‘Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City’ Star Jen Shah Gets Early Prison Release Date After Serving 33 Months

by jummy84 November 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Jen Shah is getting out of prison earlier than expected after the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City alum got her sentence reduced again.

The former Bravo star was sentenced to 78 months in prison after being found guilty of her involvement in a telemarketing fraud scheme that conned people (mostly elders) out of their money.

Shah’s release date had been altered numerous times since her imprisonment, and the latest date, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, was set for August 30, 2026. However, People is now reporting that the BOP has approved a December 10 departure for the former RHOSLC star.

By the time Shah is released from prison, she will have served 33 months behind bars — 45 months less than her sentence.

Before surrendering to prison in February 2023, Shah posted a statement on social media: “I am surrendering to serve a sentence in a federal prison today. It is the price I must pay for the bad decisions I made. People got hurt because of my decisions. While incarcerated, I will work to make amends and reconcile with the victims of my crime.”

Shah’s trouble with the law was chronicled on Bravo’s RHOSLC as cameras captured the moment the reality star was notified that authorities were looking for her. Law enforcement arrived at the filming location, but Shah left the scene and later that day surrendered to authorities. Shah was arrested and indicted on wire fraud and money laundering charges in connection with a telemarketing scheme in which she found herself involved.

Diddy Has Been Hired To Work In Chapel While Serving Prison Sentence

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

Update: 6:55 p.m. ET (November 11, 2025) – Sean “Diddy” Combs’ publicist, Juda Engelmayer, refutes allegations of prison records or documents detailing Combs’ alleged infractions in response to VIBE’s initial report. “There are, in fact no prison records, it is a rumor from a supposed media source,” Engelmayer wrote in a statement to VIBE. “No one with any authority has said anything of the kind.”

Original story below..

Sean “Diddy” Combs has landed one of the most desirable positions an inmate can hold at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution — serving as a chaplain’s assistant in the prison chapel.

According to documents obtained by CBS News, Combs will now work in an air-conditioned, private office with possible access to food brought in from outside the prison by chaplains.

The position, often considered one of the most coveted by inmates, also comes with a unique privilege: the ability to add inmates’ names to the facility’s “call-out” list.

That list determines who is permitted to leave their cells for religious services, medical appointments, or other sanctioned activities — a power that gives the chapel staff a degree of influence rare within prison walls.

Combs’ publicist, Juda Engelmayer, told CBS News, “He works in the chapel library, where he describes the environment as warm, respectful, and rewarding.”

The chapel itself is one of the few spaces in the prison where inmates can congregate freely, and the job is viewed as both comfortable and prestigious compared to standard labor assignments.

The 56-year-old music mogul was transferred to Fort Dix on Oct. 30 after being sentenced to more than four years on prostitution-related charges. His appointment to the chapel role comes amid ongoing scrutiny of his behavior since his arrival.

Per CBS News, the obtained records allege Combs recently broke multiple rules, including making an unauthorized phone call in which he reportedly asked a woman — whom he identified as his attorney — to bring him $200 in single dollar bills to the prison. Inmates can only buy items from convenience machines using coins. It’s unclear in what manner Combs planned to use the money requested.

Officials say he also participated in a three-way call with another man described as his “head of legal communications,” a violation of prison policy.

Engelmayer defended the communication, saying, “It was a procedural call initiated by one of his attorneys and was protected under attorney client privilege. There was nothing improper.”

Combs has further been accused of possessing “hooch,” a homemade prison wine created by fermenting sugar, fruit, and water. However, in a since-deleted post on his X (formerly Twitter) account, a representative for Diddy denied the claims.

“The rumors claiming Mr. Combs was caught with alcohol are completely false. His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family.”

Prison officials recommended Combs lose 90 days of phone privileges and 90 days of commissary access for the documented phone infraction — a ruling filed on Nov. 4, his 56th birthday

Sir Paul McCartney blasts COP30 climate change conference for serving meat

Sir Paul McCartney has urged COP30 organisers not to serve meat at the climate change conference.

Sir Paul McCartney has questioned the decision to serve meat at the COP30 climate change conference

The Beatles legend – a prominent vegetarian and animal rights activist – has written an open letter on behalf of animal rights group PETA to COP30 President Andre Correa do Lago about the decision to serve meat to guests at the event – which begins next week in Belem, Brazil.

McCartney penned: “I’m writing on behalf of my friends at PETA to ask you to align COP30’s menu with its mission by making it all vegetarian. This would greatly reduce its carbon footprint and overall environmental impact, setting a positive example for the world to follow.”

The 83-year-old musician was shocked by the lack of vegetarian options for guests, particularly with the grave threat that climate change poses to Brazil and the Amazon Rainforest.

