The 25th anniversary of the Star Parivaar Awards brought a wave of nostalgia for television fans as iconic duo Shweta Tiwari and Ronit Roy reunited on stage to recreate their unforgettable chemistry from the cult-favorite show Kasautii Zindagii Ki. As part of the celebrations, the two stars reprised their roles as Prerna Sharma and Rishabh Bajaj, performing to the emotional title track “Chahat Ke Safar Mein”.

The performance, which aired on Star Plus and was later shared across its official social media platforms, quickly went viral, striking a chord with fans who grew up watching the show. Shweta Tiwari stunned the audience in a bold red gown, a color that holds deep symbolic value in the show’s narrative. Her glamorous appearance, paired with Ronit Roy’s charismatic presence, took viewers on a trip down memory lane. First aired in 2001, Kasautii Zindagii Ki ran successfully until 2008 on Star Plus. Created by Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms, and directed by Santram Verma, the show became a milestone in Indian television history. The story revolved around Prerna Sharma and Cezanne Khan, whose tragic love story filled with heartbreak, sacrifice, and fate-driven challenges captivated millions.

Midway through the series, Ronit Roy joined the cast as Bajaj, a powerful businessman whose entry changed the course of Prerna’s life. Their complex relationship brought new depth to the narrative and became one of the most talked-about arcs in the show’s history. No mention of Kasautii Zindagii Ki is complete without Komolika, one of Indian television’s most iconic villains. Portrayed by Urvashi Dholakia, Komolika’s fashion and cunning made her a pop culture phenomenon. She too was present at the awards and shared the stage with Shweta Tiwari, much to the delight of fans.

Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan recently delighted fans by announcing their collaboration in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan. Now, the two actors are set to reunite on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show, Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle. A leaked promo of the upcoming episode has given fans a glimpse of the duo’s lively banter and engaging conversation.

The promo opens with Kajol and Twinkle introducing Akshay and Saif as “Khiladi and Anari”, a nod to their hit 1990s film Main Khiladi Tu Anari. The actors then recreate the iconic hook step from the movie, much to the audience’s delight. Akshay, in his trademark humorous style, quips, “In my opinion, the show should be named Two Cheetahs.” The clip also shows Saif bursting into laughter as Twinkle and Akshay jokingly argue over who first claimed, “An astrologer predicted their marriage.”

The episode promises more than just light-hearted fun. Akshay and Saif also share their thoughts on marriage, with Akshay remarking, “Every husband should be a good listener.” Saif amusingly adds, “Or at least look like a good listener.” The tone shifts briefly when Saif recalls a frightening incident: “I had been stabbed in the leg and there was blood everywhere. I remember Taimur looking up to me and asking, ‘Are you going to die?’ I said, no, I don’t think so.” Kajol responded emotionally, hugging Saif and calling him a “real hero.”

While fans were thrilled to see Akshay and Saif, many expressed their wish to see Akshay and Ajay together on the show. One of the comments read, “next time please invite Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan.” Another wrote, “Ajay and Akshay should come here.” Another comment read, “Missing Ajay.”

The talk show premiered on 25 September with Salman Khan and Aamir Khan as the first guests. The second episode, released on 2 October, featured Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, much to the joy of “Varia” fans who loved seeing their playful camaraderie once again. The pair reminisced about on-set memories, shared secrets, and even spoke about their children. New episodes stream every Thursday on Prime Video.

About Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming film

The actors will soon be seen together in Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan, said to be a Hindi remake of the 2016 Malayalam film Oppam, which starred Mohanlal. The project marks Akshay and Saif’s reunion after 17 years and is currently in production, with a release scheduled for 2026.

The use of AI is increasing with each passing day, and with it come its pros and cons. Now the voices of legendary singers are being cloned with the help of AI, and new versions of songs are being released, which are getting popular as well. Seeing this, popular Bollywood singer Shaan got angry and called it wrong and unethical, and severely reprimanded those people who are making songs in the voice of old singers using AI.

Let us tell you that in the recent past, many such videos and songs have gone viral on social media, which were made using AI. Recently, people used AI to clone the voice of the title track of ‘Saiyara’. And then a new song of ‘Saiyara’ was made and released in the voice of singer Kishore Kumar. The song went viral and was liked a lot on social media, but this growing trend of ‘AI voice cloning’ has made people worried for authenticity.

Shaan said that the songs or videos being made using AI are an insult to the artists and singers of the past. People are being cruel to them. Talking to one of the media houses, the singer said, ‘I find this AI very cruel when they try to make songs like ‘Ye gana agar Kishore da gaate, ye gana agar Mohammad Rafi gaate. What they sang in the 40s, 60s, and 80s was very different. So if they were singing today, it would be very different again.’

Shaan further said, ‘It is wrong that you make that song as if they had sung that song. This is not necessary. You cannot create an AI of someone whose singing has been so dynamic. So it is wrong to take the tone of any four songs and make a lot of tracks and covers from it.’ Shaan called the audience ‘naasamajh’ because they mistook the voice of AI for the voice of a real singer. He urged music lovers not to listen to such AI tracks, but to enjoy the songs of Kishore Kumar, which he sang in his time.
