Salman Khan to Record New Song After Battle of Galwan’s Filming?

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

Salman Khan is reportedly preparing to record a song after wrapping the shoot of Battle of Galwan. While the initial reports state that he is ready to return to the recording studios, the actor hasn’t confirmed the same. If the plans are on, it will be his first single since Jee Rahe The Hum of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He has also sung tracks like Chandi Ki Daal Par, Hangover and Main Hoon Hero Tera. He was also active as a singer during the lockdown period, owing to COVID-19.

As per the Mid Day report, Producer Anshul Garg confirmed it. He said, “We have been in talks to record a single for some time, but right now Salman bhai is busy with many projects. He has loved a couple of songs, which I have composed. When he chooses the song and is ready to record it, he will call me.”

Salman was recently seen celebrating fashion designer Vikram Phadnis’ 35 years in the industry. Salman walked the ramp for the designer in a black sherwani.

On the professional front, the actor has begun his second schedule for the Battle of Galwan recently. The shoot will be over by November, but the makers haven’t confirmed the same yet. During an interview with India Today, Salman had previously shared about his experience of working on Battle of Galwan. He said, “It’s slow I’m not feeling it yet. But I will especially I feel the cold water, that’s for sure – I am definitely feeling it since shooting in Ladakh.”

It will be interesting to note if Salman also sings a song or two for the movie. The plans of the movie have been kept under the wraps, including the major plot points.

Kantara: Chapter 1 Collections: Rishab Shetty’s Film Scripts New Record

by jummy84 October 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Kantara: Chapter 1, the highly anticipated prequel to Rishab Shetty’s blockbuster Kantara, has surpassed all expectations. The film is scripting new records at the box office with each passing day. According to early estimates from trade sources, the film has grossed just over Rs 650 crore worldwide, further cementing its position as one of the biggest Indian hits of 2025.

Magical second Monday

Many thought Kantara: Chapter 1 would slow down on its second Monday, but it turns out the film continues its magnificent run at the box office. The film minted an impressive Rs 13.5 crore net in India, bringing its domestic total to Rs 451.90 crore. Breaking down the language-wise earnings, the Kannada and Hindi versions each brought in Rs 4.75 crore, while the Tamil version collected Rs 1.5 crore. The Telugu and Malayalam versions followed with Rs 1.35 crore and Rs 1.15 crore, respectively, on Monday. The lack of no other major film is working big time in Kantara: Chapter 1’s favour. Still, the staggering numbers have shocked the distributors and exhibitors.

Kantara Chapter 1 collections

Film continues to show box office supremacy

The film’s worldwide gross currently stands at Rs 652 crore, and with overseas markets performing steadily, trade experts believe the final number could surpass Rs 700 crore in the coming days. Rishab Shetty is leaving nothing to chance and is still aggressively promoting the film.

Directed and headlined by Rishab Shetty, Kantara: Chapter 1 delves deeper into the mystical folklore and spiritual themes that made the original film a phenomenon. The larger scale, intense performances, and immersive storytelling have resonated with audiences across languages. Even with the post-festival slowdown, the film continues to dominate multiplexes and single screens alike. With positive word of mouth and solid occupancy rates in key regions, the film is expected to maintain its strong hold at the box office till Diwali festival week.

Taken Out of Context: Rajat Bedi Sets The Record Straight On Rakesh Roshan, His Move To Canada

by jummy84 October 6, 2025
written by jummy84

After the resounding success of The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, actor Rajat Bedi has found himself in the midst of a controversy he never saw coming. What began as a triumphant comeback for the actor best known for playing Raj Saxena—the stylish antagonist opposite Hrithik Roshan in Koi Mil Gaya (2003)—has unexpectedly turned into a misunderstanding over an old interview clip that recently went viral.

