Ariana Grande rushed at ‘Wicked’ premiere by same man who charged at Katy Perry – National

A man charged at Ariana Grande while she walked the yellow brick road carpet at the Singapore premiere of her new movie Wicked: For Good on Thursday.

In footage of the interaction captured on TikTok, the man appears to have jumped over a barricade as Grande signed autographs while walking along the carpet at Universal Studios Singapore, alongside co-stars Cynthia Erivo, Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum.

The man then sprinted over to Grande and threw his arm around her, jumping up and down excitedly while waving at the crowd. Erivo quickly intervened, pulling them apart just before security stepped in and escorted him off the carpet.

Grande looked visibly shaken in the video and took a deep breath as Erivo hugged her once the man was gone.

The man, identified as Johnson Wen, calls himself a “prankster” on his TikTok account, where he shared the footage.

“Dear Ariana Grande Thanks for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You #wicked,” Wen wrote in his caption.

Wen recently stormed onstage and put his arm around Katy Perry during a concert in Sydney, Australia, in June.

Perry was performing her hit song Hot N Cold at the Qudos Bank Arena when Wen rushed onto the stage and began dancing beside her.

The 41-year-old singer looked visibly shocked in a video shared to social media as the man tried to put his arm around her and jumped up and down on stage — similar to his actions with Grande.

Wen then started dancing by himself after Perry spun around to distance herself from him and continued to sing. As he performed the “floss” dance move, security approached him from both sides and escorted him off stage.

“There’s never going to be another show like this, so just enjoy it, Sydney,” Perry said into her microphone as security grabbed the man. “What the hell is going on?”

Police in New South Wales told NBC News that the man had been arrested and charged with two offences, including entering enclosed land and obstructing a person in performance of work or duties.

Wen hasn’t just approached Perry and Grande; he’s shared previous videos of himself running onstage during The Weeknd’s concert in Melbourne last year and running onto the field at the FIFA Women’s World Cup final in 2023.

When asked how he keeps getting past security after the incident, Wen told Australia’s 9News it was “Magic. Just kidding, I’m just too quick.”

Wen said he has racked up an estimated $20,000 in fines over his stage-invading antics.

“I’m planning to like quit forever because you get in way too much trouble for it,” he added.

It’s not immediately clear if he’ll face charges for the incident in Singapore.

Raj & DK Open Up About Manoj Bajpayee and Jaideep Ahlawat’s Clash in The Family Man 3

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

The Family Man is officially coming back with its third season and we will once again see Manoj Bajpayee reprise his role as the fan-favourite spy, Srikant Tiwari. However, this season will see him face more challenges as he is on the verge of getting arrested!

This return marks another milestone for its creators, Raj & DK, also known for Farzi and Citadel Honey Bunny. The new season promises to be the biggest and most challenging yet, not just professionally for Srikant but also in terms of the show’s setting.

This time, Srikant’s mission moves eastward, into unfamiliar terrain and dangerous new territory. Speaking about the meticulous planning and the long-anticipated arc, Krishna DK shared, “It’s been building up for a while, and we’ve put our hearts into it. We had already announced at the end of season two that the North-East is where we want to go with the next season. So we were clear about that. The location, the people, and the culture are all part of the DNA of the show, whichever season you pick. Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and all these places in season three, you need that energy from the place.”

The core of the excitement, however, lies in the intense rivalry that the creators have cooked up for Srikant this time around. Season 3 brings a monumental clash of talent, featuring a high-octane face-off that is already sending fan anticipation soaring.

Family Man

Sharing his enthusiasm for the clash between Manoj Bajpayee’s Srikant and Jaideep Ahlawat’s Rukma in the new season Raj Nidimoru expressed, “Manoj and Jaideep are coming together, two stalwarts of Indian cinema. Really top actors.” Jaideep Ahlawat’s antagonist, Rukma, is designed as a dark reflection of our beloved TASC agent. His character presents a threat that is deeply personal and ideologically opposite to Srikant, pushing him to his absolute limit. Raj further elaborated on this compelling character parallel, noting, “Rukma became the main character, the main antagonist, where he is almost the opposite of Srikant; he also has a girlfriend and a kid, a sort of a ‘non-family’ family.”

The Family Man 3 also stars Sharib Hashmi and Priyamani among others. The third season will start streaming globally on Prime Video from November 21.

“It matters who pressed the shutter.” Netflix has debuted an official trailer for an acclaimed documentary film titled The Stringer: The Man Who Took The Photo, which first premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. The film is a fascinating deep-dive investigation in who exactly deserves the credit for taking a famous photo during the Vietnam War. The photo in question is the iconic “The Terror of War” shot with a screaming young girl published by the NY Times in 1972. A former Saigon photo editor reveals a secret he’s been plagued with for ~52 years – setting off a gripping two-year investigation into the truth behind one of the Vietnam War’s most iconic photos. Acclaimed conflict photographer Gary Knight and a small team of journalists embark upon a relentless search to locate and seek justice for a man known only as “the stringer” – a local Vietnamese photographer named Nguyen Thanh Nghe. This doc is a look into his story, the rest of his life, and how the photo was attributed to another photographer in the first place. Nguyen Thanh Nghe was also in attendance at the Sundance premiere, where he stated: “I took the photo.”

