Robert Irwin grateful for ‘very in-depth’ Dancing With the Stars critique from Russell Crowe

Russell Crowe gives Robert Irwin “very in-depth feedback” over his Dancing With the Stars performance every week.

Robert Irwin is grateful for Russell Crowe’s support

The 21-year-old conservationist and his family have been friends with the Gladiator star for decades and Robert feels “incredibly grateful” for all the advice his pal has offered while he takes party in the celebrity Latin and ballroom competition with professional dancer Witney Carson.

Robert told Access Hollywood: “I’m incredibly grateful for his support on this dancing journey. It’s actually been really cool because Russell will message after [each] performance.

“Instead of going, ‘This was a really great dance,’ he’ll really delve into the detail of, ‘Okay these steps were great, love the lines, love the clarity in the storytelling.’

“To really get that very in-depth feedback is amazing, and it means a lot.”

Robert is pleased to have the support of the Nuremberg star during his stint on the show because the actor is aware of how much his appearance means to him.

He added: “What I’m doing — I’m not a dancer, I’m trying to tell my story through dance, I’m trying to spread my message of positivity and passion and enthusiasm through dance, and Russell being there to support that means a lot.”

Robert – who is the son of late conservationist Steve Irwin and his widow Terri Irwin – admitted many of his childhood memories involve 61-year-old Russell and he’s grateful to have someone outside of the family to speak to about his dad.

He told People magazine: “I’ve known him for as long as I’ve been alive. I have some very early memories, actually. Some of the earliest memories of me with my dad were also with Russell, which is really special.

“I’m really grateful that I have someone in my life who … he’s actually been there to, in a way, keep my dad alive in my life.

“He has so many stories to share of him and dad, and I feel like I build an even better picture of my dad when I’m around Russell.

“Russell and dad were just great mates, so it’s a different perspective than when you’re hearing about your mom.

“It’s meaningful. He’s someone that I look up to and has truly inspired me.”

And Terri is grateful that Russell took the family “under his wing” following Steve’s death in 2006.

She said: “Russell was friends with Steve first, and then when Steve passed, he really took our family under his wing and looked after us, took care of us, and helped me with advice about my kids.”

Who Was Pierre Robert? All About the 93.3 WMMR Radio Host Who Died – Hollywood Life

Pierre Robert was a legendary fan-favorite radio personality whose career with 93.3 WMMR in Philadelphia became one of the city’s most iconic stories. Born and raised in Northern California, Pierre began his broadcast path in San Francisco before making his cross-country move to Pennsylvania in 1981, where he landed his long-term deal with the station. Unfortunately, Pierre died in October 2025 at the age of 70.

Beasley Media Group, the parent company of WMMR, shared a statement confirming the news of Pierre’s death, calling him the “heart and soul” of the station.

“Pierre’s unwavering love for music and his deep connection with listeners made him one of radio’s most enduring and beloved voices,” Caroline Beasley, CEO of BMG, said. “He will be greatly missed.”

While his exact cause of death is still unclear, we’ve compiled everything we know about Pierre’s life and career below.

Pierre Robert Was From California

Though he was best known as Philadelphia’s fan-favorite radio host, Pierre was actually from California. Born in the town of Truckee, the West Coast native drove across the country to Pennsylvania while driving a friend. The rest is history, as he eventually became the on-air host of WMMR-FM in 1981.

What began as a temporary opportunity turned into a lifelong home for Pierre. He began by working odd jobs around the station before earning his spot on the airwaves, where his humor and voice established a long-lasting and unbreakable bond with listeners. His signature statement, “Greetings, citizens!” became a daily anthem for generations of radio fans before he died in 2025.

Pierre Started at a San Francisco Radio Station

As a California native, Pierre got his start in radio at a San Francisco station. He worked for 94.9 KSAN-FM, which was one of the country’s first progressive rock stations until it changed its tone into an Urban Country format. Pierre temporarily switched his on-air name to Will Robertson at 94.9.

The details of Pierre’s death are still unclear, but he was found dead at home on October 29, 2025. He was 70 years old.

Pierre Robert, Voice of Philadelphia Rock Radio, Dead at 70

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

Pierre Robert, the voice of Philadelphia rock radio for 44 years as a DJ on 93.3 WMMR, died Wednesday. His agent confirmed his death to Rolling Stone. Robert was 70.