The actor has now spoken out, clarifying that the entire controversy began after a 2023 interview with veteran actor Mukesh Khanna was edited and circulated online in a misleading way. The manipulated clip, according to Rajat, distorted his statements about filmmaker Rakesh Roshan and implied that he had left India out of disappointment after being “sidelined” during Koi Mil Gaya promotions. “My comments were taken out of context,” Rajat said, adding that his casual conversation about career choices and personal life was twisted into sensational clickbait.

“In that interview, I only mentioned that I moved to Canada after Koi Mil Gaya released,” Rajat explained. “But it was presented as though I left because I was ignored during the film’s promotions. That’s completely untrue. How can someone do that just to get views and engagement? It’s deeply unfair.”

Setting the record straight, Rajat emphasised that his relationship with the Koi Mil Gaya team—especially Rakesh Roshan—has always been one of admiration and gratitude. He described Roshan as a filmmaker who was deeply involved in every aspect of his projects, often performing scenes himself to help his actors grasp the emotion and intent of each moment. “I share a very good bond with Rakesh sir,” Rajat said. “He’s one of the most hardworking and passionate directors I’ve ever worked with. When I saw headlines suggesting that I had issues with him, I was shocked. That’s not who I am, and that’s not what I said.”

Rajat went on to explain that his move to Canada was purely a personal decision, driven by the need for stability rather than any professional fallout. At the time, despite being a familiar face in Bollywood with roles in films like International Khiladi and Koi Mil Gaya, he felt uncertain about his long-term prospects in the industry. “I had work, I had fame, but there was no stability,” he said. “Life in Mumbai was glamorous but unpredictable. I had to think about my family, my future, and what kind of life I could build. So I made the choice to move to Canada and try something new.”

In Vancouver, Rajat switched gears entirely, exploring real estate and business opportunities. While the transition wasn’t easy, he says it gave him a renewed sense of purpose and a chance to reflect on what he truly wanted from life. “Those years away from films taught me a lot,” he admitted. “It wasn’t just about survival; it was about growth. I realised how much I missed the camera, the sets, the entire energy of filmmaking.”

That realisation led him back to India and, eventually, to his recent career revival with The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, which has earned him widespread praise. The series, backed by Netflix and Aryan Khan’s production banner, marks a turning point for Rajat — not only in terms of visibility but also in reclaiming his narrative on his own terms. “I’m finally doing the kind of work I’ve always wanted to do,” he said. “I don’t want people to remember me only as the villain from Koi Mil Gaya. I want them to see that I have evolved, both as an actor and as a person.”

Reflecting on the online storm that reignited attention on his past, Rajat maintained that while the experience was frustrating, it also reminded him of the importance of authenticity in the digital age. “Today, a few seconds of an edited clip can completely change your image,” he said. “But the truth always comes out eventually. I’m grateful that I’ve had the chance to clarify what really happened.”

For now, Rajat is focused on his second innings in the entertainment industry — one built not on controversy, but on craft, patience, and renewed confidence. “After everything that’s happened, I’ve learnt not to let the noise get to me,” he said. “I’m just happy to be back on screen, doing what I love — this time, on my own terms.”

Kantara Chapter 1 Takes The Lead! Enters 100 Crore Club In Record Time, Leaves Competition Behind! | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 5, 2025
written by jummy84

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 has taken the Indian box office by storm, becoming the top choice for moviegoers across the country. Despite receiving mixed reviews, this Kannada mythological action drama has quickly proven its box office might, entering the ₹100 crore club in just 48 hours.

According to early estimates, the film earned between ₹43–₹45 crore net on Day 2, following a stellar opening of ₹61.85 crore on Day 1. That brings its total to an estimated ₹104.85–₹106.85 crore net across all languages within two days—a remarkable feat for a regional film. Even on a regular working Friday, Kantara Chapter 1 maintained strong momentum, seeing only a 27–30% drop from its debut day. The movie is now setting new standards for Sandalwood and has emerged as serious competition for other major releases, including Jolly LLB 3, especially in the Hindi-speaking markets.

