Happy New Music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists and the best that music has to offer — and ET has you covered for everything in between.

Following last week’s release of The Life of a Showgirl, which sold over 4 million albums in the U.S., Taylor Swift will be returning to Disney+ with two brand new projects — Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The End of an Era, a 6-episode behind the scenes docuseries event chronicling the development, impact and inner-workings that created The Eras Tour, and Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show, the full concert film featuring The Tortured Poets Department for the first time, streaming Disney 12 on Disney+. Taylor shared, “We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down. And to film the final show in its entirety.”

Charlie Puth has announced his fourth studio album, Whatever’s Clever! will be out on March 6, 2026. He released a new single, “Changes,” where he reflects on both personal and professional changes. His wife Brooke Sansone makes a sweet cameo in the music video and they reveal a baby is on the way as they both place their hands on her stomach. Last month, Charlie kicked off a series of sold-out underplay residencies at Blue Note New York and continued this week in Los Angeles where he debuted his new song “Changes.”

The Latin Academy has announced the first round of performers for the 26th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. Pepe Aguilar, Aitana, Ivan Cornejo, DannyLux, Gloria Estefan, Kakalo, Carin León, Liniker, Morat and Los Tigres del Norte, as well as the 2025 Person of the Year, Raphael, will all take the stage on November 13.

No Doubt have announced six additional dates for their highly anticipated No Doubt Live at Sphere residency due to incredible fan demand. The newly added shows are set for May 21, 23, 24, 27, 29, and 30. The residency marks their first extended run of performances in nearly 14 years, following their historic Seven Night Stand in Los Angeles in 2012.

LANY announced their 2026 Soft World Tour and will be taking their new album, Soft, on the road for fans across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, UK, and Europe for thirty eight dates. The tour will kick off January 23 in Dubai.

Nick Jonas and his nonprofit organization Beyond Type 1 launched a new campaign centered around debunking diabetes myths. The video, “Go Beyond,” features Nick, Billy Porter, Adonai “AD” Mitchell, and Sam Morrison, and challenges people to go beyond what they think they know about diabetes. Beyond Type 1 is a global nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of those impacted by diabetes.

The Brunch round-up for October 18: The week and how it made us feel

On shuffle. Another week, another special-edition Uno add-on deck. This one has been curated by Billie Eilish, with pretty colours and new rules. In Reveal Hands, everyone plays with their cards face up. Go on, look your bua in the eye as you annihilate her with your last Draw Four. Family reunions weren’t chaotic enough already, were they?

Billie Eilish’s new add-on deck makes Uno even more ruthless. Family nights are about to get unhinged. (INSTAGRAM/@BILLIEEILISH)

Looking for a paranoid android. An immersive exhibition of Douglas Adams’s Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy hits London soon. “This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move”. Fans fear that it will have the same bro energy as the film adaptation. Instead give us the book’s OG fever-dream weirdness. Give us Zaphod with his two heads and three arms. Resistance is useless.

Beta testing. Tradwives? So last season. The internet’s new toy is stay-at-home sons. They’re jobless, live with their parents and “pitch in” with domestic chores. Obv, they’re conservative. It’s a boy-mom’s dream come true. And a win for women – the red flag flies so high, no woman will swipe right.

In the Upside Down. Yeah yeah, dating is a minefield. News is, we’ve been doing it all wrong. To score a good match, you apparently have to feed the algorithm the opposite of your actual preferences. Hot for sporty peeps? Play up how attractive you find nerds. Into books? Tell the algo that you prefer AI summaries instead. Sigh. ATP, our mums and dads might as well pick partners for us.

Teaming up. Pick your fighter: Rosé x Bruno Mars, Jennie x Doechii, Lisa x Tyla, Jisoo x Zayn Malik. The Blackpink girls have been dropping banger collabs. Jisoo and Zayn’s Eyes Closed MV released this week, completing the square. Fans are going nuts, arguing about which collab is cooler (#iykyk). Chill. There are enough finger hearts for everyone.

Feeling gaslit. A clip of some dude, who looks suspiciously like Ron Weasley, shouting “Expensive Petroleum!” while filling up his tank at a gas station, is going viral. No, that’s not Rupert Grint making the best pun ever. It’s just a muggle with great comic timing. Even magic can’t save us from inflation.