On the air from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Monday through Friday, Robert — pronounced Ro-bear — was part of the fabric of Philadelphia. He was a colorful, ubiquitous figure, known for his long hair and gray beard and the welcoming way he saluted callers: “Great day in the morning!” His daily time on the air was punctuated by hearty laughs, self-deprecating jokes about his disregard for time (he was perpetually late, on “Pierre Standard Time”) and wafer-thin sports knowledge (to Robert, every Philly team was “the boys in blue”), and a playlist that, even in the era of corporate radio, took musical risks.

Born William Pierre Robert in California in 1955, he cut his teeth on a San Francisco progressive rock station before ultimately heading east. In 1981, he joined WMMR in Philadelphia, where he worked until his death. Robert, true to his roots, was a passionate fan of the Grateful Dead, but he was an especially unwavering champion of hometown bands in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and the surrounding area, regardless of their level of fame. His playlists included locally grown artists like Bon Jovi, Bruce Springsteen, Hall & Oates, the Hooters, and his beloved Beru Revue.

“He didn’t care if you were the fad or the fashion of the moment. He just cared,” Jon Bon Jovi wrote in tribute to Robert on Instagram.

“What made him so great is that he truly cared about the music,” the band the Offspring wrote about Robert on social media. “He was first and foremost a music fan, and his listeners knew it, because they saw him in the pit with them. Just as we were honored to see him in the pit at our shows.”

Along with his noon “workforce blocks” — a cluster of songs by the same artist — Robert also schooled listeners on rock & roll history, especially of the local kind, in his “On This Day” segment. Deep diving into the concert calendar, he’d list off who was playing where in Philly on that particular date. It was a way of preserving the past and honoring those who came before, a hallmark of Robert’s broadcasting style.

Editor’s picks

The centerpiece of Robert’s on-air year came every December, with his annual Christmas Eve show. It was an hours-long marathon of holiday songs, both traditional and rock-based, peppered with copious amounts of Christmas-themed audio snippets. Jackie Gleason’s monologue in the yuletide episode of The Honeymooners was played regularly, along with Cheech & Chong’s “Santa Clause and His Old Lady,” and a corny bit known to loyal listeners as “The Jaguar.”

The throughline for Robert, however, was yet again the local. He played Beru Revue’s live Christmas medley; Philly songwriter Alan Mann’s “Christmas on the Block,” about blind children who decorate their home; and a montage of heartwarming lyrics welcoming former Delaware Valley residents back home.

Trending Stories

For Philly listeners, Robert’s voice was just that: home.

“His voice helped the hungry and the homeless, and he did it because he cared. About you, about me, about making the world a little kinder wonder filled place to live,” Bon Jovi wrote. “His memory will live with us as it will with all of the people he touched. That man is Pierre Robert. The legendary DJ.”

Recruitment Trends for Q3 2025 and Forecasts by Robert Kenward, Jigsaw Talent Solutions

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Senior recruitment specialist Robert Kenward shares live insights from across events and experiential agency owners, HR professionals and C-suite decision makers. Q3 shows a market re-focusing on experience, settling into hybrid norms, accepting the AI reality, and quietly regaining confidence for 2026.

Below are the standout Q3 2025 trends, plus forecasts for the months ahead.

Trend 1: Experience Is Back (“Lived Experience,” not Lip Service)

The brief has shifted. Agencies are keen to employ seasoned professionals – leaders who’ve managed people face-to-face, handled crises and can read a room. “Call it lived experience: instincts you only earn by doing,” says Kenward. “To be clear: this isn’t about age; it’s about depth of leadership and people skills.”

Trend 2: Leaders Want to be Back in the Office, and Many Teams Do Too

Hybrid has now settled at three or four office days for senior leaders. It’s not about presenteeism; it’s about proximity. “You can’t properly support a team from a spare room. Personal reasons also play a role – loneliness, changing home set-ups, and the need for clearer boundaries. In short, being present is back in fashion.”

Trend 3: Hybrid Is Fracturing Cultures – Clarity Cures It

The “messy middle” is… messy. “Different working patterns (2 days vs 4 days, fixed vs flexible) are creating micro-cliques and “in-group/out-group” dynamics,” says Kenward. “Remote-only employees feel sidelined and fully in-office teams resent exceptions. Information spreads informally – over a coffee, on a quick lunchtime walk – and the people outside the room miss out.” The remedy is simple but hard: set a model, stick to it, and recruit to it. Hybrid can work brilliantly – if it’s intentional and consistently applied.

