Cobra Kai’s Tanner Buchanan Talks Fitness Regimen With Strong Nation – Hollywood Life

Cobra Kai came to an end earlier this year, but Tanner Buchanan is holding the memories he made and his acquired martial arts skills close to his heart. In an exclusive interview with Hollywood Life, the 26-year-old actor shared that he keeps in shape through the high-intensity, boot camp-style group exercise course STRONG Nation.

“What I like about it is you can kind of do it anywhere,” Tanner said while explaining how the exercise program fits into his work schedule. “If you can’t make it to a class, I know that they have some classes online that you can always take. And funny enough, with my career, I travel so much, and, and I’m not able to get to the gym a lot, which is not a great thing for me, as I usually have to stay in shape quite a bit.”

Tanner is no stranger to fitness. On Cobra Kai, he played Robby Keene for all six seasons. He began with almost no martial arts experience — which he jokingly called “non-existent” — but ended up performing “95 percent” of his own stunts in the final season, he told Hollywood Life. Tanner also finished the show with lifelong friendships, calling Ralph Macchio and William Zabka the “adopted dads” of the younger cast members. And as fans know, Tanner is engaged to co-star Mary Mouser.

While recollecting his favorite emotional Cobra Kai scene, Tanner recalled Robby’s tearful season 6 locker room conversation with his dad, Johnny (played by William), as the character reflects how karate changed his life.

“I remember that last moment … I was crying and getting emotional just because I knew it was that one last scene [before the show ended],” Tanner recalled. “And I do remember a sweet moment from Billy when he hugged me in the scene. And then, when they called ‘Cut,’ he kind of gave me like a little kiss on the forehead, and he was like, ‘First off, that was amazing. Second off, this has been such an amazing experience to be able to share with you.’ So, then I had to pull it back together, and I was like, ‘No, no, no, I can’t cry anymore.’”

An actor’s lifestyle comes with a hectic itinerary, so Tanner chose STRONG Nation to help him stay fit. The course provides students with a combination of body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training synced to original music reverse engineered to match every move, which Tanner noted “keeps your mind off actually working out.”

The intense course promises a calorie-burning experience along with toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. STRONG Nation differs from other exercise courses through its relationship of moving in sync to the music, which includes fast-paced rhythms such as EDM, techno, house, drum, dubstep hip-hop and fusion genres. As a result, students stay focused on their moves rather than tediously counting each rep. While moves like burpees, squats and lunges can seem daunting, STRONG Nation partnered with some of the most famous music producers, including Timbaland, Krewella and Steve Aoki, to make sure students can enjoy their workout while working up a sweat.

Since the STRONG Nation program works with Tanner’s schedule, he can focus on upcoming projects, such as his role in the upcoming supernatural horror Hide and Don’t Speak. The film follows six teens that “play a terrifying viral Japanese game in which the players summon a vengeful spirit for a deadly round of hide-and-seek,” according to its synopsis.

“It’s definitely a horror that I was surprised no one had even done yet,” Tanner teased, adding that the film will “get your heart pumping, that’s for sure.”

Video of “Seven Nation Army” Street Performance in Iran Goes Viral

Footage of a street performance of The White Stripes’ 2003 classic “Seven Nation Army” in Tehran, Iran, has gone viral — even catching the attention of Jack White himself.

In the clip, uploaded to Instagram by journalist Afshin Ismaeli, a group of men and women (mostly not wearing hijabs) can be seen gathering on the sidewalk and dancing to the performance. Watch it below.

After the video went viral, it was reposted to Jack White and The White Stripes’ official Instagram accounts with the simple caption, “‘Seven Nation Army’ performed in the streets of Tehran.” In the comments, an Iranian singer named Arshia claimed that his band was behind the performance.

Since the 2022-2023 protests over the death of Mahsa Amini in police custody for allegedly violating Iran’s mandatory hijab law, the government under the current president, Masoud Pezeshkian, has voiced intentions to ease strict enforcement.

Specifically, Pezeshkian himself has said the morality police “were not supposed to confront” women. In March 2025, however, the UN Human Rights Council reported that Iran “continues to ramp up efforts to restrict the rights of women and girls,” despite such public assurances.

Against that backdrop and amid the recent Iran-Israel war, the viral moment serves as a welcome glimpse of joy and freedom through the power of music.

Anniversary (2025): A Family Thriller Set Against A Nation On Edge | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Lionsgate’s Anniversary, directed by Jan Komasa, is a thriller that blends the intimate fractures of a family with the unsettling turbulence of a nation in crisis. Releasing on October 29, 2025, the film focuses on Ellen and Paul Taylor, played by Diane Lane and Kyle Chandler, a couple whose world begins to unravel when their past collides with their present. The disruption arrives in the form of Liz, Ellen’s former student, portrayed by Phoebe Dynevor, who unexpectedly becomes romantically involved with the Taylors’ son, played by Dylan O’Brien.

