While she didn’t fully rule out the possibility of eventually moving on, she made it clear that—for now—she’s focused on her current role.
“I’m here now and intend to keep doing my job,” King said.
CBS News also weighed in on the rumors, shutting down claims that she’s planning an imminent exit.
“There have been no discussions with Gayle about her contract that runs through May 2026,” a CBS spokesperson told TMZ. “She’s a truly valued part of CBS and we look forward to engaging with her about the future.”