Box Office Breakdown (India, all languages):

Day 1: ₹61.85 crore

Day 2: ₹43–45 crore (early estimates)

Total (2 days): ₹104.85–106.85 crore

Kantara Chapter 1 vs Original Kantara

The success of Kantara Chapter 1 is a massive leap from the original film. In 2022, Kantara collected just ₹4.60 crore in its first two days. It took the original film 17 days to cross the ₹100 crore mark after its dubbed versions were released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam. In stark contrast, the prequel has reached that milestone in just two days, highlighting the power of franchise recognition and the growing appeal of Rishab Shetty’s storytelling.

With two more days remaining in its extended opening weekend, Kantara Chapter 1 is poised to break more records and solidify its place as one of 2025’s biggest box office successes.

Zach Bryan Sets Record for Largest Single Concert in US History

by jummy84 September 29, 2025
written by jummy84

Zach Bryan made history on multiple fronts during his concert at Michigan Stadium this past Saturday, September 27th. He not only became the first musical artist to play the Ann Arbor college football stadium, but also set a new record for the largest ticketed single concert in US history.

Drawing a crowd of 112,408 to “The Big House,” Bryan broke a record previously held by George Strait, who brought in 110,905 fans to his concert at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas, in June 2024. Michigan Stadium is the largest stadium in the United States and the third-largest in the world.

The record-breaking evening, which also set a merchandise sales record of $5 million, featured special guest John Mayer. Support was also provided by Ryan Bingham and The Texas Gentlemen and Joshua Slone.

Bryan’s setlist included hits like his breakout “Something in the Orange,” “I Remember Everything” (sans Kacey Musgraves), and “Pink Skies,” as well as fan favorites like “Heading South,” “Oklahoma Smokeshow,” and “Revival,” the latter of which he reportedly played for nearly 30 minutes.

Zach Bryan Breaks U.S. Concert Attendance Record

by jummy84 September 28, 2025
written by jummy84

Although official numbers are still being confirmed, Zach Bryan broke the record for largest U.S. concert last night (Sept. 27) in front of 112,000 fans at Michigan Stadium on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor, Mi., just edging out the 110,905 mark set by George Strait in 2024 in College Station, Tx.

“This might be the craziest thing I’ve ever done,” Bryan told the audience from his in-the-round stage at the first concert ever held at the legendary venue. The 27-song set also featured a guest turn by opening act John Mayer on the Grateful Dead’s “Friend of the Devil” and area natives the War & Treaty on their 2023 collaboration “Hey Driver.”

Bryan previously said he would no longer tour in a traditional manner and would instead play special shows like in Ann Arbor from time to time. The artist was also in the news of late for attempting to confront fellow country act Gavin Adcock backstage at an Oklahoma festival.

“Been the worst and best few years of my life,” he wrote on Instagram earlier this week. “So ready for the chapter to end. Gotta go make music fun to myself again. Each day I pray people understand I will never regret a thing and I am proud of myself, my family and my friends. there could be a million assholes who have never had a unique thought in their life preaching a million pounds of negativity and bullshit and it wouldn’t be worth a single soul who’s found strength and shelter in true songwriting and good live performances.”

Benny Blanco (real name: Benjamin Joseph Levin) has been climbing the ladder of the music business for years. Although the songwriter found himself in center stage after going public with his and wife Selena Gomez‘s relationship, Benny has worked alongside various celebrities. Over time, Benny steadily built both his image and his net worth.

Find out how much money Benny is currently worth and more about his career, below.

What Is Benny Blanco’s Job?

Since at least 2007, Benny has been working in the music business. He is a rap artist, songwriter, record producer, record executive and now, an author of his cookbook, Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends.

During the early days of his career, Benny worked under Dr. Luke’s company, Kasz Money Productions. For several years, the Virginia native helped write and produce several songs for artists, including Britney Spears, Kesha and Taio Cruz.

