Sunil Pal Slams Aryan Khan’s Web Series “The Ba***ds of Bollywood,” Says He Mocked the Industry That Made His Father a Superstar

Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, made his directorial debut with the Netflix web series “The Ba***ds of Bollywood.” The show has received mixed reactions from audiences and critics alike. While many praised Aryan’s bold storytelling and satirical take on the film industry, comedian Sunil Pal has strongly criticized it for mocking Bollywood.

Sunil Pal Criticized Aryan Khan

In an interview with one of the media houses, Sunil Pal expressed his disappointment, saying, “You are criticizing the same Bollywood that made your father such a superstar!” He added that Aryan should have shown more respect toward the industry that has given his family so much fame and success. Let us tell you that Shah Rukh Khan, who has ruled Bollywood for more than 33 years, has delivered countless blockbusters and established himself as one of the most loved actors globally.

Interestingly, SRK himself appears in a cameo role in Aryan’s show, which also pokes fun at several well-known actors and industry practices. Despite this, none of the celebrities who were referenced or portrayed in the show have publicly objected to its content. Sunil Pal further stated that Aryan had all the resources and support to create something more inspiring. He said, “Aryan had no shortage of fame, money, or platform. If he had waited for five more years and worked harder, he could have made something even Sanjay Leela Bhansali would have appreciated.”

“The Bads of Bollywood” features an impressive ensemble cast including Lakshya, Sahher Bambba, Bobby Deol, Raghav Juyal, Anya Singh, Mona Singh, and Manoj Pahwa. Several Bollywood celebrities, such as Karan Johar, Emraan Hashmi, and Shah Rukh Khan, make special cameo appearances. The series, streaming on Netflix, explores the darker and humorous sides of the glamour industry, blending satire with social commentary. While Aryan Khan’s debut has sparked controversy, it has also established him as a daring new voice in modern storytelling, one unafraid to question the very world he comes from.

FAMU Apologizes After Alabama State’s Dance Team Is Mocked

Florida A&M University is doing damage control after a halftime moment at Bragg Memorial Stadium went viral for all the wrong reasons.

On Saturday (Sept. 27), FAMU President Marva Johnson issued a public apology to Alabama State University after their “Rattlers” band announcer made an offensive remark about ASU’s beloved Honey Beez dance team.

The Honey Beez — who are the full-figured dance team that performs alongside the Mighty Marching Hornets — had just wrapped their halftime performance during the FAMU-ASU matchup when announcer Joe Bullard referred to them as “the new face of Ozempic.”

The shocking comment citing the diabetes and weight-loss drug left the entire stadium gasping in disbelief. Watch below.

The remark made waves on social media, sparking outrage and disappointment across the HBCU community. ASU President Dr. Quinton T. Ross Jr. quickly addressed the incident in a statement on Facebook, calling the words “short-sighted” and stressing that “to have their artistry disrespected after such a performance is unacceptable.”

He added that he had already spoken with both Johnson and the Southwestern Athletic Conference commissioner.

In response, Johnson issued her own statement apologizing directly to ASU, the Honey Beez, and Hornet Nation. “I conveyed my regret and reaffirmed that such comments are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” she wrote, promising accountability and new measures to prevent a repeat of the incident. Johnson also praised the Honey Beez, describing them as a team that “represents discipline, school pride, and performance tradition respected across the nation.”

Many people sided with Johnson, calling out the announcer’s words as out of step with the community FAMU claims to represent. “As an HBCU grad and parent of two current Rattlers, one of which is a classically trained dancer, I was appalled and repulsed at the insensitive comment,” one supporter wrote on Facebook. “Bravo to the President for issuing this apology to ASU and the Honey Beez.”

Not everyone, however, is calling for Bullard’s removal. Miami Hip-Hop legend, Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell, defended his longtime friend. Taking to Facebook, he noted that while the announcer “deeply regrets” his words, the path forward should be a public apology to the Honey Beez and appropriate disciplinary action, but not result in “termination.”

The drama capped off an already tough night for FAMU, as Alabama State handed FAMU a 41-14 loss in their SWAC opener.

Bill Maher Condemns ‘People Who Mocked’ Charlie Kirk’s Death

by jummy84 September 14, 2025

Bill Maher addressed Charlie Kirk’s assassination during Friday night’s episode of Real Time, where he started the episode off by noting that it had been a “very ugly week in America.”

During his opening monologue, Maher touched on the current state of politics in the United States in the wake of the shooting. He began, “It’s a very ugly week in America with violence of all kinds: political violence, regular violence, a lot of people talking about a civil war.”

“And then today in Congress, because Charlie Kirk got assassinated, [Colorado Representative] Lauren Boebert stood up and said, ‘We need to have a prayer.’ So they started to have a silent prayer. And then she started screaming, ‘No! Silent prayers get silent results.’ As if praying out loud gets big results,” Maher continued. “Then the Democrats started screaming at her that there was a school shooting in her state. I tell you, so far, the civil war is not very civil.”

Conservative activist Charlie Kirk was killed Wednesday on the campus of Utah Valley University after an assassin’s bullet struck his neck while he was hosting a student’s event. He was discussing mass shootings in the U.S. when he was struck. On Friday, Tyler Robinson was identified as the suspect in the assassination and was brought into custody.

Maher went on to address President Donald Trump’s answer to a question he was asked on Fox & Friends about how to “fix this country” and “come back together” in the wake of a major political divide.

“Today, they asked the President, ‘What are you going to do to bring the country together?’” he recited. “And he said, ‘I know this is going to get me in trouble, but I could care less.’ He’s a different kind of cat. His message is, ‘Let the healing stop.’”

Later in the episode, Maher sat down with Ben Shapiro and and Tim Alberta, where they spoke about Kirk’s death in length. There, the Real Time host condemned “the people who mocked his death or justified it.”

“I like everybody, I talk to everybody, I’m glad I took that approach. But he was shot under a banner that said, ‘Prove me wrong,’ because he was a debater, and too many people think that the way to do that — to prove you wrong — is to just eliminate you from talking altogether,” he said. “So the people who mocked his death or justified it, I think you’re gross. I have no use for you. The people who are saying now we’re at war, I’ve no use for you.”

He further addressed the widespread reaction Kirk’s assassination sparked on social media.

“The governor of the state said, ‘Social media is a cancer,’ which I think is true because when you read some of the comments from people, they really are in such a bubble that they don’t understand that it’s happening on both sides,” Maher added. “And I think the only way this starts to get better is if both sides admit, ‘OK, let’s not have this debate about who started it. Let’s not debate about who’s worse because, plainly, both sides do it now.’ And the right has done it too. A lot.”

Following Kirk’s death, Hollywood and political figures took to social media to share their reactions and tributes to the late MAGA activist. President Donald Trump announced his death on Truth Social, writing, “No one understood or had the Heart of the Youth in the United States of America better than Charlie. He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my Sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family. Charlie, we love you!”

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel took to Instagram, where he wrote, “Instead of the angry finger-pointing, can we just for one day agree that it is horrible and monstrous to shoot another human? On behalf of my family, we send love to the Kirks and to all the children, parents and innocents who fall victim to senseless gun violence.”
