The upcoming romantic drama of Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, has finally locked a new release date: December 25, 2025. The film is the second collaboration between the two after Pati Patni Aur Woh and promises to be one of the most awaited year-end releases.

Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, shooting for the film commenced in May 2025. Announcing its Christmas release, the makers shared a vibrant new poster of Ananya piggybacking on Kartik, aptly capturing their playful chemistry. Kartik shared the poster and wrote, “I’m coming again!! This time CHRISTMAS 25th DECEMBER #TuMeriMainTeraMainTeraTuMeri.” The post instantly went viral as fans thronged the comments section, sounding excited and calling it “the best Christmas gift ever.”

This actually isn’t the first time this movie’s release date has changed. First set for February 13, 2026, on Valentine’s Day, it moved up to December 31, 2025. As of now, this latest update confirms its Christmas Day theatrical arrival as a romantic treat during the holidays.

Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri holds special significance because it reunites Kartik Aaryan with Karan Johar after their highly-publicized falling out during the shelved Dostana 2 project, announced pre-pandemic. The new film moves them to a fresh chapter between the actor and the filmmaker who appear to have reconciled professionally.

Ananya Panday confirms her tan is natural, settling the rumours of fake tan after her appearance at the premiere of The Bads of Bollywood. 

Ananya Panday recently found herself at the centre of trolling. When the actor attended the premiere of The Ba***ds of Bollywood, her body from neck down appeared several shades darker and more bronzed than her face. Netizens called it out, suspicious that the tan has been artificially applied with body bronzer, which is a cosmetic product that gives a sun-kissed tanned glow without sun exposure.

In a recent video posted by fashion critic Diet Sabya, the actor put all rumours to rest, demonstrating live that her tan is completely natural.

Ananya’s test

In the video, Ananya gave a live swipe test for all the trolls, reiterating that her tan is natural. She rubbed a towel against her tanned arms, and it remained completely clean, showing no brown smears or traces of bronzer or any product.

The actor said, “Test of bronzer which y’all are saying that I have put.. there’s nothing. It is called going on a good holiday and getting a tan.” The swipe test was a clear rebuttal to the accusation of fake tans, leaving no room for doubt for the trolls. It is natural to get a tan, especially in tropical destinations like the Maldives, where she has recently vacationed.

With the tan, Ananya appeared a few shades darker, and one user appreciated this: “So good to see someone go against traditional notions of ‘white beauty’ and promote a bronzed skin in India.” Other fans hailed her witty comeback, “she’s too funny, yaar!” One user called it a mic drop moment, “Mic drop situation by ACP”

Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday have officially wrapped up their film Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri and they celebrated the big milestone with a grand wrap party. The entire cast and crew came together at a buzzing city restaurant, and the night looked like one big celebration of everything they’d achieved over the last couple of months. Kartik and Ananya, who twinned in striking all-black outfits, instantly turned heads as soon as they walked in.
