The 1975 Remove Song From Streaming Because Matthew Healy Prefers the Album Without It

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

Fans of the 1975 were left puzzled this week by the disappearance from streaming services of “Human Too,” an album track from 2022’s Being Funny in a Foreign Language. Now, Matthew Healy has taken to Reddit to explain its absence: “‘Human Too’ was removed from the album so the album is more how I want it to be,” he wrote. That clears that up, then. The remaining records are safe, Healy added, because he is “pretty happy with them”—with one exception: “What Should I Say” from Notes on a Conditional Form. “So that may also be removed who knows,” he concluded. Catch the latter while you can below.

While it is now commonplace for artists to tweak albums post-release—typically for reasons to do with sample clearance or perfectionism—retroactively wiping a song, three years after the fact, is more of a novelty. Healy notes in his comment, presumably for those unfamiliar with the mechanics of physical media, that “Human Too” still appears on prior physical releases of the album.

bitchy | Mail: Prince William has cleared the way to remove the Sussexes’ titles

by jummy84 November 1, 2025
written by jummy84

From where I sit, there was a tipping point on the Prince Andrew/Mountbatten Windsor situation this month which was years in the making. The Windsors misread the public mood, King Charles dithered and Prince William raged from his tenth vacation of the year. The tipping point on Andrew involved a decades-long cover-up, years of lies and abuse, and one of Andrew’s victims speaking from beyond the grave. The situation is simply not comparable to anything involving the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were bullied and abused by the institution and press, so much so that they simply… left the country almost six full years ago. If Prince Harry’s September trip to the UK was any indication, the British public still loves him and supports him. Andrew, meanwhile, was heckled and called a “nonce” at his mother’s 2022 funeral. My point? It’s bizarre to see so many Sussex supporters and haters alike use the Andrew situation to talk about Harry and Meghan. The Daily Mail’s Maurren Callahan basically had a psychotic episode about the Sussexes in her column published after the Andrew Mountbatten Windsor announcement.

It is now a question of when. Not if. The bombshell announcement out of Buckingham Palace that Andrew has been stripped of his status as a prince immediately, that he will henceforth be known as ‘Mr. Mountbatten Windsor’, and that he has been forced to surrender the lease to Royal Lodge leaves no doubt in my mind: Harry and Meghan are next. The sun begins to set over Montecito — permanently.

And Prince William, as we posited earlier this week, emerges as the apparent force behind these most welcome reforms — despite the official statement having come from the King. This is William’s monarchy now. In that light, Andrew feels more like a pawn removed by William to clear the way for his real target: Harry.

If the late Queen’s favorite son can be coldly ejected and stripped of his birthright — if William can have convinced the infamously conflict-averse Charles to renounce his own brother — well, Harry’s days as prince and Duke of Sussex are surely numbered. As for Meghan? Like Fergie, she would just be collateral damage. An afterthought. Flotsam in search of a shore – perhaps QVC’s Pennsylvania headquarters and where she might shill As Ever overstock on deep discount.

To know that Meghan and Harry may now be consigned to the dustbin of Royal history, perseverating over the remains of the day from the cheap seats, is perhaps the most tantalizing and satisfying finale of the modern age. Sayonara, Sussexes!

Kate, though silent, is doubtless among William’s prime motives in dispatching first with his uncle, and perhaps next his brother. It was Harry who reprinted Kate’s private text messages with Meghan in Spare. It was Harry and Meghan’s cheerleader, their glorified biographer Omid Scobie, who named Kate and Charles as the so-called ‘royal racists.’ If William is just getting started, he surely knows the world is cheering him on, that any further attacks from his brother and sister-in-law, those epic dramatists, would be laughed off and dismissed.

A former royal aide at Kensington Palace, William and Kate’s London residence, told the Daily Mail that ‘now that they’re picking away at the edges [of the family]’ — that would be Andrew — ‘a bigger unravelling is coming.’

That bigger unravelling is, to my mind, Harry and Meghan’s royal titles, status and honors.

‘The role William has — to try to forge something sustainable — is now in stark relief. And no, Charles isn’t up to that job,’ the former aide continued. ‘Once Andrew stops being the convenient cover, then where will people look next?’

[From The Daily Mail]

So… those quotes from a former royal aide are… not about Harry and Meghan, right? “A bigger unravelling is coming” – for the monarchy itself, because this Andrew situation was and is a larger reflection of the monarchy’s corruption and abuses. “Once Andrew stops being the convenient cover, then where will people look next?” Literally, they’ll look to the remaining royals, none of whom are ready for primetime. They’ll look at a dying king, his unhinged, illiterate, workshy heir, and a collection of senior citizens who stagger through their busywork. If and when William “takes away Harry and Meghan’s titles,” it won’t actually mean a thing to Harry and Meghan. They live in California. They own a beautiful mansion. They are free from all of this bullsh-t. Let me say this as well: once the Sussexes stop being the convenient cover, then where will people look next?

