Deewaniyat has been winning over audiences since its release on October 21. Ahead of the film’s premiere, Harshvardhan left no stone unturned in promoting the movie and meeting fans across the country. Now that the film is out, the actor surprised fans with an unexpected visit to a theatre in Vapi, Gujarat, sparking an outpouring of excitement.
A viral video from inside the cinema hall shows Harshvardhan stepping onto the stage right after the end credits rolled. Fans erupted in cheers and applause upon seeing him, with one emotional fan shouting, “Love you, Harshvardhan! Thank you for coming.” The actor smiled, waved, and expressed gratitude for their overwhelming love. As he exited the theatre, fans crowded around him, eager for selfies and handshakes. Many even held roses as tokens of admiration for the Sanam Teri Kasam star.
This wasn’t Harshvardhan’s first surprise appearance. On the day of the film’s release, he delighted fans by visiting Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety Galaxy theatre, personally greeting the audience inside and thanking them for a “house full” show. He later shared a heartwarming video on Instagram showing fans lifting him toward his van amid thunderous cheers. The clip featured the quote, “There will be hundreds who don’t believe in you, but you just have to look for five people who trust your instincts.”
In the caption, Harshvardhan wrote, “This time you came with vengeance. Yeh aapki deewaniyat hai.”
Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat is written by Mushtaq Sheikh and Milap Zaveri, who also directed the film. Produced by Anshul Garg with Raghav Sharma as co-producer, the film explores intense themes of love, obsession, and heartbreak. Alongside Harshvardhan and Sonam, it features Shaad Randhawa, Sachin Khedekar, and Ananth Narayan Mahadevan in pivotal roles.
