Arjun Kapoor Posts Sun-Drenched Tribute To Ex Malaika Arora On Her Birthday Months After Their Public Split

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Actor Arjun Kapoor turned heads this week when he extended a heartfelt birthday wish to his former partner, Malaika Arora, despite the two having parted ways earlier this year. On the occasion of Malaika’s 52nd birthday, Arjun took to Instagram Stories and shared a radiant photograph of Malaika in Paris—bathed in soft light, seated on a balcony with the Eiffel Tower looming softly in the distance. The message accompanying the image read simply yet poignantly: “Happy Birthday @malaikaaroraofficial. Keep soaring, keep smiling and always keep seeking…”

In response, Malaika re-shared Arjun’s post to her own Instagram Story with a single red-heart emoji and the word “Thank you,” indicating that the message was received warmly and acknowledging the sentiment.

The exchange arrives months after the two publicly confirmed their split during promotional events for Arjun’s film Singham Again. Though both individuals quietly affirmed they were no longer together, the decision to share a birthday wish underscores a notable shift in the narrative—from romantic partners to respectful former companions.

Malaika and Arjun’s relationship had spanned several years, with their pairing first becoming public in 2018. While they rarely discussed their bond openly, posts of vacations and shared moments had offered fans glimpses into their life together. Despite their breakup, the highlight of the birthday message is the tone: classy, amicable and free of drama.

In sharing the Paris photo, Arjun let the image speak almost as loud as his words. The setting—a quiet terrace overlooking one of the world’s most iconic landmarks—paired with Malaika’s serene pose, conveyed admiration without showboating. For his birthday message to include “keep soaring… keep smiling…” is a subtle yet powerful acknowledgement of her continued journey, independently defined.

Beyond the social-media moment, the backdrop adds further nuance. Arjun had publicly spoken about his relationship with Malaika, acknowledging the emotional weight of their time together—particularly noting that she had a life and a son when their relationship began. The birthday tribute now signals a level of emotional maturity in how both individuals are navigating change—moving from attachment to respect.

Among fans and observers, reactions have been largely positive. Many took note that such gestures between high-profile ex-partners are still rare in the industry. Comments on the Instagram post ranged from appreciation for the refined tone (“True friendship wins”) to nostalgia for a time when public breakups were quieter. The dynamic between Arjun and Malaika now reads less like former lovers and more like two adults who remain in each other’s orbit, albeit in a redefined way.

While the post itself was simple, the context gives it significance. In Bollywood, where personal and romantic narratives often merge with public image, Arjun’s tribute stands out for what it doesn’t say: no longing, no remorse, no cryptic message—just goodwill. At the same time, the restraint with which Malaika responded suggests she values the sentiment but maintains her boundaries.

For both stars, the moment serves as a quiet tour de force: a statement that parting ways doesn’t need to mean the end of respect. In an industry where split stories can amplify into headlines and harassment, this understated exchange flips the script.

As for what this means moving forward, it may not hint at a rekindling or a public reconciliation—but it does pave the way for a new kind of relationship narrative. One in which two people, once romantically linked, choose goodwill over rivalry, dignity over display.

Ultimately, Arjun Kapoor’s birthday message to Malaika Arora is more than just a kind gesture—it’s a closing chapter on one relationship and a quiet but confident step into the next phase.

Shots fired at Kapil Sharma’s restaurant In Canada 3rd time in four months; Bishnoi gang takes responsibility

Comedian Kapil Sharma’s cafe in Surrey, Canada, was attacked for the third time on Thursday when unidentified gunmen fired multiple shots at the restaurant. Kulvir Sidhu, reportedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s network, claimed responsibility in a viral social media post, warning the “general public” to stay away.

