Rachel Comey Pre-Fall 2026 Collection

Some designers try to romance you. Some refuse to speak. (More fool them, but that’s a story for another time.) Rachel Comey gives you real-talk. At a showroom appointment, she broke down her pre-fall collection into three themes—work travel, beachy escape stuff, and summer events—and then proceeded to dig into the fibers her team developed for each. I’ve been at the review business for a long time, and I can’t remember an occasion when a designer used the term “fibers.” Like her clothes, Comey is down to earth, but she’s also prone to surprise and delight.

Needless to say, most of the fibers in question here were exceedingly lightweight because it’s a hot time of year. For suiting, Comey worked with weavers in India on a speckled linen, and for strappy bare dresses she chose a crinkled cotton silk blend, a crisp taffeta, and a bouncy foam-like tech fabric. As for knits, there were floral intarsia sets and a stretch eyelet, which is an old favorite done in new colorways, for an array of swim shapes. Among the bathing suits, the most novel was a long-sleeved one-piece with a little hem that just about qualified it as a dress—wear it at the pool, wear it on the street.

With an eye to the way her customers really live, she emphasized rugby-weight cotton separates in cool, roomy shapes; athleisure-y color-blocked nylon; and printed ripstop cargo pants along with a matching rain parka. On the accessories front, the crumpled knitted raffia bucket hats were delightful indeed.

How Rachel Sennott, Ayo Edebri Hatched That Wild ‘I Love L.A.’ Cameo

by jummy84 November 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Into every generation, an HBO comedy about the pains of adulthood is born. Sex and the City, Girls, Entourage, How to Make It in America, Insecure … they’re all different, but they share a common DNA. And Gen Z may have found their answer in I Love LA. Created by and starring Rachel Sennott, the series began at the top of November and follows a group of 20-somethings navigating their careers and social lives in one of America’s most challenging metropolises. Sennott, who portrays ambitious transplant Maia, recently spoke with The Hollywood Reporter‘s new podcast I’m Having an Episode to explain what she’s trying to say with the series — and how she got pal Ayo Edebiri to co-create an absolutely bonkers bit part.

We’re speaking just before the premiere, so I’d be remiss if I didn’t ask about your mental state.

Unwell. Not OK. I’m crushing my second Celsius of the day. The first was at 7 a.m. I definitely feel vulnerable because this is the longest I’ve ever worked on one thing. I co-wrote Bottoms with my friend Emma Seligman, and that was vulnerable too. This is pretty personal to me, and it’s the first time I directed. I’m definitely scared, but I’m also really proud of it. I just need to release control and trust the universe or whoever and hope that it finds the right people.

Ayo Edebiri makes a guest appearance as delusional British pop star Mimi Rush in the second episode of the comedy series.

Wearing as many hats as you do on this show — writing, acting, editing, directing — where did you find yourself most comfortable?

I always felt like I was cheating on one job with another, which was kind of nice. You’re in the writers room, and you’re really liking it, and then you get sick of that, and all of a sudden you’re scouting locations and get energy from that. Then, boom, you’re an actress. The change is nice. A new love for me that I haven’t experienced before is directing. By the end, I felt like I had just given birth, so the edit was a cocoon for me.

How did you land on how you wanted to incorporate phones and social media on the show? A major criticism of film and TV is that they never know how to navigate that correctly, but your show is about the influencer economy.

It was a huge thing for me because I got my first phone in middle school. I wasn’t an iPad baby, but I would say I grew up on the internet. It’s just always been a huge part of my life. And a lot of times when it’s depicted in movies and TV, it feels a little clunky. For us, it feels seamless. I don’t even think about it. It was important for me to try to depict the internet in that way. And then also create our own internet for the show that moves and breathes the same way the real internet does. Tallulah [Odessa A’zion] is on her phone all the time, and you don’t question for one second that she’s an internet girl, but you don’t need to see her make 10 TikToks to get it.

Odessa A’zion portrays Tallulah Stiel, a popular influencer and college friend of Sennott’s character, in I Love LA.

