EastEnders’ Zoe suffers setback in search for son as Sharon deals big blow

She may be on the other side of the world in Florida, but Sharon Watts’s (Letitia Dean) decisions have left Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) with another cause for concern in EastEnders.

Last week it was revealed that Sharon was taking a trip to the States to see her old pal Michelle Fowler (Susan Tully), devastated that Zoe had lied about the father of her twins who were born in 2006.

As viewers will recall, Zo’ claimed that she’d conceived the children with Dennis Rickman (Nigel Harman) – Sharon’s adoptive brother turned hubby – two decades ago. She quickly fled the hospital after giving birth and didn’t wait to learn the fate of her daughter, who wasn’t breathing.

She later took handouts from Max Branning (Jake Wood) to find her missing son, but when they fell out, told the fib to Sharon in the hope she would cough up the cash.

Sharon was desperate to have some form of connection to Dennis again, and hired a private investigator to work on the case.

However, in today’s episode, they had some bad news.

Zoe was still recovering from an eventful Halloween, where she was left fearing for her life, trapped in the Queen Vic barrel store after hearing a disturbance. We’re still none the wiser as to whether she imagined the ordeal or whether there was actually someone in there, but whatever happened, it was still enough to seriously spook her.

To make matters worse, her cat has now gone missing and she believes this is just another vile act from her tormenter.

Sharon delivered some news via the private investigator. BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron

Amid the worry, the PI summoned her to the caff, as they had an update on the case. They revealed that Sharon had withdrawn funding and the case was considered closed.

A mortified Zoe begged her to reconsider, hoping that she’d be able to give her some tidbits of information that would lead her on the right path to locate her child. Unfortunately, the PI wanted another £3k before they divulged.

Mum Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) wanted to help but couldn’t justify selling one of her business assets, while step-dad Alfie (Shane Richie) wondered whether to trust her claims that she was being targeted.

Could Zoe be making it up to gain sympathy?

SpongeBob is returning to the big screen with a brand-new adventure, and this time he’s going deeper than ever before. The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants from Paramount Pictures is set to release on December 19, 2025, promising an all-new, ocean-spanning story for fans of every age.

According to official details, the movie follows SpongeBob as he tries to prove his bravery to Mr. Krabs. Determined to show he’s more than just a fry cook, he joins The Flying Dutchman, a ghost pirate known for his mischievous and mysterious ways, on a wild seafaring mission. Along the way, SpongeBob and his Bikini Bottom friends face hilarious new challenges in the deepest parts of the ocean.

The film stars Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, alongside Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, and Mr. Lawrence reprising their iconic roles. The cast also features George Lopez, Ice Spice, Arturo Castro, Sherry Cola, Regina Hall, and Mark Hamill, bringing a mix of comedy and star power to the underwater adventure.

Directed by Derek Drymon and produced by Lisa Stewart, Pam Brady, and Aaron Dem, the movie is rated PG for rude humor, some thematic elements, and mild language.

As of now, this information is based on what’s been officially released by the studio. We haven’t seen the movie yet and don’t claim to have. But from what’s known so far, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants looks like it’s going to be a fun, heartfelt return to the kind of humor and creativity that made the franchise a global favorite.

Mark your calendars, SpongeBob and the Bikini Bottom gang are set to sail back into theaters this December, ready to make another splash.

Ima Robot Unearth Lost 2000s LP ‘Search and Destroy’

by jummy84 October 22, 2025
written by jummy84

Early 2000s band Ima Robot has unearthed a lost album from that time period, Search and Destroy, which will finally see the light of day Nov. 14 through Community Music. The title track is out now and can be sampled below.

Founded by future Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros frontman Alex Ebert in the late 1990s, Ima Robot eventually signed with Virgin Records for its 2003 self-titled debut. The album pricked up the ears of adventurous listeners thanks to its au courant blend of jittery indie rock and more dance-leaning music, but was not commercially successful beyond a core group of devoted fans.

“I hope it inspires people to remember that not everything has to be the same,” Ebert told SPIN at the time of the album’s release. “You can do different things and you can be fresh and you can listen to fresh music and things don’t have to stay in one area, you know? We all get into ruts where we forget that things can be different. The only comments I’ve ever seen are like, ‘not only did they pull from this band and that band, but they also pull from this little-known band,’ and I have no idea who these bands are. Never heard of them. No idea. It’s kind of cool for me because I get to build up my record collection that way. I like to call our music high-clash because to me, it’s elevated. It’s not metal meets rap. To me, it’s just everything all across the board.”

