Sharp Suits and More Sheer Dresses: Demi Moore’s Press Tour Wardrobe Is So Back

The look was very much in keeping with the Demi Moore and Goreski style playbook, and the rest of her press tour wardrobe so far has equally followed…suit. Moore turned up to Stephen Colbert wearing a sharp white Tom Ford blazer and flared trouser combo, an electric purple shirt, and a set of sunglasses that channeled Ford himself, toting a black envelope clutch and her teeny, micro chihuahua Pilaf. (One of Moore’s most beloved accessories). She also wore a more casual—but no less refined—Khaite and Jacquemus look with a blue, red, and cream argyle knit sweater and red leather pants. Stepping out again in NYC for a press day, Moore swathed herself in full Brandon Maxwell leathers from the designer’s fall 2025 collection, with a fringed skirt and the covetable new Maxwell bag.

Switching things up ever so slightly (while still relying on her Gucci ambassadorship), Moore wore a pre-fall 2025 purple, blue, and red bouclé jacket and matching mini dress with calf-length heeled boots and a cream horsebit bag. It was a sweet, and as always, sophisticated styled offering. Overall? So far, so Demi.

Season two of Landman sees Moore return to her role as Texas socialite Cami Miller, alongside Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, and Andy Garcia. Her part in the first season of the gritty oil industry drama was relatively low-key, but it’s been promised that Moore will step more into the fore this time.

It’s been a big week for Demi, who also celebrated her 63rd birthday. As great a time as ever to luxuriate in her signature style codes.

Zendaya Allegedly Refusing To Stand Next To “Euphoria” Co-Star Sydney Sweeney For 3rd Season Press Run, Wants NO Association w/ Her ‘Racist Ad’

Zendaya appears to be drawing a line in the sand when it comes to her relationship with #SydneySweeney.

According to insiders who spoke with the Daily Mail, the actress is “refusing” to share stage space with her #Euphoria co-star during the press tour for season 3. One source explained, “It’s a difficult position for #Zendaya to be in because if she even stands next to Sydney on the red carpet, it can be read as her excusing Sydney’s views on Trump and her refusal to apologise for the racist ad.”

The tension reportedly stems from Sweeney’s involvement in a controversial #AmericanEagle jeans ad, one critics labeled a promotion of eugenics, as well as her support for #DonaldTrump. Things allegedly worsened when Sweeney doubled down on the ad in a recent #GQ interview, saying, “When I have an issue I want to speak about, people will hear.”

Chile…at this rate, the red carpet might need assigned seating.

Ayo Edebiri Handles Rude Reporter After During Viral Press Conference

by jummy84 September 8, 2025
written by jummy84

After being disregarded during a question about the Black Lives Matter movement, Ayo Edebiri handled the exclusion most graciously— and answered the question anyway.

During a press conference at the Venice Film Festival, Edebiri was accompanied by her co-stars Julia Roberts and Andrew Garfield to promote their new movie, After The Hunt.

The film apparently draws comparisons to the #MeToo movement, and reporter Federica Polidoro took it upon herself to ask only Roberts and Garfield about the aftermath of the movements mentioned above, as it relates to Hollywood.

“What [have] we lost in the politically correct era? What [do] we have to expect in Hollywood after the Me Too movement and Black Lives Matter are done?” Polidoro asked before clarifying that she only wanted Roberts and Andrews to respond.

Edeberi, appearing shocked and confused, interjected in the most professional way.

“Yeah, I know that that’s not for me, and I don’t know if it’s purposeful if it’s not me, but I just am curious. I don’t think it’s done, I don’t think it’s done at all,” she replied.

She continued, “I think maybe hashtags might not be used as much, but I do think that there’s work being done by activists, by people, every day, that’s beautiful, important work that’s not finished, that’s really, really, really active – for a reason, because this world is really charged. And that work isn’t finished at all. Maybe [because] there’s not mainstream coverage in the way that it might’ve been […] But I don’t think it means that the work is done.”

Due to the backlash, Polidoro responded to the controversy with a lengthy “#officialstatement” on Instagram.

“Following an interview, I have been subjected to personal insults and attacks because of a question that, for some reason, was not well received by some members of the public. I find it striking that those who unjustly accuse me of racism and consider themselves custodians of justice find acceptable violent language, personal attacks, and cyberbullying,” she wrote.

Later, noting, “I would like to clarify that, rather than focusing on the thoughtful responses of Ayo Edebiri, Julia Roberts, and Andrew Garfield, the discussion continues solely on how I should have phrased the question. All the contributions from those present were reported in full in the published interview, without any omissions.”

Polidoro claimed to not been “aware of any protocol that dictates the order in which questions must be asked in an interview” and added, “To those who unjustly accuse me of racism, I would like to clarify that in my work I have interviewed people of every background and ethnicity, and my own family is multi-ethnic, matriarchal, and feminist, with a significant history of immigration. I have collaborated for over twenty years with numerous national and international publications of all political orientations, always approaching my work with openness and professional rigor. In my view, the real racists are those who see racism everywhere and seek to muzzle journalism, limiting freedom of analysis, critical thinking, and the plurality of perspectives.”

She, however, didn’t explain why she denied posing the question to all three panelists instead of just Roberts and Garfield.

bitchy | Donald Trump will do a proof-of-life press conference today, his first in a week

Did everyone have a restful Labor Day weekend? I really needed that – three days to decompress and relax. I’m ready for September now, I’m ready for whatever autumn has in store. Well, during the holiday weekend here in America, there was a significant amount of chatter about Donald Trump’s health. You see, Trump hasn’t had anything on his public schedule since last Tuesday, one week ago. On August 26 (the photo above), he chaired a cabinet meeting. Since that, nothing. He hasn’t given any unhinged press conferences or invited the press pool into the Oval Office for some kind of “signing ceremony” with a Sharpie. None of the White House press corps photographers have gotten any pics of him in a week. Instead, there were rumors circulating that Trump had been rushed to Walter Reed, that he suffered some kind of serious medical situation.