In the past couple of years, you also co-created Dan Levy’s upcoming Netflix series. You co-wrote the upcoming Heidi Fleiss biopic. You were also set to star in both but had to drop out to focus on this show. Does it feel weird to be turning down opportunities because you have this full-time job now?

It’s definitely a learning curve. I’m someone who’s like, “I’ll make it work.” I will not sleep and I’ll do this and whatever to try to make everything work. But at a certain point, I think you don’t want to do everything if you can’t do a good job at everything. It’s always hard not being able to do other things, especially with such amazing creators and talented people that I’ve looked up to for such a long time, but I’ve had to shift my mindset.

Your friend and frequent collaborator Ayo Edebiri guest stars in the second episode as a fantastically unhinged pop star. And British. Did you bring that to her fully baked or did you guys all find that together?

We found that together. She is a comedic genius. We definitely had the bones of a character, an unhinged diva. I pitched her the idea the morning after the Met Gala. I was like, “Hey, can I send you this?” She Zooms me from her hotel room. It’s like pitch black. She’s like, “Speak to me! What’s the idea?” Then we started jamming on it. Afterward, [writer-producers] Emma Barrie and Max Silvestri talked to her, and we were like, “Do you want to come to the writers room? We need you!”

The Mummy Franchise Rises Again! Brendan Fraser And Rachel Weisz Set To Return For Fourth Installment | Glamsham.com

Hollywood is going to get a serious shot of nostalgia as Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are reportedly teaming up once again for the fourth installment of the franchise, The Mummy. Per Deadline, Universal Pictures is rebooting one of its most favorite action-adventure sagas, with these two talents in discussions to revisit their stellar roles of Rick O’Connell and Evelyn Carnahan respectively.

The new movie will be directed by Radio Silence’s Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who rebooted the Scream franchise, from a script written by David Coggeshall. Franchise veteran producer Sean Daniel returns to produce alongside William Sherak, James Vanderbilt, and Paul Neinstein of Project X Entertainment, reuniting the creative team behind the most recent Scream reboots.

Fraser and Weisz first starred in The Mummy, directed by Stephen Sommers, and its sequel, The Mummy Returns, in 1999 and 2001. Both films were based on Universal’s classic monster legacy and grossed more than $400 million worldwide, becoming cult hits. In them, Fraser took on the role of Rick O’Connell, a dashing adventurer and ex-soldier, while Weisz portrayed Evelyn, a smart Egyptologist. Their chemistry-developing from being reluctant partners to a married couple fighting ancient Egyptian curses-was the key to the series’ success.

The franchise expanded with the 2002 spinoff The Scorpion King, starring Dwayne Johnson, and the 2008 sequel The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, which saw Fraser return without Weisz.
After his Oscar-winning comeback with The Whale, Fraser keeps the momentum going with Rental Family, which bows Nov. 21 from Searchlight Pictures. Weisz is also an Oscar winner and recently appeared in Prime Video’s Dead Ringers and Marvel’s Black Widow.

With the two stars back on board and a new creative team to take the reins, The Mummy 4 could resurrect the adventure, romance, and supernatural thrills that made the original films timeless favorites.

Brendan Fraser, Rachel Weisz Set to Revive The Mummy Franchise

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are reuniting for a fourth installment in The Mummy franchise at Universal.

Fraser starred in the first three films of the franchise, with Weisz appearing in the first two (Maria Bello replaced Weisz for the third entry).

According to Variety, the fourth movie will be directed by Radio Silence, the filmmaking team of Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, who broke through with the 2019 horror movie, Ready or Not, and revived the Scream franchise with Scream 5 and Scream 6 in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

The original 1999 film The Mummy was a box-office smash, grossing more than $422.5 million and launching a reliable franchise for Universal in the early 2000s. The action-adventure romp that made Fraser a star was a fun, feel-good ride strong enough to land the series on our 50 Best Action Movie Franchises of All Time list.

After stepping away from Hollywood for a variety of reasons, including an assault allegation against the former HFPA president, Fraser returned to prominence with the 2022 film, The Whale, which earned him an Academy Award for Best Actor.

