Actor-writer Zeishan Quadri, best known for Gangs of Wasseypur, has come forward in strong support of Tanya Mittal amidst the ongoing drama inside the Bigg Boss 19 house. Known for his bold opinions, Zeishan questioned the contestants’ collective behavior towards Tanya, asking why the entire house seems to be ganging up against her.

“Kyu chad raha hai poora ghar? Kya galat kara usne? Bigg Boss ka kaunsa rule tod diya?” Zeishan asked, clearly unimpressed by the treatment Tanya has been receiving from some housemates.

He further elaborated, “Woh Farhana se baat karegi, ye kehte hue ki mujhe acha nahi lagta ki koi akela baitha ho, main toh baithungi. Ab wo acting kar rahi hai, apna game khel rahi hai ya apni real self dikha rahi hai mujhe nahi malum. Par galat toh nahi kar rahi hai.”

Zeishan also addressed the ongoing friction between Neelam and Farhana, clarifying that Tanya’s intentions were never wrong. “Bigg Boss ne bola hai kya Farhana ko boycott karo? Agar Neelam ko bura lag raha hai, main baat le raha hoon Neelam ki kyunki wo Tanya ki best friend hai shuruaat se. Par agar Neelam ko kuch lagta hai, toh usse jaake directly baat karni chahiye,” he added, emphasizing communication over judgment.

Recalling the incident, Mahesh Bhatt revealed, “Alia told me, ‘Papa, why don’t you sit in Raha’s room?’ But I didn’t want to disturb her. The vanity felt as sacred as a temple. I thought, ‘No, no, no, there’s no place for an old man here.’” The veteran director went on to admire how Alia Bhatt balances her home, career, and personal life with grace. Talking about his grand daughter’s vanity van, the filmmaker continued, “And Alia says, ‘Why don’t you go an sit in Raha’s room papa?’ I didn’t want to contaminate it. It had the feeling of a nursery school. It almost looked like a temple. I said, ‘No, no, no, the old man has no place there’. But that’s the new-age heroines. They go to work, they’re parenting, they go to Gucci events carrying their baby with them.”

Alia Bhatt is no stranger to balancing a hectic film schedule with family life, especially when working alongside her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. In a recent interview with Grazia, Alia opened up about how the couple has been managing parenting duties while co-starring in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War without letting their roles as actors or parents take a backseat.

“It sounds cheesy, but there are no cons to this—only pros,” Alia said candidly when asked about working with her husband. The only real challenge, she explained, is managing their daughter Raha’s schedule. “We’ve shot most of the film at night, so we’re usually with her during the day. There are days he’s shooting, days I am. We’re not always on set together,” she added.

The actor also revealed that Raha has occasionally accompanied them to work and seems to enjoy being on set. She also acknowledged the support system around her. “She’s got a very busy life herself with classes, playdates, grandparents, and activities. It does take a village, in a sense, and I feel very grateful for all my loved ones and the privilege that I have with this support system,” she said.

Alia’s upcoming projects

Alongside her personal milestones, Alia Bhatt has an exciting slate of upcoming films. She is set to headline Alpha, an action-packed thriller directed by Shiv Rawail. In it, she plays a high-ranking officer in a fictional all-female combat unit under YRF’s Spy Universe. The film promises a gritty and intense portrayal of Alia in a never-before-seen avatar.

She is also reuniting with husband Ranbir and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali for Love and War, a period romantic drama starring Vicky Kaushal. The film marks Alia and Ranbir’s second collaboration after Brahmāstra, and expectations are already sky-high.
