[Warning: The following contains MAJOR spoilers from Maxton Hall — The World Between Us Season 2.]

True to form, Maxton Hall doesn’t let Ruby Bell (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James Beaufort’s (Damian Hardung) happiness last long. The young couple’s romance is still going strong in Season 2’s finale, despite all of Mortimer’s (Fedja van Huêt) attempts to destroy Ruby’s life. She decides that staying with James is worth it — and then the Beaufort patriarch delivers his most devastating blow yet.

Mortimer’s scheme gets Ruby suspended from Maxton Hall, putting her dream of attending Oxford University in jeopardy.

Ruby Wrote Note to Vince

by jummy84 November 15, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • The November 14 episode of Fire Country features Manny stepping in as Station 42’s new battalion chief, causing tension with Sharon over leadership changes.
  • Bode and Sharon finally share their secrets, with Bode revealing the blackmail note and Sharon disclosing the ATF’s suspicion that Vince’s death was arson.
  • The episode ends with Sharon revealing that she knows who sent Vince that note.

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Fire Country Season 4 Episode 5 “Happy First Day, Manny.”]

There’s quite a bit to enjoy in the Friday, November 14, episode of Fire Country. Station 42’s new battalion chief is keeping it in the family with Manny (Kevin Alejandro) filling in the spot left open with Vince’s death. We even like that he and Sharon (Diane Farr) clash over changes he’s making (the coffee!) and who’s in charge during a call. Eve (Jules Latimer) comes up with a plan involving chickens to help build up Three Rock again. W. Earl Brown brings Wes Fox over from Sheriff Country, for some family time with Sharon and Bode (Max Thieriot). And speaking of those Leones, mother and son finally talk, sharing what they’ve been keeping from one another.

Now that Jake (Jordan Calloway) has told Bode about the note blackmailing Vince from an R, whom he and Eve think is his ex, Renee (Constance Zimmer), he wants him to tell his mom. But instead, Bode decides to search the house and finds a PO Box key. He hides it from her, but Sharon’s also keeping something from him: the fact that ATF thinks someone deliberately set the fire that led to his dad’s death. As she explains to Manny, she doesn’t want to tell Bode something that will unleash an anger in him.

Eve, meanwhile, pushes Jake to tell Bode to tell his mom, but the captain doesn’t want to ruin the fact that they’ve just gotten back onto speaking terms (after Bode blamed Jake for keeping him from going back into the fire that killed his dad). But it does come up on their way to a call, with Jake testing the waters in pointing out that Vince was a great man but nobody’s perfect; Bode refuses to even acknowledge the possibility of Vince having an affair since he worshipped Sharon.

During the course of responding to a fire at the drive-in, Bode can see something’s going on with Sharon and Manny and his mom is hiding something, and Jake calls him out on the irony of it. He finally tells Bode that he needs to tell Sharon. Eve agrees. And when Bode clues in Wes on the situation, Sharon’s stepfather agrees with Jake to tell his mom, play offense, and use his whole “team,” including Sharon and his friend. Good ones tell you what you don’t want to hear, Wes reminds Bode.

And so when Jake gets home, it’s to Bode moving back in. He also didn’t check out the PO Box, agreeing that his father wasn’t perfect and had his secrets. He then heads to his mom’s to tell her about it. But first, Sharon tells him about the ATF investigation and makes sure he knows he can’t go all vigilante. Then, Bode shows her the note. But Sharon assures him Vince wasn’t having an affair. Rather, the fact that “she” would extort him for money and he’d get into this position with her … So, who’s she? “She’s my mother,” Sharon reveals, teeing up Christine Lahti‘s debut as Ruby in the November 21 episode.

What did you think of the latest episode? What do you think of that tease about Sharon’s mom? Let us know in the comments section below.

Ruby Rose Defends Taylor Swift Against Billionaire Backlash: “She Used To Scroll GoFundMe Like Social Media” | Glamsham.com

Ruby Rose is setting the record straight for her longtime friend Taylor Swift amid growing online debates about Swift’s billionaire status and charitable giving. After a viral post claimed that Swift “doesn’t deserve to be a billionaire” and “doesn’t actually donate much,” Ruby stepped in with a rare, emotional comment that paints a very different picture of the pop icon.

“Lol. She used to scroll GoFundMe like social media,” Ruby wrote. “Clicking ‘reach their donation’ like it was the like button.” Her comment instantly went viral, offering a glimpse into the private generosity of one of the world’s biggest stars.

Fans were quick to connect the dots. Swift has been known to make anonymous contributions to fans’ fundraisers and crisis campaigns over the years, whether it’s paying for college tuition, rent, or medical emergencies. But this comment from Ruby Rose, one of Swift’s closest industry friends, confirms just how habitual and heartfelt those gestures were.