What should be a familiar family dynamic quickly spirals into conflict as Liz brings with her deep ties to a controversial new movement sweeping across the country, ominously referred to as “The Change.”

The brilliance of Anniversary lies in the way it takes something as relatable as family loyalty and tests it against forces much larger than any single household.

The cast amplifies this layered story with weight and urgency. Diane Lane and Kyle Chandler ground the film with their portrayal of parents watching the life they built slip away, while Phoebe Dynevor’s Liz complicates everything with both charisma and menace.

Dylan O’Brien adds vulnerability to the mix, caught between his parents’ world and Liz’s influence. Supporting performances by Madeline Brewer, Zoey Deutch, Mckenna Grace, and Daryl McCormack further widen the scope of the drama.

As Liz integrates herself into the Taylor family, unresolved tensions bubble to the surface, exposing cracks in trust and loyalty.

With Ellen torn between her maternal instincts and her history with Liz, and Paul struggling to hold on to stability as his home life begins to mirror the chaos outside, the family’s fate becomes inseparable from the greater uncertainty gripping the nation.

With Nick Wechsler, Steve Schwartz, Paula Mae Schwartz, and Kate Churchill producing, and Komasa’s reputation for crafting tense, socially conscious films, Anniversary is positioned to be more than just another thriller.

It’s a reflection of the fragility of trust in a world that feels increasingly unstable. By weaving political and cultural unrest into an intimate family drama, the film resonates with today’s anxieties while delivering a story that feels urgent, emotional, and uncomfortably real.

Music Nation Launches in UAE to Collect Royalties with BMI Partnership

Music Nation Launches in UAE to Collect Royalties with BMI Partnership

by jummy84 October 24, 2025
written by jummy84

For years, the Middle East has been regarded as the next hot music market – for talent, streaming and even the live business. But few countries there have modern collective management organizations that can take in and pay out royalties for performing rights or mechanical rights on the publishing side, or neighboring rights when recordings are used on radio or television or in bars or restaurants. On Oct. 23, the start-up Music Nation, which has a partnership with BMI, will begin collecting for those rights in the United Arab Emirates, which includes Dubai and Abu Dhabi – and it will not be the only player in the market.

Related

The UAE’s 2021 update of copyright law established public performance and neighboring rights in the country. Since then, the UAE has given permits to two collection organizations: Music Nation and the Emirates Music Rights Association (EMRA), which has the backing of some foreign societies, including SACEM, and plans to operate as a nonprofit. (A third company has been collecting royalties for several years.) Music Nation, which is technically a Rights Management Entity (RME), is a private company. It has a partnership with BMI, which gives it access to important U.S. repertoire, and it has a deal with SoundExchange to provide neighboring rights administration, so it can license both publishing and neighboring rights for the use of recordings.

“With Music Nation’s technology and a leadership team that understands both the UAE’s cultural fabric and global music operations, we’re delivering a simple, transparent and modern licensing solution that easily licenses businesses and quickly pays creators,” said Music Nation founder and chairwoman Rasha Khalifa Al Mubarak.

The executive team includes CEO Amer M. Samhoun, COO James K. Petrie and chief creative officer Ali Dee.

Rasha Khalifa Al Mubarak

The launch of Music Nation is the first international partnership of its kind for BMI, after that organization shifted to operating as a for-profit company backed by private equity.

It also represents the opening of a potentially important new market, since the UAE has said it is making the music business and the creative industries an economic priority, and Saudi Arabia is moving in the same direction. The markets are different, however. Foreigners make up about 88% of the population in the UAE, with significant numbers coming from elsewhere in the Middle East, the U.S. and Europe, India and the Philippines. Anglo-American songs and recordings are said to be popular, which means that the country could generate significant royalties for ASCAP, BMI and the UK CMO PRS for Music.

There will be competition, however. As a nonprofit in the traditional European model, EMRA has been championed by SACEM. Since 2020, the UAE has also had another RME, ESMAA, a subsidiary of PopArabia, which is majority-owned by Reservoir Media and run by Hussain Yoosuf, who goes by the nickname “Spek.” Although ESMAA does not have a permit to operate as a collective management organization under the UAE copyright law, it has an Abu Dhabi business license for rights management that allows it to collect and distribute royalties. Right now, it also has more reciprocal agreements in place than its competitors, including with PRS, GEMA (the German CMO) and STIM (Sweden).