Trend 4: AI Is Here, It’s Not the Enemy

AI is now simply part of the toolkit. It’s not new, it’s not scary, and crucially, it hasn’t stolen everyone’s job. The panic has passed. “We’ve calmed down,” says Kenward. “It’s being used sensibly – to automate admin, summarise notes, draft job specs – but not to replace people.” Recruiters and employers alike are finding balance: letting AI handle the dull stuff so humans can do the bit that matters – connection, assessment, creativity and conversation.

Trend 5: Sales Talent—Consider Fully Remote (Seriously)

Most roles are now three or four days in the office. The exception? Sales. “The best salespeople are client-side, not desk-bound. If you want top performers, consider remote-first sales with clear targets, accountability and trust. Remote doesn’t mean “never leaves the house”; it means out delivering, not clock-watching.”

Trend 6: “Work Hard, Play Hard” Is Now a Red Flag

Friday drinks and “work hard, play hard” culture are no longer seen as badges of honour – they’re red flags. “With no/low-alcohol culture on the rise and a more inclusive focus on wellbeing, employers are moving away from the bar tab as a benefit,” says Kenward. “Similarly, stop shouting about “hybrid” as if it’s a perk – it’s expected talk about purpose, progression, wellbeing and credible leadership instead.”

Trend 7: Face-to-Face Interviews Are Back (Especially Finals)

Final interviews are back in person, often at the client offices or an event. “Candidates refusing to meet face-to-face at that stage are seen as red flags. Employers want to see real interaction – with presence, curiosity, and chemistry – without a screen filter.”

Trend 8: “Vibe Hiring” Is Out, Evidence Is In

Chemistry still matters – no one wants to hire a nightmare – but “we vibed” no longer justifies a decision. “Employers are now testing claims: “You launched the US office? Talk me through the business case, budget and client wins.” Expect structured assessment, scenario discussions and proof over banter. The result? Better hires and fewer false starts,” comments Kenward.

Trend 9: Salary Transparency Is Growing

“I will die on this hill, and it feels like its finally getting through – more employers are posting salary bands. It’s efficient, fair and honest. It reduces mismatches, speeds up the process and signals that pay equity is more than a press release,” says Kenward. Expect this to become standard across mid–senior roles.

Trend 10: The Industry Is Split – But the Loudest Voices Aren’t the Whole Picture

The third/third/third split holds firm: a third of businesses are thriving, a third stable, a third struggling. But those struggling are also the loudest, so the public perception feels worse than reality. “You wouldn’t believe how much quiet optimism there is,” says Kenward. “Lots of agencies are confident about 2026 – but they’re not shouting about it.”

Optimism doesn’t trend, but it’s everywhere in the background. “The industry’s mood is measured, cautious but quietly positive, built on better hiring, sharper propositions and leaner teams.”

Forecasts for the Months Ahead:

1) Pay Will Reflect Presence (by Office Days)

“This may be controversial, but employers are now thinking about offering pay based on office presence – not as a penalty for remote work, but as recognition of onsite contribution and overheads,” says Kenward. “It’s practical, transparent, and already quietly happening.”

2) More Consolidation Before the Next Uplift

Expect redundancies before recovery, mostly due to mergers and efficiency drives. “For founder-led agencies around £2–10m turnover, my advice is: run lean, stay smart, and scale cleanly. Acquirers are waiting for strong, focused businesses with clear margins.”

3) The C-suite Returns to Strategy

After years firefighting, the C-suite is back to leading, not doing. “There’s renewed demand for solid MDs and Operations Directors who can run the engine room – freeing execs to look outward at strategy, partnerships and growth.”

4) Leaders Are Talking to Each Other – And That’s a Good Thing

Senior leaders are finally comparing notes again. “Peer groups, invite-only lunches and proper, honest conversations are really popular. And the tone is very much collaboration over competition.”

5) Remote-First Will Stay Rare – With Sales the Outlier

“Outside of sales and a handful of technical roles, fully remote will remain niche. Hybrid is here to stay – but with clearer expectations, firmer boundaries and fewer grey areas.”

In short: Q3 marks a reset towards realism – steady leadership, sensible hybrid, human-first AI, and cautious optimism for what’s ahead. “It’s not doom,” says Kenward. “It’s direction. The smart ones are already building for next year.”

