OG box office update

As per the latest update on Sacnilk, OG collected ₹ 5.96 crore on its seventh day of release. The film showed a slight dip in collections during the week days, but it has still managed to hold on to the momentum, given there has been strong word of mouth praise for it. Taking Wednesday’s collections into account, the film’s total collection after six days is ₹160.81 crore.

About OG

OG tells the story of a samurai named Ojas Gambheera (Pawan) who travels to India during the Second World War and grows up to become Satya Dada’s (Prakash Raj) right-hand man. He gives it all up due to an unforeseen incident and leads an idyllic life with Kanmani (Priyanka Mohan) and their daughter Tara before circumstances force him to pick up his katana again. The film ends by teasing a sequel which will explore more of OG’s story.

At the success meet, Pawan’s co-star Sriya Reddy praised him and said, “Pawan Kalyan sir encourages women. As a woman, I feel we’re not supported by men as much as we deserve. Then comes someone like Pawan sir… He’s not insecure about me taking center stage in a scene. I am in awe of him.”

Watch Feeder reunite with drummer Mark Richardson at Brixton Academy

written by jummy84

Feeder have kicked off their latest run of UK tour dates, and brought out former drummer Mark Richardson. Check out footage and the setlist below.

The new run of dates are part of the band’s ‘Comfort In Sound’ tour, which sees them celebrate their classic 2002 album.

That album landed on the UK Top 10 upon its release and spent more than two years on the UK Independent Albums Chart Top 50. It was their first release since the tragic death of original drummer Jon Lee, and saw Mark Richardson join the band as sticksman.

Feeder kicked off the anniversary tour dates for the record last week, and shows have so far included a slot at the O2 Academy in Leeds and the O2 Brixton Academy in London.

The latter saw them reunite with Richardson, who joined as drummer in 2002 and played on ‘Pushing The Senses’, ‘The Singles’ and ‘Silent Cry’, as well as the aforementioned ‘Comfort In Sound’. He left the band in 2009 to rejoin Skunk Anansie, and was replaced by Karl Brazil.

He appeared with the band in London, with frontman Grant Nicholas introducing him to the audience and describing him as “the hardest-hitting drummer I’ve ever, ever worked with.”

“Respect! How are you getting on Mark? Everybody say hello to Mark,” he added, also encouraging the crowd to chant his name. “Want to hear one with him? How about this one?” Nicholas said, before launching into fan favourite song ‘Feeling A Moment’.

He also stayed to play ‘Pushing The Senses’. Check out more footage and the setlist below.

The Feeder setlist in London was:

‘Just the Way I’m Feeling’
‘Come Back Around’
‘Helium’
‘Child in You’
‘Comfort in Sound’
‘Forget About Tomorrow’
‘Summer’s Gone’
‘Godzilla’
‘Quick Fade’
‘Find the Colour’
‘Love Pollution’
‘Moonshine’
‘High’
‘Feeling a Moment’ (with Mark Richardson on drums)
‘Pushing the Senses’ (with Mark Richardson on drums)
‘Feel It Again’
‘Opaque’
‘Buck Rogers’
‘Just a Day’

As well as announcing this current tour, February this year also saw Feeder announce a re-release of the ‘Comfort In Sound’ album. It dropped on September 12 via BMG, and included new orchestral remixes of ‘Just The Way I’m Feeling’ and ‘Forget About Tomorrow’, as well as a reimagining of ‘Godzilla II’.

The current 2025 tour continues next month, with shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Bristol and Birmingham, on October 2, 3, 9, and 11, respectively. Visit here for tickets.

As aforementioned, the 2002 release was their first album was their first without Jon Lee, who died by suicide in January 2002, aged 33. His death came shortly after the band finished a tour supporting Stereophonics across Europe, and numerous famous faces from the music world paid their respects at his funeral.

The Social Network Follow-Up to Star Jeremy Strong As Mark Zuckerberg

The Social Network Follow-Up to Star Jeremy Strong As Mark Zuckerberg

by jummy84 September 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Facebook doesn’t look anything like it did in 2010 when “The Social Network” came out, and now neither does Mark Zuckerberg. Though some names had been floating around in the trades, Sony Pictures confirmed that “Succession” star Jeremy Strong, not Jesse Eisenberg, will portray Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin’s follow-up to “The Social Network.”