Kapil Sharma

According to City News Vancouver, the Surrey Police Service is investigating reports of gunfire at Kap’s Café, located on 85 Avenue and 120 Street, around 3:45 am. Videos circulating online showed multiple bullets hitting the cafe’s walls and windows. A clip reportedly shot from inside a vehicle captured a man sticking his arm out of the window and firing at least half-a-dozen shots from a handgun. Staff were reportedly inside the café during the shooting, but no one was injured.

Kapil Sharma and his team have not yet issued a statement. Kap’s Café was previously targeted on July 9 and August 7. Shortly after Thursday’s shooting, a post attributed to Goldy Dhillon surfaced, stating, “Today’s firing at Kap’s Cafe, Surrey, was carried out by me, Kulvir Sidhu, and Goldy Dhillon. We hold no grudge against the general public. Those who owe us or cheat us will be warned. Bollywood individuals who speak against our religion should also be prepared, bullets can come from anywhere.”

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has reportedly targeted celebrities over the years, including actor Salman Khan, with attacks on his Galaxy Apartment last year. Kap’s Café is located in a mixed-use building in Surrey’s Newton area, with retail outlets on the ground floor and residential apartments above. Police cordoned off the site while collecting evidence, even as children played nearby at a local daycare, highlighting the danger posed to families and the public.

Saif Ali Khan Broke Silence On Being Attacked In His Mumbai Bungalow After 9 Months On Twinkle Khanna Show

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was stabbed during a frightening home invasion earlier this year, an incident that shook both fans and the film industry. The attack happened on the night of January 16th, when an intruder broke into Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s residence in Mumbai. The man entered the room of their younger son, Jeh, and in a bid to escape, stabbed Saif multiple times. Saif was rushed to the hospital, where surgeons removed a part of the knife from his body.

However, questions and rumors about the authenticity of the attack soon surfaced after Saif was seen walking out of the hospital unassisted and looking relatively fit. Many speculated that the incident might have been staged. Now, nine months later, Saif has finally opened up and addressed the situation on Kajol and Twinkle Khanna’s talk show, “Too Much.” During the interview, Saif revealed the harrowing details of that night.

He said Kareena was out when the incident took place, and he was with their sons Taimur and Jeh after watching a movie. Around 2 a.m., the maid informed him that an intruder was in Jeh’s room, holding a knife and demanding money. Saif described how he rushed into the room and confronted the man, who swung the knife wildly, injuring both Jeh and the nanny. A fierce struggle ensued, and Saif was stabbed multiple times, including a wound near his spine.

Saif credited Jeh’s nanny for saving his life by pushing the attacker away. Despite the pain, Saif reassured his son Taimur that he would survive. After the attacker fled, Kareena planned to take the children to Karisma Kapoor’s house, but Saif insisted on going to the hospital, even requesting a stretcher upon arrival. Addressing the rumors, Saif said he walked out of the hospital because he wanted to reassure fans and avoid unnecessary panic. “There was no need for a wheelchair,” he explained, adding that although walking was painful, he was physically capable. Saif also shared that his mother, Sharmila Tagore, advised him to use a wheelchair, but he chose not to.

Derrick Groves Caught In Atlanta 5 Months After NOLA Jail Escape

by jummy84 October 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Derrick Groves is finally in custody after nearly five months on the run! He was one of 10 male inmates who crawled through a hole behind a toilet and escaped from a Louisiana jail in May. Deputy U.S. Marshal Brian Fair confirmed Groves got caught in Atlanta after an anonymous tip originated in New Orleans. He was the last inmate to be found, per the U.S. Marshals.

More Details About Derrick Groves’ Capture

Sgt. Kate Stegall, a spokesperson for the Louisiana State Police, said police took Derrick Groves into custody in a house after a brief standoff.