Robert Carlyle as Sherlock Holmes —

Robert Carlyle Talks Sherlock’s Reunion With Watson and Pittsburgh Mystery

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

[Warning: The below contains MAJOR spoilers for Watson Season 2 Episode 2 “Back from the Dead.”]

“My dear Watson…” Sherlock Holmes (Robert Carlyle) is back in Dr. John Watson’s (Morris Chestnut) life, and he certainly owes his best friend an explanation. After all, the doctor thought he was dead all this time!

It takes a while, but Sherlock does finally share how he survived his fall at Reichenbach Falls with Moriarty (Randall Park): He didn’t go over until after Watson went in to save him. Rather, he’d set up his enemies, Moriarty and Stapleton, and they both went in. (Should we believe him?) And it’s not just his friend who has brought him to Pittsburgh. As he shares with Watson in the final scene of the episode, a mystery there has caught his attention, and it’s all part of a bigger project. There’s only one crime that matters: who stole the world. “The whole Jenga tower could use a bit of a rattle,” Sherlock says, and he’s planning “a third act surprise.” With that, he leaves — for now.

Below, Robert Carlyle breaks down this episode, teases what’s going on with Sherlock, talks working with Morris Chestnut, and more.

There is of course, the question of whether Sherlock is truly alive or a hallucination of Watson’s. What can you say about that and why we should be considering both, or should we?

Robert Carlyle: Well, as far as I’m concerned, he’s very much alive. The whole idea of that is kind of like a Sherlock Watson type of thing; it’s a mystery in itself for the viewers to try and figure that out.

Sergei Bachlakov/CBS

Talk about working with Morris on that dynamic between Sherlock and Watson, especially in this episode where it’s really such a two-hander between the two of you, with almost all of their scenes in Watson’s apartment.

Yeah, absolutely. It’s an absolute pleasure working with Morris. What an absolutely lovely guy he is. And he made me feel so welcome coming into the show. And I think that we, hopefully, create a nice, interesting dynamic. There’s a nice chemistry between the two of us. It’s always hard to pick that up right away because of course, these guys have known each other for many, many, many years, so you’re sort of throwing this at the audience. For them, it’s the first time seeing those two together. But we have to try and show, no, these guys are friends who’ve known each other for a long, long time. The writing certainly helped that. And I think that the audience very quickly will understand that there’s a deep and very loving relationship between these two guys.

And you can really feel that in that apartment scenes. There’s a little bit of that dance that we know and love, but also, you can definitely feel that deep emotion of seeing someone who’s meant a lot to you again for the first time in a while.

Yeah, I think so. He’s suddenly back and Watson wants to know why he’s done this, why he’s vanished for the past year. Sherlock kind of leads him on, as you say, a dance through this whole thing before he eventually tells him the truth of what had happened that day at Reichenbach Falls. They’ve missed each other. They’ve really, really missed each other. And I think that you see that once they start talking about Watson’s case, that they work with each other really, really well, very, very quickly. That’s what I was trying to do anyway, was to show how much they enjoyed that and how much they missed that.

There is precedent in the canon of Sherlock Holmes for him faking his death. Sherlock does eventually tell Watson how he survived the Falls, claiming that he only went in after Watson did to save him. But he’s also been deceiving Watson all this time into thinking he was dead. Why should Watson believe him now about all of this? How truthful is he being his best friend?

That’s a really good question. Why should he believe him? I don’t know whether he does. I think by the end of that second episode, I don’t think that’s resolved in any way. I still think that that Watson is very, very wary of what is happening, of what this guy actually is. [Laughs] You’re not quite sure what’s going on there. So I don’t know whether he should believe him, I think, to answer your question, and I think the audience also would be quite right to think, “I’m not too sure. Is this a fake? What’s going on?”

Sergei Bachlakov/CBS

Sherlock is in Pittsburgh because he has plans. How much is it also that Sherlock missed his friend, as he says he did dearly? Would he have revealed himself to Watson even without something else drawing him to Pittsburgh?

Yeah, I mean, this is all just mulling in my mind, my own kind of thoughts, but I think so, yes. I think definitely he would’ve eventually got in touch and told him that he was back. There are things that he’s there for. I don’t know whether it comes up, I think it does towards the end of the episode when he talks about the Pittsburgh mystery, there’s this mural — back in the time of the Great Depression in America in the late ’20s, ’30s, there was a series of public murals that were commissioned by the government in an attempt, an effort to keep people working. So, Sherlock believes there’s one of these murals by this artist called Charles Austin, who was famous back in the day for doing these things. And he thinks there’s one of these present in Pittsburgh that’s been lost that’s been painted over.