Last year, it was revealed that Fraser will play Dwight D. Eisenhower in the upcoming movie, Pressure, which is based on the 72 hours leading up to D-Day.

Weisz, who starred as twins in Prime Video’s adaptation of Dead Ringers back in 2023, is set to appear in the upcoming Netflix series, Vladimir, an adaptation of the critically acclaimed, bestselling novel by Julia May Jonas.

Ms. Rachel Has Poignant Message at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards: ‘Hateful Responses Aren’t What Matters’

by jummy84 November 5, 2025
written by jummy84

We’re always paying attention to what Rachel Accurso, better known to the world as Ms. Rachel, has to say—and not just because she’s mostly speaking in a delightfully high-pitched singsong voice.

The children’s entertainer and entrepreneur, who was honored tonight as one of Glamour’s Women of the Year, addressed the (adult) crowd at this year’s WOTY ceremony, held at The Plaza hotel in New York City.

In her speech, Ms. Rachel reflected on the theme of sisterhood, thanking her mother, who raised her and her sister as a single mom, as well as her actual sister, Rebecca.

“We started a band called the Sisteristics, so I think that’s really in the spirt of sisterhood,” she said, adding, “It was really weird,” to laughter in the room. “She always reminded me that the hateful responses aren’t what matters; what matters are the people who are suffering. And those of us who see things clearly and morally need to support their voices and their calls for justice.”

Ms. Rachel continued with a message of perseverance: “No matter how hard some people try to convince us that empathy is wrong, it’s right,” she said. “No matter how hard people try to convince us that diversity is a weakness, it’s a strength. No matter how hard people try to convince us that love is limited, it’s limitless.”

Speaking earlier to Glamour’s global editorial director, Samantha Barry, Ms. Rachel opened up about her decision to advocate for children all over the world, specifically in areas of crisis such as Gaza and Sudan.

“My love and care for children doesn’t stop at my own children,” she explained. “It doesn’t stop at the children in our country. It embraces every child of the world. I don’t think that our love should end at religion or skin color or where people are born.”

Ms. Rachel arrived to the Women of the Year Awards ceremony alongside her husband, Aron Accurso, whom fans often refer to as Mr. Aron. Though the couple make an adorable pair, all eyes were on Ms. Rachel and her stunning evening gown. Her upcycled dress features embroidery on the capelet and train, the designs drawn from drawings that were sent to her by Gazan children.

The group recently posted the back cover to the upcoming LP, which contains 12 songs overall. The album opens with F+TM’s two recent singles, ahead of cuts titled ‘Witch Dance’, ‘Sympathy Magic’, ‘Perfume And Milk’, ‘Buckle’ and ‘Kraken’.

The rest of the record is comprised of the tracks ‘The Old Religion’, ‘Drink Deep’, ‘Music By Men’ and ‘You Can Have It All’, before concluding with ‘And Love’.

Welch previously revealed that the inspiration for the ‘Everybody Scream’ album came from undergoing lifesaving surgery during the ‘Dance Fever’ tour in 2023. She has since opened up further about the procedure, revealing that she had suffered an ectopic pregnancy.

“The closest I came to making life was the closest I came to death,” she explained in a recent interview. “And I felt like I had stepped through this door, and it was just full of women, screaming.”

Earlier, she had touched on exploring spiritual mysticism and folk horror – understanding the limits of her body and questioning what it meant to be “healed”. These are themes that helped shape the record, along with exploration of womanhood, partnership, ageing and dying.

The upcoming album features contributions from IDLES‘ Mark Bowen, Mitski and The National’s Aaron Dessner – all of whom worked with Welch on the title track, too.

Additionally, Welch has talked about being inspired by JADE and the current “experimental” side of pop on her “most personal” LP yet. She also looked back on working with “one of [her] favourite artists of all time”, Mitski.

Florence + The Machine are set to embark on a UK and European arena tour in February. The run of shows includes two nights at The O2 in London – find any remaining tickets here.