Benny eventually started writing and producing songs without Dr. Luke, including several Maroon 5 hits such as “Moves Like Jagger.”

What Is Benny Blanco’s Net Worth in 2025?

As of 2025, Benny has a net worth of $50 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

How Did Benny Blanco & Selena Gomez Meet?

Benny and Selena met sometime in the 2010s when the Disney Channel star shifted her focus from acting to pop music. He produced her 2015 songs “Same Old Love” and “Kill ‘Em With Kindness.”

During those years, Benny also worked and collaborated with Selena’s then-on-again, off-again boyfriend, Justin Bieber. She officially split from the “Baby” hitmaker in 2018.

In 2023, Selena and Benny quietly started dating. He even helped produce her summer song titled “Single Soon.” Months later, Selena confirmed they were dating while responding to fans on social media.

When Did Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Get Engaged?

During a May 2024 interview with Howard Stern, Benny agreed with the host about his plans to marry Selena in the future.

“When I look at her … I’m always just like, I don’t know a world where it could be better than this,” the record producer gushed. “People always said this to me, when you know you meet your best friend — she truly is my best friend. We laugh all f**king day, she inspires me.”

Selena commented on Benny’s statement during a subsequent TIME magazine interview later that month.

“I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that he’s not going anywhere any time soon,” the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place star said.

Selena also explained that she prefers to keep her personal life away from the public eye.

“I know what people can do to people I love,” she pointed out. “My own fans, who I adore and feel like have shaped who I am, will say the most hurtful things to me about how I live my life. But [Benny] has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him. It’s really impressive, and I just cherish every moment with him.”

In December 2024, the pair announced their engagement, and they got married in September 2025.

Sai Abhyankkar Commands Record Fee for His Malayalam Debut in Balti

by jummy84 September 26, 2025
written by jummy84

Sai Abhyankkar is only 20, but the buzz around him would make you think he’s a seasoned chart-topper. The Chennai-based musician first captured attention with independent tracks like Katchi Sera, which exploded across social platforms and catapulted him into the spotlight. Since then, his music has become a fixture on reels and playlists, and his journey has been a textbook case of how digital virality can fast-track a career.

Now, Sai is making his entry into Malayalam cinema with Balti, a bilingual sports action drama from director Unni Sivalingam, fronted by Shane Nigam. The film marks a daring bet on the young composer — one that has already set a record in Mollywood.

Producer Santhosh T. Kuruvilla recently revealed that Sai was paid more than ₹2 crore for Balti, making him the highest-remunerated music director in the industry’s history. What’s more striking is that this staggering sum went to a debutant in Malayalam.

Betting Big on Balti

Asked why he was willing to take such a leap, Santhosh pointed to instinct and numbers. “When you see someone’s songs drawing two to three crore views online, you know there is something special,” he explained in an interview. His gamble has already shown early signs of paying off: Jaalakaari, the film’s first single, has gone viral in Tamil Nadu, especially on Instagram reels, amplifying the pre-release buzz.

Since signing on for Balti, Sai has reportedly been flooded with offers, landing 11 Tamil films and two Telugu projects. His rapid ascent is not just hype but a reflection of his growing footprint across South Indian cinema.

A Project of Scale

Balti itself is a project of scale. It is Shane Nigam’s 25th film, shot extensively across Kerala and Tamil Nadu. In its Kerala release, the film will be presented in a 60–40 mix of Malayalam and Tamil, while the Tamil Nadu release will be fully in Tamil. Dubbed versions in Telugu and Kannada are set to hit screens on October 9, with a Hindi release also being planned.

Backing the film are producers Santhosh T. Kuruvilla and Binu George Alexander, whose confidence in both the story and its young composer suggests they are positioning Balti as a cross-over entertainer.

For Sai, this debut is more than just a soundtrack. It is a test of whether his digital success can translate into a cinematic legacy. If the response to the singles is anything to go by, Balti’s music could well become one of the film’s biggest talking points.
