of their track in a statement: “The song is about a cruise ship and hotel designer who’s skilled and paid well, but who doesn’t believe his role has real worth,” she said. “He tries to enjoy it, and invests himself in meeting the challenges of the job.”
Secret Love is Dry Cleaning’s third studio album, following 2023’s Stumpwork. They worked on the 11-track LP at Jeff Tweedy’s Chicago studio, the Loft; at Dublin’s Sonic Studios with Gilla Band’s Alan Duggan and Daniel Fox; and eventually at France’s remote Black Box where Le Bon recorded their album.
Dry Cleaning wrapped up their recent tour, but they still have plenty of live shows on the books for next year, beginning with Rockaway Beach Festival in England on January 3. From there, Dry Cleaning’s 2026 tour heads to the United States, Canada, and many major cities in Europe.

Daft Punk have shared a new official video for ‘Contact’, inspired by Fortnite. Check it out below.
The song is the closing number of the French electronic duo’s fourth and final studio album, ‘Random Access Memories’, which was released in 2013 ahead of their split in 2021.
‘Contact’ now soundtracks some cinematic, sci-fi-themed visuals, following the launch of ‘The Daft Punk Experience’ on Fortnite in September.
The clip was created by Fortnite developer/publisher Epic Games and Magnopus, and begins with Daft Punk floating in space above the Earth. ‘Contact’ opens with an audio snippet from the Apollo 17 mission in 1972, used courtesy of NASA and Capt. Eugene Cernan.
From there, the epic new video sees the iconic robots on a dizzying, extraterrestrial mission as they speed through space towards a flashing signal. Watch it all unfold here:
Polygon reports that studio Magnopus consulted Daft Life – the company that acts on behalf of Daft Punk – to produce the music video, and ensure that it aligned with their “creative vision”.
Magnopus explained: “‘The Daft Punk Experience’ is a sonic and visual voyage through the minds of one of the most iconic and inspiring acts of the last 30 years. We brought it to life with multiple themed rooms, where players could remix music, battle robots, create a LEGO music video, and dance ‘til dawn.
“Building on that world, we took the opening sequence from the game and transformed it into a new music video for ‘Contact’ – the final track from Daft Punk’s final album, ‘Random Access Memories’.

‘The Daft Punk Experience’ provides an immersive world that allows Fortnite players to explore 31 songs from across the group’s catalogue, while there will also be custom outfits, all-night dance parties and opportunities to remix and mashup Daft Punk songs.
Additionally, there are custom outfits, all-night dance parties and opportunities to remix and mashup tracks by Daft Punk through the game. There is also a virtual concert, featuring moments from their celebrated ‘Alive 2007’ live album.
Following its release, Daft Punk fans praised the new experience for Fortnite, with some calling it “absolutely incredible”.
In early 2024, a former session drummer for Daft Punk confirmed the existence of a lost album, claiming that “it’s coming out [of] the locker”.

Is Shah Rukh Khan The Real Villain Of Bollywood? Costars Share Their Thoughts! | Glamsham.com
by jummy84
written by jummy84
Nearly three decades since its release, Shah Rukh Khan’s legendary character Raj Malhotra from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (DDLJ) is still setting the standard for romance through generations. The 1995 blockbuster not only established SRK as the King of Romance but also emerged as one of the most endearing films in Indian cinema history. But not everybody considers Raj to be the ideal hero — his co-stars Parmeet Sethi and Manoj Bajpayee recently provided a witty and surprising spin on the action, labeling Shah Rukh’s characters as the “villain” of their respective movies.
In an open chat with Pinkvilla, actor Parmeet Sethi, who portrayed Kuljit Singh, Simran’s (Kajol’s) fiancé in DDLJ, provided his unvarnished opinion. “In DDLJ, Kuljit didn’t do anything wrong,” he stated. “Shah Rukh’s Raj shows up and steals my bride. I didn’t go to steal anyone’s bride.” His take gives a humorously layered spin to the film, presenting Raj’s dramatic romantic move from the vantage point of a suitor to be thwarted — one in which Kuljit is merely an aggrieved man who has lost out on love.”.
Likewise, Manoj Bajpayee, who co-starred with Shah Rukh Khan in Veer Zaara (2004), expressed a similar opinion regarding his character Raza. Referring to an interview from the past, he clarified, “The proposal is already made, but my fiancée is flirting with someone else. So, Shah Rukh for me was the villain in this tale, but all the ire was for me instead.”
Bajpayee continued to discuss his method of acting, stating, “When I get a role, I think from the character’s point of view. Then I will be able to make it real. That’s how my thinking was in approaching the role. Shah Rukh, for me, was the villain.” His observation reminds us that perspective is what makes storytelling work — what readers see as romance may, from a different perspective, resemble betrayal or heartbreak.
Despite these tongue-in-cheek observations, there’s no denying the enduring magic of DDLJ. The film continues to play daily at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir theatre and remains a cultural touchstone for lovers of Hindi cinema. Shah Rukh Khan’s Raj and Kajol’s Simran still embody the fantasy of love that defies all odds.

