Known for their candid conversations and witty humor, the show’s latest episode featuring Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon turned unexpectedly controversial when Kajol made a bold remark about marriage. During a fun segment, Kajol, who has been happily married to Ajay Devgn for over two decades, said that she believes marriages should come with an expiry date and a renewal option, just like a license!

Twinkle Khanna asked the guests, “Should marriage have an expiry date and a renewal option?” While Kriti Sanon, Vicky Kaushal, and Twinkle Khanna disagreed with the idea and moved to the red zone, Kajol confidently stood in the green zone, signaling her support.

Kajol explained, “I definitely think so. What guarantee is there that you’ll marry the right person at the right time? A renewal option would be appropriate, and if there’s an expiry date, no one would have to suffer in such a relationship for long.” Her statement sparked laughter and surprise from everyone on set, including Twinkle, who quickly quipped, “No, this is a marriage, not a washing machine!”

Kajol, in her signature playful tone, tried to persuade Twinkle to join her side but the author-turned-host stood firm in her opinion. Kajol’s remark comes soon after Twinkle Khanna made headlines in a previous episode featuring Janhvi Kapoor and Karan Johar. During that conversation, Twinkle had said that emotional cheating is more painful than physical cheating, sparking debates across social media about modern relationships and emotional loyalty.

1. Alvin Martin

Whoopi married Alvin Martin in 1973 when she was just 18 years old. In 1973, shortly after getting married, Whoopi and Alvin gave birth to their daughter, Alex Martin, Whoopi’s only child. The couple divorced in 1979 after being married for six years.

While Alex is Whoopi’s only child, Alex gave birth to three of her own children with her husband, Bernard Dean, making Whoopi a grandmother.

2. David Claessen

David Claessen, a Dutch cinematographer, was Whoopi’s second husband, whom she married seven years after her divorce from Alvin. David and Whoopi got married in 1986 and were together for two years, where they were publicly pictured at movie premieres. The couple got divorced in 1988.

3. Lyle Trachtenberg

Nicole Kidman has been a beloved, international actress for over three decades. After making her debut in her native country of Australia in the 1983 film Bush Christmas. Nicole and Tom met while working on their movie Days of Thunder in 1989, and they wed the following year on Christmas Eve 1990. Throughout the pair’s relationship, they adopted a daughter Isabella, 29, and son Connor, 27. The couple regularly appeared together on red carpets, and they were frequently seen beside each other. Despite both stars being huge, Nicole has opened up about her feelings at that time. She said that she felt like a star “by association” in a 2009 interview with Easy Living, per Marie Claire. “We would go to the Oscars and I would think, ‘I’m here to support him.’ I felt it was my job to put on a beautiful dress and be seen and not heard,” she said.

The actors also co-starred in Stanley Kubrick’s classic 1999 film Eyes Wide Shut together. Nicole reflected on that time in her and Tom’s marriage in a 2020 interview with The New York Times. “We had two kids and were living in a trailer on the lot primarily, making spaghetti because Stanley liked to eat with us sometimes,” she said. “We were happily married through that. We would go go-kart racing after those scenes. We’d rent out a place and go racing at 3 in the morning.”

Unfortunately, Tom and Nicole ended up splitting up in 2001. Shortly after the divorce, Nicole explained that she felt like her “life collapsed” after the breakup in a 2002 interview with Vanity Fair. “You’re being watched and scrutinized, and that slowly affects you. But it’s also deeply romantic, because it feels like there’s only the two of you and you’re in it together, as if you’re in a cocoon, and you become very dependent on each other,” she said after the split.

Since the breakup, the pair’s adopted children chose to stay with Cruise’s religion of Scientology. Nicole has spoken about their children staying Scientologists in recent years. “[Isabella and Connor] have made choices to be Scientologists. It’s our job as a parent to always offer unconditional love,” she told The Sun in a 2019 interview.

After the divorce from Tom, Nicole started dating Keith Urban in 2005, and the pair wed the following year in their home country of Australia. The couple have two daughters Sunday Rose, 13, and Faith Margaret, 11. Nearly 16 years after tying the knot, the couple are still going super strong, and it’s clear that they both support each other in their creative endeavors. She has posted tons of photos of the couple showing off some PDA on a number of occasions, especially for romantic days, like Valentine’s Day.

Nicole also opened up about the secret to making their marriage work in a September 2021 interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “We’re always working through stuff, but it’s very much love based, so there’s an enormous amount of give and take. I want him to have the best life he can have, and he responds the same way. We really love parenting together,” she said.

In the summer of 2025, however, Nicole and Keith reportedly split. Multiple outlets reported that the now-estranged spouses had been separated since the beginning of that summer.

