H&M x Perfect Moment Has Apres Ski Styles & Outerwear

by jummy84 December 1, 2025

Amid all the Cyber Monday sales, gift season frenzy, and new holiday collection drops, the shopping landscape may feel like an avalanche of too many new and shiny things to cart up. But we’re briefly plowing back all of that to shine a light on H&M’s latest (and coveted) collaboration. This time, the reader-favorite retailer has teamed up with luxury ski and lifestyle brand Perfect Moment on an après-ski-inspired winter collection.

“Après-ski has always had a certain energy: relaxed, comfortable, social, playful, and glamourous,” said Perfect Moment co-founder and creative director Jane Gottschalk, in a press release. “Together [with H&M], we’ve curated a collection that brings the spirit of both brands to life. The pieces are young, fun, [and] sporty, with a winter heartbeat and a nod to the mountains, but belong just as much in the city.”

The 28-piece capsule collection spans versatile knitwear, down-filled outerwear, and statement accessories — like cozy hats and puffer boots — in a chic winter color palette of black, white, silver, rich burgundy, and icy blue.

“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Perfect Moment on this winter collection — it’s unexpected, dynamic, and sure to spark excitement,” said H&M creative advisor and head of womenswear design, Ann-Sofie Johansson, in the release. “The silhouettes are glamorous yet laid-back — just like après-ski — but also have a real edge with the leather, faux fur, and textured knits.”

Opening for Linkin Park in Bengaluru is a full-circle moment for Delhi metal band Bloodywood: ‘Lit a fire within us’

by jummy84 November 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Delhi-based folk-metal band, Bloodywood has described opening for Linkin Park as ‘a full-circle moment,’ after it was announed that they will be the supporting act for the American band’s Bengaluru concert on January 23, next year.

Bloodywood will be opening for Linkin Park in Bengaluru next year

“This is a full circle moment for all of us in Bloodywood. We all have looked up to Linkin Park at certain points in our lives and are big fans of the band. Their sound really defined the nu metal sound in the 2000s and just they kept going ahead with full force,” said the band’s frontman Jayant Bhadula explaining why the opportunity felt deeply personal for the band.

“They lit a fire within all of us that made us create this band and try to walk the same steps as them,” he said. Adding that the announcement was “a very big moment” for the trio, he also said that much of Bloodywood’s identity can be traced back to the band they will now open for .

“Honestly, we are heading into these shows with a lot of love and passion. And the same fire that Linkin Park lit in our hearts back in the day. Yes, not just as musicians, but also as human beings. Also as people who would have posters of Linkin Park in their rooms and would just listen to each and every track of theirs. It’s a very big moment for all of us. It’s a very wholesome one,” he added.

The show in Bengaluru comes just two days before Linkin Park headlines Lollapalooza India in Mumbai, marking the band’s first-ever live performances in the country.

For Bloodywood, the slot adds another major milestone to their international rise, placing them on a platform alongside the artists who shaped their earliest musical ambitions. Known for blending heavy metal with Indian folk elements, the band has been consistently touring globally, building a loyal audience across Europe, the U.S. and Asia.

As they prepare to step on stage before one of their biggest influences, Jayant summed up the mood simply: “We’re just very, very excited to share the stage with them.”

Apple and Issey Miyake Unite for the iPhone Pocket—“It’s a Moment of Connecting the Dots”

Faithful to Apple’s history of paper engineering, the packaging comes with ceremony—and a Japanese twist. The long, frosted paper that contains the iPhone Pocket was inspired by the rice paper candy bags used for a Japanese children’s festival where long sweets are given to symbolize prayers for a healthy life ahead. For Miyamae, it evokes a childlike sense of excitement and anticipation: “The idea is that you’re opening a gift that’s full of candy.”

The accessory also signals how our phones are increasingly becoming part of our outfits; a natural extension of a phone case. “The way that people carry and style their products has changed and is becoming even more of an expression of yourself,” says Anderson. Working with a fashion house like Issey Miyake helps Apple adapt to the shift. “It allows us to be a bit more playful in terms of color, branding, and material…and to flex a little bit into other spaces. We’ve certainly learned things in the process, which perhaps influences our next round of packaging or next round of product,” she says.

Though Miyake and Jobs are not around to see it, there is a significance to the collaboration that transcends the product. “Both these great masterminds are now gone, but what we have in common is how we continue to challenge ourselves to be innovative, and to create new and original things,” says Miyamae. “It’s a moment of connecting the dots.”

