The seven-episode series follows Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), a passionate newcomer determined to make his mark in the film world. The Ba***ds of Bollywood trailer: The trailer for Aryan Khan’s debut Netflix web series The Ba***ds of Bollywood is out now after releasing the preview last month. The trailer hints that the seven-episode series is filled with sharp one-liners and larger-than-life moments. Produced by Gauri Khan via Red Chillies Entertainments Pvt. Ltd, the series will feature cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and others.

The series follows Aasmaan Singh (Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer with big dreams. With his loyal best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal), sharp-tongued manager Sanya (Anya Singh), and his supportive family by his side — his uncle Avtar (Manoj Pahwa), mother Neeta Singh (Mona Singh), and father Rajat Singh (Vijayant Kohli) — Aasmaan steps into Bollywood.

He soon finds out that dreams come at a price, especially when ambition and ego collide. Aasmaan finds himself up against his biggest challenge yet, superstar Ajay Talvar (Bobby Deol), when he is cast opposite his daughter, Bollywood newcomer Karishma (Sahher Bambba). Throw the shrewd producer Freddy Sodawallah (Manish Chaudhari) into the mix, along with Jaraj Saxena (Rajat Bedi), a yesteryear actor desperate for a comeback, and what follows is a sharp, self-aware saga, set against the irresistible spectacle of Hindi cinema.

The trailer also teases a reunion between Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. In one scene, Aamir discusses a scene with Rajamouli. Later, he dismisses Aasmaan for choosing vada pav over idly sambar. Avtar also hilariously mistakes Shah Rukh for rapper Badshah and dismisses him, making him miffed.

About The Ba***ds of Bollywood

Cameos by Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan, SS Rajamouli, Badshah, Disha Patani, and more are also expected. The Ba***ds of Bollywood will premiere on Netflix on 18 September.

The music is in collaboration with T-Series. Shashwat Sachdev composed the album, with guest composers Anirudh Ravichander and Ujwal Gupta. The first track, Badli Si Hawa Hai, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and sung by Arijit Singh and Amira Gill, has already been released. Adding to the playlist is Tu Pehli Tu Aakhri, composed, produced, and arranged by Shashwat Sachdev with vocals from Arijit Singh.

But did you know that Roshan wanted to cast Salman Khan in the role of Jackie’s younger brother in the movie and not SRK? Rakesh’s friend and producer, Vivek Vaswani, shared the interesting story in an interview with Film Companion.

How Shah Rukh Khan Convinced Rakesh Roshan To Cast Him In King Uncle

According to Vaswani, SRK got cast in King Uncle and signed a three-film deal with Rakesh Roshan’s company Filmkraft despite not appearing in even one film until then. Vivek revealed that he suggested Shah Rukh Khan‘s name to Rakesh. When the Pathaan star met Roshan, the latter asked him why he should cast him.

Vivek recalled, “He explained how Rakesh had already sold King Uncle. So casting Salman and paying him more money was not going to raise the price of the film, and casting Shah Rukh at lower money was not going to reduce the price of the film.” For the record, Vaswani imbued knowledge about the film industry in SRK and wrapped it with his charm to captivate the filmmaker.

Vaswani added, “Rakesh ji’s mouth was open because this man is talking like a professional of the industry, like a veteran, and he is one, as far as he is concerned, one newcomer from TV.” As Salman Khan was already a star in the industry, SRK’s logic struck a chord with Roshan, and eventually, he got the part.

What Next For Shah Rukh Khan?

2023 turned out to be a busy year for SRK as he appeared in three back-to-back films, including Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. He also had a cameo role in Tiger 3. The actor is now gearing up for his next big release, titled King, one of the most-anticipated Bollywood films. The movie is scheduled to be released in 2026.

This clip has set off speculation that the three actors might be appearing together in Aryan Khan’s much-anticipated debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. The show already boasts a star-studded cast including Bobby Deol, Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Raghav Juyal, and rumoured cameos by Karan Johar, Ranveer Singh, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan.

Even more big names are expected to be part of the series, such as Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Sidharth Malhotra, Sara Ali Khan, Ananya Panday, Kriti Sanon, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Shilpa Shetty, Karisma Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, SS Rajamouli, and many others. The scale of the project has made fans even more excited.

Aamir Khan has previously said that all three Khans are open to working together, but only if they find the right script. So far, that hasn’t happened until possibly now.

While Shah Rukh and Salman have shared the screen several times, Aamir has never appeared with both of them at once. If the rumours are true, this project would mark the first time all three icons act together in the same frame a historic moment in Bollywood.

The three Khans of Bollywood – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are widely loved for their charming camaraderie and blockbuster movies the trio has brought to life for many decades now.  It has been a long-held wish of many fans to see the ‘three Khans’ of Bollywood together on the silver screen. It seems like that might just come true.  