Also announced on Friday: a title for the new film, a release date, and the cast announcement. The film is called “The Social Reckoning,” which is being written and directed this time by Sorkin. It will open in theaters on October 9, 2026. And alongside Strong, who is actually billed third among the cast list, Mikey Madison, Jeremy Allen White, and Bill Burr will all star.

It’s a helluva cast, with Madison still riding high off “Anora” and White and Strong about to share the screen in “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere,” the Bruce Springsteen biopic.

Sorkin’s original screenplay for “The Social Reckoning” tells the true story of how Frances Haugen (Madison), a young Facebook engineer, enlists the help of Jeff Horwitz (White), a Wall Street Journal reporter, to go on a dangerous journey that ends up blowing the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets.

Todd Black, Peter Rice, Sorkin and Stuart Besser are producing the film.

“The Social Reckoning” is opening the same day as a Jessica Chastain horror film called “Other Mommy” and one of the “Avatar: The Last Airbender” animated films.

Sorkin has been teasing a follow-up to “The Social Network” since 2024 and has publicly said that he blames Facebook for the January 6 insurrection on Capitol Hill. And while this screenplay is considered original, the last time we wrote about the film, he was said to be inspired by some Wall Street Journal articles called The Facebook Files that showed some of the special rules Facebook execs had and that it was aware of its toxic effect on teens and on the emotional toll it had on friends and families with differing views — and algorithms.

“The Social Network” was directed by David Fincher and written by Sorkin, and it earned a Best Picture nomination and a Best Actor nomination for Eisenberg’s calculated performance as the Facebook founder. Sorkin though won Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars among the film’s three statues. It made $224.9 million worldwide.

Parent-to-be Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha get goofy in Paris as they mark 2nd marriage anniversary

by jummy84 September 24, 2025
written by jummy84

Actor Parineeti Chopra added a dash of humour while wishing her husband and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha on their marriage anniversary. She began her post by pointing out his little mistake, playfully adding that it’s her duty as a wife to set it right.

Parineeti Chopra got married to Raghav Chadha in 2023.

Parineeti’s post for Raghav

Parineeti, who is expecting her first baby with Raghav, took to Instagram to wish Raghav on their marriage anniversary. And the post came with a lot of wit and love.

She shared some images in which Parineeti and Raghav are posing together on a street in Paris. Raghav is wearing a black T-shirt with text “I (heart emoji) Paris”, paired with beige trousers and white sneakers.

Meanwhile, Parineeti, dressed in black athleisure wear with white sneakers, a white cap, and sunglasses, is playfully covering the letter “I” from “Paris” on his T-shirt, making it read “I (heart emoji) Pari” – a sweet nod to her nickname. Both of them are smiling and look joyful in the pictures.

“As a wife, it was my duty to fix the mistake (laughing emoji),” Parineeti began in her caption.

The actor continued, “Happy anniversary my Ragaii! The love of my life, my pagluu friend, my calm and composed husband – can’t wait to do the rest of my life with you (evil eye emoji).”

On the other hand, Raghav took to his Instagram handle to share his take on the pictures. “Breaking: Wife refuses to let husband love anything more than her, even cities… Happy Anniversary to the girl who makes every place feel like home,” Raghav wrote as caption.

Fans loved their banter on social media. “True love isn’t loud, it’s steady. You two are the epitome of that. There’s nothing better than watching your love for each other flourish and grow each year. Happy anniversary to the wonderful power couple,” one wrote. “Nice jodi,” another shared, with one mentioning, “Haha.. so cute.. Happy anniversary.”

More about Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha

After dating for several years, Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot on September 24 2023. The duo had a private wedding at The Leela Palace, Udaipur, Rajasthan. Parineeti’s aunt and Priyanka Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra attended the wedding. It was also attended by Arvind Kejriwal, Aaditya Thackeray, Bhagwant Mann, Manish Malhotra, Harbhajan Singh and Sania Mirza.