Did Kalki 2898 AD Makers Remove Deepika Padukone’s Name From Credits? Here’s The Truth

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

It was announced some time back that Deepika Padukone would not be a part of Kalki 2898 AD’s sequel. And now, netizens feel that after her exit from the film, her name has also been removed from the first instalment. Her fans took to social media to point out that the end credits of Kalki 2898 AD on an OTT platform do not have the actress’ name.

A user posted a video of the end credits on Reddit, which missed out Deepika’s name. This sparked a major discussion on the platform, with some accusing the makers of being ‘petty’. While others argued that this could simply be a backend issue. One comment read, “It’s one thing to have a falling out but this is just downright unprofessional. She’s literally in the film and promoted it. The irony here is that they called Deepika unprofessional but then turn around and behave like this.”

Another netizen added, “Ya they are being petty at this point.” One person also claimed that the Blu-ray version they downloaded doesn’t have Deepika’s name either.

However, another user shared that the actress’ name was never present at the end credits during the release as well. “No it was never there from the beginning. They missed adding her during release also. (which they didn’t bother to correct in ott release also and was already brought to their attention),” the comment read. However, the Hindi version of the film on Netflix has Deepika Padukone’s name in the credits. Posting a screenshot of the same, a user pointed out that it might simply be a backend issue.

However, this issue has divided the internet.

For the uninitiated, Deepika reportedly exited Kalki’s sequel because her request to limit her working hours was not met. She also exited Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit over similar issues.

Meanwhile, the actress will now be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Suhana Khan, and Abhishek Bachchan, among others. She will also appear in Atlee’s upcoming project AA22xA6 alongside Allu Arjun.

Kenny Loggins demands Trump remove his song from AI ‘poop’ video – National

by jummy84 October 21, 2025

Kenny Loggins is speaking out against U.S. President Donald Trump using his song Danger Zone in an AI video posted to his Truth Social account in response to the “No Kings” protests over the weekend.

In a statement shared with Variety on Monday, Loggins, 77, demanded that his song be removed from the AI video showing Trump in a fighter jet dropping what appears to be fecal matter on “No Kings” protesters.

“This is an unauthorized use of my performance of Danger Zone. Nobody asked me for my permission, which I would have denied, and I request that my recording on this video is removed immediately,” Loggins said in the statement.

“I can’t imagine why anybody would want their music used or associated with something created with the sole purpose of dividing us. Too many people are trying to tear us apart, and we need to find new ways to come together,” Loggins continued.

“We’re all Americans, and we’re all patriotic. There is no ‘us and them’ — that’s not who we are, nor is it what we should be. It’s all of us. We’re in this together.”

Loggins said that he hopes “we can embrace music as a way of celebrating and uniting each and every one of us.”

The Loggins song featured in the AI video was famously used in the 1986 Top Gun film, which is what the AI video appears to be paying homage to.

In response to a request for comment on the video, a representative for the White House reportedly sent Variety a Top Gun meme that read: “I feel the need for speed.”

Millions of people marched and rallied in cities across the U.S. on Saturday for “No Kings” demonstrations, decrying what participants see as the government’s swift drift into authoritarianism under Trump.

People carrying signs with slogans such as “Nothing is more patriotic than protesting” or “Resist Fascism” packed New York City’s Times Square and rallied by the thousands in parks in Boston, Atlanta and Chicago.

Demonstrators marched through Washington and downtown Los Angeles and picketed outside capitols in several Republican-led states, a courthouse in Billings, Mont., and at hundreds of smaller public spaces.

The official White House account on X reacted to “No Kings” day by sharing an image of Trump and U.S. Vice-President JD Vance wearing crowns above an image of House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and Sen. Chuck Schumer wearing sombreros.

Trump’s Republican Party disparaged the demonstrations as “Hate America” rallies, including U.S. House Speaker Mike Johnson.

The “No Kings” coalition responded to Johnson’s comments, referring to the protest as the “Hate America rally” and blaming it for “the ongoing government shutdown.”

“Speaker Johnson is running out of excuses for keeping the government shut down. Instead of reopening the government, preserving affordable healthcare, or lowering costs for working families, he’s attacking millions of Americans who are peacefully coming together to say that America belongs to its people, not to kings,” the group said, adding that they will “see everyone on October 18.”

