Isabelle Tate was just 23 when she died. Best known for appearing in the series premiere of ABC’s 9-1-1: Nashville, the young actress’ life, career and health history quickly made headlines when news of her death broke in October 2025. Isabelle may have had a brief role on the show, but her neuromuscular and Charcot-Marie-Tooth diagnoses inspired many to learn more about the illnesses.

“She was also an aspiring actress, and was most recently even featured in a TV show,” Isabelle’s obituary read. “Isabelle loved volunteering her time to all things, particularly animals — her idea of a fun outing was visiting an animal shelter and doling out lots of love. Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others. She was also quite musically inclined, often spending hours writing and recording songs with friends and even publishing a few.”

Below, find out which character Isabelle played in 9-1-1: Nashville.

Who Did Isabelle Tate Play in 9-1-1: Nashville?

Isabelle played a bachelorette party attendee in the series premiere of 9-1-1: Nashville. Her character receives a dance from stripped-turned-firefighter Blue (played by Hunter McVey).

What Is Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease? Isabelle Tate’s Illness

Isabelle’s talent agency, The McCray Agency, revealed in an October 2025 Instagram Story that she died of “a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.” The agency further noted that she died “peacefully,” but her death was still “sudden” and “shocking” for all.

According to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA), the disease is “a rare multi-system, multi-organ disease that causes life-long, progressive symptoms, including muscle weakness and atrophy in the arms and legs, sensory loss, and other complications. These symptoms often lead to challenges with balance, walking, hand use, and other daily activities.”

Isabelle was battling an illness known as neuromuscular disease. However, her official cause of death was revealed by her talent agency, The McCray Agency, as “a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.” The agency noted in an Instagram Story that Isabelle died “peacefully,” but her death was “sudden” and “shocking” for all close to her.

What Is Neuromuscular Disease?

Neuromuscular disorders are a range of conditions that involve the dysfunction of one’s “peripheral nerves, muscles or the communication between them,” according to the Cleveland Clinic. The illness causes muscle weakness, muscle atrophy and numbness and/or tingling in the body.

Isabelle was diagnosed with neuromuscular disease when she was 13, as seen in a December 2022 Instagram post from her unverified account.

“This has been a difficult journey for me because having to accept help and surrender to the progression of this condition has been extremely hard,” Isabelle wrote at the time. “While I was trying to come to terms with this, I really did find that I lost myself in certain ways. I hated that it was not only breaking me down physically, but I was allowing it to also break down my spirit.”

Isabelle “Izzy” Tate, who appeared in the pilot episode of 9-1-1: Nashville, has died. She was 23.

She died peacefully Sunday after facing a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth, a neuromuscular disease, the McCray Agency, which represented the Nashville native, told The Hollywood Reporter.

This week, Kim McCray, owner of the talent agency, said on social media: “We are deeply saddened and completely heartbroken to share that Isabelle Tate passed away … I’ve known Izzy since she was a teenager and she recently returned to acting. She booked the first series she auditioned for, 9-1-1: Nashville. She had a wonderful time.”

The post included Tate’s family calling the actress “full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others. She was also quite musically inclined, often spending hours writing and recording songs with friends and even publishing a few. What she loved the most though was spending time with family and friends, always the life of the party.”

After acting and modeling as a child, Tate graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a business degree. Her return to acting with 9-1-1: Nashville was her first booking for an adult role. The pilot episode was shot in June and debuted Oct. 6.

ABC’s 911: Nashville, starring Jessica Capshaw and Chris O’Donnell, is produced by ABC and 20th Television. The series marks the third show in the first-responder franchise from Ryan Murphy Television.

Tate is survived by her mother, Katerina Tate, stepfather Vishnu Jayamohan, father John Daniel Tate and her sister, Daniella. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Tate’s memory be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, which has information on the disease.

Apple Martin Made Her Singing Debut at a Nashville Bar

by jummy84 October 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Apple Martin has opened up before about her love of singing, telling Interview that she’s involved in an on-campus cabaret group and adding, “I have a very low voice so whenever we’re doing harmonies it’ll be like, Alright, it’s the boys and Apple.” In the same conversation, she reflected on her choice to pursue a career in the public eye…or not. “It’s interesting because I grew up with that uneven balance of getting out of the airport with my mom and being bombarded with cameras, and then just being a normal kid,” she recalled, adding, “I don’t think we need another celebrity child in the world.”