Both Music Nation and EMRA will presumably pursue deals with those entities, as well as others, and the market could get very competitive.

Elizabeth Taylor Docuseries From Kim Kardashian Set at Fox Nation

by jummy84 October 3, 2025
written by jummy84

A docuseries about actor Elizabeth Taylor, produced by Kim Kardashian, has been acquired by Fox News’ streaming service, Fox Nation.

Titled “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar,” the three-part docuseries — produced by Kardashian with Passion Pictures and distributed internationally by Fremantle — will make its U.S. debut on Fox Nation on Oct. 6.

Per Fox Nation, “‘Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar’ delivers an intimate look inside the life of one of the most iconic women of the twentieth century, peeling back the glamour to uncover the force of nature behind the fame. Each episode explores how Taylor shattered Hollywood’s glass ceiling, built a billion-dollar business empire, and transformed celebrity activism through her pioneering work in the fight against HIV/AIDS.”

The project includes the first-ever filmed interview with Taylor’s son, Chris Wilding, as well as interviews with Joan Collins, Sharon Stone, Paris Jackson and Kardashian, who conducted Taylor’s final interview before her death in March 2011.

Here are the official synopses for the docuseries’ three episodes:

Episode 1:

The series kicks off following Taylor’s meteoric ascent during Hollywood’s Golden Age. Through unheard recordings and new perspectives, Kardashian and those closest to her share rare archival material and first-hand accounts.

Episode 2:

Taylor’s turbulent private life collides with her public persona, culminating in the scandal of the century. From grief over the loss of her husband to her affair with Eddie Fisher, the episode explores how Taylor became both vilified and adored.

Episode 3:

From her seventh marriage to Senator John Warner to her groundbreaking activism in the fight against HIV/AIDS, Taylor redefined what it meant to be a star with purpose, even as she battled personal demons and public scrutiny.

Taylor’s pop-culture relevance has persisted long after her passing at the age of 79: News of Kardashian’s docuseries being acquired at Fox Nation comes on the same day Taylor Swift released her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” which features a track titled “Elizabeth Taylor.”

Watch the trailer for the Taylor docuseries “Elizabeth Taylor: Rebel Superstar” in the video below.

Live Nation Stock Falls on FTC Lawsuit, Sphere Enjoys 5th ‘Oz’ Bump

by jummy84 September 20, 2025
written by jummy84

As U.S. stocks soared following a U.S. Federal Reserve interest rate cut, Live Nation shares fell in the wake of a lawsuit from the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) over what the agency called “years of systemic unfair and deceptive practices.” The high-flying stock dropped 5.8% to $163.72, lowering its year-to-date gain to 65.7%.

Live Nation’s stock dropped 2.5% after Bloomberg reported Monday (Sept. 15) that the FTC was investigating the company. Following news of the lawsuit, the company’s share price fell 2.8% on Thursday (Sept. 18) and dropped another 0.6% on Friday (Sept. 19). Separately, Rothschild & Co. Redburn downgraded Live Nation to a “neutral” rating and increased its price target to $170 from $144. Redburn analysts expect margin expansion to slow from 2026.

A dip of such a magnitude isn’t rare for Live Nation, and the stock has proven to be resilient. In 2019, Live Nation fell 7.3% after news broke that the U.S. Department of Justice’s antitrust division was scrutinizing the company, but the share price recovered in just four days. In 2021, the company’s shares fell more than 22% in the weeks after 10 people died as a result of a crowd crush at the Astroworld festival in Houston, but the stock recaptured nearly all of that loss within three months and now trades 28% above pre-Astroworld levels.

Music stocks rode the market’s upswing as the 19-company Billboard Global Music Index (BGMI) gained 1.3% to 3,101.37, ending the week just off its all-time high of 3,117.20 set during the week ended June 30, 2025. Winners and losers were equally matched at nine apiece, and one company, Deezer, was unchanged.

U.S indexes finished the week at record highs following the Federal Reserve’s decision on Wednesday (Sept. 17) to cut the federal funds rate, the benchmark for short-term interest rates, by a quarter of a percentage point. The Nasdaq climbed 2.2% to a record 22,631.48, while the S&P 500 rose 1.2% to 6,664.36, also a record close. In the U.K., the FTSE 100 dropped 0.7% to 9,216.67. South Korea’s KOSPI composite index rose 1.5% to 3,445.24. China’s Shanghai Composite Index sank 1.3% to 3,820.09.