Christina Haack Gets Candid About ‘Embarrassment’ of Her ‘3 Failed Marriages’

HGTV favorite Christina Haack is reflecting on her “whirlwind” past decade and her three divorces, which she admitted led to a long battle with “embarrassment” and learning to “forgive” herself.

The Flip Off star took to her Instagram page on Sunday (September 28), sharing a car selfie and a lengthy message, thanking fans for “still being here” after her rollercoaster journey, which she said she “decided it was time to get off” in early 2024.

“Since then I’ve gone through many battles with myself and my ego. Biggest battle has been Embarrassment. Embarrassment over allowing myself to be treated certain ways and having 3 failed marriages. Trust me that one hurts and still at times makes me cringe,” she wrote.

Haack was married to her Flip Off co-star Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2016; the pair share two children. After they split, Haack got into a relationship with Ant Anstead, marrying him in 2018 and welcoming a son together in 2019. Haack’s divorce from Anstead was finalized in June 2021, and later that same year, she married Josh Hall.

The Christina in the Country host and Hall filed for divorce in July 2024 after almost three years of marriage. Since then, the exes had been embroiled in an intense legal battle over spousal support and other financial matters, including the selling of Haack’s $4.5 million Tennessee farmhouse. The divorce was finalized earlier this year.

“I’ve had to forgive myself and trust that things happen for a reason. I had to finally look myself in the mirror, do the work (with my amazing life coach) and ultimately decide to take ownership over my choices and most importantly- to forgive myself,” Haack added in her latest post.

The reality star admitted she is “still a work in progress” but noted how she no longer has anxiety. “And this came from self awareness within (not from smoking a toad or trying a quick fix),” she stated.

“I’ve had the wind knocked out of me so many times I’m shocked I’m still happy, motivated, and excited about life. But I am,” Haack contineud. “I’ll credit this to wanting to change, putting in the work to better understand myself, and only surrounding myself with people who are also happy, motivated and genuinely want me to succeed. That last one is SO important.”

In February 2025, Haack went public with her new relationship, sharing an Instagram photo with her new beau, Christopher Larocca, the president and CEO of Network Connex.

“I’ve been tested, humbled, and reminded of what truly matters: my kids (especially communication and them ultimately learning from my mistakes), my inner circle, and NEVER giving up on my dreams!” Haack concluded. “If you’re in the tornado, don’t give up. I promise if you decide to make a change and stick with it, life can truly be peaceful, FUN and free.”

Reese Witherspoon has been a few public relationships. The Morning Show star and her ex-husband Jim Toth announced their divorce via Instagram on March 24, 2023. She married the talent agent over a decade beforehand, and they grew apart. Before Jim, Reese was married to actor Ryan Phillippe. Reese’s two marriages led to the births of her three children: Ava Phillippe, Deacon Phillippe and Tennessee Toth.

Reese and Jim finalized their divorce nearly five months after announcing their split on August 2, 2023. The pair filed paperwork in Nashville, Tennessee to declare themselves “legally single,” finalizing the split.

In September 2025, Reese opened up about a past toxic relationship on “The Interview” podcast without revealing the name of the boyfriend she was referring to.

“You get into relationships that don’t work for you, and sometimes you don’t even see the dynamics that are happening,” Reese said. “It took me a while to reconstitute myself. My spirit had been diminished because I thought all those awful things that person said about me were true. I had to rewire my brain.”

Reese met her first husband at her 21st birthday party in March 1997. “I crashed her party,” Ryan told The Morning Call in 1999. “I went with a friend because I knew there would be free food and drinks. I was just sitting back in the corner pounding away the drinks when somebody walked over and introduced Reese to me.” Reese, meanwhile, told Jane magazine the year after the party, “I don’t know what came over me—maybe the seven Midori sours—but I told him, ‘I think you’re my birthday present.’ He thought it was so flattering, and now that I think about it…how embarrassing!”

Reese and Ryan reunited to film the 1999 teen rom-com Cruel Intentions, which they starred in alongside Sarah Michelle Gellar, Selma Blair, and Joshua Jackson. They fell in love on set and got engaged in December 1998. Six months later, on June 5, 1999, Reese and Ryan tied the knot at Old Wide Awake Plantation in Hollywood, South Carolina. At the time, Reese was roughly six months pregnant with their daughter Ava, who was born on September 9, 1999. Their son Deacon arrived on October 23, 2003.

In October 2006, Reese and Ryan announced that they were separating after 7 years of marriage. That November, the Walk the Line actress filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. They agreed to joint legal and physical custody of their two children. Years after the split, Ryan told Larry King that he thinks his and Reese’s ages played a factor in their marriage ending. “When we got together we were so young,” Ryan said in 2015. “I think it can create issues with two people in this industry because there’s so much noise that goes along with it.” Since splitting up, Reese and Ryan have remained on good terms while co-parenting Ava and Deacon. In Oct. 2021, the famous exes reunited to celebrate Deacon’s 18th birthday.

