“Because gel had done so well, but we knew people were like, ‘How do I get stronger, longer nails that are mine? How do I get nail extensions that I can build without a tip?'” Olive & June founder and CEO Sarah Gibson Tuttle tells Refinery29. “[Our community] loves press-ons, but they wanted gel almost to work harder for them.” Designed to work seamlessly with the brand’s existing Gel Mani System (which includes a proprietary lamp, base, and top coats), Builder Gel comes in 15 sheer, milky neutrals inspired by Olive & June fan favorites, and allows the user to achieve the plump, durable look and feel of salon builder gel, or craft gel extensions at home using patent-pending forms. “We want to give you the ability to either have instant extensions or grow your nails over time, and also with the color that you want,” explains Gibson Tuttle. As with salon builder gel, Olive & June’s formula is a thicker consistency (compared to its regular gel polish), which allows you to manipulate the shape and get extra rise and plumpness. (Don’t worry, the brand includes a liner brush in the kit.)

Inside the French Farmhouse-Meets-California Beach Shack Home of the Olive Ateliers Founders

There were many charming things about the house (front porch, wood-burning fireplace). There were also many not-so-charming things (veneer wood, spotty landscaping). So they got to work. They repainted the walls but didn’t mask all the old chips, which Kendall argues gives the house character: “People might’ve dinged their surfboard as they’re coming through,” she says, waving her hands. “We want it to feel like it’s in California.” They raised the ceiling, replaced the floors, and sourced furniture from anywhere and everywhere—from Indonesia to Greece, France to Facebook Marketplace. And slowly but surely, they made the home their own.
Ben and Kendall designed their own outdoor furniture. They found the cabinent, meanwhile, on Facebook marketplace.
Photo: Michael Clifford“In my mind, it’s part French maison, but then also a little beach shack,” Kendall says of her home as I sit at her weathered wood dining table. She’s made breakfast: yogurt and granola, cold brew coffee with oat milk, fresh strawberries and croissants from Gjelina. Everything goes right on the wood. Kendall, I soon learn, is very anti-coaster: “We don’t put coasters down because I want to be able to see who’s been here before. And the table wants to remember the people that it’s helped share conversations. So the more rings, the better,” she says.

Alia Bhatt stuns in olive green saree
Alia embraced her traditional side for the religious festivities, donning a stunning olive saree crafted from luxurious organza fabric. Her six-yard ensemble featured an all-over golden traditional print, complemented by sparkling silver borders, heavy sequin work, and intricate zari embroidery that added a glam touch. She draped the saree in a classic seedha pallu style, perfectly highlighting the elegance of the fabric.
To complete the look, she paired it with a contrasting white blouse, designed with a flattering sweetheart neckline, full sleeves, and delicate sequin-bordered detailing, creating a perfect balance of tradition and contemporary charm.
How she styled her look
She accessorised her look with silver kundan-studded kanchain earrings and a stack of red and golden bangles adorning her wrists. Her makeup was flawless, featuring kohled eyes with winged eyeliner, mascara-coated lashes, defined brows, blushed cheeks, a generous touch of highlighter, and a soft nude lipstick. Alia’s luscious tresses were styled in soft curls and left loose with a middle partition, perfectly completing her stunning ethnic ensemble.
On the work front
Alia was last seen in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, which hit theatres in 2024. She will next star in Alpha, alongside Sharvari, the latest instalment in the YRF Spyverse, which is set to release this Christmas. Fans can also look forward to seeing her in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.

Olivia Boyd-Smith of Par Olive Shares Her Collagen-Infused Wellness Ritual — Approved by Victoria Beckham

Beauty from within! Par Olive founder Olivia Boyd-Smith gave ET an inside look at her celeb-approved wellness rituals while celebrating the launch of her Marine Collagen Superpowders on FWRD.
The Australian entrepreneur set out to find a simple solution for glowing skin, strong nails, and glossy hair — and teamed up with a dermatologist to create her own.
“I wanted a collagen that was wild-caught and single origin (never farmed), blended with Vitamin C for absorption, and pearl powder for luminosity,” she explains.
From there, the creative director began to see the outcome she desired.
“When women see results they can actually see and feel, it becomes a mainstay in their beauty ritual,” Smith notes.
Among those loyal fans? Victoria Beckham and Martha Stewart. “It holds the same standards they demand from everything else in their routine,” she adds.
As for her own regimen, Smith gravitates toward practices that feel both indulgent and restorative.
Her morning must-have: “I always start my day with what I call my skin bowl, which includes sprouted granola, walnuts, goji berries, and two teaspoons of our Unflavoured Marine Collagen Superpowder.”
From there, Smith is off to enjoy her broader wellness lineup, filled with infrared sauna sessions, lymphatic drainage massages, LED light therapy, regular facials at Contrapposto in Los Angeles, California, and Pilates workouts.
Still, finding time for balance is just as important. “I try to lean away from following trends and more into taking moments to tune back into myself. … I’m a believer in relishing time with friends and loved ones. I love dinners out, a beautiful glass of wine, pizza, and gelato.”
