Brad Pitt Or Shah Rukh Khan? ‘King’ Teaser Has Fans Divided Over SRK’s Latest Avatar! | Glamsham.com

The first look of Shah Rukh Khan’s much-anticipated action drama King was revealed on November 2, on the occasion of the superstar’s 60th birthday. The teaser went viral in no time, as fans celebrated the return of the Badshah to the big screen with yet another stylish collaboration with director Siddharth Anand. However, the excitement soon gave way to a spirited online debate after many noticed an uncanny resemblance between Shah Rukh’s look in the teaser and Brad Pitt’s appearance in F1: The Movie.

In the teaser, Shah Rukh is seen wearing a mustard suede jacket over a light blue denim shirt, completed with a crossbody bag and aviator sunglasses. The overall outfit-casual with an effortless suave-is pretty much a dead ringer for what Brad Pitt wore in F1: The Movie. For fans, the similarities were impossible to ignore: side-by-side comparisons and reactions flooded social media. If some felt that the makers had borrowed a bit too from Pitt’s look, others saw this as a conscious creative decision.

Always knew you copied Brad Pitt’s style, didn’t expect you’ll replicate the exact same outfit of that iconic so soon!

That outfit.. 2 duffels of similar colors that hairstyle!@iamsrk @justSidAnand #KING pic.twitter.com/yaborTokpm

Criticism poured in from some quarters as one user commented, “Copy paste hogaya yeh scene, Brad Pitt hakla aur mid Anand copy paste master hai #King.” “Sid copycat Anand being his usual self lol,” added another, while another said, “Didn’t expect SRK to replicate the exact same outfit-same duffels, same hairstyle! @iamsrk @justSidAnand #KING.” The accusations of imitation triggered a broader debate on Bollywood styling and how global influences are crossing into the imitation zone.

Of course, not everyone was critical. Many fans came to the look’s defense, theorizing it was an intentional homage rather than a case of copying. “I think this was intentional; a homage to Brad Pitt’s #F1 look,” one commented. Another post read, “Manifested SRK to look like Brad Pitt in F1 and the Universe didn’t even hesitate.” Others even celebrated the resemblance, saying it lent SRK an “international flair” fitting for King’s global action aesthetic.

Helmed by Siddharth Anand, King is among the most awaited Bollywood releases of 2025 and marks Shah Rukh Khan’s first on-screen collaboration with his daughter, Suhana Khan. The ensemble cast of the film also includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal, Anil Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma. Homage or coincidence, the teaser has definitely managed to create much noise ahead of King’s release.

Brad Pitt’s love life has always fascinated fans, from his string of high-profile relationships in the 1990s to his headline-making marriages. The Oscar-winning actor was briefly married to Jennifer Aniston from 2000 to 2005 before beginning his long-term relationship with Angelina Jolie. The two, famously known as “Brangelina,” tied the knot in 2014 but divorced five years later.

In recent years, Brad has found happiness again with jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, who is 29 years his junior. The couple were first spotted together in late 2022 and have kept their relationship mostly private while continuing to grow closer. According to People, they are now “fully living together” and planning for the future, with sources saying Brad is “happier than ever.”

Take a look back at their relationship timeline and how their romance has evolved.

Ines and Her Husband Paul Wesley Split: September 2022

Before she was connected to Brad, Ines was married to The Vampire Diaries star Paul Wesley. The pair were wed from 2019 until they separated in 2022. While it wasn’t reported that they’d separated until September, a statement from their rep at the time indicated that they’d actually split months before.

Brad and Ines Seen at Bono Concert: November 2022

Two months after it was revealed that Ines and Paul had broken up, Brad was seen attending a Bono concert with Ines in November 2022. While the two stood close to each other at the U2 frontman’s LA show, they were also seen hugging as they met up with some fellow A-list stars.

Shortly after they were seen, different reports indicated that Ines and the Fight Club star had been dating for some time. Other insiders said that Brad was “really into” her, according to People.

Brad Celebrates His Birthday With Ines: December 2022

After being seen at the Bono concert, the pair were spotted for a date night, celebrating Brad’s 59th birthday on December 18. The two were seen walking from a car for a night out on the town, and it seemed like they had a great time together.

Brad and Ines Ring In the New Year in Mexico: January 2023

Just weeks after celebrating Brad’s birthday, the two were seen kicking off the new year with a vacation to Cabo. They had New Year’s Eve celebrations on their vacation. The two were seen sunbathing as they relaxed by the pool with some sweet rest and relaxation to start 2023 off on the right foot.

