Janhvi Kapoor Recalls Sridevi, Recites an Emotional Poem for Her on Two Much With Kajol & Twinkle

by jummy84 October 22, 2025

Karan Johar and Janhvi Kapoor will be seen in the latest episode of Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle. From banter to surprising reveals and moments of genuine warmth, their conversations move from playful to deeply personal. While playing ‘truth or lie,’ Janhvi challenged Karan to spill, “Tell us one scandalous truth about yourself and make up one lie, and we’ll guess which one is true.”

Karan replied with a mischievous smirk and said, “I lost my virginity when I was 26 years old, and I’ve been intimately involved with a member of your family.” Janhvi’s eyes widened, and Twinkle and Kajol burst out laughing as Karan immediately stated that he did, in fact, lose his virginity at 26, and the latter was a lie. He continued, “I was late to that party, and I have not been intimate with any member of your family. Though the thought has crossed my mind a couple of times.” Moreover, Kajol and Twinkle asked the filmmaker to rank Akshay, Ajay, and the Pahariya brothers (Veer and Janhvi’s beau S on sex appeal.

However, the conversation took an emotional turn when Janhvi recalled her later mother, Sridevi. She admitted that her mother never wanted her to act and reflected on the late superstar’s protectiveness towards Janhvi. She said, “We were giving everyone so much access. And at that point, mom was still very strict about, ‘I don’t want you to be an actress.’ So she was like, ‘What’s the point? It’s fine if people see her with body hair and two chotis and a mustache.’ It was just the worst combination of things, specifically for me because my teenage years coincided with the onset of the social media boom.”

Janhvi KapoorThe Param Sundari actress also shared a deeply personal poem for Sridevi, which is, “Bachi thi phir achanak ek din woh haq kho diya, jo laad mangti thi usse muh mod liya, apni awaz kho ke apni maa ki awaz me baat karti hu, issi jariye me unke paas bhi rakhti hu.”

The fifth episode of Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle will stream tonight on Prime Video.

Actor Gulshan Devaiah, known for his recent appearance in Kantara: A Legend – Chapter One, recently opened up about a star-studded evening that left him feeling unexpectedly uncomfortable. In an honest and introspective interview with one of the media houses, Gulshan recalled attending a lavish party at Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic bungalow, Mannat, where despite a warm welcome, he couldn’t shake off the feeling that he didn’t belong.

Gulshan attended the high-profile event with actress Kalki Koechlin, arriving in her car. He described the entrance to Mannat as “not what people think,” subtly hinting at how the reality of such elite gatherings differs from the glitz often portrayed. “I stayed at the party for about three hours, but I felt very uncomfortable. I kept feeling like I didn’t belong there,” Gulshan admitted. Despite being personally welcomed by Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, who he described as very sweet, the actor said he couldn’t shake off the feeling of being out of place.

“That feeling was the biggest realization for me, that I shouldn’t feel like I don’t belong here. But I did.” The night wasn’t without its highlights. Gulshan recalled a long and engaging conversation with Australian actor Joel Edgerton, known for his work in The Great Gatsby and Loving. Still, the admiration for others present at the party only deepened his discomfort.

Gulshan Devaiah

“I kept looking at Joel and thinking, ‘Where have I seen you before?’ They’re all very successful,” he said, reflecting on the aura of celebrity around him. Despite the kindness and respect shown to him, the internal struggle persisted. For Gulshan, this was more than just an awkward evening, it was a reflection of the deeper challenges of feeling accepted within the film industry. Gulshan shared that with time and experience, he no longer feels that level of discomfort, but the experience at Mannat stayed with him as a defining moment. “If I want to feel at home in this industry, I need to feel comfortable in such situations. But for those three hours, I just wanted to get out of there.”

Actor Gulshan Devaiah recently shared how he found inspiration in legendary actors like Manoj Bajpayee and Irrfan Khan during his early years. He spoke about how Manoj Bajpayee’s unique film choices stood out, especially during a time when most people were following mainstream cinema.

Gulshan Devaiah On What He Learned From Manoj Bajpayee And Late Irfaan Khan

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, he said, “When I was at an age where I needed inspiration, Manoj Bajpayee was there. He had an era of his own with films like Satya that left a deep impact on us. While Shah Rukh Khan was also doing something different within commercial films, Manoj ji was taking on realistic and unconventional roles. That really inspired me. At a time when I was feeling low, Manoj sir felt like a shining beacon of hope. His long career and continued passion for acting even today are something I admire a lot.”

Gulshan also praised Irrfan Khan for his unique style and fearless choices. He said, “Irrfan was truly versatile. He brought variety into his roles without changing who he was to please others. He had confidence in his talent and didn’t try to fit in. Sometimes, you can just feel that strong self-belief in people. I also enjoy doing different kinds of roles, and working with different people helps me grow as an actor. You realise that, ‘Oh, I can do this too!’”