The iPhone Pocket short strap will retail for $149.95 (U.S.) and the long strap for $229.95 (U.S.), from Friday November 14 at select Apple Store locations worldwide and from apple.com

Roomies, it looks like Keyshia Cole and Hunxho are really locked in! The rapper surprised fans with a special performance from Keyshia at his Atlanta concert, and the energy was on another level. But what really had folks talking was how cozy they got on stage — giving real “we go together” vibes.

Hunxho & Keyshia Cole Pop Out Looking Extra Cozy In ATL

Fans are convinced Huxnho and Keyshia Cole might actually be official after a video of them at his Atlanta show surfaced online. The rapper hit the stage at Coca-Cola Roxy on Saturday, Nov. 8 and surprised the crowd by bringing Keyshia out. Fans immediately lost it as Hunxho stayed quiet, letting the beat from Keyshia’s ‘I Should’ve Cheated’ play while she strutted out looking flawless. Folks said it looked like they really stamped their relationship, because as soon as Keyshia walked out, she went straight to him and their faces locked.

Fans Go Crazy Over Keyshia & Hunxho’s Chemistry

After TSR reposted the video of Keyshia and Hunxho the comment section lit up with reactions. Some told Keyshia they “understand,” while others were saying their energy proves they got back together.

A Breakdown Of Hunxho & Keyshia Cole’s History

Right now, no one really knows where Keyshia and Hunxho stand. They’ve been leaving fans guessing about whether they’re together or not for a minute now. Back in March, Keyshia told fans she was “pretty f*****g single.” Then in July, folks were shook when a video showed her seemingly covering up a tattoo Hunxho’s first name. After that, people thought they were together when Hunxho pulled up to Keyshia’s Atlanta concert in July and later showed off what fans believed was a tattoo of Keyshia’s initials on his torso since it read, “KC.” Even with all that, neither of them has said a word about their status today.

Bollywood Missed The Moment: India’s Women Made History | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 November 4, 2025
written by jummy84

Bollywood must already be on the phones. Production houses racing to secure rights, writers dusting off their “sports biopic” templates, and actors quietly pitching themselves for roles as Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, or Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, etc.

Because, really, how could they resist? India’s women’s cricket team has delivered the ultimate script — courage, resilience, heartbreak, and triumph — all culminating in a glorious night at the DY Patil Stadium where they lifted the ICC Women’s World Cup.

It’s cinematic gold. And a film will be made — complete with slow-motion shots, a swelling background score, and the patriotic euphoria that Bollywood knows how to bottle perfectly.

But before the film cameras roll, it’s worth asking – where were the real cameras last night? Where were the celebrities who pack VIP boxes at men’s cricket matches, turning stadiums into red carpets? Where were the same stars who flood social media during IPL finals and national team victories?

Because this time, when the women of Indian cricket scripted the nation’s greatest sporting moment in recent years, the stands were tellingly empty of the country’s biggest names — both from Bollywood and from men’s cricket.

Only a handful stood witness: Rohit Sharma, dignified in his presence; Sachin Tendulkar, ever the statesman of sport. The rest — the legends, icons, and influencers — were missing.

Among them, perhaps most notably, the MS Dhoni. The man who gave India its 2011 World Cup glory. The symbol of calm leadership, of composure under fire. His social media congratulation was warm and timely, yes — but cheering through a post isn’t quite the same as showing up in person when history is being written.

The same applies to others — the active stars who command brands, billboards, and broadcast slots; the ones who spend hours shooting commercials about passion, teamwork, and the spirit of cricket. They show up for endorsements, for launches, for photo ops at men’s matches. But when the women brought home the world’s biggest cricketing title, they were nowhere to be seen.

And Bollywood — the same industry that will soon celebrate these women on screen — was no different. Its silence and absence from the stadium echoed a hypocrisy we’ve long normalised: we adore stories of women breaking barriers, but rarely stand beside them as they do it in real time.

This isn’t an indictment — it’s an observation of priorities. Had even a few of the men’s cricketing greats — Dhoni, Kohli, Kapil Dev — been there, it would have created an unforgettable image: the torch of cricket’s legacy being passed across generations, across gender. It would have told every girl that her victory is not a side note in India’s cricketing saga — it is the saga.

Instead, the women stood on that podium, radiant and resolute, celebrating among themselves. Perhaps that’s how it should be — maybe they no longer need validation from the same ecosystem that once overlooked them.

Still, one can’t help but think: what an example it would have set if the biggest faces of Indian cricket — and of Bollywood — had been there to applaud in person.

Presence, after all, is the truest form of respect. And last night, it was the women who turned up — not just to play, but to redefine Indian cricket forever.

As the nation now prepares for the inevitable film, perhaps the industry — both cricketing and cinematic — should pause for a moment of introspection.