Struggling to blink. You thought Brat summer was over? We’re raging into 2026, judging by the strobe-light-soaked trailer for Charli XCX’s new film The Moment. The film radiates 10,000 aura points (with Alexander Skarsgård, Kylie Jenner, Rachel Sennott, and what seems like every cool actor). It’s the final boss of ensembles. It’s giving “you can’t sit with us” energy, but bathed in neon green.

Still waiting. Finally, a robot that we actually need. The five-foot-six humanoid, Figure 03, promises to clean your house, fold your laundry, and do the dishes. So far though, it’s a little slow, drops things often, and freezes when it panics. Seems like a nepo hire. Honestly, we don’t need robots to replace us. We just need them to keep up.

onboard:earth Launches Green Travel Toolkit to Decarbonise Welsh Event Travel, CARDIFF, WALES — 16th October 2025

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

The environmental charity onboard:earth has launched its Green Travel Toolkit for Events in Wales at the Welsh Festivals Summit in Cardiff, aimed at helping event organisers to measure and reduce the carbon footprint associated with attendee and production travel.

The new special-edition guide and toolkit was funded by the Event Wales Sustainable Events Accelerator project. Chris Johnson, CEO of onboard:earth, shared the resources with delegates at the Summit, which was presented by the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF) and the British Arts Festivals Association (BAFA).

The Green Travel Toolkit is designed to help organisations measure and reduce travel impacts based on recent research and best-practice strategies. It provides two main guides: The Green Travel Guide for Welsh Events, and A Quick Guide to Collecting Quality Travel Data.

In addition to the guides, the toolkit includes practical resources, including; spreadsheets for accurately recording and understanding vehicle miles and emissions; off-the-shelf surveys to collect quality travel data from event stakeholders, policy templates to formalise commitments with stakeholders; and action plans ready to be deployed by event teams.

The main guide summarises key findings from Welsh and UK Government policy reports, detailing how upcoming changes may affect event organisers. This includes insights from the Welsh Government’s policy document, ‘Decarbonising Wales Transport System while connecting people and places’ (March 2024), alongside updates on Welsh Public Transport Infrastructure.

Onboard earth launch green travel toolkit for welsh events 2Onboard earth launch green travel toolkit for welsh events 2

New case studies in the guide showcase successful low-carbon initiatives implemented across a variety of Welsh events, spanning music festivals, mass participation sporting events, and venues. These examples include Hay Festival, Green Man Festival, Ourea Events, Live Nation’s Chepstow Summer Sessions, Run4Wales’ Cardiff Half Marathon, and The International Conference Centre Wales.

These successes demonstrate that tackling travel challenges is achievable and often requires partnership working. They illustrate how events are successfully collaborating directly with transport providers like Transport for Wales, First Bus, and Great Western Railway to make low-carbon travel more accessible for audiences.

Lucy Scrase, Project Manager at onboard:earth and Green Travel Toolkit lead, said:

“Thanks to funding from the Welsh Government’s Event Wales Sector Development Fund, and the policy insights and knowledge shared by our partners, we’ve been able to tailor our best-practice tools and advice on green travel and transport to support events in Wales. We hope this guide charts a clear, actionable path for the continual rise of low-carbon event travel across the country.”

Let October Tarotscopes Help You Process Eclipse Season

by jummy84 October 16, 2025
written by jummy84

This is not a season of rushing. It is a season of processing, polishing, and integrating. Think of October as a pause where we gather the fragments, sift through the rubble, and realize which pieces of gold were buried in the dust. It is in this month that the vision becomes clearer, sharper, and more honest. Utilize this month’s tarotscopes to help you gain further clarity over what has transpired, what is still being put into place, and what is still needed to be released.

As a fashion editor, I’ve become the go-to person in my friend group for shopping recommendations. Recently, one of my best friends told me that they’ve been looking for pieces to add to their cool-weather wardrobe options since fall is here and winter is right around the corner. On top of that, she also mentioned that she prefers Shopbop because there’s such a wide range of cross-category clothing, shoes, and accessories items to shop from. We all know it’s hard to beat a one-stop shop after all. With my friend in mind, I took to Shopbop’s virtual aisles and landed on a selection of gorgeous fall and winter-friendly finds to recommend to her.

If you’re also in the market for a little fall closet refresh, then the curation ahead is also for you. In the mix of styles below, you can expect on-trend fall clothing items, including but not limited to Cow-print flats, a striped shirt, gorgeous sweaters, the coolest accessories, and so much more.