Sphere Entertainment Co. posted its fifth successive weekly gain, rising 2.4% to $59.71 and giving the company a 41.4% gain in 2025. Investors have reacted positively to the success of Sphere’s AI-assisted revamped The Wizard of Oz. As of Monday, Sphere had sold more than 500,000 tickets for The Wizard of Oz, generating over $65 million in sales.

Sphere lights up with an advertisement for "The Wizard of Oz at Sphere" ahead of the show's premiere on August 28, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Music’s greatest gainer of the week was iHeartMedia, which jumped 17.0% to $3.03 despite no major announcement or news report regarding the company. iHeartMedia shares have jumped 89.4% in the last six weeks and are up 81.4% year to date.

In the K-pop world, SM Entertainment was up 6.8% this week, bringing its year-to-date gain to 110.7%. JYP Entertainment increased 1.6% while HYBE fell 0.9% after its chairman, Bang Si-hyuk, was questioned by South Korean authorities over allegations that he deceived early HYBE investors into selling their stakes ahead of the company’s IPO. Bang has denied that he provided false information to the investors.

Spotify, the BGMI’s single largest component with a market capitalization of $150.4 billion, rose 5.5% to $734.92. That brought the stock back to the level reached on Aug. 15 before the price stumbled in three of the next four weeks. The stock went as high as $745.00 on Thursday, bringing Spotify within 5.1% of its all-time high of $785.00 set on June 27.

Universal Music Group and CTS Eventim both fell 4.4%. Chinese music streamer Netease Cloud Music sank 6.7%. U.S. music streamer LiveOne was the week’s biggest loser, falling 10.5% to $0.51.

CBS News Implements New Interview Policy For ‘Face The Nation’

by jummy84 September 5, 2025
written by jummy84

CBS News said that Face the Nation will only broadcast live or live-to-tape interviews following Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem‘s complaints over edits made to her appearance on the show on Sunday.

A CBS News spokesperson said, “In response to audience feedback over the past week, we have implemented a new policy for greater transparency in our interviews. Face the Nation will now only broadcast live or live-to-tape interviews (subject to national security or legal restrictions). This extra measure means the television audience will see the full, unedited interview on CBS and we will continue our practice of posting full transcripts and the unedited video online.”

Face the Nation has published full transcripts and unedited interviews online, but Noem complained that the broadcast “shamefully edited” an interview in which she made allegations about Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the undocumented immigrant who has been at the center of much coverage about the Trump administration’s deportation efforts. She alleged that CBS News “shamefully edited the interview to whitewash the truth about this MS-13 gang member and the threat he poses to American public safety.”

More to come.

by jummy84 August 26, 2025
written by jummy84

Salman Khan is one of he best known Bollywood actors globally and it’s all thanks to both his on-screen and off-screen works. The actor – lovingly known as the Bhaijaan of Bollywood, entered the Hindi entertainment industry 37 years ago by starring in JK Bihari’s Biwi Ho To Aisi. While Rekha, Farooq Sheikh and Bindu played the leads in this rom-com, Khan essayed the role of Farooq’s character’s younger brother, Vikram.

As Khan completes 37 years in Bollywood, we take a look at one aspect of the actor’s life that has earned him millions of fans across all ages – his crazy dance moves. Khan is known for entertaining his fans with dances moves that take the nation by storm and become viral in no time. From performing Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din with a towel to making his belt the star of the show in Hudd Hudd Dabangg and doing a hip thrust in Sultan’s Jag Ghoomeya, check out the most viral dance moves of Sallu Bhaijaan.

7 Times Salman Khan Became A Global Sensation With His Simple But Catchy Dance Moves

Jeene Ke Hai Chaar Din – Mujhse Shaadi Karogi

When asked to perform a dance move made immortal by Salman Khan, 99.99% people are sure to hit he dance floor and perform he hook step from Jeene Ke Hain Chaar Din with an imaginary towel. Be it a wedding, an office party or even a club, no Bhaijaan fan will let this song play and skip doing the step.

Hudd Hudd Dabangg – Dabangg

One of the easiest Salman Khan dance to ever perform is that from Dabangg. To ace the step, all you need is a belt around your waist, your hands on either side of the buckle and to move it in a simple up-down motion. To make it iconic like Bhaijaan, all you need is some swag.

Jag Ghoomeya – Sultan

Maybe not so easy, but undoubtedly one of the most iconic of Salman is this step from Sultaan’s Jag Ghoomeya. All you need to do to become a star while performing this song is sit on the floor, take a spin and then thrust your hips – and not in a sensual manner. This song – when released, saw hundreds of people imitate the step irrespective of the floor being dirty.