Because while Bollywood will soon dramatize this story on screen, the real drama of the night lay elsewhere — in the irony that when India’s women reached the pinnacle of world cricket, the crowd that always claims to love the game, simply stayed home.

Barack Obama Has Fans Gagged After Flirty Moment At NJ Rally

by jummy84 November 3, 2025
written by jummy84

Now y’all know when Barack Obama touches a mic, it’s never just politics — there’s always a little charm, a little humor, and a whole lot of “cool dad” energy. The former president had folks at a New Jersey rally hollering over his smooth talk this weekend… and let’s just say, one fan in particular got a personalized moment from the 44th himself.

Obama’s Still Got That Charm & He Let The Crowd Know It

During a campaign stop in support of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mikie Sherrill, Barack Obama had the crowd fully engaged — and one woman especially caught his attention. “Oh, I love you, but hold on. I heard you, girl. Just settle down,” he laughed. “I’m here to talk to everybody, not just you. I mean, you look cute. But I’m married. Michelle’s fine too.” Whew, Obama really said, “respectfully!”

Standing at a podium marked “VOTE” with the date November 4 displayed proudly, Obama served real cool energy — crisp blue button-up, perfectly lined hairline, and that unwavering devotion to Michelle we all know and love. Beyond the jokes, he used the moment to rally voters in New Jersey and Virginia ahead of Tuesday’s elections.

The TL Couldn’t Keep Calm After This

And of course, The Shade Room comment section did what it always does — explode. Fans flooded in with love for Obama’s smooth charm, saying they “miss that personality in politics” and “he’s still got it.” Others joked that if Barack ever called them cute, they’d “never let anyone forget it.”

One Instagram user @socialnatrosha said, “I love his charismatic personality! 💕”

This Instagram user @itsmyjuniverse added, “If Obama called me cute it’s going on my resume 😂”

And, Instagram user @jojo.emale shared, “Getting called cute by the president is a read and a compliment in itself 😂”

Meanwhile, Instagram user @miss_jeavone wrote, “Classy response for a married man. 👏”

While Instagram user @q.beekay added, “‘I heard you girl’ is sending me 😂”

Lastly, Instagram user @therealkeimari commented, “I just love him so much! Michelle too ❤️😂😂😂😂”

Michelle & Barack Are Still The Blueprint

Because one thing about Barack Obama — he’s going to love him some Michelle! The forever First Lady recently spilled a little tea about how she and Barack keep the spark alive after all these years. Rocking a mustard yellow top, black pants, and gold hoops, Michelle had everyone smiling as she admitted that since they both work from home, sometimes it’s best to keep the convo light until dinner. “Don’t talk to me, save it for dinner,” she joked — and honestly, that’s relationship goals right there!

Medicine Music Is Having a Special Moment

Medicine Music Is Having a Special Moment

by jummy84 October 27, 2025
written by jummy84

“Music can heal, if life is put into it.”

Those are the words of a holy man named Inayat Khan, plucked from his treatise, The Mysticism of Sound and Music. A renowned musicologist, philosopher and singer, he is largely credited with bringing Sufism, a mystical branch of Islam, to the West during his travels through WWI.

“Health is a perfect condition of rhythm and tone.” He wrote. “And what is music? Music is rhythm and tone. When the health is out of order it means that the music in ourselves is not right.” As a music student, I would carry his book with me from lesson to lesson, tucked into my gig bag to keep it dry from the Boston rain as I walked the same streets he did a century before on his pilgrimage to bring his message to America.

Expressing his concern, he shared, “the great drawback today in the world of song is that people are going far away from what is called the natural voice, and this is brought about by commercialism. They have made a hall for one hundred persons, then for five hundred, and then for five thousand persons. A man must shout in order to make five thousand people hear him, in order to have a success.”

Music is made by how we make each other feel. Greatness requires an attunement to your own and other people’s souls. Harmony or dissonance is in the way you breathe, how you act, and in the words you choose. The instrument is you, and how you live is what keeps it in tune.

When I stepped into my career in 2010, the inflation rate on his principle shared in 1910 had increased a hundredfold. This was the rise of social media so the emphasis on music-making for attention-getting was being shaped by the emerging necessity of “going viral” to succeed. Going viral. Those words alone should have told us we were making ourselves sick, long before we saw how it made us act.

There’s a place for Inayat Khan’s principles in pop culture now. It’s called ‘Medicine Music’ and while it’s nothing new, the growing level of interest from today’s audiences is.