Ruby Rose defends Taylor Swift following MAGA allegations:

“As someone who has spent many nights discussing the world, social injustice and life, with The Show Girl herself. I refuse to say her name in the same sentence as the hate group…” pic.twitter.com/5rNCCtRjHt

Ruby didn’t stop there. In a pointed follow-up, she added, “As someone who has spent many nights discussing the world’s social industries and life, the showgirl herself, I refuse to say her name in the same sentence as the hate group.” The “hate group” reference was likely aimed at online communities spreading political propaganda against Swift, which Ruby linked to former U.S. President Donald Trump’s circle.

“Given her public position against Trump and his against her,” Ruby continued, “if you’re falling for the propaganda “Tradwife, XYZ claims, you’re most definitely walking into the biggest man-made rage-bait black hole. Stop it. It’s not true and it’s incredibly stupid.”

Her defense struck a chord with fans who feel Swift has become an easy target despite her activism and philanthropy. “It’s embarrassing and hurtful to see energy put into this,” Ruby said. “Keep that energy and let’s take it where it’s necessary and needed.”

With Ruby’s candid words now spreading across social platforms, one thing’s clear: behind the fame, Taylor Swift’s quiet acts of kindness might be far bigger than anyone realized.

Ruby Franke and Kevin Franke Finalize Divorce One Year After Her Child Abuse Sentencing

Chad Franke is officially a husband.

The 20-year-old son of Ruby Franke and her ex-husband Kevin Franke married his fiancée Kam Anderson Oct. 10, with his sister Shari Franke confirming the happy news on social media.

“Guys,” Shari wrote in an Instagram Stories post alongside a throwback pic of her younger brother, “can you believe this dude got married today.”

Shari, 22, followed that up with a more recent snap of Chad, calling him her “bestie forever” as she embraced her new sister-in-law.

“Welcome to our crazy family @glowwithkamm @kamryn_.a,” she said. “You guys are gonna DIE over their pics!”

One person who won’t be in the couple’s wedding photos is Chad’s mom Ruby, who is currently serving an up to 30-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to four felony counts of second-degree aggravated child abuse.

And while the matriarch—who in addition to Chad and Shari, shares four other kids with Kevin—may have missed her son tying the knot, she previously expressed wanting nothing but the best for him during a court hearing to receive her sentence in 2024.

Ruby and James’ Love Story Continues

by jummy84 October 2, 2025
written by jummy84

School is back in session.

Prime Video released the season two trailer for Maxton Hall starring Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung.

The series’ second season, based on the second part of the bestselling novel series Save You by author Mona Kasten, will debut on Nov. 7. The books and series follow star student Ruby and wealthy heir James Beaufort falling for each other despite their differences.

“After their passionate night together in Oxford and her greatest life goal within reach, everything seems to be going perfectly for Ruby (Herbig-Matten). But a stroke of fate in James’ (Hardung) family changes everything and James himself, of all people, brings her back from cloud nine to a harsh reality,” Prime Video teased of the upcoming season. “But she can’t forget James — especially since he’s doing everything, he can to win her back.”

“Some dreams are beautiful that you want to stop time. And sometimes one second is enough to turn them into a nightmare,” Herbig-Matten’s Ruby says in the trailer as it begins showing her and James in love before transitioning to a party in which James is seen kissing someone else as Ruby looks heartbroken

However, with James determined to win her back, Ruby and James have to confront their lingering chemistry and obstacles including coming from two different worlds, the loss of James’ mother and James’ father insisting he stay away from Ruby.

“If you have a definite goal in life and nothing in the world would stop you getting it, then you mustn’t give it up,” Herbig-Matten’s Ruby is overheard telling James.

In addition to Hardung and Herbig-Matten, Sonja Weißer, Ben Felipe, Fedja van Huêt, Runa Greiner, Justus Riesner, Andrea Guo, Frederic Balonier and Eli Riccardi also star in the series.

Martin Schreier returns to direct the second season of Maxton Hall – The World Between Us.

Markus Brunnemann and Ceylan Yildirim, who also acts as head writer of the series, produce. Juliana Lima Dehne and Marlene Melchior are also screenwriters for the second season. Valentin Debleris produces for UFA Fiction. The series is supported by the German Motion Picture Fund (GMPF).

Following its release last year, Maxton Hall became Amazon’s biggest-ever international launch and the most watched international show of all time in its first week.

Amid the show’s success, Kasten’s German-language book trilogy has been translated in English and published in America for the first time. Save Me released on July 1, with Save You on Sept. 2. Meanwhile, Save Us will publish on Nov. 4.

“Watching Damian and Harriet bring my book characters to life has been truly special. They perfectly captured Ruby’s determination and eagerness, as well as the many layers of James’ personality,” Kasten told The Hollywood Reporter.

“I wanted to write a story that had all the emotional highs and lows, unexpected twists and intense character dynamics I loved in the teen dramas I grew up with; the kind of stories where you’d count down the days until the next episode,” Kasten said. “I wanted readers to feel fully immersed in that world, to fall in love, gasp at secrets and root for characters. By the end, I wanted readers to feel like they had been through it all with them and come out stronger on the other side.”

Season two of Maxton Hall will be available on Prime Video on Nov. 7