Brad Is “Smitten” With Ines: January 2023

After the couple’s Mexico vacation, a source close to Brad revealed to Hollywood Life exclusively that he was really into her, because of how smart she was, but also her enjoyment of adventure. The insider said that he really enjoyed speaking to her about fashion and style. “Brad is smitten with Ines and always looks forward to spending as much time with her as possible,” they said. “It’s too early to tell where things might go between them, and he knows she just got out a marriage, but he appreciates having her by his side. She’s a very uplifting energy.”

Ines Is Seen With Flowers On Valentine’s Day: February 2023

While it’s not clear if Brad and Ines did anything together on Valentine’s Day, the Anita Ko vice president was seen walking with a gigantic bouquet of flowers as she left work. She had a huge smile on her face as she carried the beautiful arrangement.

Paul Wesley Files for Divorce From Ines: February 2023

After their separation was announced in September, Paul filed paperwork to divorce Ines on February 17, 2023. He cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split, and he requested that their assets and property be sorted at a later date.

Brad and Ines Dine Together in Paris: February 2023

Shortly after Paul filed for divorce, Brad and Ines were spotted enjoying a romantic evening in the City of Light on February 25, 2023. The two were dressed in chic outfits as they enjoyed a delicious meal at Fouquet’s on Champs-Élysées.

Ines Wears a “B” Necklace: June 2023

While Brad is one of the most famous actors in the world, he has kept his rumored relationship with Ines very private. Despite the two of them rarely being spotted together, a source close to the situation revealed that the jewelry designer showed her love by “wear[ing] a necklace with a ‘B’ initial,” according to a report from Us Weekly.

Brad Hasn’t Introduced Ines to His Kids Yet: October 2023

In July, a new report said that Brad and Ines were doing very well. A source told PEOPLE that they were “very into each other,” and said that they were “been spending a lot of time together this summer as they truly enjoy each other’s company.”

Most recently, an insider revealed that Brad has yet to introduce Ines to his six kids, according to Us Weekly. “It’s not that he doesn’t love Ines, it’s just that he wants to ensure this relationship is going the distance before he takes that major step,” the source told the outlet. “He’s dated a few women over the years but hasn’t introduced any of his children to them.”

Brad Has Been Calling Ines His ‘Girlfriend’: November 2023

By the end of the year, Brad reportedly had been calling Ines his “girlfriend” to his friends, according to PEOPLE. A source told the outlet, “This is Brad’s first proper relationship since the divorce. He introduces [Ines] as his girlfriend.”

Brad and Ines Are ‘Doing Well’: January 2024

According to a report by Entertainment Tonight, Brad and Ines were “doing really well” together.

“They’re very happy together and Brad’s friends think they make a great match,” a source told the outlet. “Ines is happy to be out of the spotlight and let Brad take the lead. Brad is a gentleman and very generous, thoughtful, sweet, and funny.”

Although there’s no word on how serious they are, the insider told the outlet, “They have a lot of fun together and are enjoying where things are going.”

Ines Moves In With Brad: February 2024

Just after Valentine’s Day, it was reported that Ines had moved in with the Fight Club star, according to a report from People. A source close to the situation said that she has not sold her place despite moving in, but they said that even though the move is “pretty recent,” they’re both very glad to be together. “They are going very strong and she is happier than ever,” they said.

Red Carpet Debut: 2024 Venice Film Festival

Brad and Ines made their first public red carpet appearance together at the 2024 Venice Film Festival.

Moving In: October 2025

By October 2025, Brad and Ines reached a new chapter in their relationship. According to People, the couple are “fully living together” and “happier than ever.” A source said, “Brad is really including Ines in all his travel plans, and when they are home, they just relax together. They are really making their home into a home.”

EXCLUSIVE: Five year-old child actor Wesley River, who recently made his screen debut on hit TV series The Pitt, has joined indie movie Foster, alongside James Franco, Ron Perlman, and Natalie Burn.

Filming has recently wrapped on the 1980s-set action-thriller whose plot reads: “Donald “Don” Foster (Franco) is a man haunted by his past and clawing his way through sobriety, who just wants peace — one day at a time. But when June (Burn), a troubled addict, leaves her young son (River) on his doorstep, Don is dragged back into the violent underworld he thought he left behind. Hunted by his former boss, Brooks (Perlman) — a ruthless crime lord who knows every secret Don swore to bury — Don must fight for redemption, protect the boy, and face the sins of the woman who pulled him back in… one bullet at a time.”

Born To Burn Films produces. Emmy winner Timothy Woodward Jr (Studio City) is directing, with Top Film Distribution handling international sales.

