“Why does Saint Nick get all the credit? Moms do all the work.” It’s Mom’s time to have some fun! Prime Video has debuted their official trailer for a Christmas comedy movie called Oh. What. Fun, from director Michael Showalter. This raucous comedy is ready to debut streaming in December – it’s skipping theaters entirely for an online release. Michelle Pfeiffer stars as Claire Clauster – she makes the Christmas magic happen every year for her family but her children & grandchildren don’t realize the effort it takes, until she goes missing. Claire’s already set off on a festive adventure of her own – it’s one that doesn’t involve cooking, cleaning, or coordinating anyone else’s chaos. When they realize she’s missing, their holiday is at risk until she returns to give them a celebration they deserve. Along with Pfeiffer, it also stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Danielle Brooks, Denis Leary, Dominic Sessa, Havana Rose Liu, Maude Apatow, Eva Longoria, Jason Schwartzman, Devery Jacobs, Joan Chen. The fun film is “a wink to every overworked holiday host, the film celebrates family, freedom, and the unexpected magic of a Christmas gone off-script.” Looks crazy fun and kooky and wild! Might be entertaining enough to watch with the whole family one evening. 🎄

Here’s the full official trailer for Michael Showalter’s comedy film Oh. What. Fun., direct from YouTube:

Claire Clauster (Michelle Pfeiffer) is the glue that holds her chaotic, lovable family together every holiday season. From perfectly frosted cookies to meticulously wrapped gifts, no one “decks the halls” quite like Claire. But this year, as her grown kids & distracted husband get swept up in their own seasonal drama, they make a crucial mistake: they forget their mom. By the time they realize she’s missing, Claire’s already set off on a festive adventure of her own – it’s one that doesn’t involve cooking, cleaning, or coordinating anyone else’s chaos. As her family scrambles to find her and salvage their Christmas, Claire rediscovers what the holidays mean when you’re finally free to put yourself first. Oh. What. Fun. is directed by the American filmmaker Michael Showalter, director of the films The Baxter, Hello My Name is Doris, The Big Sick, The Lovebirds, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, Spoiler Alert, and The Idea of You previously. The screenplay is written by Chandler Baker & Michael Showalter; from a story by Chandler Baker. Produced by Kate Churchill, Jordana Mollick, Jane Rosenthal, Michael Showalter, Berry Welsh. Amazon will release Oh. What. Fun. streaming on Prime Video starting on December 3rd, 2025 coming soon. Want to watch this?

Michelle Pfeiffer Becomes Grandmother

Michelle Pfeiffer Becomes Grandmother

by jummy84 September 30, 2025

Michelle Pfeiffer was a smooth rider into the newest phase of her life.

The Grease 2 actress, 67, revealed that she recently became a first-time grandmother, which has impacted how much of her schedule she is willing to devote toward her work.

“I don’t have time nor the desire to go that deep for that long and not be present,” Michelle said on the Sept. 29 episode of the SmartLess podcast. “I realize I have a finite amount of time left and—I might announce on this show—that I became a grandmother last year.”

While the three-time Oscar nominee—who shares kids Claudia, 32, and John, 31, with husband David E. Kelley—didn’t reveal which of her children welcomed a baby, she added, “I’ve been very quiet about it and it is heaven. It’s ridiculous.”

And although Michelle shared that she wasn’t expecting to become a grandparent last year, it’s a role she wants to fill more than any of her others.

The show was greenlit in 2023 and boasts a star-studded cast with Michelle Pfeiffer in the lead role.

Now, as reported by Deadline, the latest addition to The Madison is film and TV star Kurt Russell.

Kurt Russell in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Apple TV+

Russell, perhaps best known for roles in Escape from New York, The Thing, and Quentin Tarantino flicks The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, joins the cast fresh off the back of playing Lee Shaw in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters.

Although Russell is confirmed as part of The Madison’s cast, his role is yet to be determined.

Russell and Pfeiffer join the previously announced cast of Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova and Kevin Zegers.

Like with previous entries in the Yellowstone universe, The Madison is created and written by the show’s original creator Taylor Sheridan.
