Lela Rose Pre-Fall 2026 Collection

by jummy84 December 7, 2025
written by jummy84

A floral dress is standard fare from Lela Rose, but this season the designer approached it a little differently. Her canvas skirt sets came embellished with floral appliqués that were actually made by hand from leather. Rose was rightly proud of this new detail, pointing out that the appliqués won’t lose their shape or structure, and that the mixed textile components add something new to the closets of her customers.

Over the years, the brand has become a dependable source for evening wear, especially for Southerners. Now, in a more experimental frame of mind, Rose used casual fabrics for those signature dresses. A floral gown, for instance, was made from simple cotton poplin. Though it was lined with horsehair fabric to add volume and drama, it retained its relaxed perspective.

Metallica Honour AC/DC and Rose Tattoo During M72 Tour Finale

by jummy84 November 16, 2025

Metallica closed out the Australian leg of their M72 World Tour with a tribute to two of the country’s most influential rock acts, performing covers of AC/DC and Rose Tattoo during their Nov. 15 concert at Sydney’s Accor Stadium.

The gesture came during the band’s signature “doodle” segment — the stripped-back interlude led by guitarist Kirk Hammett and bassist Robert Trujillo — which has become a staple of the current tour.

The pair launched into an instrumental version of AC/DC’s “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)” before shifting into Rose Tattoo’s “Nice Boys Don’t Play Rock ’n’ Roll,” drawing loud approval from the sold-out crowd. The moment carried added resonance as AC/DC were performing their own Power Up tour the same night in Melbourne, creating a rare split-city convergence of two generations of rock royalty.

The Sydney show capped a five-city Australian run in which Metallica incorporated local tributes at every stop. In Perth on Nov. 1, Hammett and Trujillo performed John Butler Trio’s “Zebra.” Adelaide received a rendition of The Angels’ “Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again,” while Melbourne fans heard a nod to The Living End’s “Prisoner of Society” with hints of INXS’ “Don’t Change.” Brisbane’s Nov. 12 show featured The Chats’ punk anthem “Smoko,” a moment that sent the audience into full-throttle chaos.

Metallica performed to roughly 70,000 fans in Sydney, supported by Evanescence and Suicidal Tendencies. Their 360-degree stage design once again featured the Snake Pit walkway, robotic cameras and drones — a production approach that has defined the visual identity of the M72 tour and pushed the stadium experience into new territory.

The timing of the show aligned with a major period for Australian rock audiences. Oasis had wrapped their Australian stadium run one week earlier, and AC/DC’s return created back-to-back landmark moments for fans across the country.

Next, Metallica will continue the M72 World Tour in Auckland on Nov. 19 before heading to Qatar.

EXCLUSIVE: Tia Bajpai Opens Up On The Return Of Real Fear In Lilly Rose – Chapter 1; Says, “Horror Lost Its Spark”

Actress Tia Bajpai, still remembered as the haunting face of Haunted 3D and 1920 – Evil Returns, is making a groundbreaking return to the horror space with her upcoming international project Lilly Rose – Chapter 1. Marking her English-language debut, the film positions Tia at the heart of a new dark cinematic universe built on pure fear, mythic suspense and psychological intensity.

Tia Bajpai On Lilly Rose – Chapter 1

For years, Tia has felt the need to bring back the authentic horror that once defined Indian cinema.

“I have seen Bollywood lose its horror sight and mix the genre in ways that don’t substitute the OG horror experience we grew up with,” she says she Bollywood Bubble. The global locations don’t just serve as backdrops they elevate the narrative into an international horror mythology. From icy landscapes to gothic architecture and atmospheric European streets, every frame is built to echo the chilling, cinematic aesthetic that fans associate with Tia Bajpai.

“People still message me saying they discovered horror through Haunted 3D and 1920 – Evil Returns. That’s the emotion I want to recreate. Lilly Rose – Chapter 1 is made so people feel close again to the thrill our horror genre once had,” she shares.

Fans still connect Tia with the raw fear and emotional depth of Haunted 3D and 1920 – Evil Returns. Her performances in those films made her one of the few actresses who could genuinely anchor a horror film through expression, vulnerability, and presence and Lilly Rose – Chapter 1 taps back into that legacy.

The Birth Of A Dark Cinematic Universe

The film isn’t a a standalone story it’s the Dark cinematic world-building, Mythic suspense and folklore influence, A psychological depth that lingers after the film ends.

This time, she’s taking the genre international. And Lilly Rose – Chapter 1 is only the beginning.