Navjot Singh Sidhu recalls Kapil Sharma’s early days: ‘He had no hair, a potbelly, looked 45′

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Navjot Singh Sidhu, who made a grand return to entertainment earlier this year with The Great Indian Kapil Show, is back in the spotlight once again. After wrapping up the Netflix comedy talk show, Sidhu is all set to appear as a judge on India’s Got Talent. In a recent interview with Navbharat Times, the former cricketer and television personality spoke candidly about his struggles, his admiration for Kapil Sharma, and a memorable encounter with former U.S. President George W. Bush.

Navjot Singh Sidhu returns to the entertainment scene as a judge on India’s Got Talent after his stint on The Great Indian Kapil Show, sharing insights on Kapil Sharma’s journey.

Navjot talks about Kapil Sharma’s talent

Reflecting on his journey, Sidhu shared how pursuing one’s passion often comes with challenges. “Following your passion isn’t easy. Parents and society rarely encourage it. The biggest disease in the world is ‘what will people say.’ Talent needs a platform and without opportunity, it means nothing. Kapil Sharma, for example, used to work for ₹100 at Bhullar’s theatre society. Then, when he first appeared on TV in 2006, he had no hair, a potbelly, and looked like a 45-year-old. But when he performed on a bigger platform, his talent shone. In the IPL, people also become stars overnight because they get a bigger platform.”

Sidhu’s one-liners have always been quite loved. In fact, his quotes have been termed as Sidhuism by fans, and this tag also seemed to fascinate former US president George Bush. Recalling how Bush wanted to meet him after learning about Sidhuism, Navjot Singh Sidhu shared, “When I was in the BJP, Sardar Manmohan Singh invited me to dinner. His PA called and told me that George Bush was coming and asked what Sidhuism was. He was told that whatever this man says becomes Sidhuism. So he said, ‘I want to meet him.’ When I went, he asked me to quote a quote on positivity. I said, ‘Keep your face towards the sun so you never have to see your shadow.’ He laughed, but I didn’t plan these things. I just speak from the heart, and people connect with it.”

Kapil Sharma’s journey

Kapil is one of India’s most celebrated comedians and television personalities. He first gained national attention after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007, which opened doors to a flourishing career in entertainment. His sharp wit, relatable humour, and impeccable timing helped him create Comedy Nights with Kapil in 2013, a show that became a cultural phenomenon and made him a household name.

Kapil later launched The Kapil Sharma Show on Sony TV, attracting Bollywood’s biggest stars and millions of loyal viewers every weekend. Beyond television, he has ventured into films like Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon and Zwigato. His last project was Netflix special The Great Indian Kapil Show season 3.

Jake Osbourne tearfully recalls Ozzy Osbourne’s emotional final show

by jummy84 October 7, 2025

7 October 2025

Jack Osbourne has described Ozzy Osbourne’s final show as a “living wake”.

Jack Osbourne cried watching his dad Ozzy perform for the final time

The 39-year-old star’s beloved father died on 22 July, less than three weeks after his Back to the Beginning farewell show in his native Birmingham, and Jack has recalled how he “cried” seeing Ozzy back on stage with his Black Sabbath bandmates because he knew how unlikely it was that the Paranoid hitmaker would ever perform again.

Speaking on Good Morning America, Jack cried as he said: “Before he went onstage, I ran back into the dressing room, and I just gave him a big hug. I just kissed him.

“I was like, ‘Crush it. You’re gonna do so good.’

“And I was crying. I was in the crowd… There was this area in the crowd, and I was with my brother. And we both were just crying. Not because… It wasn’t because of feeling sorry for him. It wasn’t because we were sad for him. I think it was because we knew it was his last time.

“In hindsight, it kind of was a living wake if you think about it. He got to say goodbye to everyone,.”

Jack admitted he and his family, particularly his mother Sharon Osbourne, were not prepared for the “outpour of love” that they received following Ozzy’s death.

He said: “I know she feels the love [from the public], and that has been such a level that none of us could ever really… You know, I think every child sits there and has this thought about one day their parents won’t be there, and what will that be like? It’s just a part of being human. We just didn’t think of it.”

Asked how Sharon is coping with the loss of her beloved spouse, Jack said he tells people: “She’s okay, but she’s not okay.”

Jack recently recalled how he was given the news his dad had passed away.

He said in a YouTube video “I woke up in Los Angeles to a knock on my house door at around 3.45 in the morning.

“Someone who has worked for my family for about 30 years now was knocking on my door and when I looked through my window and I saw it was him, I knew something bad had happened. I was informed that my father had passed.”