He does say that there is a mystery in Pittsburgh that’s caught his attention, and it’s all part of a bigger project, that the only crime that matters is who stole the world. The whole Jenga tower, he says, could use a little bit of rattle. And he’s planning a third act surprise. What can you tease about what he’s up to?

Something I can genuinely tell you: I have no idea. I really don’t know what’s going on there. I think it is the way that these TV shows are put together, that there’s a general overall kind of idea. But I think that the writers in the writers’ room start to write this stuff as they go, seeing what the actors bring to it and what they can actually stretch out of this. So, I have absolutely nothing on paper to tell me what the third act surprise is, but we can be sure that there is one for sure.

Sherlock tells Watson goodbye for now. How often are we going to be seeing him around?

I can tell you that he appears in [Episode] 5. And then I think it’s 8, certainly 10, which is the mid-season finale, which is the one that we’re shooting at shooting at the moment. This is where things begin to really ramp up, and there’s a problem with Sherlock. I can tell you that there’s a problem with Sherlock, and Watson wants to try and help his friend through this.

In last season’s finale, Watson, in dealing with Moriarty, ultimately caused their nemesis’ death. How much does Sherlock know what Watson did, and how would he feel about it if he had all the facts?

That is a good question. I don’t actually know how much he knows. I think Sherlock believes that Moriarty is gone. But you never know.

In the world of Sherlock Holmes, as we’ve seen in every iteration, you never know.

You don’t know. He could be back. Is it possible for Sherlock to have a life without Moriarty? I mean, he talks about that. I can’t remember [which] episode, but he talks about, the life that he’s led has been difficult, and with a nemesis lurking in every alleyway and stuff like this. And Episode 10, it is really, really beautifully written that he talks to Watson and tells him how it’s not been easy. What he says is, “Look, I’m Sherlock Holmes. I can solve any crime. I’m not afraid of anything. It’s not been easy.” This thing has taken its toll on him. Maybe this whole life of catching criminals and solving crimes and stuff has taken a toll and maybe ultimately all of this, what has all this been for? And it happens. I mean, I understand that in my age as well because I’m in my 60s now; when you start to get older, you think, what are you leaving behind? And with Sherlock, it’s like, “Well, what is it I’ve actually achieved?” There’s a beautiful, beautiful bit in Episode 10. And he says, “One thing’s for sure. At the exact literal moment of my death, someone somewhere will murder somebody else. So what’s it really all for?” That’s where his mind is. He’s not what he was. He’s older and he’s thinking about his legacy and whether that’s worth anything. Maybe this Pittsburgh mural is actually worth more than all these crimes that he solved in the past.

And mortality is obviously a looming presence, a constant weight on your shoulders, really, no matter how old you are.

Exactly, exactly. That’s what Craig [Sweeny] and the writers are trying to do with Sherlock.

What does Sherlock think of Watson’s life as it is now?

I think he’s saddened that he’s not with Mary Morstan [Rochelle Aytes]. I think he’s saddened by that because he thought those two would’ve been together by now. The fact that there’s someone else, I don’t think he’s very happy about that.

Yes. He seems skeptical of Laila (Tika Sumpter). Why is that? Is he just a big Watson and Mary stan at this point?

[Laughs] That’s exactly what he is.

How intrigued do you think Sherlock is by someone like Ingrid (Eve Harlow)?

Well, who knows. I mean, at this point he’s only going by what he hears and what Watson’s telling him. I think it’s very funny when he calls her your nemesis. I love that. So, I don’t think he trusts her at all.

‘All in this together’: Robert De Niro calls on Americans to protest – National

by jummy84 October 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Robert De Niro is encouraging people in the United States to join the “No Kings” protests against U.S. President Donald Trump, happening across America on Oct. 18.

In a video shared to Instagram, De Niro, 82, spoke about the “original ‘No Kings’ protest” that took place 250 years ago.

“Americans decided they didn’t want to live under the rule of King George III. They declared their independence and fought a bloody war for democracy,” De Niro said. “We’ve had two and a half centuries of democracy since then. Often challenging, sometimes messy, always essential. And we’ve fought in two World Wars to preserve it.”

“Now we have a would-be king who wants to take it away — King Donald the First. F— that,” the Oscar winner continued. “We’re rising up again, this time non-violently raising our voices to declare, ‘No Kings.’”