Although Parmeet Sethi and Manoj Bajpayee’s witty remarks provide a fresh perspective on SRK’s greatest romantic roles, fans remain fond of him as the eternally romantic hero who redefined what it takes to win hearts — even at the cost of breaking a few in the bargain.
After a happy Diwali filled with bright lights, tasty sweets, and lively celebrations, you may feel a post-Diwali slump. This may be marked by a little bloating, irritability, tiredness, or just low energy levels. Our routines tend to get out of sync, and when we combine rich foods with a little too much celebration, we may not feel our best. Let’s look at what causes this slump and helpful tips from health experts to help you recover quickly.
Is the post-Diwali slump real?
Dr Vimal Pahuja, an internal medicine and metabolic physician at Dr LH Hiranandani Hospital, tells Health Shots, “The ‘post-Diwali slump’ results from various factors. After days of poor sleep, overeating sugary sweets, and irregular meals, our bodies can experience problems. These issues include high blood sugar, gut health issues, and dehydration. As a result, people often feel tired, irritable, bloated, and low in energy.”
5 tips to give your body rest
After the celebrations, there are simple ways to restore balance and boost your energy. Let’s look at some expert tips below:
1. Reboot with hydration and micronutrients
To start your recovery, focus on staying hydrated. Begin your day with natural drinks like lemon water, coconut water, or buttermilk, which help cleanse your body. Dr Pahuja suggests avoiding sugary tea or coffee in the morning. Instead, try light meals high in fibre, such as millets, lentils, vegetables, and seasonal fruits. To reduce fatigue and balance electrolytes, add foods rich in magnesium and potassium, like spinach, bananas, and buttermilk, to your meals. Dr Pahuja advises “against reheating holiday leftovers. Eating fresh meals will better nourish your gut and help keep your energy levels steady.”
2. Reset your body clock
To overcome exhaustion, it helps to reset your body’s internal clock. A simple and effective way to do this is to let in natural light in the morning. Dr Pahuja suggests “spending 10 to 15 minutes in the sunlight each day. This practice refreshes your circadian rhythm, lowers cortisol (the stress hormone), and increases serotonin, which can improve your focus and alertness.” Additionally, try a ‘digital detox’ before bed. Setting a consistent sleep and meal schedule can reinforce your natural energy rhythms, promoting better rest and rejuvenation.
3. Aid metabolic recovery
After enjoying holiday treats, you might be tempted to try a detox diet. Still, Dr Pahuja recommends “against extreme cleanses or skipping meals. Instead, focus on a balanced three-day meal plan.” Include lean proteins like pulses, eggs, or fish, along with vegetables and small portions of complex carbohydrates, such as quinoa or brown rice. “Consistent, nourishing meals stabilise blood sugar and help prevent cravings that often follow festive eating,” he shares. It’s best to steer clear of added sugars and ultra-processed foods, and to eat regularly to maintain your metabolism and energy levels.
4. Get moving gently but consistently
Physical activity is one of the best ways to lift your spirits after a festival. Dr Preeti Chhabria, Internal Medicine and General Medicine at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, tells Health Shots: “Just 20 minutes of movement each day can improve your mood by releasing endorphins. These natural hormones make you feel good. Low-impact activities like brisk walking, yoga, or stretching can improve blood flow, increase insulin sensitivity, and reduce bloating. Specific yoga poses and breathing exercises are also helpful in supporting gut health and calming your mind.”
5. Recharge mentally and emotionally
Don’t overlook the emotional side of feeling down after a festival. After the excitement of Diwali, returning to everyday life can feel hard. Dr Chhabria suggests “staying in touch with friends and family, even with a quick call or text, to help with feelings of loneliness. Try mindfulness practices or keep a gratitude journal.” Thinking about happy moments and the people you celebrated with can help shift your focus from tiredness to thankfulness. This emotional reset is important as we look forward to the upcoming holidays.
Takeaway
- Hydrate wisely: Start with natural beverages like lemon water or coconut water, and focus on fresh, nutrient-dense meals.
- Reestablish routine: Get your daily dose of morning sunlight, and adhere to consistent sleep and meal schedules.
- Balanced Nutrition: Instead of detox diets, maintain a wholesome three-day meal plan that prioritises protein and complex carbs.
- Stay active: Commit to gentle physical activities to boost mood and energy.
- Emotional wellness: Keep in touch with loved ones and practice gratitude to enhance your mental state.
