Not the neo-soul legend! Roommates, the entertainment industry lost an icon today. Grammy-winning singer D’Angelo reportedly died. He was 51. His death comes months after Angie Stone, the mother of ` son, passed away from a severe car crash.
TMZ was the first to report D’Angelo’s death, citing “sources connected to his family” and his former manager, Kedar Massenburg. As mentioned, the outlet noted that the singer died on October 14 in New York City. He was reportedly battling pancreatic cancer privately. At this time, it’s unclear how long he had been diagnosed or what stage he was in.
Additionally, there are no known details about where he passed and whether he was in a hospital, at home, or with loved ones. Memorial details are not out yet. He has three surviving children, two sons and a daughter, from previous relationships.
Twenty minutes after The Shade Room posted D’Angelo’s passing on Instagram, over 10,700 reactions poured into the comment section. Even celebrities shared their shock and condolences, from Nelly writing “Damn” to Joseline Hernandez sharing crying emojis and Porsha Williams opting for broken heart and praying emojis.

D4vd has possibly made executive decisions as law enforcement continues to investigate how a dead teenager was found in his Tesla. According to TMZ, the singer reportedly transferred the deeds of two of his Texas homes to his mother.
The tabloid reported that the ownership changes for the Houston-area residences were made on Sept. 18 and Sept. 22. On the earlier date, police were reportedly called to one of the houses after a swatting incident falsely reported a shooting and a dead female victim. The caller allegedly used technology to disguise their voice when they made the claim. When law enforcement arrived, D4vd’s parents allegedly answered the door and informed police that his siblings were also in the home.
As the investigation is continued, Los Angeles police still have not named D4vd a suspect in the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Hernandez is believed to have been dead for “several weeks” before her body was discovered last month in the 20-year-old’s impounded vehicle.
“We know for sure that Celeste Rivas Hernandez died and someone placed her body in the front trunk area of David Burke’s [d4vd’s legal name] Tesla. We know that the Tesla had been parked at the location from which it was towed for several weeks, so it is very likely Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been dead for several weeks prior to her body being discovered,” explained LAPD Captain and Commanding Officer Scot M. Williams.
“The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not determined a cause or manner of her death, so we don’t know for sure if anyone has any criminal culpability for her death beyond the concealment of her dead body.”

Hernandez had been reported missing in April 2024 before her remains were discovered.
“Several items of evidence were recovered and will be analyzed by detectives in the coming days,” police detailed after searching a rental property where Burke stayed in the Hollywood Hills. “This is an ongoing investigation. Investigators are following up on several leads.”
D4vd has not made any public remarks regarding the discovery of Hernandez’s body or his alleged ties to the victim. VIBE has contacted representatives for D4vd for a statement.
Disturbed’s upcoming concert in Brussels, Belgium has reportedly been canceled due to safety concerns stemming from singer David Draiman’s support of Israel.
The heavy metal band, as well as Megadeth, were scheduled to perform at the Belgian city’s Forest National venue on Oct. 15. However, the mayor of the municipality where the concert was to take place told the Brussels Times that he ordered the show to be canceled, citing “security risks.”
“My responsibility and priority are the safety of residents, neighbors, demonstrators, spectators and staff at Forest National,” Charles Spapens, the mayor of Forest, told the newspaper. “Given the police’s negative advice and the venue’s unique location, it was my duty to make this decision.”
Months earlier, Spapens lobbied for the gig’s cancellation, noting the controversial photo of Draiman signing an IDF bomb with “Fuck Hamas” during a visit to Israel. “This is about a man who signed a bomb that was dropped on Gaza. We do not support the presence of this artist, and even less so his position on Gaza,” Spapens said, calling the concert “a moral problem.”
Coupled with the “c,” the concert was also scheduled to take place one day after a national strike and other demonstrations, including a prison staff strike in Brussels on Oct. 14, further causing the mayor and local authorities to reassess the Disturbed show, NME reports.
Despite Spapens’ declaration that the Disturbed concert is canceled, tickets for the gig are still listed on Live Nation, as well as still included on the band’s tour website. Disturbed have not yet commented on the Brussels show’s status. The group performed Friday night in Krakow, Poland, and is next set to play Paris, France on Sunday.