Chris Hemsworth’s Mini-Me Twin Sons Steal Spotlight in Rare Red Carpet Appearance

Chris Hemsworth’s teenage daughter is bringing the thunder on the racetrack.

Indeed, the Thor star’s 13-year-old India Rose—who he shares with wife Elsa Pataky—put her lightning-fast dirt bike skills on display in a recent video.

“My girl absolutely sending it last weekend,” Chris wrote on Instagram Nov. 6 alongside a carousel of photos of India suited up in race gear while posing alongside her dad and trainer Taylor Eve. “A huge thanks for teaching her how to jump!”

Showcasing his daughter’s fearless attitude, the Avengers star shared a video of India revving her engine before taking off.

Further proving that his daughter had skills on the raceway, Chris also shared a video of India going full throttle, as she cleared a jump on the dirt track, while the person recording the video exclaimed, “Oh my god, she’s on fire.”

And during her fun day on the track, she had the support of her 11-year-old twin brothers Sasha and Tristan, who looked all grown up as they posed alongside India.

Sophie Rose Gutterman Reveals the Ultimate Holiday 2025 Hair Edit: Which Trends to Try (and Skip)

Sophie Rose Gutterman Reveals the Ultimate Holiday 2025 Hair Edit: Which Trends to Try (and Skip)

by jummy84 November 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Sleigh your holiday hair! Celebrity hairstylist Sophie Rose Gutterman, who has worked with Emmy Rossum, Nicky Hilton, Karlie Kloss, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jackie Tohn, is spilling her mane do’s and don’ts for the upcoming holiday season with ET.

While prepping for parties can feel stressful, Gutterman says keeping your strands low-key with high shine is essential for a festive celebration.

“Start with moisture and a good leave-in product like the Curlsmith Moisture Memory Weightless Leave-In Release or Double Cream Deep Quencher to guarantee hydration and prevent frizz. … Apply it to wet hair from the mid-lengths to ends and try a slicked back bun. It’s a heatless style that looks chic and helps treat the hair,” she explains.

Nicky Hilton/Instagram

If you want to take it up a notch while still letting your sparkly outfit shine, the hair expert suggests leaning on simple accessories.

“Working with clothes is always recommended, but that doesn’t mean you have to completely tone it down. … While hair may sometimes have to take a back seat to a high collar or sequins, it’s still fun to create statements that speak beyond the wardrobe.”

Her pick this year: “Balenciaga recently did a fashion show featuring tons of bows, and my client who attended wore one with a half-up style and face framing bangs. It was so fun.”

It’s also important to avoid overdoing your locks so that you look good (and feel good) while mingling.

Balenciaga

“Limit the number of bobby pins you use. If it hurts while you’re styling, chances are you’ll have a headache by the end of the night and nobody wants that,” she notes.

Instead, opt for the Root Boost Uplifting Spray to keep your style lasting from cocktails to carols.

“Blow dry your hair with a good round brush, set it with clips, let it dry, take it down, and shake it out. You’re welcome for your new obsession,” she dishes.

But if you’re craving a bolder change as we head into 2026, the hairstylist believes bangs are the move.

“Don’t be scared of them! … They’re super cute with updos and make lived-in looks easier to style.”

Maya Dehlin Spach/Getty Images

And for a color shift, Gutterman suggests experimenting with a subtle semi-permanent shade.

“Looking for more warmth but not quite ready to go red? Ask your stylist for a toner. … Think of it as a lip-gloss for your hair.”

For a full new year, new hair vibe, try a fresh chop.

“If you’re open to cutting your hair, I’m loving the Sydney Sweeney bob right now! You can wear it so many different ways.”

Rose Byrne wore Prada to the Rome Film Festival premiere of If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. The “peplum pockets” are interesting, but it’s still a peplum and the dress, overall, isn’t great. There was some awards-buzz for this film a few months ago but then critics started reviewing the film and it doesn’t seem so buzzy anymore. [RCFA]

First Look Featurette for ‘If I Had Legs I’d Kick You’ with Rose Byrne

“It’s a fever dream about motherhood.” A24 has posted a “first look” making of promo for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, which is already out in theaters now (go see it!). Made by talented up-and-coming filmmaker Mary Bronstein, this film premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year to rave reviews. With her life crashing down around her, Linda attempts to navigate her child’s illness, her absent husband, a missing person, and an increasingly hostile relationship with her own therapist. I like the way Bronstein describes how the film is abut the mother as an individual: “It’s not a story about a family. It’s a story about this person.” Starring Rose Byrne as Linda, with Conan O’Brien, Danielle Macdonald, ASAP Rocky, Ivy Wolk, Daniel Zolghadri, and Josh Pais. This promo sheds a bit more light on the intent and ideas within this film. I’m glad it’s showing in theaters now – and I hope more people catch up with it soon. Enjoy.