The couple faced massive trolling for hosting a lavish wedding. Later, they came forward to dismiss the buzz, calling it a wrong narrative. “If I had married an actor, producer, or businessman, people would have said, ‘Wow! This actress had such a grand wedding. That’s how it should be.’ But since I married a politician, the narrative suddenly became that he alone bore all the expenses and couldn’t afford such a lavish ceremony. This mindset of trolling and investigation is more prominent among voters and fans. In my world, people celebrate our happiness, but Raghav’s world tends to be more critical,” Parineeti said when she joined Rajat Sharma on an episode of Aap Ki Adalat.

Last month, Parineeti and Raghav took to Instagram to announce that they are having their first baby.

Mark Ruffalo Says Disney Stock Will Drop if Jimmy Kimmel Live! Cancels

by jummy84 September 21, 2025
written by jummy84

Mark Ruffalo is speaking out again on Jimmy Kimmel‘s suspension by ABC.

Ruffalo took to Threads on Saturday to re-share a post that alleged Disney‘s stock price has dropped seven percent following the late night talk show being suspended earlier this week.

“It’s going to go down a lot further if they cancel his show,” Ruffalo wrote. “Disney does not want to be the ones that broke America.”

On Wednesday, ABC announced that Jimmy Kimmel Live! was preempted indefinitely following the host’s comments about Charlie Kirk’s murder and the shooting suspect. “We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it,” Kimmel said during his opening monologue on Monday night.

Following the suspension, Ruffalo previously spoke out about Kimmel in a No Kings online event. “My industry doesn’t really understand what’s happening right now, but what they do understand is our freedom of speech is being attacked,” he said. Several other Marvel stars like Pedro Pascal, Marisa Tomei, and Tatiana Maslany also spoke out after the news broke.

The four-time Oscar-nominated actor has famously appeared as Bruce Banner/the Hulk in many of Disney’s MCU projects, such as The Avengers films, Thor: Ragnarok, She Hulk and more. Next up, he’s set to be in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will hit theaters July 31, 2026.

Earlier this month, Ruffalo spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about reprising his role and how he’s looking forward to working with Jon Bernthal, who plays the Punisher. “If I’m doing that — which the rumors are that I am, once I get a script, I’ll know it’s real — but I love him and we have a common friend in Lena Dunham, believe it or not, (laughs) who just adores him,” Ruffalo said. “I can’t wait to work with him, he’s so funny and he’s such a great actor. He plays that character like nobody else. I’m really excited to meet him, I’ve never met him!”

Pulp's Mark Webber announces "in conversation" UK book tour

Pulp’s Mark Webber announces “in conversation” UK book tour

by jummy84 September 20, 2025
written by jummy84

Pulp guitarist Mark Webber has announced an “in conversation” UK book tour for I’m With Pulp – Are You?

Published last September, I’m With Pulp, Are You? sees Webber gather his extensive collection of ephemera and objects, accumulated over 40 years with the band, and present it to fans to create a one-of-a-kind insight into the group.

It serves as a visual history of Pulp, as told through photos, flyers, record covers, setlists, badges, posters, press clippings, merchandise and more, and comes with a foreword from frontman Jarvis Cocker, who describes Webber as a “hoarder” as well as the band’s “first fan” and their “first tour manager” before he joined as a member in 1995.

Now, Webber has announced a book tour, set to commence when the band’s current North American tour wraps up at the end of this month.

The tour will also see him celebrate the 30th anniversary of their classic 1995 album ‘Different Class’. It kicks off on October 5 in Lincoln, before heading to St Albans, Hebden Bridge, Manchester, Pontefract, Birmingham, Nottingham, Sheffield, Swansea and Portsmouth. Tickets are now on sale and available here.

When the Pulp tour is over … I’ll be travelling around the UK to talk about my book “I’m With Pulp, Are You?”, the 30th anniversary of “Different Class”, and all things @welovepulp. Info and tickets at https://t.co/6PNl14jk8M pic.twitter.com/YKFJS9mAef

— I’m with Pulp (@imwithpulp) September 19, 2025

NME spoke to Webber following the book’s release, and he reflected on Cocker’s comments that he was the band’s “first fan”, saying: “I don’t think I can claim to the first fan, but definitely one of the few in that period of the mid-to-late ‘80s.”