River booked his first screen appearance with a recurring role as Tyler Jones on The Pitt, playing a boy hospitalized after accidentally ingesting his parents’ weed gummies.

River is represented by Thruline Entertainment and Love Talent.

Sarah Paulson helped her friend Katherine LaNasa navigate her first Primetime Emmy Awards.

Sarah Paulson helped her friend Katherine LaNasa through her first Primetime Emmy Awards

The 50-year-old actress said her pal gave her the nickname “Emmys coach” after Sarah told Katherine, 58, to stay calm and enjoy the awards bash – which was held at the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, California, on September 14.

Sarah told People: “She calls me her Emmys coach because I’ve been really fortunate to have gone and run that gauntlet a couple of times, and I’ve won and I’ve lost.

“I just sort of was trying to remind her of all the things that nobody was there to tell me about, which is to try to breathe and take it all in and enjoy the moment and just try to be where your feet are.”

The American Horror Story actress went on to share that Hollywood legend Jamie Lee Curtis, 66, had previously given her similar advice.

Sarah said of the Freakier Friday actress: “When I was going through a particularly anxious time … [Curtis] said, ‘More will be revealed. Be where your feet are.’ And so I said the same to Katherine.

“[It’s} this beautiful chain of women sharing with other women the things that they’ve learned and helping them sort of move through these very bizarre things that we’re asked to do in terms of Emmy Awards and all that stuff.”

This year’s Primetime Emmys proved to be an unforgettable night for Katherine as she bagged the Best Supporting Actress in a Drama Series gong for her role as charge nurse Dana Evans in the HBO Max medical drama, The Pitt.

She said in her emotional acceptance speech: “Oh, I am so proud and honoured to receive this award from the Academy.

“My whole career, I wanted to work for John Wells [Executive Producer of The Pitt], and he elevates everything in his wake. John, I’m so much better when you’re around, mostly because I don’t want to get fired.

“Thank you, Scott Gemmill [Executive Producer of The Pitt], the writers and all the nurses that inspired Dana, Noah Wyle [who plays Dr. Michael “Robby” Rabinovitch in The Pitt], oh my God!”

And Katherine closed out her acceptance speech by thanking her family.

She said: “And lastly, my children [son Henry Hopper and daughter Eloise Show], for making me real and my beautiful husband, Grant Show, for helping me always with everything.”

All the months of FYC events and campaigning to recognize the best in television art from the past season have come to a close. The 2025 Emmys have wrapped from L.A. Live’s Peacock Theater where they were hosted by comedian Nate Bargatze.

“The Studio” ended up breaking the record for the most Emmys ever won by a comedy series in its first season with 13 overall, including the awards for Best Actor in a Comedy Series to Seth Rogen, Best Directing of a Comedy to Rogen and Evan Goldberg, and Best Writing of a Comedy to Rogen and the whole team. And finally, Outstanding Comedy Series (a fourth for Rogen, as a producer on the show, which ties the record for the most Emmys won in one night by an individual). Yes, Seth Rogen ended up winning four Emmys himself after having previously been nominated for five Emmys in previous years and never won. Nine of the 13 Emmys for “The Studio” were handed out at the Creative Arts Emmys September 16.

Norman Lear Awards to Honor ‘The Pitt,’ ‘Dying for Sex,’ ‘Shrinking’

The Norman Lear Awards for TV That Makes a Difference, formerly the Sentinel Awards, will honor The Pitt, Dying for Sex, Shrinking and other series for their powerful storytelling this October.

The additional series being recognized for their depictions of meaningful issues like racism, cancer and climate change are Chicago Med, Grey’s Anatomy, Matlock and Paradise.

The Pitt will receive the Culture of Health Award for its first season. Chicago Med is being recognized for its exploration of racial disparities in health care in its “Trust Fall” episode. Dying for Sex will be honored for its approach to breast cancer in the episode titled, “It’s Not That Serious.” Grey’s Anatomy will be recognized for its exploration of advances in medicine/clinical trials with its “Ridin’ Solo” episode. Matlock’s look at addiction and recovery in the “Claws” episode is being awarded, as is how Paradise tackled climate change in “The Day.” And Shrinking‘s second-season “Last Thanksgiving” episode will be recognized for how it explored caregiving.

The honors, presented by the Hollywood, Health & Society program at USC Annenberg’s Norman Lear Center, are being renamed in honor of the late, trailblazing writer and producer behind All in the Family, The Jeffersons, Maude and One Day at a Time.

“Norman would be thrilled that this award carries his name,” said producer Lyn Lear, his wife of 37 years, in a statement. “He loved what HH&S does, as do I, and he loved celebrating the creative community’s passion for making a difference.”