Jim Toth

Reese reportedly started dating her second husband in February 2010, roughly four years after she separated from Ryan. The Big Little Lies star met Jim as a client of Creative Artists Agency, where he serves as the co-head of motion picture talent. They got married on March 26, 2011 in Ojai, California at Reese’s ranch, which she’s since sold. After the wedding, Jim instantly became a loving stepfather to Ava and Deacon. “I got lucky. I did. I got very lucky. He’s so wonderful with the children. I’m very blessed,” she told Marie Claire in Sept. 2011. “Somebody close to me once said, ‘Oh, no man will ever accept your children.’ And I just thought it was the most horrifying thing someone has ever said to me in my entire life. And until I got remarried, I don’t think I realized how stressed I was. I feel so much relief. I don’t think I realized how stressed I was being a single parent. It was really, really stressful. It’s not easy on anybody. It’s really traumatic.”

Reese and Jim welcomed their first child together, son Tennessee, on September 27, 2012. The following year, the couple made headlines when they were arrested in Atlanta. Reese was charged with disorderly conduct, while Jim was charged with a DUI. She pleaded no-contest and had to pay a fine. Jim plead guilty and was sentenced to community service, one year of probation and an alcohol education program.

Reese and Jim’s romance has really turned into something special. The pair have traveled together and enjoy special times both as a couple and with Ava, Deacon, and Tennessee. In March 2021, Reese celebrated the couple’s 10-year wedding anniversary by sharing a wedding throwback pic and sweet message to her hubby. “Looking back, I can’t believe it has gone so quickly! I guess that’s how it goes with 3 kids, Big LOVE, lots of laughing, non- stop travel, so many dogs, and fun adventures… figuring out this crazy world together,” the actress wrote. “Here’s to many more days in the sun! Most recently, Reese and her former love announced they are officially calling it quits on their nearly 12-year marriage as of March 24, 2023. “We have some personal news to share… It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the Instagram note read at the time. “We have enjoyed so many wonderful years together and are moving forward with deep love, kindness and mutual respect for everything we have created together. Our biggest priority is our son and our entire family as we navigate this next chapter,” they continued. “These matters are never easy and are extremely personal. We truly appreciate everyone’s respect for our family’s privacy at this time.”

At the time of their split, a source claimed to People that the former love birds will remain friendly. “They really are the best of friends and this is such an amicable decision. They are so committed to co-parenting together. They are invested in their whole family and making this as smooth as possible for everyone,” they said.

Most recently, on Aug. 2, 2023, The Blast reported that Reese and Jim filed paperwork with the Nashville, Tennessee courts to legally end their marriage. The ex pair have reportedly been declared “legally single” and filed a “permanent parenting plan” regarding their son with the local judge with approval at the time of their legal split. The former couple cited “irreconcilable differences” as their reason for divorce.

Some of Reba McEntire’s most famous songs are about love, and the Queen of Country — who is performing the National Anthem during this year’s Super Bowl pregame — has been in a blissful relationship with her boyfriend, Rex Linn, for more than three years. As their romance took off in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the two couldn’t enjoy in-person dates for quite some time. Narvel joined Reba as her guitarist in the 1980s, and the duo developed a solid working relationship at the time. Since she was still married to Charlie, the “One Promise Too Late” singer didn’t start dating Narvel until she finalized her divorce from Charlie.

Narvel eventually became the manage of Reba’s band, and they started dating in the late 1980s. In 1989, Reba and Narvel exchanged vows and welcomed their child, son Shelby Blackstock, in 1990.

In 2015, Narvel shocked Reba when he filed for divorce. The country music artist admitted she was stunned during an episode of her podcast, “Forging Your Own Path.”

“The divorce was not my choice. I did not want it at all,” Reba pointed out. “The people who were literally taking care of me and my company [and] my career left me. It was kind of a, as I call, come-to-Jesus meeting. I had to gather my wear with all.”

Rex Linn

Although Rex and Reba fell in love in 2020, they first met in 1991 on the set of The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw. They didn’t keep in touch often until they reconnected in 2020 while working on Young Sheldon.

During a 2023 interview with TODAY, Reba recalled how Rex asked her out. “Rex texted me and said, ‘You’re coming to LA? Let’s have dinner,’” she explained. “I don’t know what it was about it. … I wanted to get in to see Rex so bad I could hardly stand it. We were inseparable.”

In September 2025, multiple outlets reported that Reba and Rex were engaged.