In the wake of the debut, Ima Robot wrote a wealth of songs while preparing for its second album, many of which were pressed in extremely limited quantities as Search and Destroy and sold at a handful of 2006 shows — much to the chagrin of Virgin.

“Never uploaded online nor formally distributed, it might have disappeared entirely if not for the dedication of a devoted few Robot heads who preserved its traces,” reads a new band bio about the project. “Today, echoes of that fervor endure with original CDs fetching hundreds of dollars on MusicStack and other resell sites, a testament to the enduring allure and quiet obsession the record inspired.”

“In a lot of ways, this stuff sounds like the original Ima Robot, the pre-signed fuck-it,” Ebert says now. “There’s a lightness to the whole thing. It feels more like the original concept, a reclaiming of the initial vibe.”

Ima Robot has been inactive since 2011, while Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros have only played live on a handful of occasions since 2016.

Father Of Missing 7-Month-Old Emmanuel Haro Pleads Guilty To M*rder As Search For Infant Continues

Jake Haro, the father of 7-month-old Emmanuel Haro who was reported missing in May, has pleaded guilty to second-degree mrder. The emotional plea came Thursday during a felony settlement conference, according to NBC Palm Springs. Haro reportedly broke down in tears as he admitted to klling his son.

His wife, Rebecca Haro, remains charged with m*rder but continues to plead not guilty. The infant’s body has never been found.

The couple initially claimed their baby was kidnapped outside a Big 5 Sporting Goods store in Yucaipa. Rebecca told investigators she was attacked while changing Emmanuel’s diaper, but police later found inconsistencies in her story. A K9 search of their home and Jake’s vehicle led authorities to suspect foul play.

Prosecutors allege Emmanuel suffered prolonged abse before his dath. Jake is scheduled to be sentenced on November 3, while Rebecca’s next hearing is set for October 28.

Prayers for baby Emmanuel. What are your thoughts on this tragic update?

Tyler, the Creator announces 2025 Camp Flog Gnaw line-up with a word search

Tyler, The Creator has announced the line-up for Camp Flog Gnaw 2025. Find all the details below.

The 11th edition of the carnival will take place at Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium on November 15 and 16. Tickets for the festival were initially put on sale in June, without any news as to who would be performing. Passes promptly sold out and fans have since been awaiting the reveal of the line-up.

Now, Tyler has unveiled the list of artists set to perform via a word search that was posted on Instagram yesterday (August 21).

The puzzle revealed that, alongside Tyler himself, playing the festival will be A$AP Rocky, Doechii, Childish Gambino, Clipse, Earl Sweatshirt, T-Pain, The Alchemist, 2 Chainz, Thundercat, Larry June, Clairo, Teezo Touchdown, Tems and more.

Last year, the rapper shared the festival’s line-up in a similar fashion, rolling out a crossword puzzle to reveal performances from Erykah Badu, Playboi Carti, André 3000, Kaytranada, Sexyy Red, Vince Staples, Omar Apollo, Faye Webster, RAYE, and more.

The 2024 edition was full of surprises, including R&B superstar SZA joining Doechii on stage during her set to perform their 2020 collaboration, ‘Persuasive (remix)’, and Playboi Carti brought out The Weeknd during his set to perform ‘Timeless’.

In other news, Tyler released his ninth studio album, ‘Don’t Tap The Glass’, in July, after announcing it only two days earlier during a concert in Brooklyn.

NME gave ‘Don’t Tap the Glass’ four stars, in a review that read: “Shedding the cinematic sprawl and narrative pathos of last year’s ‘Chromakopia’, Tyler steps away from the character-driven framing of Wolf Haley or Sir Baudelaire.

“The paranoia and parasocial tension explored on that record still linger – but beneath cartoonish ’80s rap armour. It’s part Kurtis Blow and part LL Cool J, encased in a clear Perspex chamber like a collector’s action figure. Instead of inviting connection, Tyler shields himself behind the glass: a museum piece for dance and display only.”

Shortly after the album came out, he also released a clean version at the request of a fan. The LP serves as a follow-up to ‘Chromakopia’, which landed at number 44 on NME‘s best albums of 2024 list.

In May, NME caught him live in London, giving his performance a glowing five-star review which read: “As Tyler wishes us a farewell, he remains humble, but tonight is no small feat. With outfit changes, multiple stages and live vocals front-and-centre, Tyler flips through his eras like a masterclass in fearless reinvention.

“From the raw menace of ‘Goblin’ to the kaleidoscopic chaos of ‘Chromakopia’, tonight is a vivid, wild ride through the mind of rap’s ultimate maverick – and London is lucky to be along for the journey.

In other news, the musician is set to make his film debut later this year in Marty Supreme, a new A24 film set to be released in December.