The Lear Center founding director and Lear chair in entertainment, media and society at Annenberg, Marty Kaplan, added, “Writers and actors love being on a hit show. These awards remind us they also love being on a show that matters.”

As for The Pitt, the awards said in Thursday’s announcement that the Emmy-nominated medical drama provides “an unflinching look at the embattled healthcare system coping with staff shortages and deep cuts.”

“We were delighted to connect the writers of The Pitt with experts on a range of topics,” HH&S director, Kate Folb, said in a statement. “It’s what we can do for any show.”

Scripted shows from network, cable and streaming services were reviewed by awards judges twice: for accuracy of information and then for entertainment value and potential benefit to the viewing audience.

The 2025 Norman Lear Awards for TV That Makes a Difference will be presented at the Writers Guild Theater in Beverly Hills on Monday, Oct. 27.

The Pitt Season 2 Details: Everything We Know About Noah Wyle’s Return as Dr. Robby

The Pitt season 2 will be here sooner than you think.

Max confirmed the return of the heart-palpitating medical drama back in February, just one month after audiences were introduced to ER doctor Michael “Robby” Rabinovitch (played by ER alum Noah Wyle) and a less-than-merry band of overworked medical professionals at Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center.

“It’s been a thrill to watch audiences embrace The Pitt as an update to procedural storytelling with a cast who authentically embody the heroics of doctors and nurses on shift in a 2025 emergency room,” the head of Max Original Programming, Sarah Aubrey, said in a statement announcing the second season.

What do we know about the next season of The Pitt so far? Way more than we know about season 4 of The White Lotus, that’s for sure. Here’s all the details we know about The Pitt season 2, including an ominous message about future plot lines, hints about the cast and characters, plus an honest-to-God premiere month.

When will The Pitt season 2 premiere?

Though fans have gotten used to yearslong waits between seasons of their favorite shows, Max CEO Casey Bloys promised that The Pitt’s season 2 will begin airing in January 2026.

“On [Max], we have shows like House of the Dragon, The Last of Us, and White Lotus, which, because of how they’re made, can take two years to make,” he told Vulture in April. “What I love about something like The Pitt is, I can get 15 episodes in a year. That’s a really great addition to what we’re already doing on the platform. And I’d like to do more shows in this model.”

Noah Wyle, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, is already hard at work in the writers room, telling Variety that filming will commence in June 2025.

How many episodes will there be?

As in season 1, The Pitt will take us through a 15-hour shift over the course of 15 episodes. “It is going to be a single shift,” executive producer John Wells told Entertainment Weekly after the season 1 finale. “The intent here is to let us follow and understand and feel what happens to emergency room physicians and all the other medical personnel during those kinds of shifts.”

When will The Pitt season 2 take place?

Executive producer R. Scott Gemmill recently revealed a time-jump during an appearance at Deadline’s Contenders TV event in April. According to Gemmill, season 2 will take place over a Fourth of July weekend 10 months after the events of season 1. Oh boy.

Which cast members are returning?

Aside from Wyle, other familiar faces will return in season two, including Shabana Azeez as medical student Dr. Javadi, Patrick Ball as Dr. Frank Langdon, Katherine LaNasa as Nurse Dana, Fiona Dourif as Dr. McKay, Supriya Ganesh as Dr. Samira Mohan, and Taylor Dearden as Dr. Melissa “Mel” King.

Tiffany Haddish is setting the record straight.

During her guest-host stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Haddish addressed claims that she secretly had a child with Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee. She explained, “It was a picture of me and my friend Jason Lee posing with the baby and the caption, ‘Cats out the bag.’ For some reason, people saw this and thought I had a baby.”

Haddish clarified that the baby isn’t hers, but then shared her list of potential baby daddies. Among the prospects were stars like Tom Cruise, Jason Momoa, Brad Pitt, Giancarlo Stanton, Melvin Robert, and Pedro Pascal.

She wrapped up by encouraging anyone interested to reach out on social media using the hashtag Pastrami Mommy.

R. Scott Gemmill on HBO Max’s Hit Medical Drama ‘The Pitt’

by jummy84 August 20, 2025
written by jummy84

The Pitt, which is nominated for 13 Emmys, has eerie parallels to the real world. Not only did its episode on measles debut the week of an outbreak in the U.S., but the HBO Max drama also grappled with a hospital’s lack of resources amid a larger culture of health care haves and have-nots, not unlike President Trump’s recent “Big Beautiful Bill” proposal that likely will lead to millions of people losing their Medicaid benefits.

