Sublime Revisiting Third LP In Full At Red Rocks

Sublime will honor the 30th anniversary of their classic self-titled third album during an April 17-18 stand at Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver, and will perform the LP in its entirety for the first time ever at the first of the two gigs, SPIN can exclusively reveal. Tickets go on sale Friday (Nov. 14).

Sublime was released in July 1996, two months after frontman Bradley Nowell died of a heroin overdose at the age of 28. Despite the tragedy, it sold five million copies thanks to the enduring punk/rock/reggae-infused hits “What I Got,” “Wrong Way” and “Santeria.”

The band returned to activity last year, with Nowell’s son Jakob taking over for him on lead vocals in tandem with the original rhythm section of drummer Bud Gaugh and bassist Eric Wilson. Sublime’s latest single, “Ensanada,” spent seven weeks atop the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart, and will be featured on a new album, Till the Sun Explodes, due out sometime next year.

“Red Rocks Amphitheatre is one of the world’s most spiritual places,” Gaugh tells SPIN. “You can feel the power generated by the Earth here! I can’t think of a better place to play, for the first time, the Sublime self-titled album from cover to cover, than Red Rocks. One of our most magnificent albums on one the most magical stages, if not the most magical stage in the world.”

Adds Wilson, “Red Rocks is absolutely my favorite place to play in the world. The sound is amazing and I can’t wait to get back there and share this special event with everyone.”

Sublime’s other 2026 tour dates include the Innings Festival in Tempe, Az., on Feb. 22, Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, in mid-May, and the U.K.’s multi-city Slam Dunk festival on May 23-24. Beforehand, the group will play a handful of radio station-sponsored holiday concerts next month in Tulsa, Ok., Chicago, San Jose, Ca., and Los Angeles.

Thamma’s ending has left the audience buzzing about the future of Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. At the end of the movie, a monstrous version of Sarkata appeared in Vetaal’s prison and fled with Yakshasan.

However, the appearance of Sarkata comes as a big surprise to everyone, especially after the ending and post-credit scene of Stree 2. In this article, let’s revisit the ending of Stree 2 and the post-credit scene, along with the question: whether Sarkata is still alive in Thamma?

Revisiting Stree 2 Ending & Post-Credit Scene

Stree 2 ended with the victory of Shraddha Kapoor’s character, as she defeated Sarkata with the help of her mother, Stree’s powers, and assistance from Vicky, i.e, Rajkummar Rao’s character.

The team managed to throw Sarkata in a pool full of lava, which eventually burned his entire body. Later, in the post-credit scene, Akshay Kumar’s character was seen drinking from a lava pot, which appeared to be the same lava in which Sarkata was thrown at the end.

Is Sarkata From Stree 2 Back In Thamma, Or Is It Akshay Kumar’s Evil Character?

One of the major debates among the audience after watching Thamma is whether the Sarkata is the new version of Akshay Kumar after drinking from the lava pot, or if it is the same Sarkata who was already killed in Stree 2.

With the lava-structured body of Sarkata in Thamma, it seems that he somehow survived despite facing defeat in the second installment of Stree. Also, with the gigantic size of the body, it’s unlikely that Akshay Kumar was behind Sarkata’s new version in Maddock’s latest film.

The original Sarkata likely resurfaced with its modified version, which is stronger than before. However, Akshay Kumar’s character could probably have played a crucial role in Sarkata’s resurgence.

Additionally, Akshay’s character could be the mastermind and the controlling power behind the lava monster. He might have ordered him to free Yakshasan from Vetaal to form an evil army force.

A tooth-bearing, eye-crinkling grin. A short manicure on animated hands. As she aged in the public eye, Keaton’s sense of joy was unaffected by the standards and stereotypes pushed on women in Hollywood. She refused to be told that she was “too old” for anything, but she also never tried to look younger.

Keaton’s beauty formula was always relatively simple. With just days left until Bigg Boss 19 premieres on Colors and JioHotstar, the hype surrounding the Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show is only growing. While reports circulate with names of potential contestants, die hard fans of the show will begin the countdown of who deserves the BB19 winner’s crown the minute all 15 contestants are introduced.

As we wait to know who the 15 contestants are – and wait to see them entertain us for around 5 months, scroll below to check out the previous 18 winners and know what each one of them took home along with the trophy.

Pass Bigg Boss Winner & The Prize Money They Won

Over the last 18 seasons, the show saw a number of different celebrities how the show – such as Arshad Warsi, Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan, it also witnessed the winners talking home varying amounts of prize money. While several of the initial winners won Rs 1 crore along with the trophy, the prize amount saw a decline over the years. In fact, at one point, the winner only received Rs 30 lakh.

  • Season 4 – Shweta Tiwari – Shweta emerged as the show’s first ever woman winner and won Rs 1 crore after defeating The Great Khali during the grand finale.
  • Season 5 – Juhi Parmar – The Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan fame took home the trophy and Rs 1 crore after beating Mahek Chahal in 2012.
  • Season 6 – Urvashi Dholakia – Urvashi won the season by beating Imam Siddiqui and won Rs 50 lakh along with the trophy.
  • Season 7 – Gauahar Khan – The soon-to-be mother beat Tanishaa Mukherji and took home a whopping Rs 50 lakh along with the title.
  • Season 8 – Gautam Gulati – This season – which saw both Salman Khan and Farah Khan as its host, resulted in Gulati winning the show and a prize money of Rs 50 lakh.
  • Season 9 – Prince Narula – By beating Rishab Sinha, Prince Narula took home the coveted trophy and a prize money of Rs 50 lakh.
  • Season 10 – Manveer Gurjar – The first commoner to win the show, Gurjar defeated Bani J and took home the Rs 50 lakh as well as the trophy.
  • Season 11 – Shilpa Shinde – Shinde received more votes than Hina Khan in 2018, and emerged as the winner of BB11 with a cash prize of Rs 44 lakh.
  • Season 12 – Dipika Kakar – The Sasural Simar Ka actress beat cricketer S Sreesanth and went home with a prize amount of Rs 30 lakh.
  • Season 13 – Sidharth Shukla – The much-loved now-late actor didn’t win just BB13 and millions of hearts by beating Asim Riaz, but he also took home Rs 50 lakh as a cash prize.
  • Season 14 – Rubina Dilaik – The Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress didn’t just impress us with her fashion but with her game too. She defeated Rahul Vaidya to win the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 36 lakh.
  • Season 15 – Tejasswi Prakash – Teju defeated Pratik Sehajpal to win the show and Rs 40 lakh.
  • Season 16 – MC Stan – He won Rs 31.8 lakh.
  • Season 17 – Munawar Faruqui – He won Rs 50 lakh.
  • Season 18 – Karan Veer Mehra – He won Rs 50 lakh.

Where & When To Watch BB19

Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 will premiere on August 24. The show will stream on JioHotstar at 9 pm followed by a telecast on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. This season’s official first look – including the logo, was unveiled on July 25. Its teaser was unveiled on July 31 and received a positive response. On August 7, JioHotstar and Colors TV released the trailer featuring Salman Khan. It also provided details about the season’s theme – Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar. As per reports, this year the show introduces a parliament-inspired setting where housemates wield authority over key decisions, from alliances to tasks.