Groves, 28, had been convicted of murder and was facing a possible life sentence before the jailbreak. He had the most violent criminal record of the escapees and authorities had offered a $50,000 reward for tips that lead to his recapture.
“He was hiding in a crawl space,” Fair said. “It appears he was the only one in this house and he was hidden pretty well.”
Fair said law enforcement developed a lead on Groves’ whereabouts with support from the anonymous tip program Crimestoppers, and that the information originated out of New Orleans.
No one else was arrested, Fair said. Groves was apprehended by the U.S. Marshals southeast regional fugitive task force and Atlanta Police Department SWAT team, Fair said.
Groves was captured in a neighborhood just west of the sprawling Fort McPherson, a former U.S. Army military base that has been home to Tyler Perry Studios, one of the largest movie production facilities in the nation.
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry applauded law enforcement for putting all 10 escapees “back where they belong: BEHIND BARS,” in a post on X.
The other nine escapees had been recaptured within six weeks of breaking out of the New Orleans jail on May 16, and most were found still in Louisiana.
Escapee’s mother reacts to his capture
“I’m all messed up, I’m just trying to talk to him,” Groves’ mother, Stephanie Groves, told The Associated Press. “I’m just seeing it on the internet, I woke up to it on the internet.”
Holding back tears, she said she was concerned for her son’s safety and has wanted him to surrender peacefully. She said she does not know why he went to Atlanta and has not been in contact with him after he escaped. Her family has been followed and surveilled by law enforcement, she said.
“It’s just been a mess,” she said. “I’m just glad it’s over with.”
“Of course he was going to get caught,” she added.
The jailbreak in New Orleans
Groves and the nine other men yanked open a faulty cell door inside the New Orleans jail, squeezed through a hole behind a toilet, scaled a barbed-wire fence and fled into the coverage of darkness. With 10 men on the lam, it was one of the largest jailbreaks in recent U.S. history.
The inmates’ absence wasn’t discovered until a morning headcount, hours after they bolted for freedom. At the scene of the crime, the cell where the men removed a toilet to sneak through a hole, they left a message. On the cell wall they drew an arrow, pointing at the gap they slipped through — above it was a graffitied message: “To Easy LoL.”
City and state officials have pointed to multiple security lapses in the jail, including ineffective cell locks and the assertion that the inmates got out when the lone guard monitoring them went to get food. But authorities remain adamant that the men also had likely had help and that the escape may have been an inside job.
A maintenance worker at the jail was arrested for allegedly helping the incarcerated men escape, by turning off the water to the toilet where a hole was cut behind for the fugitives to sneak out of. The man has denied knowingly aiding them via his lawyer, who says he was just unclogging a toilet. Another former jail employee, identified by authorities as Groves’ girlfriend, is accused of helping coordinate the escape.
Search for the fugitives
Hundreds of law enforcement officers scoured the city for the fugitives and leveraged phone records and hundreds of tips to track some of them down quickly.
At least 16 people, many of them friends and family of the escapees, have been accused of aiding the fugitives before or after the jailbreak and were arrested on felony charges. Court documents allege that those people provided food, cash, transport and shelter.
One fugitive allegedly hid out in a vacant home which his friend had been hired to repaint and was captured in Baton Rouge, more than 80 miles (129 kilometers) from New Orleans. Two others were caught after a high-speed car chase in Walker County, Texas. But most of the fugitives were found inside Orleans Parish city limits.
Antoine Massey, one of the last fugitives to be recaptured, allegedly posted photos and videos on social media while on the run.
Orleans Parish Sheriff Susan Hutson, who has largely blamed the breakout on ailing infrastructure at the jail, has faced widespread criticism from state and local officials over her handling of the escape and management of the jail.
Escapees face additional charges
Many of the men were originally in the New Orleans jail, awaiting sentences or trials, for alleged violent crimes including murder. Groves had been convicted of second-degree murder in 2024 for opening fire on a family block party on Mardi Gras day, killing two people and injuring others. He faces life imprisonment without parole.
The nine other men accused of breaking out of the city jail pleaded not guilty to escape charges in July, appearing via video call from the Louisiana State Penitentiary.
“Everyone is entitled to due process. But there’s a video of these detainees running out of the jail in the middle of the night. They were not heading to court hearings,” state Attorney General Liz Murrill said.
Orleans Parish District Attorney Jason Williams hailed the end of the search and said prosecutors “will pursue every available legal avenue” against Groves.
All 10 men are charged with simple escape, which is tacked on top of previous criminal counts that initially landed them in jail, according to Murrill’s office. The escape charge carries a sentence of two to five years in prison.
Groves’ attorney was present for the arraignment but did not enter a plea on his behalf, reported The New Orleans Advocate/The Times-Picayune.

