Sarah Paulson always thought Pedro Pascal was “the most talent person” she knew.

Sarah Paulson opens up on Pedro Pascal friendship

The All’s Fair actress has opened up about her longtime friendship with the Hollywood megastar, who broke out as a major name with high profile roles in the likes of The Mandalorian, The Last Of Us and The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Asked on Watch What Happens Live if she saw this level of superstardom in his future, she told host Andy Cohen: “Here’s what I… well, this level is hard to imagine, I think, for anyone.

“It’s hard to image, but I always knew he was the most talented person I knew. And I knew that if anything was right in the world, that his working life would become this.

“So, it’s not surprising to me from a talent level, but anytime someone has a… that doesn’t really happen that much anymore, where someone like bursts on the scene and has a thing.”

The chat show host also asked the American Horror Story star to name “the one thing about your best friendship with Pedro Pascal that his fans would be surprised to know”.

After jokingly branding her friend “a b**** baby”, she gave a more serious answer.

She added: “He, you know, has a lot of demands, is what I feel. A lot of demands, which he would argue are my demands, and I argue they’re his.

“We’re like, we’re brother and sister.”

She quipped that her friend “pays for dinner now”, and revealed his incredible passion for films.

She explained: “He’s a real cinephile. That’s something that people would maybe be surprised to know.

“Like, he is, he knows about more movies than any, than the Letterboxd place that I go to. “And he drags me to all the scariest movies that I don’t want to see. So, that’s something he likes to do, is take me to scary movies.”

After making a style statement at Paris Fashion Week, Ananya Panday shared a fan moment with Hollywood star Pedro Pascal. However, what has grabbed everyone’s attention on social media isn’t just the meeting, it’s Pedro’s eye-catching bag too.

Ananya Panday went to Paris to attend Paris Fashion Week.

Ananya meets Pedro Pascal

On the closing day of the Paris Fashion Week, Chanel hosted the anticipated debut collection of its new artistic director, Matthieu Blazy.

The fashion show was attended by 2300 guests which included names such as Ananya, Sofia Coppola, Tilda Swinton, Penelope Cruz, Nicole Kidman, Pedro Pascal, Margot Robbie, Carrie Coon and Marion Cotillard. Ananya is the French luxury brand’s Indian brand ambassador.

Multiple photos of Ananya meeting Pedro have been making rounds on social media. The duo can be seen posing for pictures with radiant smiles, and beyond the cameras, they were also spotted sharing a lively conversation.

Social media lit up seeing the duo together, with many fans zooming in on Pedro’s stylish bag – prompting comparisons to Joey’s purse from an episode of the hit show Friends.

One wrote, “Very happy for Ananya…you go girl… After all the trolls and questioning her talent she proved her haters wrong and now reaching heights. Much love”, with another sharing, “Joey Was Right… It’s a fashion for men too.”

“That’s Joey’s bag,” one noted, with one saying, “Pedro Pascal with Joey’s purse”.

“The world is finally ready for Rachel’s fashion sense,” one wrote, with one cheering for Ananya, “Aniee Poo for the win.”

In Paris, Ananya also attended the BoF 500 Gala at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris, on the sidelines of the Paris Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2026, on October 4.

Ananya’s recent work

Ananya was last seen in the historical drama Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh, alongside Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, directed by Karan Singh Tyagi. The film received praise from both fans and critics.

She has now completed filming Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri, her second collaboration with Kartik Aaryan after their hit film Pati Patni Aur Woh. Directed by Sameer Vidhwans (Satyaprem Ki Katha) and produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Entertainment, the film also stars Neena Gupta and Jackie Shroff, and is slated for a release later this year. Ananya is set to appear in the romantic drama Chand Mera Dil, opposite Lakshya, and will return for Call Me Bae Season 2.

Jon Favreau Directs Pedro Pascal

The little green guy is back.

The “Star Wars” alien who launched a million gifs, Grogu, a.ka. “Baby Yoda,” is back in the first teaser for Jon Favreau‘s “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” hitting theaters May 22, 2026. Watch it below.

This’ll be a big moment for Lucasfilm, as it’ll be the first “Star Wars” theatrical release in six and a half years… and a big test for the staying power of its Disney+ streaming series. Will “The Mandalorian,” which streamed for two beloved, and one less beloved, seasons on the service that it helped launch successfully translate to the big screen?

A kind of “Star Wars” version of “Lone Wolf and Cub,” with the title character warrior (Pedro Pascal) taking in an infant from the same species as Yoda and eventually adopting him as his own, “The Mandalorian” was launch content for Disney+ in 2019 and created by this movie’s helmer, Jon Favreau. It’s been a pioneering series in many respects, especially for its breakthrough use of an LED Volume for creating realistic backgrounds on-set while actors are shooting as opposed to compositing in visual effects later. The tech has been adopted by many other series, including the whole suite of “Star Trek” shows on Paramount+.

'IT WAS JUST AN ACCIDENT', (aka YEK TASADEF SADEH, aka UN SIMPLE ACCIDENT), Vahid Mobasseri, 2025.

“The Mandalorian and Grogu” looks very faithful to the series, with the two characters wandering the galaxy and getting into adventures. If anything it may be a reset to the series’ status quo: Mando’s ship, the Razor Crest, was destroyed in Season 2, and yet here it is in the teaser seemingly restored to life. The Anzellans (like Babu Frik!), little mechanically-inclined aliens no bigger than Grogu who resented his hugs (“Bad baby! No squeezee!”) in Season 3, are back as well.

New this time around, though, is Sigourney Weaver as a New Republic military official. Given her jacket, it looks like she might be a starfighter pilot, but time will tell. It seems that our dynamic duo will run afoul of the ongoing conflict between the New Republic (what the Rebel alliance has turned into at this period five-plus years after “Return of the Jedi”) and the Imperial Remnant, which we know in the “Ahsoka” series is building toward a big conflict with Lars Mikkelsen’s baddie Grand Admiral Thrawn.

And also, we get a glimpse for the first time of a musclebound Hutt here, apparently leading his own version of galaxy far, far away UFC octagon, that has been widely reported to be voiced by Jeremy Allen White. From “The Iron Claw” to the Hutt clan.

Watch the teaser for “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” in theaters May 22, 2026, below.

Pedro Pascal, Sigourney Weaver Star Wars Film

“Star Wars” fans are one step closer to returning to a galaxy far, far away.

The first trailer for director Jon Favreau’s “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” the upcoming “Star Wars” film starring Pedro Pascal from his “Mandalorian” Disney+ series, has been revealed.

“The Mandalorian and Grogu” was first announced in January 2024 as the next “Star Wars” movie in development, and it’s set to hit theaters on May 22, 2026. In addition to Pascal’s masked Mandalorian character and his adorable sidekick Grogu (better known as Baby Yoda), the cast also includes Sigourney Weaver as a fighter pilot, Jeremy Allen White as Jabba the Hutt’s son and Jonny Coyne as an imperial warlord.

“I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created,” Favreau said when the film was first revealed. “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”

The “Mandalorian” series takes place after the fall of the Galactic Empire in “Star Wars: Return of the Jedi,” where a lone mercenary (a Mandalorian from the planet Mandalore) makes his way through the outer reaches of the lawless galaxy. Along the way, he meets Grogu (a force-sensitive creature from the same species as Jedi Master Yoda), and the two form an unlikely bond as they trek across the galaxy far, far away, avoiding the vestiges of the Empire and meeting characters from across the Star Wars canon.

Favreau is producing the film alongside Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and Filoni, Lucasfilm CCO and former supervising director of the beloved animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”