These days, though, she says, “I just try to do what feels right and block out anything regarding me in the news to the best of my ability. And I’m getting a lot better at being like, Fuck it. I’m not going to be scared. I just want to do what seems fun and figure my life out.” A song with friends seems like just the right start.

Ex-NFL Star Jay Graham Arrested In Nashville Sting After Allegedly Trying To Pay 16-Year-Old For S*x – Fired From Coaching Job

Former NFL running back and Tennessee high school coach Herman “Jay” Graham III was arrested after allegedly attempting to solicit an underage girl. Police records reviewed by Us Weekly show the 50-year-old was booked on prostitution and patronizing charges involving a minor between 15 and 18 on Wednesday, October 15.

Authorities say Graham was one of three men caught during a police sting operation in Nashville. According to WSMV, undercover officers posted ads on adult websites, and Graham allegedly responded, arranging to meet someone he believed to be a 16-year-old girl for $120 at a local hotel. He was arrested after reportedly handing over the payment.

Graham, who had no prior criminal record, was hired at Centennial High School in Franklin, Tennessee, in July 2025 as a substitute teacher and coach before becoming a full-time employee. Following his arrest, Principal Dr. Clarissa Haymon notified parents, writing, “Our head football coach Jay Graham was arrested today during a sting operation in Nashville on two felony charges of patronizing prostitution and solicitation of a minor to commit statutory r@pe.”

Haymon confirmed Graham was fired from the coaching staff and suspended without pay from his teaching role, adding, “He will not be allowed on our campus.” She also told families that law enforcement found no threat to students and that counselors would be available for support.

Before coaching, Graham played for the Baltimore Ravens, Seattle Seahawks, and Green Bay Packers, retiring in 2002 before joining the Canadian Football League. He later coached at several Tennessee programs, including UT Chattanooga, UT Martin, South Carolina, Florida State, and the University of Tennessee. Post Malone, Lainey Wilson Perform ‘Nosedive’ at Nashville Bar Opening

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

At the grand opening of his bar Posty’s in Downtown Nashville, Post Malone imposed a rule that he would not perform any of his own songs — not “Sunflower,” definitely not “Rockstar,” and not even “I Had Some Help.” But he made an exception for a special guest. Lainey Wilson joined the singer for a performance of their F-1 Trillion duet “Nosedive.”

“I know there’s a thing about no originals, but if I could play an original tonight, I swear she’s going to make it worth it,” Malone told the crowd. “Ladies and gentlemen, would you please welcome to the stage Miss Lainey motherfucking Wilson.”

Malone had already been celebrating for a while before Wilson stepped up on stage, so he couldn’t promise he’d know all the words. “I’m going to fuck it up,” he said, “but you’re going to fucking crush it. Make some fucking noise!”

He managed pretty well with the other songs in his set, which included covers of Vince Gill’s “What the Cowgirls Do,” Hank Williams Jr.’s “Outlaw Women,” Brad Paisley’s “Ticks,” Toby Keith’s ‘How Do You Like Me Now,” and Zach Top’s “I Never Lie.”

Brooks & Dunn also made a special appearance to join Malone for performances of “Neon Moon” and “Brand New Man.” Dierks Bentley joined to perform “What Was I Thinkin’” as well.

Posty’s launched a soft opening in July with access to its first floor. The official grand opening unveiled its two other floors, which host a full-service restaurant, karaoke, a live music stage, and a gift shop. There’s also a bar on the rooftop.

After Malone wrapped his set, he covered the tab for the entire bar until 2 a.m. “Drinks are on me tonight for the whole entire night, food is on me tonight, whatever you want in the entire world,” he told the crowd at the gathering.

ABC

9-1-1

The long-running first-responder drama opens its ninth season with a tribute to the 118’s fallen leader, Bobby Nash (Peter Krause), as the crew prepares to dedicate the firehouse in his memory. But duty never stops calling, and they snap back into action for an emergency involving a billionaire tech giant in critical peril.

Golden Bachelor

The Golden Bachelor

The second season of The Golden Bachelor is available Wednesdays on ABC and streaming next day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. It’s the senior spin on the beloved dating reality show, with 66-year-old former NFL linebacker and lawyer Mel Owens searching for his later-in-life lover. This season is hosted by Jesse Palmer, a former Bachelor and NFL player himself. Fingers crossed he can help Owens find love.