LeAnn Rimes Shares Health Update Months After Her Teeth Fell Out While Singing

by jummy84 October 8, 2025
written by jummy84

Singer and actress LeAnne Rimes has admitted she kept her health issues hidden for years, though she is now much more open with her struggles, including the moment her teeth fell out mid-performance back in June.

Speaking to Us Weekly ahead of her new ABC series 9-1-1: Nashville, which premieres on Thursday (October 9), Rimes confessed, “For so long, it did feel like I was hiding so much of myself. It did allow for the insecurity of thoughts I’ve had in the past about ‘I’m not pretty, I’m not good enough.’”

However, she said she eventually learned “how to love myself through all of my different incarnations.”

In recent years, Rimes has opened up about her mental health and battles with psoriasis, the latter of which she revealed publicly in 2020.

“I remember when I posted the picture of me with psoriasis all over me, and it was such a moment of relief because I had been hiding that for so long,” she told the outlet. “The same with my mental health and now with perimenopause. Every time I talk about it, I set myself — and someone else — free.”

According to the Mayo Clinic, “Psoriasis is a skin disease that causes a rash with itchy, scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk and scalp” and is “a common, long-term disease with no cure.”

As for how she’s doing now, the “Can’t Fight The Moonlight” singer said, “I feel great. My physical health has been something I’ve focused on the past few years, and preparing my body for the changes it’s going through.”

Disney/Jake Giles Netter

While she feels good, Rimes noted, “Going through perimenopause is no joke. But for the most part, I feel really good in my body.”

Alongside the physical struggles, Rimes said there is also a “grief” that comes with perimenopause. “[It’s] not just about not making eggs anymore. That’s a biological piece of us changing. It’s such a deepening of the soul and allowing pieces of us that no longer serve us to fall away.”

She added, “It is such a transformational and beautiful part of life if we know what’s going on with our bodies.”

Rimes’ openness about her health was best exemplified back in June when her dental bridge fell out while she was performing at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington. The Coyote Ugly star told the audience exactly what was happening and later opened up about the situation with her social media followers.

“I you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front,” Rimes said in a TikTok video, referring to her years of oral surgeries after her veneers didn’t bond properly. “It fell out in the middle of my song last night.”

She revealed she told the fans in attendance “exactly what was happening” and was “pushing her teeth” back in every couple of lines for the rest of the performance. “There wasn’t a thing I could do about it except either walk off or just hold my teeth in. So, I just ran with it,” she added.

Rimes makes her return to acting in 9-1-1: Nashville, which debuts on Thursday. In the 9-1-1 spinoff, Rimes plays Dixie Bennings, the mother of Hunter McVey‘s bad boy, Blue Bennings.

bitchy | Sean Combs sentenced to 50 months in prison, with time served it’s 36 months

by jummy84 October 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Sean Combs’ sentencing hearing was held on Friday, October 3. Months ago, Combs was convicted of two counts of transportation for prostitution, but acquitted of sex trafficking and the RICO charge. His lawyers asked for a reduced sentence because Combs “got sober” in jail, where he was being detained before, during and after his trial. His lawyers said it was the longest Combs has been drug-free in his adult life, and he now blames his drug use on all of his degenerate, abusive behavior. So, what happened at his sentencing?

Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to 50 months in prison after being convicted on two prostitution-related charges back in July. Since he will get credit for time served, he will be in prison for 36 months — or three years. The judge also sentenced Combs to five years of supervised release and imposed a $500,000 fine against him — the maximum fine allowable.

When Judge Arun Subramanian sentenced him, Combs had his head lowered, with his shoulders hunched and his hands clasped.

Prior to being sentenced, Combs apologized to his former girlfriends, friends and family, calling his behavior “disgusting, shameful and sick.” He said his children “deserve better,” and said that he’d failed his mother as a son.

Subramanian said a lengthy sentence was necessary “to send a message to abusers and victims alike that exploitation and violence against women is met with real accountability.”

Earlier in the sentencing proceedings, Assistant U.S. Attorney Christy Slavik told the judge that Combs’ “respect for the law is just lip service.” Slavik said Combs, 55, had already booked speaking engagements as early as next week, anticipating a possible release from prison.

“That is the height of hubris, your honor,” Slavik said. “Even now at sentencing for his conviction for two federal crimes … he doesn’t fully grapple with how his actions got him here.”

[From People]

It should have been life in prison. It should have been fifty years. But… fifty months isn’t nothing. Three years isn’t nothing. I hope he ends up serving a full three years. What I’m afraid of is that Combs’ lawyers are going to march right into the Trump White House and ask for a pardon or a commutation, and I believe Trump will give it to Combs as well. When that happens, we should be outraged, but not shocked in the least. They’ve been telegraphing that for months.

Bad Bunny used his opening monologue on SNL’s Season 51 premiere to fire back at critics of the NFL’s decision to book him for the Super Bowl LX halftime show — particularly those at Fox News.

“I’m very happy. And I think everyone is happy about it — even Fox News,” Bad Bunny said, before cutting to a Fox News clip montage edited to make its anchors appear to say, “Bad Bunny is my favorite musician, and he should be the next president.”

Bad Bunny proceeded to deliver several remarks in Spanish, thanking “Latinos and Latinas in the world here in the United States who have worked to open doors. It’s more than a win for myself, it’s a win for all of us. Our footprints and our contribution in this country, no one will ever be able to take that away or erase it.” Reverting back to English, he quipped, “If you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.”

Sean “Diddy” Combs Sentenced To 50 Months In Prison

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Bad Boy Records mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs was sentenced to 50 months in jail today (Oct. 3) on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution — the only two charges still standing from his sex trafficking and racketeering trial this year.

Combs, who previously pled not guilty to all charges, faced a maximum of 10 years in prison on the prostitution counts.

The sentencing came after a lurid, eight-week trial involving testimony from Combs’ former partner, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura, that he abused and assaulted her over a decade-plus period. The jury was shown a 2016 security camera video of Combs beating Ventura in a Los Angeles hotel hallway after she attempted to flee one of his sex-fueled “freak-off” parties.

Federal District Judge Arun Subramanian said “a substantial sentence must be given to send a message to abusers and victims alike that abuse against women is met with real accountability.”

“To Ms. Ventura, Jane, and the other victims here who came forward, I can only say — your families are proud of you and your children, when they’re old enough will be proud of you, and I am proud of you for telling the world what really happened,” Subramanian said.

Said Ventura attorney Doug Wigdon, “while nothing can undo the trauma caused by Combs, the sentence imposed today recognizes the impact of the serious offenses he committed. We are confident that with the support of her family and friends, Ms. Ventura will continue healing knowing that her bravery and fortitude have been an inspiration to so many.”

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sentenced To 50 Months In Prison For S*xual Assault Lawsuit; Rapper Apologises To Mother, Kids

by jummy84 October 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Hip-hop mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was sentenced to just over four years in prison on Friday after being convicted on prostitution-related charges involving his former girlfriends. His legal team argued for a 14-month sentence, emphasising that Combs is a reformed individual who has already served 13 months in a New York jail. Prosecutors, however, pushed for an 11-year sentence, citing his history of domestic violence.