Here’s the “first look” featurette for Mary Bronstein’s film If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, from YouTube:

If I Had Legs I'd Kick You Trailer

If I Had Legs I'd Kick You Poster

You can rewatch the official trailer for Bronstein’s If I Had Legs I’d Kick You right here for more footage.

Linda (Rose Byrne) is a working mother at her wits’ end. When her ceiling literally comes crashing down on her, she is forced to face yet another crisis, staying in a motel with her young daughter while also navigating how to fix the hole in her ceiling, her child’s illness, a missing patient and a parade of people who seem incapable of helping her. If I Had Legs I’d Kick You is written and directed by American actress / writer / filmmaker Mary Bronstein, her second feature film after making Yeast (2008) previously and one other short film. Produced by Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, Richie Doyle, Conor Hannon, Sara Murphy, Josh Safdie, Ryan Zacarias. This initially premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival earlier in the year, and will be screening at TIFF next as a Special Presentation this September. A24 will debut Bronstein’s If I Had Legs I’d Kick You film in select US theaters starting October 10th, 2025 – now out in theaters. Any good?

Watch Axl Rose throw mic at and kick new Guns N’ Roses drummer’s kit before storming off stage in Argentina

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Axl Rose has kicked and thrown his mic at new Guns N’ Roses drummer Isaac Carpenter’s kit and stormed off stage at a show in Argentina.

  • READ MORE: Guns N’ Roses live at Glastonbury: a solid performance… to the wrong crowd

The band are in the middle of a South American tour and on Saturday (October 18), they played the second of two shows at Estadio Huracan in Buenos Aires. During the show’s opening number ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, the frontman appeared to lose his temper and take it out on the drumkit.

After finishing the song’s chorus, he threw his microphone at the kit, tore off his leather jacket and stormed off stage. Elsewhere in the show, he walked up the drum riser and directly kicked the bass drum.

“So, I’ll just try and wing this,” he told the crowd in one clip that has surfaced online. It is unclear if he was angry at his bandmates or the sound on stage. Watch footage here:

In March, the band’s long-term drummer Frank Ferrer, who had been with them since 2006, left the band in what was initially described as an “amicable exit”, although he later shared his “disappointment” that his time with the band had finished.

One day later, AWOLNATION’s Carpenter was announced as their new drummer, having previously worked with GNR’s bassist Duff McKagan’s band Loaded.

Last week, Slash hinted that a new Guns N’ Roses albums is “coming”, saying that “everybody [in the band] is thinking about it”. The band have not released a full-length album since 2008’s much-delayed ‘Chinese Democracy’, while the last LP that either Slash or McKagan appeared on was the 1993 covers album ‘The Spaghetti Incident?’.

“There’s so much material at this point – it’s a matter of having the discipline to sit down and fucking get into it,” he said. “But the thing with Guns is, in my experience, you can never plan ahead. You can never sit down and go, ‘We’re going to take this time, and we’re going to do this.’ Every time we’ve done that, it falls apart.”

NME caught the band’s Glastonbury headline performance in 2023, calling it “one of their strongest sets in recent years” in a three-star review.

“To any G’N’R fan, the Glasto set undoubtedly marks one of the strongest sets that the rock veterans have given in recent years — completely devoid of sound issues, Axl Rose’s vocals in pretty good form, Slash at the top of his game and, probably the second biggest shock of the night, the band beginning the performance bang on time.”

MAMA Awards 2025: BTS’ Jin, BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Rose and More Receive Major Nominations

by jummy84 October 17, 2025
written by jummy84

This year’s MAMA Awards 2025 is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most highly anticipated editions yet. The full list of nominations has officially been unveiled, and it is already stirring major buzz. BLACKPINK’s Jennie has secured the most nominations of the night. Close behind are fellow artistes like Rosé, SEVENTEEN, and aespa, all earning multiple nods.

Notably, while the BTS members have received individual nominations for their solo work, the group itself is absent from the group categories. One of the biggest surprises this year is the inclusion of the fictional K-Pop groups from KPop Demon Hunters, HUNTRIX and Saja Boys, who landed nominations in place of the actual artistes behind them.

Check out the full list of nominees below.