Ozzy had been battling Parkinson’s disease and suffered various other health issues, and his son was thankful that he was no longer “suffering”.

Jack added: “So many thoughts, there was a level of like, ‘Okay, he’s not struggling. He’s not suffering anymore, and that is something’.

“I wish he was still here, you know? I wish he was still with us all, but he was having a rough go and I think people saw that at the show.”

Alisha Chinai Recalls Industry Isolation After Sexual Harassment Case Against Anu Malik

Alisha Chinai Recalls Industry Isolation After Sexual Harassment Case Against Anu Malik

by jummy84 October 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Singer Alisha Chinai, one of the most prominent voices of the 1990s Indian pop scene, has revisited one of the most difficult chapters of her life — her 1996 sexual harassment case against music composer Anu Malik. In a recent interview with Zoom, the Made in India singer revealed how speaking out cost her dearly, both professionally and personally, as she was shunned by much of the industry soon after taking legal action.

Alisha shared that she was initially reluctant to take the matter to court, but it was her then-husband and manager, Rajesh Jhaveri, who urged her to speak up and stand her ground. “I believe they dismissed it outright. Ultimately, it’s a man’s domain, sadly. Well, it used to be. Now, it’s a woman’s domain,” she said. “At that time, I was married, and my former husband Rajesh was also overseeing much of my career. He was quite supportive of my perspective.”

At the height of her fame, Alisha had collaborated extensively with Anu Malik, delivering a number of hit songs that defined the era. However, once she filed the case, her work offers began to dry up rapidly. “A lot of my work just stopped,” she said, adding that no one from the film or music industry came forward to support her. “But I told myself, forget it — it didn’t bother me that they isolated me.”

Despite the professional setback, Alisha maintained her resilience and chose to rebuild her life quietly. Years later, she and Anu Malik found themselves crossing paths again — this time on a film project. In 2003, they reunited for Ishq Vishk, a film starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Rao, which featured the popular track Chot Dil Pe Lagi. The two would later appear together as judges on Indian Idol, a collaboration that surprised many given their fraught history.

Addressing that unexpected reconciliation, Alisha explained that it came only after Anu Malik personally apologised to her. “He did apologise, and I accepted it. Everyone makes mistakes,” she said, noting that she wanted to move forward and not let the bitterness of the past define her.

However, the story did not end there. When the #MeToo movement swept through India in 2018, several women in the entertainment industry came forward with similar allegations of misconduct against Anu Malik. Many of them reached out to Alisha for support, recalling her case as one of the earliest instances of a woman in Indian music taking a stand against harassment. Though initially hesitant, Alisha eventually spoke up in solidarity with the new wave of survivors. “I believed them,” she said, adding that she understood all too well the price that often comes with speaking out.

Alisha’s recollection serves as a reminder of the deeply entrenched gender power imbalance that existed in the entertainment industry in the 1990s. “At that time, it was still very much a man’s world. You didn’t have platforms, you didn’t have social media. You just had to face the consequences alone,” she noted.

A Pioneer of Indian Pop

Despite the challenges she faced, Alisha Chinai’s contribution to Indian music remains undeniable. A leading figure of the Indipop movement, she broke barriers with her 1995 album Made in India, composed by Biddu, which became one of the highest-selling pop records in the country. The album not only cemented her status as the “Queen of Indipop” but also redefined how female pop artists were perceived in India.

Over her decades-long career, Alisha collaborated with leading composers like Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, and Anu Malik, lending her distinctive voice to numerous Bollywood hits, from Kajra Re to Tinka Tinka. Known for her bold, trendsetting persona, she paved the way for a generation of female artists who followed.

Today, Alisha’s reflections offer a rare glimpse into the courage it took to stand up against systemic wrongs in a time when few dared to do so. While she admits the journey was isolating, her resilience and honesty continue to inspire — a reminder that truth, even when silenced, finds its echo years later.

Rajat Bedi calls Bollywood ‘unforgiving industry’, recalls losing his father when he was 9: ‘No one looked back at us’

by jummy84 October 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi recently made his comeback with Aryan Khan’s web series Ba***ds of Bollywood. In a candid conversation with Siddharth Kannan, Rajat opened up about his early life and revealed how the entire film fraternity used to visit his home when his father, Narendra Bedi, was alive. However, after his father’s death, the industry, he said, completely “abandoned” his family.

Rajat Bedi talks about his family legacy.

Rajat Bedi says Bollywood is an unforgiving industry

Rajat shared that his grandfather, renowned Urdu writer and director Rajinder Singh Bedi, had worked with legends like Prithviraj Kapoor, Dharmendra, and other stalwarts. He also revealed that his father, Narendra Bedi, started his career as an assistant to Raj Kapoor and went on to direct several successful films such as Benaam, Adalat, Jawani Diwani, and more.