“There were not many people interested,” he added. “It was around 1991 that the group started to become a bit better organised and function a bit more seriously. Because I had shown some kind of entrepreneurial skills in organising concerts and making fanzines when I was a teenager when I was also carrying equipment around for them, either Russell or the band asked me if I would be the tour manager.

“What teenage fan would refuse that opportunity to hang around with your favourite band and carry their equipment up and down rickety wooden staircases all through the night?”

In June, Pulp released their eighth album ’More’, their first full-length record in 24 years. In a four-star review, NME concluded: “Drenched in synths and strings and aided by producer James Ford’s knack for making the music feel alive and omnipresent, ‘More’ is everything you’d want a Pulp album to be, made richer from some lived experience.

“Just as Blur did with ‘The Ballad Of Darren’ and Suede have managed on their immaculate run of post-reunion albums, Pulp have retained their original spirit and flair into a statement of middle age without feeling any less vital. As Cocker pines on the cinematic closer ‘A Sunset’, all things end, so just make the most of the time you have. It’s strangely beautiful, now they’re all fully grown.”

They went on to play a ‘You Deserve More’ UK arena tour this summer, as well as a triumphant and badly-kept “secret” set at Glastonbury 2025.

NME was at the Glastonbury set, awarding it five stars and noting: “With songs for the mis-shapes, a whole lotta ‘L-O-V-E’ and even a Red Arrows fly-past for the glorious crowd-engulfing ‘Common People’, these legends capture the spirit of these hallowed grounds with a little peace, love and joyous wonky-pop hedonism. One for the books? Sure, but as Cocker puts it: ‘History and stuff like that doesn’t matter because it’s all about now and what we can do right now’.”

Elsewhere, they recently announced a reissue of their classic 1995 album ‘Different Class’, including the first ever release of their Glastonbury 1995 performance.

Mark Hoppus Stars in People R Ugly’s New ‘Wake Up’ Music Video

by jummy84 September 18, 2025
written by jummy84

Blink-182’s Mark Hoppus serves as the worst high school talent show MC in the hilarious new video for People R Ugly’s “Wake Up.” The track is set to appear on the up-and-coming indie-pop outfit’s debut album, Garage, out Oct. 24 via Verswire.

The video opens with an extended bit featuring Hoppus as a school principal doing an awful job shepherding a talent show along. There are lots of corny puns, poorly-thought-out linguistic choices, and a hot mic to capture the awkward hype-up speech he gives an anxious performer, played by People R Ugly drummer Tristan Kevitch.

“When you get nervous, just imagine everyone out there completely naked,” Principal Hoppus rambles. “Especially second row, Miss Stacy, Home Ec teacher. You know that song ‘All the Small Things’? She’s got some big ones. Been there, done that, I know what I’m talking about.”

From there, the video takes on a Napoleon Dynamite-esque quality, with Kevitch performing an awkward, endearing, and elaborate dance routine to “Wake Up.” Things take a turn halfway through when some light pyrotechnics wind up setting the entire auditorium on fire. But even amidst the chaos of the conflagration, there’s still a ton of dancing going on, and the video’s end seems to suggest the whole thing was all a fantasy as Kevitch’s routine comes to a close and the crowd erupts in applause.

People R Ugly wrote “Wake Up” during a songwriting retreat in Oakhurst, a small mountain town in California. While they were there, frontman Zak Dossi told Rolling Stone, they spent their nights at a bar that “painted the perfect visual for the song.”

Of “Wake Up” and its video, he continued, “It’s about locking eyes with someone on the dancefloor and realizing, ‘Even if I wake up, I’ll still be dreaming.’ Shooting the video with Mark was unreal — all of the dialogue was improv, and it gave the whole thing this raw unpredictable vibe.”

Trending Stories

People R Ugly have enjoyed a big couple of years since 2023, when they released their breakthrough singles “What’s Up?” and “Brain Dead,” and dropped a self-titled EP. Since then, they’ve continued to share scattered singles while also making a name for themselves as a live act, including a big set at Lollapalooza earlier this summer.