Sean Diddy Combs Jailed For 50 Months In Prison

During the court proceedings, prosecutors detailed allegations of ab*se, and testimonies from several of Combs’ children—some visibly upset—were presented. The defence described him as an inspiring figure, while Combs himself offered a remorseful apology. Ultimately, Judge Arun Subramanian stated that a substantial sentence was necessary to serve as a deterrent and to send a message.

Before delivering the 50-month sentence, Combs addressed the court—his first public statement since the trial’s start. He apologised to his victims, specifically naming his ex-girlfriends, Casandra Ventura and ‘Jane, who testified under a pseudonym.

Sean’s Apology

“My actions were disgusting, shameful, and sick,” he said. “I got lost in excess, I got lost in my ego.” He also apologised to his mother and his seven children, many of whom were present in the courtroom. He pleaded for a second chance, asserting he would never jeopardise his time with his family again. “I ask your honour for mercy,” he implored. “I’m so sorry. They deserved better,” he added.

Combs expressed accountability, stating, “I don’t have nobody to blame but myself. I know that I’ve learned my lesson.”

What Happened Earlier In The Case?

The nearly two-month federal trial in New York City saw prosecutors accuse Combs of leveraging his celebrity and business empire to run a criminal enterprise and sex traffic his former girlfriends. They alleged that Combs arranged “freak-offs,” where he paid male escorts to have sex with his girlfriends while he watched and recorded, and that he coerced the women into unwanted encounters through drugs and violence.

Although Combs, 55, was acquitted in July of the most serious charges—racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking of Ventura and Jane—the jury found him guilty on two counts of transportation for prostitution. Throughout much of the trial, Combs maintained a stoic demeanour, listening quietly as prosecutors painted a picture of a man who devastated his victims’ lives.

Prosecutor’s Verdict

Prosecutor Christy Slavik argued that a harsher sentence was justified given the gravity of the offences. She emphasised that a lighter sentence would allow Combs to escape accountability for years of alleged domestic violence and ab*se.

“Today is about accountability and justice,” she asserted, pointing to victim statements and photographs of injuries inflicted by Combs. “He didn’t need the money; his currency was control. This is a defendant who will pose a danger at any age.”

The defence countered by asserting that Combs was not a pimp and that the prostitution charges did not reflect his actual conduct. Lawyer Jason Driscoll explained that the conviction was based on the Mann Act, a law from 1910 criminalising the transportation of women for immoral purposes, but noted that Combs did not profit financially from the acts.

They portrayed Combs as a changed man, citing his positive contributions during his 13 months in Brooklyn jail, as well as underlying issues like trauma and dr*g addiction that influenced his behaviour. Defence attorney Nicole Westmoreland expressed that Combs had personally inspired her and highlighted his efforts to start his own record label and clothing line, which she claimed motivated other black entrepreneurs.

Many of Combs’ children testified emotionally, with some sobbing, describing him as a “changed man” and pleading for a second chance. His son Quincy Brown remarked that Combs had “evolved,” and Delila Combs, 18, begged for the opportunity for her family to heal.

Final Verdict

Judge Subramanian acknowledged their testimonies but emphasised that Combs’ actions went beyond mere consumption of prostitution. He was found to have ab*sed his victims physically, emotionally, and psychologically. “You had the money and the power to keep it going,” he said, “This was subjugation.”

The judge rejected the defence’s portrayal of the relationships as consensual and emphasised that Combs’s conduct caused lasting trauma. “You ab*sed them, physically, emotionally, and psychologically,” he said. “Both women will carry this trauma for a lifetime. You had the means to continue, and you chose to subjugate them. This is the reality of what happened.”

Combs will serve approximately 50 months, crediting the roughly 13 months he already spent in custody. He will also be fined $500,000. Following the hearing, his attorney, Marc Agnifilo, announced plans to appeal the ruling.