A recent clip that went viral on the internet features three vanity fans with the names of the three Khans written on each. The man recording the video can be heard saying “… teeno saath me. Konsa movie hai bhai? (All three together. Which movie is it, brother?).”

Shilpa remembered how superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was also present, didn’t protest and calmly said, “We’ll shoot tomorrow then.” Farah, known for her eye for detail, added, “I’m a perfectionist.”

Farah, who was pregnant with triplets at the time, joked about her envy over Shilpa’s figure. “Everyone was watching her. But did you know that Shah Rukh Khan rejected the movie 4 times? Yes, you heard that right.

We almost missed out on the superstar playing the cult character. Reason? Shah Rukh Khan thought he was too ‘old’ to play the role of Raj in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. According to a news report in ScoopWhoop, SRK, in a documentary had said, “I never wanted to do a romantic role. Because by the time I joined films I was 26. Normally, romantic films meant that you started off from a college and then you work your way up into romance and then run away with a girl, or committed suicide with a girl. I thought I was too old to be a romantic hero.”

The actor further said he was keen to take up negative roles like Darr and Baazigar, which he felt gave him more prominence. After repeatedly rejecting Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, director-producer Aditya Chopra offered the role to Saif Ali Khan. But as they say, destiny always finds its way to the things meant for you. Yash Chopra persuaded his son to convince Shah Rukh Khan.

Yash Chopra himself decided to meet Shah Rukh Khan and said, “You must take up romantic roles on the big screens if you want to survive in the industry.” The actor could not refuse the legendary producer and nodded to the movie. And the rest, they say, is history. The movie became one of the most successful films in Indian cinema and the longest-running movie in the country. Most importantly, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge redefined SRK as a milestone actor in romance and charm.

Shah Rukh Khan’s Daughter Suhana Khan In Legal Trouble Over Agricultural Land Purchased In Alibaug For Rs 12.01 Cr- Report

Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan has reportedly encountered legal issues related to the purchase of agricultural land in Alibaug. According to documents, Suhana acquired two plots worth approximately Rs 22 crore in 2023 and 2024, with the transactions registered under Deja Vu Farm Private Limited, a company owned by Gauri Khan’s mother and sister-in-law.

Suhana Khan’s Agricultural Land Deals In Hot Water?

One of the plots, located in Thal village of Alibaug, was allegedly bought for Rs 12.91 crore from three sisters—Anjali, Rekha, and Priya—who inherited the land from their parents. The land was initially allocated for farming purposes by the government. Notably, Suhana paid a stamp duty of Rs 77.46 lakh at the time of purchase, and official records depict her as a farmer.

Another report by IANS suggests that the piece of land, reportedly costing Rs 12.91 crore, which was purchased by Suhana Khan, was from the Khote family based in Cuffe Parade, Mumbai. The actress paid stamp duty of Rs 77.47 lakh during registration, and the transfer happened on May 30, 2023, through Standard Chartered Bank.

It’s worth noting that in 2018, the Income Tax Department had temporarily attached Khan’s Alibaug bungalow amid suspicions that it was used as a personal farmhouse, despite being purchased as agricultural land. The property was held by Deja Vu Farms Pvt Ltd. The move was part of a broader investigation into benami transactions and possible violations of land acquisition norms.

The Alibaug authorities are currently investigating the matter. Resident Deputy Collector Sandesh Shirke has requested an impartial report from the Tehsildar.

Both Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana are yet to comment on this incident.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan made his long-awaited debut as a public speaker at the premiere of his directorial debut series The Ba*ds of Bollywood. The Red Chillies Entertainment-produced Netflix series will release on September 18. During the event, Aryan gave an endearing and witty speech that won the crowd’s hearts immediately.

Nervous But Honest Debut

Opening up about his nerves, Aryan admitted, “Bohot nervous hu kyunki pehli baar main aap sabke saamne stage par aaya hu (I’m very nervous because this is the first time I’m standing in front of all of you).” He shared that he had been rehearsing the speech for three nights straight. I was that nervous, I put the speech on a teleprompter and wrote it out on paper—just in case the power went out,” he quipped.

With a lighter moment, Shah Rukh Khan was spotted with Aryan’s speech stuck to his back, once again demonstrating that the King of Bollywood knows how to assist in style and humor. Aryan added, “Aur agar tab bhi mujhse mistake ho jaaye, to Papa hain na! (And if I still make a mistake, well, my dad’s here!).”

Fans Spot SRK’s Influence

After the speech, fans inundated social media with praise, noting the remarkable vocal similarity between Aryan and SRK. Posts such as “Sounds jussssss like SRK” and “SRK voice = Aryan voice” went viral within hours.
