Over a decade after its original release, Suriya’s action-packed drama Anjaan is returning to the big screen. Directed by N Lingusamy, the film originally hit theatres in August 2014 amid high expectations. Now, the producers, Thirrupathi Brothers have announced plans for a theatrical re-release with a re-edited cut. The Cast and Crew: A Star-Studded Ensemble
Anjaan features Suriya in two roles: Krishna, a man arriving in Mumbai searching for his estranged brother, Raju Bhai (also played by Suriya), a feared underworld figure. Samantha Ruth Prabhu stars opposite him as the female lead, while Vidyut Jammwal, Manoj Bajpayee, and Dalip Tahil round out a strong supporting cast.
On the technical side, the film brought together some of Tamil cinema’s most celebrated names. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music, Santosh Sivan handled cinematography, and editor Anthony oversaw the final cut each contributing to the film’s high production values and visual flair.
