The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders are always ready for some football, but the gig of a lifetime is also not the main event as far as income goes.

ESPN reported in 2017 that NFL team cheerleaders made roughly $75 to $150 per game, an eye-opening moment for fans who assumed those glamorous performers were making bank. Or at least a living wage.

As seen in the first season of America’s Sweethearts, DCC alum Kelcey Wetterberg is a pediatric registered nurse, while then-newcomer Reece Allman (née Weaver), who returned for the 2024 season, worked at a Dallas florist to supplement her earnings from cheerleading.

According to the Dallas Morning News, cheerleader pay has since risen to closer to $400 per game, plus hourly wages for all the time spent preparing for games and making appearances.

Still, DCC alum Kat Puryear said on the Netflix show, “I would say I’m making, like, a substitute teacher [salary]…I would say I’m making, like, Chick-fil-A worker that works full-time” money.

Sunscreen is non-negotiable for Harnaaz Sandhu, and she kickstarts her day with water and a pinch of salt. When it comes to getting that radiant glow, she swears by icing her skin before makeup — and says it’s a game-changer. But according to her, it is a ‘genuine smile’ that is her ultimate beauty hack.

She said, “I’ve always believed beauty starts with self-care. My go-to ritual is very simple – to cleanse, hydrate, and protect. I never skip sunscreen, and I swear by drinking plenty of water with a pinch of salt to start my day. A beauty hack I carry everywhere in the world is using ice cubes on my skin before makeup; it instantly refreshes and gives that natural glow. And, of course, a genuine smile.”

Harnaaz Sandhu’s weight loss transformation has been quite impressive. After winning Miss Universe in 2021, she faced online criticism for her weight gain due to celiac disease, an autoimmune condition that made her body react negatively to gluten.

In the new Femina interview, Harnaaz highlighted how she underwent rigorous training in mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and weapons handling as part of her fitness routine for Baaghi 4.

She said, “When I signed Baaghi 4, I knew I had to bring both beauty and strength to the screen. I trained for months in mixed martial arts, kickboxing, and basic weapons handling. It wasn’t just about learning the moves; it was about building stamina, agility, and the right mental discipline. My coaches really pushed me to move like a fighter but with the grace and poise that comes naturally to me. It was the perfect fusion of my pageant discipline and an action star’s athleticism.”

Snack time! Mother-daughter duo Val and Breezy Griffith founded SkinnyDipped to create better-for-you treats that don’t skimp on indulgence — and they’ve already won over fans like Kim and Kourtney Kardashian, Olivia Munn, Chace Crawford, Camila Mendes, Mark Wahlberg, and Tyler Cameron.

“Food has always been my love language. … It brings people together. … A delicious meal or snack becomes the centerpiece of conversation and laughter, whether at a family gathering, or just a moment shared between friends,” Val tells ET. 

With that philosophy in mind, the two set out to spread joy far and wide through noshing.

SkinnyDipped

“Our snacks are thinly, or skinny, dipped. … We wanted to offer the perfect balance of healthy and delicious, plus sweet and salty,” she adds.

It’s no wonder why their whole roasted almonds and cashews dipped in chocolate or yogurt, and peanut butter cups made with real peanut butter and caramel, have earned A-list approval. 

“They satisfy cravings without the guilt. … We focus on eating real, whole foods in moderation, and try to avoid ultra-processed foods as much as possible,” Breezy says.

“We’ve always believed that the kind of food we whip up and share with our loved ones should be made available to everyone,” she continues while celebrating the release of their Pumpkin Spice Almonds.

SkinnyDipped

In addition to enjoying their favorite nutritious dishes, the duo prioritizes wellness in their daily routines. 

“I swear by getting on the Peloton four times a week, doing a few cold plunges weekly, and walking as much as I can. … I also carve out moments to pause, breathe, and find stillness,” Val shares.

As for Breezy’s regimen? “I try to fit in movement, whether it’s a workout, or taking calls while walking. I cold plunge when I can and spend as much time outdoors in nature as possible.”

A Sweet and Subtle Announcement

The news was made public through a collaborative Instagram post that immediately went viral. The two lovebirds posted a picture of a stunningly designed cake on a silver platter laid over a soft beige fabric. The cake was decorated with dainty white flowers, giving the post a peaceful, intimate touch. At the center of the cake, there were imprints of little baby feet in gold, accompanied by the inscription, “1 + 1 = 3” — a sweet and original reference to their expanding family.

In addition to the photo, the couple also posted a brief video clip in which Parineeti and Raghav are walking hand in hand in a green park, their backs turned to the camera, soaking in the silence of the moment.

The caption was, “Our little universe … on its way ????????????❤️ Blessed beyond measure.” Just as soon as the post went live, the comments were filled with congratulatory messages from fans, celebrities, and friends. Sonam Kapoor posted, “Congratulations darling,” and Bhumi Pednekar also commented with a warm “Congratulations.”

Hints Dropped on National TV

Curiously, the announcement comes just after Raghav Chadha alluded to their intentions to have children during a show appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. While making light of it in a humorous segment, host Kapil Sharma teased about how parents tend to jump into “grandkid mode” the moment their children tie the knot.

When Kapil enquired if “laddu was being given yet,” Raghav smiled and responded, “Denge, aapko denge… good news jaldi denge!” leaving Parineeti clearly shocked and giggling. Though the remark was lighthearted then, now the couple appears to have been in the know about their soon-to-be bundle of joy.

A Love Story Blossomed into a Family

Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got married on September 24, 2023, at a lavish ceremony organised at the Leela Palace Hotel in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Their wedding was graced by a number of celebrities, politicians, and close friends. Parineeti has been frequently seen endorsing her husband’s political life while pursuing her career in the entertainment sector since their marriage.

Whereas Sunita has been appearing in court regularly, Govinda has reportedly failed to appear at the proceedings.

Sunita was also spotted visiting the Mahalaxmi temple in a recent viral vlog and sharing about her long-time relationship with Govinda.
