Nikitin Dheer Shares Heartfelt Note After Immersing Father Pankaj Dheer’s Ashes In Ganga; Says, “More Proud Than Ever To Be His Son”

Actor Nikitin Dheer has shared a deeply emotional message following the passing of his father, veteran actor Pankaj Dheer. The late actor, best known for his iconic portrayal of Karna in the television classic Mahabharat, passed away on October 15 at the age of 68. Ten days after his father’s death, Nikitin took to social media to express his grief and gratitude for the overwhelming support his family received. The family later immersed Pankaj Dheer’s ashes in Rishikesh, a place close to his spiritual beliefs.

In his heartfelt note, Nikitin wrote about the pain of losing his father and mentor. “On the 15th of October 2025, I lost my Dad, my Guru, my best friend. He wasn’t well for some time, and it shattered us as a family,” he shared. He also thanked everyone who sent prayers, blessings, and messages, saying the love and respect his father received was beyond words.

Nikitin fondly remembered his father as a man of strength, integrity, and inspiration. “He taught me grit, loyalty, and perseverance,” he wrote, adding that his father’s lessons would guide him throughout life. The actor also credited his father for instilling in him a deep love and respect for cinema and the film industry.

The Dheer family performed asthi visarjan (ash immersion) and prayers at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in Rishikesh, with guidance from Swami Chidanand Shastri. Pankaj Dheer’s immense contribution to Indian television and cinema continues to be celebrated by colleagues and fans. Nikitin’s words beautifully capture a son’s love and a student’s respect for a man whose life and legacy will always be remembered.

The 36-year-old reality star recently announced that she’d ended her relationship with Brandon and Brittany feels “proud” of herself for having taken such a tough decision,

A source told Us Weekly: “The distance and obligations were too much for her and she didn’t see it going anywhere long term.

“Brittany is really proud of herself for showing growth and knowing when things are done instead of trying to stick around and be unhappy.”

Brittany – who has Cruz, four, with her estranged husband Jax Taylor – is said to be “focusing on her and Cruz’s happiness right now”.

The reality star recently announced her split from Brandon, two months after their relationship became public.

She said on the When Reality Hits podcast: “We actually did not last.

“We were very good friends before we started dating. It was kind of like a whirlwind relationship. It went into the public way sooner than we ever would have wanted it to.”

Despite this, Brittany insisted that she doesn’t harbour any ill will towards Brandon.

The reality TV star also explained that the relationship ended “amicably”.

She said: “We still care a lot about each other.

“It ended amicably, but I just could not do the long distance and he’s got a lot of obligations with his three kids and jobs, and we lived three hours away, so it was just too tough to keep it going. We really cared about each other. Hopefully, we can remain friends, but it’s just something I didn’t see that was going to be able to continue in the future.”

Meanwhile, Brittany previously claimed that she did her best to save her marriage to Jax.

The 46-year-old star struggled with addiction for years, but Brittany made every effort to help and support him, before she eventually walked away.

She said on When Reality Hits: “No one wants Jax to be better more than I do, let’s be real.

“I tried and tried and tried for years to help this man get better and for us to be a happy family, I was deeply and madly in love with him, there’s no one that can ever deny that.”

Akshay posted a selfie he took with Aarav, writing how, at his age, he was learning how to beat people up on screen. He wrote, “Happy 23rd, Aarav! When I was twenty three I was learning to beat up people on screen… it’s a strange feeling now to see you beat me everyday right from tech to fashion to arguments on the dinner table.”

He sweetly remarked about how his son has grown up now, adding, “Dekhte hi dekhte itna bada ho gaya hai yaar tu (You’ve grown up so fast)…you make me feel like a proud sidekick in my own story. Love you beta. Cheers to the best 23 years of my life because they’ve been with you.”

Twinkle also shared the same picture on her Instagram, remarking how she still wants to hold on to him, writing, “And he turns 23.