It dawned on me that a shift was happening a couple of years ago while I was on a boat in Antarctica with Diplo and the musician Rhye, debating with the scientists on board whether the music from our dance parties was attracting the whales. Strikingly, that very same day on the other side of the planet, a team of scientists shared an announcement of their success in communicating with a whale off the coast of Alaska through the use of an underwater speaker. See, up north, they were using AI to optimize their whale songs. Down south, we were using vibes.

I loved ribbing our scientists on board with the silliness of this idea. We were, after all, aboard a circus at sea that was being widely memed online as “Diplo’s Wellness Cruise” for its featured sound baths, yoga, and meditations.

It was during one of those sound baths, led by Rhye (aka Mike Milosh), that I experienced one of the most remarkable musical moments of my life. We were in a glass atrium on the upper deck of the ship as it navigated between icebergs through a tight channel in the Antarctic sea, with glacial mountains rising on either side. It was the December solstice near the South Pole, so we were passing quietly through an everlasting twilight. For the first half or so, Rhye was playing acoustic versions of his popular songs. For the second, he was doing something different. He was being someone different. He wasn’t performing as Rhye, he was making music as Mike Milosh.

Those familiar with Rhye’s music will recognize his voice for its uniquely ethereal quality, often both melancholic and soulful to the point of feeling intimate. Much of this sound comes, I imagine, from Mike’s early classical training on the cello. Liberated from the recitation of his own songs, he began to improvise, simply making music to meet the moment. The prosody of the melodies matched our environment of ocean waves and frozen fog.

A sound bath is meant to be an attunement. So, listening closely, I attuned to my instinctive feelings. Quietly, I stood up and walked to the windows at the ship’s bow. Two pods of orcas had approached on either side of the ship and were swimming alongside us, escorting us across the sea.

“Besides the natural charm that music has, it has a magical power, a power that can be experienced even now. It seems that the human race has lost a great deal of the ancient science of magic, but if there remains any magic it is music.” – Hazrat Inayat Khan

It’s silly to believe in magic. Yet it’s undeniable to encounter awe. Such is the magic of art. Let science claim the search for truth. Music is the search for beauty, and it’s through beauty the truth is often found.

The label ‘Medicine Music’ applies first and foremost to an indigenous approach to music making, often as an accompaniment to ceremonial gatherings with or without plant medicine. The Yawanawá tribe of the Amazon have become powerful cultural ambassadors, traveling far and wide to host gatherings in the hundreds singing powerfully, accompanied by the steady strumming of acoustic guitars while serving hapé, a sacred shamanic tobacco snuff medicine. Ayahuasca ceremonies of the Andes, guided by icaros, the songs of the Quechua medicine people, have exploded in popularity around the world.

Contemporary world music artists like Poranguí have blended together medicine music influences from across the Americas into something of a continental folk instrumental movement that has captured its own sub-sub-culture of spiritual seekers in the music festival world. The last decade or so has seen the emergence of festivals such as Medicine Festival in England, Envision Festival in Costa Rica, Aniwa Gathering in California, and others that harness the growing audience at the intersection of indigeneity, spirituality, sustainability, and music.

In the worlds of ambient and electronic music specifically, musicians like East Forest whose 2019 album Music for Mushrooms: A Soundtrack for the Psychedelic Practitioner and Jon Hopkins 2021 album Music for Psychedelic Therapy have focused squarely on the usage of music for guided ceremonies with plant medicine. In 2023, when André 3000 made a pivot into ambient flute music with his album New Blue Sun, it was heralded as a smart, provocative turn by a tastemaker toward a renewing trend in culture. Collaborating with new age instrumentalist Carlos Niño, the project infused playful references to medicine music themes with tracks such as the lead single, “I Swear, I Really Wanted to Make a ‘Rap’ Album but This Is Literally the Way the Wind Blew Me This Time”.

All of this describes a growing cultural movement but doesn’t decode what I believe to be the most important aspect of what’s going on: a renewed valuing of the experience of music made from the full depth of your human spirit in rising counterpart to the now deafening noise of the artificial.

There is a paradox in this in that we are seeing a modern expansion of an ancient approach to music that is powered by the intimacy of presence, in a shared moment of human experience, happening at a time of technology’s seizing the means of creative production. Could this emphasis on human creativity — should it — overcome the forces of commercialization?

Vivien Vilela, co-founder of Aniwa, an international platform that shares Indigenous wisdom and amplifies the voices of Indigenous leaders through online education, an annual gathering, and in-person retreats, is a guide for many who seek an authoritative connection to the deeper truths held by human cultures. Born and raised in Brazil, Vivien has dedicated her life to her spiritual studies under the mentorship of some of the most respected Indigenous elders from South, Central, and North America. She has taken a sacred oath and commitment in the Wixarixa tradition to continue to serve her life as a Marakame — a shaman that can heal and teach.