Garage marks the band’s proper debut album, and as its title suggests, it was recorded in the garage of Dossi’s home in Orange County, California. “This project is unlike anything we’ve ever made before,” the band said in a statement. “We had a blast experimenting, messing around, and pushing ourselves in new directions, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. We hope it makes you laugh, cry, dance, mosh, and maybe even smile at a surprise feature you won’t see coming.”

Emilia Clarke’s Brain Aneurysm

Emilia Clarke filmed battle scenes for Game of Thrones, but in 2019, she published an essay in The New Yorker titled “A Battle for My Life.”

Having a bad headache at the gym, “I reached the toilet, sank to my knees, and proceeded to be violently, voluminously ill,” the actress wrote. “Meanwhile, the pain—shooting, stabbing, constricting pain—was getting worse. At some level, I knew what was happening: my brain was damaged.”

She was taken to the hospital for a brain scan.

“The diagnosis was quick and ominous: a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), a life-threatening type of stroke, caused by bleeding into the space surrounding the brain,” the Emmy nominee added. “I’d had an aneurysm, an arterial rupture.”

Emilia had immediate surgery to seal the aneurysm, calling the pain “unbearable.” While she was recovering, she continued, she experienced aphasia and was “muttering nonsense.”

A week later, “the aphasia passed,” Emilia added, and she left the hospital a month after being admitted.

At a 2013 brain scan, she learned a growth “doubled in size” and that she needed surgery again.

“When they woke me, I was screaming in pain,” she wrote. “The procedure had failed. I had a massive bleed and the doctors made it plain that my chances of surviving were precarious if they didn’t operate again. This time they needed to access my brain in the old-fashioned way—through my skull.”

Thankfully, Emilia shared, she’s now “at a hundred per cent.”

Charlie Kirk: A Controversial Voice Whose Legacy Leaves a Mark
Hollywood

Charlie Kirk: A Controversial Voice Whose Legacy Leaves a Mark

by jummy84 September 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was more than just a political activist.

He was a figure who shaped conversations, sparked debates, and built a following that stretched across college campuses and social media platforms. His sudden death following the tragic shooting in Utah has left a ripple of shock not only in political circles but also among young Americans who grew up seeing his name trend almost daily.

Born in 1993 in the suburbs of Chicago, Kirk rose from obscurity to national attention in less than a decade. In 2012, at just 18 years old, he founded Turning Point USA, an organization dedicated to mobilizing young conservatives. What started as a small project quickly grew into a powerhouse with thousands of campus chapters across the country. To his supporters, Kirk was a fearless advocate for free markets, limited government, and traditional values. To his critics, he was a polarizing voice who thrived on culture-war clashes and headline-grabbing soundbites.

Kirk’s ability to tap into the energy of Gen Z and millennials was undeniable. He mastered the art of podcasting, live events, and social media clips that traveled faster than news broadcasts. His Turning Point conferences drew big names, from senators to former presidents, and gave thousands of students access to the type of political networking that usually lives behind closed doors.

But what stood out about Charlie Kirk was not just his career but also the personal side that those close to him highlighted after his passing. Friends and colleagues describe him as deeply committed to his faith and family. Married to former Miss Arizona USA Erika Frantzve, Kirk became a father of two young children in recent years, a role he often said was his most important legacy. In interviews, he admitted that while politics was his passion, his greatest joy came from raising a family and building a future outside the spotlight.

The tragic circumstances of his death have triggered a nationwide conversation about political violence and its dangerous rise. Leaders across the political spectrum have condemned the attack, emphasizing that disagreements should never spill over into such acts. Candlelight vigils and memorials have taken place in Arizona, Utah, and beyond, where supporters remember not just a controversial political figure but a man who dared to step onto the stage young, untested, and unapologetic.

Charlie Kirk’s story is ultimately one of ambition, risk, and the power of ideas in the digital age. Whether you agreed or disagreed with his views, it is impossible to deny his influence. He built an organization from scratch, gave young conservatives a platform, and became a household name before his 30th birthday. His loss leaves an empty space in American political life, one that will fuel debates, inspire tributes, and remind many of both the promise and peril of being a public figure in today’s divided world.