The Let It Be artist said: “It is fitting that COP30 will be held in Belem, the gateway to the Amazon, whose rainforest is often called ‘the lungs of the Earth’ because it absorbs and stores massive amounts of carbon dioxide while releasing oxygen.

“Protecting the life-sustaining Amazon must be a top priority for environmentalists of all nationalities, so I was shocked to learn that only 40 per cent of the food served at COP30 is currently slated to be vegetarian.”

Paul couldn’t help but point out the irony of serving meat at an event designed to help the environment.

He quipped: “Serving meat at a climate summit is like handing out cigarettes at a cancer-prevention conference! The animal agriculture industry is a top driver of deforestation and the climate catastrophe that is wreaking havoc on the planet.”

McCartney concluded: “COP30’s own website confirms that plant-based meals have a substantially lower carbon footprint, so I urge you to lead by example and make the conference all vegetarian.”

Paul and his late wife Linda McCartney became vegetarians in 1975 and the music icon is proud to have been a pioneer of a diet that is now adopted by millions of people worldwide.

He said: “It was a joint decision, definitely. We were both quite happy eating meat, because she was a great cook, and we didn’t really think about it until we were on the farm one day eating a lamb dinner and both realised that the lambs outside were what we were eating. We didn’t like that.

“We said, ‘Shall we try going vegetarian?’ And actually, it was a very exciting point in our lives, trying to think of what we would have to fill the hole in the middle of the plate.

“Now of course, it’s really not difficult at all. You just go down the shops and most places will have great veggie options. It was a joint decision and we never looked back. It was a great thing to do, and it turned out we became part of a vegetarian revolution.”

Rapper Hoodrich Pablo Juan Released From Georgia Prison After Serving Time on RICO Charge

Hoodrich Pablo Juan is officially a free man.

The Georgia rapper, born Sterling Leroy Pennix Jr., was released from a Georgia state prison on Oct. 19, where he had been serving time for violating the state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act. Footage shared online shows the rapper smiling and embracing supporters shortly after his release.

Back in 2022, Hoodrich Pablo Juan accepted a plea deal that resulted in a 15-year sentence, with five years to serve and the remaining time under strict probation. He was also ordered to pay a $2,000 fine.

The artist was initially among 46 alleged co-conspirators indicted in October 2020 on sweeping gang-related charges. The group collectively faced 92 RICO counts, 59 gang-terrorism violations, multiple drug-trafficking charges, and several counts of aggravated assault, kidnapping, and murder.

According to prosecutors, Juan was accused of being affiliated with the Rollin’ 20s Neighborhood Bloods. Under the terms of his probation, he is prohibited from associating with any gang members or possessing weapons.

While incarcerated, Juan continued to voice support for fellow rapper Young Thug, who remains entangled in his own YSL RICO case. In a 2023 message from prison, he said:

“We do this sht for the hood, we from the hood, we still in the hood. Y’all know what the f** going on. Free Slime, man. Keep all the rats, free all the real n*s. Y’all know what the f going on man, we never letting up.” No further details about his release have been shared.

9 Cuban-American-Owned Brands Serving Beauty, Style & Culture

I grew up in Union City, New Jersey, which sometimes gets referred to as “Little Havana on the Hudson.” It’s home to one of the biggest Cuban communities outside of Miami, thanks to waves of Cuban immigrants who settled there over the decades. Walking around, you see it in restaurants like Dos Amigos (where the only thing on the menu is a pan con bistec), the way the Cuban flag flies right below the U.S. one around town, and in the Celia Cruz Plaza on 32nd street. So it’s no wonder that anytime I go home, I have to grab a Cuban sandwich, Cuban links have always been part of my necklace stack, and even my Colombian dad will casually drop an “asere” around his coworkers.
That magnetism is what makes Cuban culture so distinct. With about 1.5 million Cuban Americans across the U.S., their culture quietly (or not so quietly) influences what we see, wear, and experience every day. If you’re looking to support Cuban fashion, try mojo-inspired sauces, or discover more Cuban American-owned businesses worth backing, here are some you should definitely check out.

Clandestina emerged from Havana’s creative underground, blending Cuban humor, tropical vibes, and a commitment to sustainable fashion. Since 2015, the brand has filled a gap showcasing the resilience and everyday joy of Cuba through clothing designed to uplift both community and the planet.

Born from a rich family legacy in men’s sportswear, Cubavera was launched in 2000 by Cuban-born George Feldenkris and his team to celebrate Latine culture through clothing. Taking inspiration from the traditional guayabera, the brand reimagines this iconic style with modern fabrics and designs.