“I’m Robert De Niro asking you to stand up and be counted in the nationwide ‘No Kings’ protest on October 18th,” the actor said, concluding. “We’re all in this together — indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

The “No Kings” protests first took place this year in hundreds of American cities on June 14 during a military parade in Washington that marked the U.S. army’s 250th anniversary, which coincided with Trump’s birthday.

The protests were held to counter what organizers said were Trump’s plans to feed his ego on his 79th birthday (which was also Flag Day). The “No Kings” theme was orchestrated by the 50501 Movement — which stands for 50 states, 50 protests, one movement, and is made up of members of the American public who say they stand for democracy and against what they call the authoritarian actions of the Trump administration.

Protesters have called for Trump to be “dethroned,” as they compare his actions to that of a king and not a democratically elected president.

“They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services,” the group says on its website, referring to the Trump administration and its policies. “They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.”

Stephen Colbert also called for people to join the protests on Tuesday’s episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

“In response to all this obvious abuse of authoritarian power by the administration, this weekend, ladies and gentlemen, there will be 2,500 rallies across the United States under the banner of the ‘No Kings’ protest,” Colbert said, before cutting to a clip of U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson referring to the protests as the “Hate America rally.”

“Hate America? It’s ‘No Kings.’ America does not like kings. There are only three good kings in America: Gayle (King), Stephen (King) and Burger (King),” he added.

The “No Kings” coalition responded to Johnson’s comments, referring to the protest as the “Hate America rally” and blaming it for “the ongoing government shutdown.”

“Speaker Johnson is running out of excuses for keeping the government shut down. Instead of reopening the government, preserving affordable healthcare, or lowering costs for working families, he’s attacking millions of Americans who are peacefully coming together to say that America belongs to its people, not to kings,” the group said, adding that they will “see everyone on October 18.”

Robert Irwin earned huge appreciation (and more fans) for his emotional performance on US Dancing With The Stars. On Wednesday, October 15, the 21-year-old wildlife warrior moved the audience with an emotional tribute to his mother, Terri Irwin.

Robert’s grief journey after his father Steve Irwin’s death has often been documented, but this time, he decided to honor his mother during the Dedication Night. All the contestants honored their loved ones with their performances that night.

Robert moved the audience to tears as he danced to ‘You’ll Be In My Heart’ by Phil Collins, alongside Witney Carson. He dedicated the dance to his mother and “all the moms who don’t get the recognition they deserve.” He shared an emotional moment with DWTS judge Bruno Tonioli after his Dedication Night performance with his mother.

‘She’s an absolute hero to me’

Robert tearfully opened up about his love for his mother Terri, saying, according to Hello! Magazine, “She’s an absolute hero to me. I was 2 when I lost dad, and as I got older, I suddenly realized how hard it would have been for her to be there for us and all the while continue dad’s legacy that her and dad built together. I’ve never really been able to capture the feeling of gratitude that I feel for her. And at every milestone when I just wish that my dad was there, she was there. And that was enough. I struggle a lot with losing dad, and she always made sure that my dad was present in our lives. I want her to know how proud my dad would be of her.”

Robert also talked about the performance in an X post. “Tonight I dance for my mum, the strongest person I know. My mum and dad created a legacy that I’m proud to continue. I hope I can use this dance to share what she means to me, to our family, and to say thank you for always supporting me through life’s ups and downs. See you tonight,” he wrote, sharing photos of his family.

Terri, too, spoke out about her love for her children. “After we lost Steve, it was difficult to smile again for quite a while. So for him to say ‘you lifted me up,’ honestly, it was the opposite. Because of them, I could get up every morning,” she said.

Robert Pattinson has “so much more patience” since becoming a father.

Robert Pattinson has become more patient thanks to fatherhood

The 39-year-old actor welcomed a daughter – whose name has not been publicly revealed – with his fiancee Suki Waterhouse in March 2024 and he confessed that he has been “surprised” at how parenthood has changed him.

Robert told ICON magazine: “I have so much more patience. It’s funny, it’s not even patience; I genuinely enjoy hanging out with babies. That surprised me.”

The Batman star also quipped about how amusing it is to have “real conversations about things like schools or daycares”.

He said: “It’s so strange. It’s like, there’s this gravitational pull… Like, I have to wear Patagonia puffer jackets and cargo shorts now. I just have to.”