Oh Oh Jane Jaana – Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya

One of the very first Salman Khan dance moves to go viral was that of him swingling his arms bare body and with an undeniable charm in Oh Oh Jane Jaana from Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. Even today if the song begins to play, not only millennials, but even Gen Z people will get on the dance floor and do it without any prompts.

Dhinka Chika – Ready

Want a dance step that’s easier than Hudd Hudd Dabangg? Well, this step from Ready comes to your rescue. A step a anyone can perform – yes even a 90 year old, all you need to do is put your hands in your pocket (or where the pockets would generally be if you wore pants) and move then up and down. Sweet, simple and iconic.

Jalwa – Wanted

Salman Khan is tough competition for Ajay Devgn when it comes to dancing with moves that require the least amount of efforts. While the entire song oozes with immense energy, the hook step requires the least practice or investment. All you need is a shirt with a collar and your hands holding both edges and moving it to the beats of song.

Multiple Films

In multiple songs, Salman Khan is seen performing dance moves like no other. Be it Party All Night from Kick or his cameo at the end of Munni Badnam Hui from Dabangg, Bhaijaan steals the show every time he’s required to just be himself and dance. PS: You can see millions perform variations of this move irrespective of the venue being a wedding, a club or a road side procession.

About Salman Khan

Khan made his Bollywood debut in 1988 with a brief role in Biwi Ho To Aisi followed by a breakthrough the following year in Sooraj Barjatya’s Maine Pyar Kiya. Since then, he starred in several big-budget, much-loved and blockbuster films. He has played the lead in films such as Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!, Karan Arjun, Andaz Apna Apna, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Judwaa, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Dabangg franchise, Tiger franchise, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and more.

Live Nation Stock Hits Record, Sphere Entertainment Posts Big Gain

by jummy84 August 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Gains by some live entertainment stocks and solid performances by multi-sector companies were overshadowed this week by German concert promoter CTS Eventim’s double-digit decline and a more modest single-digit drop from Spotify.

CTS Eventim shares fell 16.6% to 81.20 euros ($95.18) this week following Thursday’s mid-year results that showed a sharp decrease in adjusted EBITDA despite the concert promoter achieving record revenue. Numerous analysts reacted by decreasing their price targets. The most drastic revision came from Oddo BHF, which reduced its price target to 86 euros ($100.81) from 117 euros ($137.15) and downgraded its rating to “neutral” from “outperform.”

Related

In addition, Bernstein lowered its CTS Eventim price target to 100 euros ($117.22) from 104 euros ($121.91) and maintained its “outperform” rating. Deutsche Bank dropped its price target to 109 euros ($127.77) from 117 euros ($137.15) but kept its “buy” rating. MWB Research lowered its price target to 100 euros ($117.22) from 105 euros ($123.08) and upgraded its rating to “buy” from “hold.”

The Billboard Global Music Index (BGMI) dropped 2.6% to 3,023.51, breaking a two-week winning streak and lowering the index’s year-to-date gain to 42.3%. Winners outnumbered losers 10 to 8, and one company, Deezer, was unchanged.

Major indexes were mixed this week. In the U.S., the Nasdaq fell 0.6% and the S&P 500 gained 0.3%. The U.K.’s FTSE 100 improved 2.0%. South Korea’s KOSPI composite index dropped 1.8%. China’s Shanghai Composite Index rose 3.5%.

Other than CTS Eventim, live entertainment companies posted solid gains. Live Nation reached a new record of $166.54 on Friday and closed at $165.72, up 3.0%. Earlier in the week, MoffettNathanson initiated coverage of Live Nation with a $195 price target and Wolfe Research increased its price target to $177 from $173.

The two Dolan family-controlled live entertainment companies bounced back from an off week. MSG Entertainment was the week’s biggest gainer, rising 6.8% to $39.33. Sphere Entertainment Co. rose 6.5% to $42.46. A week earlier, MSGE shares fell 3.1% after the company’s earnings announcement revealed a 74% decline in fiscal year net profit and Sphere Entertainment shares fell 1.0% following second quarter earnings.

Music streaming companies produced more losers than winners. Spotify fell 5.4% to $692.99, lowering its gain in 2025 to 48.5%. LiveOne slipped 6.3% to $0.60. Tencent Music Entertainment dropped 0.8% to $25.35, although it’s still up 127.4% this year. Netease Cloud Music gained 2.5% to 287.00 HKD ($36.73), bringing its year-to-date gain to 155.8%.

Multi-sector companies’ stocks performed well, with Reservoir Media (up 5.1%), Warner Music Group (up 3.8%), HYBE (up 0.7%) and Universal Music Group (up 0.6%) posting gains. SM Entertainment and JYP Entertainment fell 2.8% and 2.9%, respectively