The “No Kings” protests first took place in hundreds of American cities on June 14 during a military parade in Washington that marked the U.S. army’s 250th anniversary, which coincided with Trump’s birthday.

The protests were held to counter what organizers said were Trump’s plans to feed his ego on his 79th birthday (which was also Flag Day). The “No Kings” theme was orchestrated by the 50501 Movement — which stands for 50 states, 50 protests, one movement — and is made up of members of the American public who say they stand for democracy and against what they call the authoritarian actions of the Trump administration.

Protesters have called for Trump to be “dethroned,” as they compare his actions to those of a king and not a democratically elected president.

“They’ve defied our courts, deported Americans, disappeared people off the streets, attacked our civil rights, and slashed our services,” the group says on its website, referring to the Trump administration and its policies. “They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.”

bitchy | Scooter King William will ‘remove titles’ from the Sussex family & the York family

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Tom Sykes is doing his Royalist Substack full-time now, and he’s had some interesting exclusives, straight from sources close to Scooter King William. That was the case in Sykes’ Daily Beast days as well – his sources are consistently Scooter-adjacent, let’s say. Well, in one exclusive, Sykes was going on and on about how Prince William was claiming credit for Prince Andrew’s title-demotion, all because King Charles is “dying” and William is regent in all but name. Sykes also noted: When William “ascends to the throne, I am told he will issue new letters patent (as royal executive orders are known) to strip Andrew (and Harry, Archie, Lilibet, Eugenie, and Beatrice) of their HRH and Princely titles.” Perhaps sensing that this was a bigger exclusive than “William demands credit for Andrew’s demotion,” Sykes then spun out this Letters Patent story into a second exclusive:

Prince William will strip Prince Andrew, along with all other non-working royals, of their HRHs and princely titles when he ascends to the throne, friends and allies of the Prince have told The Royalist. The dramatic change will be effected by an executive royal order known as “letters patent” ratified by Parliament in the early weeks of the reign of King William V. It will remove princely titles not just from Andrew but also from Beatrice, Eugenie, Harry, Archie, and Lilibet. The children of Prince Edward and Princess Anne have never used princely titles.

Meghan and Harry will also see their dukedoms and HRHs formally revoked by the new king, the source said. Meghan continues to use her HRH despite being ordered not to do so by the late Queen Elizabeth II.

A source said William’s own children may have their titles informally “parked” until they become adults and can decide for themselves if they want to be full-time working royals or lead lives as private citizens. The source said they are never addressed as prince or princess in any situation by their parents, teachers, staff, or family.

As an ally of William’s told The Royalist: “On Wednesday, the king’s office was saying that removing the dukedom would be a completely lame and ineffectual gesture unless you took away the prince title as well. On Friday, it’s suddenly the other way round, and persuading him to drop the duke title, without even taking it away, is being held up as a triumph of the king’s steely will. His operation is a mess.”

Another friend of William’s, who told The Royalist about the plan to remove a huge swathe of princely titles, said: “It should have been done by Charles this week, but William knows he doesn’t have the strength because of his illness. William is understanding of his father’s situation. William won’t be afraid to take the next step.”

They added: “William thinks about Queen Margrethe of Denmark a lot.”

In 2022, Queen Margrethe II removed princely titles from four of her grandchildren—Nikolai, Felix, Henrik, and Athena. The Queen said the decision was made to allow her grandchildren greater freedom to shape their own lives.

The intel gathered on this issue by The Royalist meshes with a report in the London Sunday Times today that Andrew will be excluded from William’s coronation, that he considers his uncle a “threat” to the monarchy, and is deeply concerned about the message Andrew’s presence at royal events sends to victims of sexual abuse.

[From The Royalist Substack]

While this is not the most important thing to note, I can’t help thinking that William’s coronation is going to be really pitiful. He openly loathes the pomp, he hates most of his family, and he hates to work. He’ll probably demand that they pop the crown on his egg head in front of literally twos of people, and then straight from his coronation, he’ll head to one of his castles and no one will see him for weeks.

As for William’s promises to strip almost everyone of their HRHs, ducal titles, what have you… so be it. He’s been threatening that for years, specifically with the Sussexes. At this point, it makes no difference to Harry and Meghan or their children. I find it bizarre that William is so set on “punishing” his niece and nephew, considering he’s only met Archie once or twice and he’s never even been in the same room as Lili. But the Scooter King’s Letters Patent will just show how idiotic the whole thing really is. Either it matters that you’re born into royalty or it doesn’t. Either all of QEII’s descendents have magic royal blood or they don’t. Make up your mind.

