Bre Tiesi “doesn’t care” about Chrishell Stause quitting Selling Sunset.

Bre Tiesi has weighed in on Chrishell Stause quitting Selling Sunset

The pair butted heads on the Netflix reality show countless times, and, after the 44-year-old realtor revealed she was departing the programme because it wasn’t good for her mental health, her co-star has weighed in on her decision and said she hopes she can “move and not be so miserable”.

She told Us Weekly: “I’m not surprised because she’s threatened it every season. She’s been threatening it since I got there.

“I would be surprised if she actually does go. I don’t really care if she’s there or not.”

She went on: “She’s irrelevant to my life, personally. Hopefully she finds something better for her mental state and she can find some peace and she can move on and not be so miserable.”

Chrishell insists she no longer needs her Selling Sunset salary.

She told Bustle: “I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially.

“I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health.”

Chrishell joined the show in 2019 and has bowed out after the ninth season.

The blonde beauty insists she has nothing against anyone at Selling Sunset and wishes them all the best.

She said: “If they do continue, I wish them the best. If they do do another one, by then, I may not watch it. I don’t know. But I have no ill will toward the show.

“The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved.”

Chrishell added: “I think, after so many hours, I felt like, ‘Sit here, get through it. You’re not a quitter, but you never have to do this again.’”

Her choice to leave comes after the most recent season saw Chrishell spar with her friend Emma Hernan after she accused her boyfriend, Blake Davis, of threatening her.

The former model’s partner, G Flip, is non-binary, and she accused Blake of being discriminatory against them.

She told the outlet: “He constantly posts anti-trans stuff… He thinks it’s too woke if you don’t sing the N word in songs. He posted something the other day, with a gun in view, saying he wants to ‘sue [me for lying] my d*** off.'”

Chrishell says she was made to look like the bad person.

She said: “With Emma, I just look like an overbearing friend.

“But there are so many things that would’ve completely vindicated me and my opinion, and they left all of it out.”

Chrishell also alleged about Blake: “They would break up, and she would tell me these horrific things that he would say to her, that he would do.

“He thought it was funny to say, ‘If you ever do that again, I’ll beat you.’ Who jokes about that? It’s not funny.”

Execs Called Her “Ungrateful” for Quitting ‘Gossip Girl’

Taylor Momsen is recalling her intense battle with studio executives over wanting to quit Gossip Girl to pursue her music career.

The singer-actress was the latest guest on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, and opened up about her decision to leave the hit series in season four after originating the role of Jenny Humphrey, Dan Humphrey’s (Penn Badgley) younger sister.

“It was an easy decision for me,” Momsen explained. “To actually get out of a contract was not easy…. It was a very long battle of me arguing [with] everyone and going, ‘Get me outta this. I can’t do this anymore. This is killing me. I have something else I want to do with my life, and it has nothing to do with this, and I can’t be stuck here anymore.’”

She recalled executives at Warner Bros. Television calling her “ungrateful” for trying to leave the series, adding, “You’re called all the things that come along with, ‘How dare you turn your back on something that’s been so successful for you.’”

When they wouldn’t let Momsen out of her contract, that’s when she went to Gossip Girl showrunners Stephanie Savage and Josh Schwartz to figure out another option.

“They essentially went, ‘Well, we can’t let you out of the contract because that’s not our job, but we can write you out of the show. We understand what you’re trying to do here,’” she recounted. “I really have to credit them for doing that for me because they did not have to, and they wrote me out of the show so I could go on tour and be in a band.”

While Momsen was already working to make a name for herself in Hollywood even before Gossip Girl, with roles in How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams, her true passion lies with music. Once she departed the show during season four in 2010, the singer went on to tour with her band, The Pretty Reckless.

“I kind of just Irish-dipped. I just wasn’t on the script the next week,” she admitted about how her co-stars learned of her departure from the show. “They all knew I was making music. They all knew I had a band. I would play them stuff because I was working on the first record while I was on the show. I would come in and play songs, but I don’t think anyone knew how serious I was at that stage.”

As Momsen pursued music full-time, she also didn’t want to leave the Gossip Girl fans hanging, so she later reprised her role of Jenny for the series finale in 2012.

“As a fan of television and a fan of the shows, I love when you have the full cast together again,” she said. “You want to full-circle that and round it out.”

Journey’s Jonathan Cain denies bandmate Neal Schon’s claim that he is quitting the band

Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain has denied he is planning to leave the band, despite recent comments from the band’s guitarist Neal Schon.

Schon posted on social media on Thursday (October 9) that Cain had informed the rest of the band that he planned to call it a day after the completion of one final tour.

“Jonathan Cain announced his farewell to Journey tonight,” Schon’s X post read. “I’m nowhere near done! Journey has so much more life ahead! I’m sure we will have a great tour!”

Schon later clarified that Cain would still tour with the band for all dates in 2026 and 2027, although no tour dates have yet been announced.

In response to Schon’s comments, Cain’s representatives released a statement, denying that he had given any confirmation that he is quitting the band.

“Jonathan Cain remains an active member of Journey,” the statement read (via Consequence). “And any reports suggesting otherwise are inaccurate. He is fully dedicated to touring with the band over the next couple of years and has only expressed plans to retire at a later time”.

Cain did, however, suggest in a recent appearance on the Strang Report podcast that he has plans to leave Journey, describing a 2026 tour with the band as “our farewell Journey tour”, adding: “So I’ll be saying goodbye to that”.

Cain and Schon have been locked in a bitter public dispute for some time – in 2024, Cain filed a lawsuit against Schon during the band’s co-headline tour with Def Leppard, on grounds of frustrations over his “expenses related to the tour”, including “budgeting and spending” of the band’s credit card over personal expenses.

Schon later said the band had opted to bring in “someone impartial” to help smooth over their differences. “Anyone who follows Journey will know that Jon Cain and I don’t always see eye-to-eye on everything Or, sometimes, on pretty much anything,” he wrote.

“Recently, Jon Cain made a number of claims and slanderous accusations about me and my wife – and I can’t stress enough how much it upset me and how wrong they are. I am determined to take the high road and push all this aside for the moment to focus on our fans, the tour and all who give so much to make things happen.”

“That’s why I’m so glad that Jon now agrees with me that the current dynamic can’t continue and it’s also why I’m pleased that we’re going to bring in someone impartial to help us resolve our disputes, bring clarity to what we’re doing and allow us, as a band, to get back to what we should all focus on – making music and performing for our fans.”

Schon, who is the band’s lead guitarist and sole original member, owns 50 per cent of the band via entity Freedom 2020, with Cain owning the other half, making it a deadlock when it comes to company decisions, per Bloomberg Law. Cain is the second longest serving member of the band, having joined it in 1980.