Keep in mind, throughout the holiday weekend, “Trump” kept posting on Truth Social, but those posts sound nothing like him. They sound like Stephen Miller trying and failing to imitate Dear Leader. At the same time, MAGA social media kept posting old photos of Trump and claiming that those photos were new. Even the White House account seemingly posted a months-old photo of Trump and suggested that it was new. Well, there were some genuine “sightings” of Bigly Foot – grainy pics where it looked like Trump’s head had been shaved under his hat. It also looks like his forehead is melting. I don’t even know at this point. What I do know is that Beltway media continues to be worthless – absolutely no one was camped out at Walter Reed, absolutely no one covered the weirdness around the old photos being passed off as new, and no one covered the growing social media chatter. Imagine if Joe Biden’s behavior was ever this strange.

Well, apparently Trump is giving a press conference at 2 pm today. I doubt it will be anything significant, but that’s just me trying to temper my expectations. I’m including some of the social media stuff below.

Austin Butler wants to ‘disappear’ after press tour

28 August 2025

Austin Butler plans to “disappear” after the Caught Stealing press tour.

Austin Butler plans to step back from the spotlight

The 34-year-old actor – who stars in the new crime thriller alongside Regina King, Zoe Kravitz, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, and Bad Bunny – has revealed that he intends to take a step back from the spotlight once the press tour ends.

Speaking to Extra, Austin shared: “After this press tour, I’m going to turn my phone off and I’m going to disappear. I find that that’s very, very good for the brain.

“Just get away from the noise, you know? Spend some time in nature.”

Austin admitted that he loves to be “around lovely people”.

He added: “Be of service. That’s something that I think about a lot.”

Austin also revealed that he relished the experience of working with Zoe Kravitz.

The Hollywood star explained: “You learn a lot … The ideas that she comes up with are really creative and nuanced, and she understands story. It’s a great thing to get to work with somebody like that.”

Meanwhile, Austin previously admitted that he’s still trying to understand fame.

Asked how he was coping with the pressures of success, Austin told The Sunday Times newspaper: “I’m trying to figure that out. One interesting thing is that internally not much changes – it’s just a collective idea of who you are that changes (from others.)

“And then, in every interview, you try to talk about who you actually are, but it’s so complex to try to quantify that.

“I just need to realise how privileged I am. And we all are – to have the life that we have.”

What’s more, Austin revealed that he “resonates” with “timeless” movie stars.

Austin – whose previous acting credits include Elvis and Dune: Part Two – explained: “I resonate with Paul Newman, Steve McQueen, Serge Gainsbourg. It’s not about quick fashion – when you look at a photo of McQueen from years ago, you think he could wear that today and look just as cool. Those are the people I look at.

“I just love this idea of timelessness.”

At ‘Jay Kelly’ Venice Press Conference, Adam Sandler Enters Oscar Race

by jummy84 August 28, 2025
written by jummy84

In the absence of George Clooney at some of the events of this year’s Venice Film Festival (he is recovering from a sinus infection), it’s fitting that one of co-star Adam Sandler’s favorite lines in “Jay Kelly,” his third film working with director Noah Baumbach is “You’re Jay Kelly, but I’m Jay Kelly, too.”

While it is said in a wildly different context in the film, the line does speak to the already fast-moving awards narrative surrounding “Jay Kelly,” even before the film first screened at the 82nd Venice Film Festival. It may be Clooney who stars as the titular “Jay Kelly,” but it is Sandler who is already getting the most Oscar buzz for his supporting role as Ron, Kelly’s longtime manager and friend.

Star Wars: Starfighter

While the film sees the fictional Jay Kelly, an A-list actor and major Hollywood icon, try to process why he did not initially feel very conflicted about choosing his career over his family, Sandler’s Ron is having a lot more of a struggle not being around for his children, in a way that mirrors how the actor functions in real life.

“Adam does have such grace and such loyalty and generosity of heart around people. He works with his family. He really does make an effort to involve [them] that’s different from Jay Kelly. He really has found a way to successfully navigate this whole thing and do it so beautifully,” said Baumbach during the film’s Venice press conference on Thursday. “To have him play somebody that, to me, represents Adam and that generosity of spirit, and also that loyalty and love that I see that comes from him, that the character feels for Jay.”

Though the role is not totally against type, as Sandler has played plenty of family men over the past decade, it does allow the comedian to lead from love instead of anger, in a way that likely will tug on Academy voters’ heartstrings more than “Uncut Gems” ever could.

And “Jay Kelly” is really an actors’ film, shedding a positive light on Oscar winners Clooney and Laura Dern as well, who said, “Noah Baumbach had me at hello, so I’ll go wherever he asks.” The Netflix film is her first collaboration with Baumbach since she won Best Supporting Actress for her role in his 2019 film “Marriage Story.”

The most likely prospect for “Jay Kelly” is for Sandler to follow suit, with a big Best Supporting Actor push, though Best Actor and Best Supporting Actress nominations for Clooney and Dern are not out of the cards.

“I could not be more proud. … The feeling it gives you. You lock in. You’re invested. Your heart is broken. You get relief,” said Sandler of working with Baumbach. “He knows how to do everything, and he finds places to make you laugh. And all our characters have ways of you if you watch them, to laugh at any new moment, to feel pain. And as an actor, all of us, you read a script like this, you say, ‘Holy shit, I can’t believe that I’m getting this gift.’”

Netflix will release “Jay Kelly” in theaters on Friday, November 14 with a streaming release to follow on Friday, December 5.