“Medicine music is more than sound,” she says. “Medicine music opens the heart, calms the mind, and harmonizes the spirit. It often calls upon the forces of nature and spirit to bring forth healing. These songs carry a frequency of beauty, reverence, and balance. Icaros, for example — sung by shamans working with healing plants — are not just songs; they are energetic tools and spiritual channels.

“Each icaro carries the consciousness of the plants and serves as a bridge between the seen and unseen realms. They can be sung to activate the energy of the medicine during ceremony, clear energetic blockages, remove negative influences, guide participants through their inner landscapes, and call in protective spirits, ancestors, or elemental forces to support the healing process.”

She continues: “The way music is performed carries just as much energy as the sound itself. The focus is not on performance, but on presence. Every sound, movement, breath, and silence is part of the medicine being offered.”

There is also a science to this approach to music-making, in the knowledge of specific tones or sonic frequencies held to be sacred. As Vivien articulates, “A hallmark of medicine music is its use of natural, harmonic frequencies. 432 Hz, for example, is often called the ‘frequency of harmony,’ believed to resonate with the body’s cells and the natural rhythm of the Earth. In contrast, much of today’s music is produced using 440 Hz tuning. Many believe it contributes to a more dissonant, mind-centered experience that can disconnect us from our bodies and inner stillness. Medicine music is about tuning in, pop music can be about tuning out.

“Medicine music has the potential to play a much larger role. As more people awaken to the importance of frequency, intention, and spiritual health, this music can become a bridge, reconnecting individuals to nature, ancestral wisdom, and their own inner truth.

“Be mindful of what you’re listening to,” she warns “because sound is not just entertainment — it’s energy. And energy has the power to heal or to harm, to center or to scatter.”

This brought me back to what had intrigued me so much about that musical moment with Mike Milosh and the whales: a musician more answering their inner call than responding to an outer tradition. In that performance, he was straddling between Rhye, who has over 130M streams on his songs, and a call to a more mystical identity that, at that moment, could not have an audience greater than whomever is present in any given room. It was an attunement in frequency from the modern world Inayat Khan warned about and toward the ancient world he remembered.

I asked Mike how this shift from mainstream toward medicine has continued for him. He clarified that the Medicine Music I’m asking about is “music that has a doorway to the mystic, inherently a long form experience with many peaks and valleys.

“A lot more patience and a lot more — and I stress that — subtlety is required for medicine-specific music.

“American culture is a fairly new culture, one that needs to move past the stages of growth that it has been cycling in. The homogenization of wellness culture needs to move past just capitalistic endeavors and into mystical expansion, and a connection with both our planet and its wonderful animals, the universe and consciousness and our ability to commune with other beings. We need to grow and become more self aware. There is no rule, no one way, there are many roads to calm, self realization and actualization.

“I do feel this world isn’t a surface one, and should be approached with a lot of care, a lot of intention and with the right people around. Musically that is incredibly important.”

Ghost Hunters Steve Gonsalves’ Scariest Paranormal Moment

by jummy84 October 25, 2025
written by jummy84

The one where Courteney Cox shares a ghost story.

The Friends star told Howard Stern she had a delivery man ring her doorbell and inform her of an unexpected guest.

“I answered it, got my package and he said, ‘Do you know this house is haunted?’” Courteney said on a 2022 episode of his SiriusXM show. “And I go, ‘Really? Why?’ He goes, ‘Because there’s someone standing behind you.’ And I thought, ‘Oh s–t.’”

This wasn’t her only spooky experience, however. Courteney also recalled a scare she had in London.

“I’d just gotten there,” the Scream alum added. “So yeah, I was a little jet-lagged but I wasn’t sleeping. I was sitting there, I closed my eyes to try to sleep and all of a sudden I saw these really scary faces—like old faces. I was like, ‘OK, stop, stop, you gotta stop.’ And then all of a sudden I was like, ‘Mom? Dad? Auntie Em?’ I don’t know. I just kept seeing all these weird things.”

After also seeing lights and a plant move, Courteney alerted her longtime love Johnny McDaid.

“I was like, ‘Johnny! Wake up! I’m seeing spirits!'” the actress added. “And he had all these waves around him too. And he goes, ‘Courteney, you’re asleep.’ I said, ‘No, I just woke you up! How can I be asleep?’ He’s like, ‘Well, I’m asleep. There are no ghosts.’ I did see them for sure.”

Ultimately, Courteney warded them off with a request.

“I said, ‘Thanks for visiting last night. That was fun. Do not come back tonight cause I have to sleep,'” she said. “And I didn’t see them again.”