Reports on the internet claim that the Nishtha Foundation allegedly did not construct the college and later blamed Amitabh Bachchan’s Seva Sansthan. For over ten years, the villagers patiently awaited the construction of the college. But allegedly, no construction ever took place. While the reports went viral, there has been no written proof of what happened or any recount of the event by anyone in the latest.
After waiting unsuccessfully for the project to begin, the father of a village teacher donated more than 10,000 square meters of land for the college’s construction. Following Big B’s foundation’s decision to halt college work, the residents of Daulatpur raised the necessary funds. And built a college near the Amitabh Bachchan college plot. Why Big B gave up on the project is still unknown, and reports don’t delve into the specifics. So, the reason for this will remain unanswered.

Justin Bieber’s highly anticipated performance at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is reportedly thanks to his wife, Hailey Bieber. A source revealed to US Weekly, “Hailey was a big influence on Justin’s decision to headline Coachella.” The insider continued, “She nudged him and is always in his corner hyping him up.” The “incredibly supportive” 28-year-old reportedly “assured” Bieber that “now is the best time” to make his comeback on the stage, as reported by Page Six.

A second source told the media outlet that the Rhode founder was the “driving force behind Justin doing Coachella”. A longtime fan before becoming his wife in 2018, Hailey reportedly “always reminds him that he’s the Justin Bieber.”
The second source added, “She knows firsthand how much it means to his fans to see him back on stage, so she was like, ‘You have to do this!’” The 31-year-old had previously declined offers to perform at Coachella, but he reportedly changed his mind after dropping his latest albums, Swag and Swag II, this summer, as reported by Page Six.
The first source told US Weekly, “He feels this is the best way to share his new music with fans and is very excited about the opportunity.” The insider added, “He is more in control of his career. He doesn’t have people making decisions for him anymore.”

A source told Rolling Stone, “It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own,” after the announcement. On Friday, September 19, TMZ published an exclusive report alongside footage reportedly showing Stefon Diggs in May 2025. Per the outlet, the footage was captured on May 11 and shows Diggs outside of a medical facility in New York. Furthermore, the clip shows him walking toward a truck with a baby car seat in hand. Per TMZ, an unidentified woman can be seen sitting in the backseat of the truck.

The apparent footage of Stefon Diggs with the baby carrier arrives following recent headlines concerning the NFL star. As The Shade Room previously reported, in December 2024, a model named Aileen Lopera reportedly filed documents asking the court to establish paternity and Digg’s visitation for her then-unborn child. At the time, Lopera reportedly requested legal and physical custody. In April, the model gave birth to a daughter whom she named Charliee Harper Diggs-Lopera.
In July, Diggs reportedly responded to the suit, asserting his uncertainty that the child was his. If the paternity is established, Diggs reportedly is requesting joint legal and physical custody with shared responsibility for “reasonable expenses.”
To note, Diggs is the father of an 8-year-old girl named Nova and is reportedly expecting a child.

On Wednesday (Sept. 17), Los Angeles police searched a home in the affluent neighborhood where D4vd’s #Tesla was first abandoned. As reported, the vehicle was impounded two weeks ago and taken to a Hollywood tow yard. A strong odor ultimately prompted the discovery of a body in the frunk (front trunk), which was later identified as missing #CelesteRivas.
Reportedly, multiple officers spent hours at a Hollywood Hills home, seizing a computer and other items from the residence. TMZ reports that the searched home is where D4vd, David Burke, seemed to be living. Per the outlet, “the house is being rented by Josh Marshall, D4vd’s manager at Interscope.”
Although authorities have yet to confirm D4vd’s connection to Celeste, online speculation is spreading. Footage of him allegedly with the teen, reports of a matching tattoo, and a song he appears to have written about her have all emerged amid the growing allegations.