Neil Young to Remove Music From Amazon as Singer Slams Jeff Bezos

Neil Young is pulling his music from Amazon, the legendary singer-songwriter revealed in a blog post published on his personal website on Wednesday (Oct. 8).

In an apparent protest against the Trump administration, Young wrote, “The time is here. FORGET AMAZON,” under a header that includes the words, “BEZOS SUPPORTS THIS GOVERNMENT,” a reference to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

“Soon my music will not be there,” Young continued of Amazon. “It is easy to buy local. Support your community. Go to the local store. Don’t go back to the big corporations who have sold out America.”

The revelation came in a post that included a larger call by Young for people to discontinue shopping at Amazon and the upscale grocery chain Whole Foods, which the online retail giant acquired in 2017. He also seemed to call for a boycott of Facebook, writing “FORGET FACEBOOK” under a logo of the social media platform’s parent company, Meta. In August, Young left Facebook after a Reuters report claimed Meta had allowed AI chatbots to communicate with minors using “romantic or sensual” language.

“We all have to give up something to save America from the Corporate Control Age it is entering,” Young continued. “They need you to buy from them. Don’t.”

The singer also referenced the current shutdown of the U.S. government, writing, “They shut down our government your income your safety your family’s health security. Take America Back together, stop buying from the big corporations support local business. Do the right thing. Show who you are.”

Young has been openly critical of President Trump over the years. Last month, he released the song “Big Crime” with his band Chrome Hearts that railed against recent actions by the president — who is never mentioned by name — with lyrics like, “No more money to the fascists/ The billionaire fascists/ Time to blackout the system/ No more great again.”

Young’s music remained available on Amazon Music at the time of publishing. Representatives for Amazon Music and Young’s label, Warner Music/Reprise, did not immediately return requests for comment.

This isn’t the first time Young has boycotted a digital music provider. In January 2022, the star pulled his catalog from Spotify over its lucrative deal with Joe Rogan, through which it retained exclusive rights to, but not ownership of, the host’s wildly popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast. In a post on his website at the time, Young accused Rogan of spreading “misinformation” about the COVID vaccine on the podcast. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both,” he wrote.

Young’s stance inspired several other artists to remove their catalogs from the service, including Joni Mitchell and Young’s Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young bandmates David Crosby, Graham Nash and Stephen Stills. Young restored his music to the streaming giant in March 2024 following the expiration of its exclusive deal with Rogan. The previous September, Billboard estimated that Young’s decision to remove his catalog from Spotify cost him roughly $300,000 in lost recorded music and publishing royalties up to that point.

More recently, artists including Massive Attack, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Deerhoof and Sylvan Esso have pulled their catalogs from Spotify over founder Daniel Ek‘s reported $1 billion investment into defense company Helsing, which sells AI software to inform military decisions.

Dominic Arun’s Kalyani Priyadarshan-starrer Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra received praise for everything but one dialogue. Here’s what happened.

Dominic Arun’s Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen-starrer Lokah: Chapter 1—Chandra is receiving praise for everything except one dialogue line in the superhero film. After numerous Kannadigas took to social media to call out Dulquer Salmaan, the film’s producer, and the rest of the team, his production house, Wayfarer Films, issued an apology. The controversy explained. (Also Read: Lokah’s 2 post-credits scenes, star cameos in Kalyani Priyadarshan’s film explained: Here’s how the sequel is set up)

Sandy’s character Inspector Nachiyappa Gowda utters the dialogue in Lokah Chapter 1 that offended Kannadigas.

The dialogue from Lokah that offended Kannadigas

In Lokah, Sandy plays the antagonist, Inspector Nachiyappa Gowda, who is openly misogynistic toward everyone, from his mother to his female higher-up. In a scene when his mother asks him to marry a girl from Bengaluru, he refuses, calling Bengaluru girls a slang word for characterless. He says, “I am not saying I won’t get married. But I won’t marry a girl from this city because they’re all s***s.” After the film was released, Kannadigas took to X to criticise Lokah not just for the dialogue but also for the partying and drug usage scenes featuring Naslen’s character Sunny.

On Tuesday evening, Wayfarer Films issued a statement on social media, apologising for hurting the sentiments of Kannadigas. It read, “It has come to our attention that a dialogue delivered by one of the characters in our film Lokah: Chapter One has unintentionally hurt the sentiments of people from Karnataka. At Wayfarer Films, we place people above everything else.” They added, “We deeply regret this oversight and assure you that no offence was intended. The dialogue in question will be removed/edited at the earliest. We sincerely apologise for the hurt caused and humbly request you to accept our apology.”

Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra will be released in Hindi on 4 September. It was released in theatres in Malayalam and Telugu on 28 August. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays the titular superhero Chandra in the film.