Pattinson revealed earlier this year that he has a new “energy” since becoming a dad.

Speaking at a press conference alongside Jennifer Lawrence to promote their film Die, My Love at the Cannes Film Festival, the Twilight actor said: “I think, in the most unexpected ways, having a baby gives you the biggest trove of energy and inspiration afterward. It’s a different kind of energy.

“Ever since she was born, it’s reinvigorated the way I approach work, and yeah, you’re a completely different person the next day.”

The Harry Potter star admitted parenthood has made him keen to take on another family-friendly role in the future.

Asked if he is open to doing a kids-focused film in the future, he said: “I’d love to.

“I’m always kinda open to anything.

“Whatever takes my interest is always so shocking to me. I’m like, ‘We’ll just see what’s coming.'”

Pattinson explained earlier this year that he had become fixated with his daughter’s smell and is able to tell her apart by scent alone.

He told Vogue: “I remember people used to be like, ‘Oh, don’t you like the smell of babies?’, but I thought they were just smelling the baby powder.

“But then I had a baby, and I was like, ‘My baby smells incredible.’

“There’s something there, I can identify her. She doesn’t smell like other babies.”

Robert also revealed he had become an “expert” when it comes to dealing with dirty nappies.

He told Extra: “I’m an expert, like, the stealth nappy when the baby doesn’t even know they’ve had their nappy changed.”

Robert Reed Hated ‘The Brady Bunch’ — Why Did He Return for the Sequels?

It was no secret that Robert Reed often clashed with the writers and producers of The Brady Bunch; in 1972, in the middle of the show’s run, he gave an interview with the Courier-Post where he commented, “The ineptitude of the scripts can be overpowering … It could be a good show, but we’re operating at 30 percent capacity, I think.” He even famously skipped participating in the show’s final episode, simply because he thought the plot was too stupid. Because of this, many fans have wondered why Reed showed up for the show’s many sequels: he performed in The Brady Bunch Hour variety show, as well as the specials The Brady Girls Get Married and  A Very Brady Christmas, and the 1990 sequel series The Bradys. According to creator Sherwood Schwartz, Reed didn’t come back because he needed money; rather, it turns out that he didn’t want to miss out on key family moments that the show was built around.

First Look at Robert Carlyle as Sherlock Holmes in Season 2 Trailer

For those wondering how Watson would reveal that Sherlock Holmes is alive since Robert Carlyle was cast in the recurring role, well, TV Insider’s exclusive debut of the Season 2 trailer ahead of the October 13 premiere appears to do just that!

“Everything changes, Dr. Watson. Everything,” someone says as we watch Dr. John Watson (Morris Chestnut) leave Laila (Tika Sumpter) in bed. He then finds someone raiding his fridge. “My dear Watson,” Sherlock Holmes greets him to his surprise.

Watson began with the presumed death of the iconic detective, Watson’s best friend, at Reichenbach Falls when he faced off with the villain Moriarty (Randall Park). But over the course of the first season, Moriarty was revealed to be alive, messed with Watson’s work, and, ultimately, died due to the doctor’s actions. Since there hadn’t been a body, the major question had been whether Sherlock survived as well. Now, we have the answer.

CBS

The trailer, which you can watch above, offers a look at Watson’s work as “the world’s greatest doctective,” more from Sherlock, and Watson’s ex-wife Mary (Rochelle Aytes) insisting, “You push boundaries. This is what you do.” Is that related to her mother?

Watson is kicking off its second season with Mary’s mother the patient in the premiere. “A Son in the Oven.” Watson and his fellows take her on as their patient when she accidentally poisons herself while suffering from a rare form of dementia that’s progressing with impossible speed.

“She is suffering from a mysterious and fast progressing form of dementia, believing that she is 25 years old and pregnant with her first child,” executive producer Craig Sweeny told us for our Fall Preview.

As for Watson‘s version of the dynamic between the doctor and Sherlock Holmes, that, now, “is a work in progress,” according to Chestnut. The two are also equals, with Watson having more time under his belt as a detective with his medical cases, as we saw in Season 1.

“Morris is so commanding in the role of Watson that I stopped worrying about the character sharing the spotlight with Sherlock Holmes,” Sweeny shared.

He also teased that Sherlock “very much has his own agenda,” which will have him “dropping in and out of Watson’s life in Pittsburgh. Holmes doesn’t share [everything] with Watson at first, and the parts he does share leaves Watson a little unsettled.”