Send Help Trailer: Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien Stranded on a Deserted Island

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

The first poster and trailer for Send Help, a darkly comedic psychological thriller from Sam Raimi, are finally here, giving us our first real look at the film before it hits theatres in January 2026. Known for his unique mix of suspense, humour and thrilling twists, Raimi promises a story that keeps audiences on edge while sneaking in unexpected laughs along the way.

The story follows Linda Liddle, played by Rachel McAdams, and Bradley Preston, played by Dylan O’Brien, two coworkers who survive a plane crash only to find themselves alone on a deserted island. What starts as a fight for survival soon becomes a tense and unpredictable game of wits as old tensions and personal conflicts come to the surface. It’s a story that shows how isolation and extreme situations can bring out both the best and worst in people, with moments that are as funny as they are intense.

Raimi says he’s always been drawn to stories where interesting characters are pushed to their limits. “The power shifts create an escalating situation that’s brimming with unexpected turns and suspense,” he says. The trailer gives a taste of this, teasing clever strategies, tense confrontations and plenty of darkly funny moments that keep you guessing what will happen next.

Send Help

Alongside McAdams and O’Brien, the film features Edyll Ismail, Dennis Haysbert, Xavier Samuel, Chris Pang, Thaneth Warakulnukroh and Emma Raimi. Produced by Raimi and Zainab Azizi, with a screenplay by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift and music by Danny Elfman, Send Help isn’t just a survival story. It’s a thrilling, darkly funny look at human nature and how far people will go when pushed to the edge. It’s set to release in Indian cinemas in January 2026, offering audiences a tense, gripping and surprisingly witty ride from start to finish.

Luke Perry fans were floored when news of the late 52-year-old actor’s death broke in March 2019. After taking on iconic roles in Beverly Hills, 90210 and Riverdale, his legacy remains strong. Luke’s family and friends didn’t hesitate to post numerous messages about his passing, and we’re taking a look back at those who were closest to him in life, including his ex-wife, Rachel Minnie Sharp. Here are five things you should know about the woman Luke spent 10 years with.

Luke & Rachel Met at a Restaurant

Luke once said they met in a restaurant. “It’s that simple,” he said, according to People. After dating for two years, they married in 1993 and got divorced 10 years later, in 2003.

Beverly Hills, 90210 producer, Aaron Spelling, once called Rachel “good” for Luke

Aaron thought Rachel’s non-Hollywood background (she once had a job selling furniture) was what Luke needed. “She’s not in show business. Her head is on really straight,” he told USA Today.

Rachel & Luke had two children together

Their oldest son, Jack, is now a professional wrestler who goes by the name, “Jungle Boy” Nate Coy. Their daughter, Sophie, has traveled the world in her 20s so far, according to her Instagram page.

Rachel dabbled in acting at one point in her life

Rachel appeared in the film Teen Wolf 2 but didn’t go on to pursue it as a career. She does have some family history in the movies, though. Her father, Alan Sharp, wrote the screenplay for the 1983 film, Living Dangerously, starring Mel Gibson and Sigourney Weaver. Her half-sister, Ruth Emmanuella Davies, was also an actress for a brief time.

Rachel & Luke had a small, private wedding

Only 50 guests attended, including family and some of Luke’s Beverly Hills, 90210 castmates. The reception took place at Pinot Bistro in the San Fernando Valley, and after the festivities were over, the then couple went to LAX to take a plane to their undisclosed honeymoon destination.

Due in theaters next year, the movie will feature Alexander Skarsgård, Rosanna Arquette, Jamie Demetriou, Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott, Kate Berlant, Arielle Dombasle and Hailey Benton Gates.

The Moment is directed by Aidan Zamiri, who is making his feature debut after previously working with Charli xcx on such videos as “Guess” and “360” and helping steer the overall look of her BRAT campaign. He also wrote the screenplay in tandem with Bertie Brandes. The score was penned by A.G. Cook., who will act in the film with fellow artist Shygirl.

Per Deadline, The Moment “follows a rising pop star as she navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena-tour debut.”