Dr. Robby to the rescue? The Pitt’s creator and showrunner R. Scott Gemmill says only Noah Wyle could embrace the titular role in this timeless series.

The show had an interesting trajectory in the way it got started. I know you said you never wanted to do a medical drama again after ER.

Yes correct. I didn’t want to do one. We had done what was I thought was considered the best version, and we had done so many stories. So it was like, what would you do differently? And I would always want to go back to the ER, because it’s the most dynamic place in medicine for me. I had a way to do it as a reboot for ER, and then when that didn’t work, we just walked away. We were back to square one. And then when HBO Max said they still wanted to do a medical show, then it was sort of a clean slate, other than it was going to be me, John Wells and Noah Wyle and my friend Joe. I wanted Joe Sachs to work on the show with me, but it was like, what does a new show look like in this era and for streaming? It was great because we got to reinvent what we’d done before, and build on what we knew worked, and try things that we were totally untested by us.

How did you settle on the idea of The Pitt? I know Noah was getting an influx of messages from health care workers during COVID about how hard it was in the sector.

That was happening to Noah, but I was unaware. After COVID, I was going to develop [an idea] with another writer friend. We’d worked on shows together, including ER, and were developing and weren’t having a lot of luck. Everybody was struggling. He said, “Why wouldn’t John [Wells, executive producer on ER and The Pitt] reboot ER?” And I gave him this list of why we would never do it again. And then I said, “If there was ever a way, it would have to be very different, but same.” And I came up with a way that involved Noah. I only was going to do it if it was Noah. I knew I would have access to the original footage of ER so I could do scenes with Noah as Dr. John Carter and flash back to him as John Carter as a med student. And never in the history of television has anyone had access to footage of an actor playing the same role 30 years earlier. It never got off the ground, unfortunately. So then HBO said, “We want a medical show. What can we do?” Noah was already involved. John was already involved. And that’s where we started.

And ultimately, you decided to do a series shot in real time.

With Noah playing a doctor and also playing, because we were post COVID, a doctor that I knew from the get go was probably going to be suffering from PTSD… that, between the Robbie character and the 12 hour shift, that was sort of the how it really all started.

The show has been lauded for its realistic portrayal of hospital care and the many details that make it authentic. For example, there’s no music.

That was a big idea to sell. I did at least two episodes of ER without any music, and I knew if it was written in a specific way, you can get by without the music. That was a bit of a challenge. Not everyone was as enthusiastic about the idea, and we even tried putting music in a couple of scenes, and it just doesn’t work. … If you’ve ever been in an ER, it’s noisy, it’s horrible. And the only way to really capture that was to not have any music, so you’re not telling anyone what to feel.

What type of research goes into writing a show like this?

Research is a huge part of our show. For the mass casualty episode, we went through all the interviews that happened in Las Vegas at the mass shooting there, talked to experts who are responsible for prepping for the mass casualty situations. We even came up with some new things: The slap bands was something that we came up with for identifying patients in triage, to the point where we had people asking where they could get those.

Which scene was the most challenging for you to write?

I think Robbie’s breakdown was a little difficult. I worked with Noah a lot with that, because it’s very easy for me to write, “Robbie breaks down.” I’m very, very sympathetic about acting, and I really encourage even my writers to spend some time acting so that they understand the dynamics of the scene. Every character has some sort of intention for a scene, and once you learn that, I think it makes you a better writer. So that’s really a collaborative process.

It is eerie that some storylines are playing out the way they are in real life.

That happens more often than you realize. Our purpose is to predict a little bit. The mass casualty, that happens constantly; the measles outbreak was inevitable. The problems that Medicare and the Medicaid cuts are going to cause are inevitable, because once people can’t afford insurance, where do they go for medical care? They go to the free clinics, or they go to the ER, and they get busier and busier. We’re tapping into the experts all the time to get a leg up on, “What are the concerns?” Especially with medicine, you don’t want to be playing catch-up. Once it’s out in the open, it’s already a problem. And that’s what makes the ER so fundamentally great for storytelling is that everything shows up in the ER, and it usually shows up there before it shows up everywhere else. It’s like the canary in the coal mine. The ER has its pulse on what’s going on with society.

What can we expect for S2?

Noah’s gonna write two epidodes, and I think he’s gonna direct at least one. He’s directing episode six. He wrote episode three. And I forget what other episode he’s gonna write. I guess he’s bored. We’ll see some new faces, which is nice. We’ll see some new med students and some new doctor faces, we’ll see some of the people from before, some returns. and hopefully we’ll see some revelations about some of our other characters.