Chris O'Donnell as Don — '9-1-1: Nashville' Series Premiere

Disney/Jake Giles Netter

9-1-1: Nashville

It’s a sign of the times, and the state of broadcast TV, that ABC’s only new scripted series this fall is that most reliable of standbys: a spinoff. Chris O’Donnell, who starred in one of TV’s most successful spinoffs (NCIS: LA), leads the ensemble as Captain Don Hart of Fire Station 113. In the premiere, he and his crew respond to a franchise favorite — a weather emergency — when a tornado rips through Music City, threatening a country-music festival. Jessica Capshaw (Grey’s Anatomy) co-stars as Don’s wife Blythe, whose well-heeled family brings a Dynasty vibe to Don’s working-class world when a scandalous family secret is revealed.

Grey’s Anatomy

Another year, another cliffhanger to resolve. Which is how Grey’s Anatomy kicks off its 22nd season, TV’s longest-running prime-time medical drama. The opener is in full crisis mode, and it’s all hands on deck as Grey Sloan’s staff scrambles in the wake of an explosion on the surgical floor. Link (Chris Carmack) appeared to be the doctor most immediately in danger, but we’ll know soon enough who gets to operate another day.

Miles Heizer as Cameron Cope and Liam Oh as Ray McAffey in 'Boots' Season 1 Episode 4

Netflix

Boots

“This is not like summer camp,” laments Cameron Cope (Parenthood‘s Miles Heizer), a closeted gay man who follows his best friend Ray (Liam Oh) into the Marines in 1990, when homosexuality was strictly forbidden (even predating “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”). Cameron also soon realizes that the “buddy system” isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be in a system designed to break down recruits and shape them into soldiers. This eight-part dramedy, based on Greg Cope White’s memoir The Pink Marine, has moments of whimsy — especially when Cameron’s anxiety-ridden inner self speaks out — but is also unexpectedly compelling in its coming-of-age story as Cameron makes unexpected alliances in his quest to discover what it is to be a man. “I’m such a Rose,” this Golden Girls fan sighs — which is probably something he should keep to himself for the time being.

Victoria Beckham in Netflix's 'Victoria Beckham' docuseries, 2025.

Netflix/YouTube

Victoria Beckham

The road from musical stardom as Posh Spice to celebrated footballer’s wife to being accepted as a fashion designer hasn’t always been easy, says Victoria Beckham in a three-part documentary profile. “I have never forgotten where I come from,” she says, revealing her insecurities and desires as she prepares for “the biggest fashion show I have ever done.”

Saquon

With Martin Scorsese as executive producer, an intimate documentary spotlights Saquon Barkley, the Super Bowl champion running back for the Philadelphia Eagles. The film covers his career highs and lows (injuries) while also following him off the field as a devoted husband and dad. “It’s not who you are when you get knocked down,” says the resilient superstar athlete. “It’s who you are when you stand back up. That’s why I play the game.”

bitchy | Taylor Swift partied with Brittany Mahomes in Nashville for Brittany’s 30th b-day

by jummy84 September 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Y’all, wait?? Brittany Mahomes is only 30 years old? Why did I think she was in her late 30s? Brittany celebrated her 30th birthday this week, meaning she’s a Virgo. Brittany had a girl-squad b-day party in Nashville, and she invited Taylor Swift. Taylor came for the party, or one of the parties. It doesn’t look like Taylor stuck around for very long though – just a brief appearance, drop off a gift, take a couple of photos and have a glass of wine, then Tay got out of there.

Last year, there was a larger conversation about Taylor’s politics and Brittany’s politics and all of that. Like, Taylor was blamed for normalizing or accepting Brittany’s MAGA lunacy. I felt a bit sorry for Taylor, because to me, it looks like she’s being nice to the wife of her fiance’s closest work colleague. Of course, I also think Taylor doesn’t mind hanging out with Brittany, but make no mistake, they’ve barely seen each other in months and their friendship seems scheduled around football season.

One nice thing I’ll say about Brittany is that it seems like she has a core group of girlfriends and it also looks like she “treated” them to her lavish, multi-day birthday celebrations. It’s interesting to see Taylor as the “third wheel” in someone else’s clique. That’s probably why Taylor skedaddled pretty quickly.