Reflecting on his father’s death, Rajat said, “I was nine years old when I lost my father. He was 45. I remember vividly that no one from the industry looked back at us, except for director Prakash Mehra and his family. For about six months to a year after Papa’s death, Prakash-ji sent money to our house, telling my mother, ‘Bhabhi, don’t worry.’ My mother has been a housewife all her life. She hasn’t done anything apart from raising three children on her own. Besides Prakash-ji, no one else looked back. It’s a very unforgiving industry.”

Rajat further recalled, “After that, we were out of the industry until I decided to start working. One day, my mum asked me what I wanted to do. I was lost. She suggested I assist Ramesh Sippy. She spoke to him personally, and he agreed immediately. I was 18 when I joined him and worked on the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Zamaana Deewana. I was quite close to SRK at that time; we worked together for about two and a half years. He used to call me ‘Tiger’ because I was this aggressive guy — and also because there were two Rajats on set.”

About Rajat Bedi

Rajat made his acting debut with the 1998 film 2001: Do Hazaar Ek and went on to appear in films such as International Khiladi, Indian, Jaani Dushman: Ek Anokhi Kahani, Koi… Mil Gaya, Partner, and more. After Partner, the actor stepped away from Bollywood but later appeared in the Kannada film Jaggu Dada and the Telugu film Ahimsa.

In 2025, Rajat ventured into the digital space with Aryan Khan’s directorial debut Ba***ds of Bollywood, a satirical take on the Hindi film industry. The show also stars Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, and Manoj Pahwa in key roles. It received positive reviews from both critics and audiences, with particular praise for Aryan’s sharp direction and humour. The series is currently streaming on Netflix.

Bollywood actor Archana Puran Singh’s latest vlog saw her, along with her family and celebrity food vlogger Kunal Vijaykar, on a delicious quest to find the best Maharashtrian cuisine in Mumbai. But the fun took a surprising turn when her son, Ayushmaan Sethi, dropped a quirky revelation, that he once ate Katy Perry’s leftover cake after a star-studded Karan Johar party.

Archana Puran Singh’s son Ayushmaan Sethi recalls eating Katy Perry’s leftover cake.

How Ayushmaan Sethi ate Katy Perry’s leftover cake

While enjoying Maharashtrian delicacies, Archana quipped to Kunal, “You are just having leftovers. We have just left the leftovers for you.” Hearing this, Ayushmaan casually revealed, “I remember eating Katy Perry’s leftover cake.” Archana paused for a moment before Kunal jumped in, asking in disbelief, “Katy Perry’s leftover? How?”

Ayushmaan explained, “Yes, you heard me right. I ate Katy Perry’s leftover cake. When I was working at Dharma Productions with Karan Johar, he hosted a huge party at his house where Katy Perry was present. The cake-cutting happened past midnight, so very few people ate it. The next day, he sent the leftover cake to the office and said, ‘Jisko bhi khaana hai khaa lo’ (anyone can eat). I sat down and ate it.”

About Archana Puran Singh’s son

In one of their vlogs, Ayushmaan shared that he had always excelled academically, securing the first rank in his class in both his 10th and 12th grades. He revealed that he applied to an Ivy League college and was accepted, but turned down the opportunity to pursue acting instead of further academics. Archana also revealed that her son continues to attend auditions for web series and films, facing multiple rejections along the way.

About Archana Puran Singh’s vlogs

Archana’s vlogs offer candid glimpses into her personal life, featuring her husband, actor Parmeet Sethi, their sons Aaryamann and Ayushmaan Sethi, and Aaryamann’s fiancée, actress Yogita Bihani. The family explores cuisines across Mumbai, indulging in food challenges, restaurant hunts, and travel adventures. The vlogs capture humour, warmth, and family camaraderie, making them a favourite among fans.

On the work front, Archana was last seen in The Great Indian Kapil Show and in Karan Johar’s film Nadaaniyaan, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in lead roles.

Almost every actor of the entertainment industry has to undergo grief pain and emotional rollercoaster to get into their character so did Bollywood’s legendary actress Jaya Bachchan. According to some of the media reports, she once faced a deeply personal and emotional challenge while filming “Hazaar Chaurasi Ki Maa” in 1998. Director Govind Nihalani asked her to imagine her son Abhishek Bachchan’s death for a pivotal scene, which left her visibly shaken.

During a recent conversation, Abhishek Bachchan reflected on the challenges actors face in bringing characters to life. “It sounds harsh, but actors go through this,” he said. “Even if he hadn’t said it, he would have thought it through to embody that emotion. You bring a lot of personal things into your work.” Abhishek emphasized the importance of directors in shaping an actor’s performance, likening actors to “puppets” who bring their emotions and experiences to their roles.