Official trailer for Bao Nguyen’s doc The Stringer: The Man Who Took The Photo, from YouTube:

The Stringer: The Man Who Took The Photo Doc Trailer

📸 Based on the Vietnam War photograph “The Terror of War” (originally taken on June 8th, 1972), more commonly referred to as Napalm Girl, depicting Phan Thi Kim Phuc running from a napalm attack, the documentary film questions whether it was credited to the correct photographer. It presents a two-year investigation on the matter, arguing that a photo stringer named Nguyen Thanh Nghe actually took it rather than the officially credited photographer Nick Ut who sold the shot to the Associated Press. The Stringer: The Man Who Took The Photo, aka simply The Stringer, is directed by Vietnamese American doc filmmaker Bao Nguyen, director of the doc films Live from New York!, Be Water, and The Greatest Night in Pop previously, plus TV series including “Open Secrets”. It’s produced by Fiona Turner, Terri Lichstein. This initially premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. Netflix will debut Nguyen’s The Stringer doc streaming on Netflix worldwide starting November 28th, 2025 this fall. Who’s interested?

The Running Man review: Glen Powell proves a charismatic hero in Edgar Wright's patchy remake

The Running Man review: Glen Powell proves a charismatic hero

by jummy84 November 12, 2025
written by jummy84

A star rating of 3 out of 5.

On-the-rise action man Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick, Twisters) takes on a role originally played on screen by his Expendables 3 co-star Arnold Schwarzenegger in this explosive, big-budget remake of the 1987 thriller.

Set in a dystopian, totalitarian United States where violent television programmes have become the opium of the people, the original film was based on a 1982 novel by Stephen King (under his Richard Bachman pseudonym), but co-writer/director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Last Night in Soho) has opted to stay even closer to the source material for his adaptation.

So, instead of Arnie’s Ben Richards being a cop coerced to participate in the game, Powell’s Richards is a working-class Everyman living in an overcrowded slum, whose frustration with his inability to hold down a job and look after his waitress wife and their ailing toddler forces him to volunteer for the financially lucrative if lethal Running Man TV show.

Avoid capture for 30 days and $1 billion is the ultimate reward. However, contestants are also hunted across the United States by an elite team of assassins led by a merciless masked mystery man. The action is televised to an audience happy to dob them in to the authorities for a slice of the financial pie, all under the auspices of ever-smirking network CEO and smug puppet-master Dan Killian (Josh Brolin).

Read more:

Killian and motor-mouthed MC Bobby T (Colman Domingo) consider Richards a ratings winner, especially when he continues to evade his murderous pursuers and their ever-present drone cameras, and then survives by the skin of his teeth when they do get close, as in one fiery encounter at a down-at-heel Boston hotel. However, could Richards’s resilience and apoplectic defiance inspire something other than bloodlust from viewers and threaten their best-laid corporate plans?

No stranger to delivering breakneck action (Hot Fuzz, Baby Driver), Wright produces plenty of nerve-jangling, kinetic set-pieces, whether it is a deadly game of chicken on a bridge or the climactic airborne stand-off. The fact the deadly contest takes place across the US (rather than a murky underground labyrinth as seen in the 1987 movie) also expands the scope of the story, revealing an America riven by economic inequality and manipulated by a self-satisfied few who have no qualms about using fake news to control the narrative.

A similar theme fuels The Long Walk – released earlier this year, and also based on an early King story – in which televised survival of the fittest is used to distract ordinary folk from their impoverished plight. It’s the type of allegory that Wright’s director idol George A Romero (of Night of the Living Dead fame) would have applauded.

However, the episodic nature of the plot, with Richards having to don a variety of disguises to lay low and avoid recognition, occasionally leads to a lull in the pace and a lessening of tension.

Nevertheless, Powell proves to be a charismatic hero, bristling with anger but also able to stay alive thanks to his own ingenuity and much-needed assistance from those he meets on his travels, such as cameoing William H Macy, Emilia Jones (CODA) and Michael Cera (star of Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs the World), whose mercurial rebel lives in an elaborately booby-trapped bolt-hole worthy of Rambo.

Oh, and regarding cameos, keep your eyes peeled for a left-field appearance from Schwarzenegger himself.

The Running Man is released in UK cinemas on Wednesday 12th November 2025.

Rowan Atkinson Gets into More Trouble in ‘Man vs Baby’ Series Trailer

“Whose baby is this?” Netflix has revealed a fun official trailer for Man vs Baby, the follow-up series to Rowan Atkinson’s other comedy series Man vs Bee from 2022. Atkinson is best known as either Mr. Bean or Johnny English – after moving on from those characters he is now playing “Trevor Bingley”. This holiday comedy looks quite funny. After a disastrous experience housesitting a high-tech mansion hampered by an inconvenient insect in Man vs Bee, Trevor now finds himself looking after a luxurious London penthouse, with another unlikely companion he didn’t ask for… On the last day of term at his school job, when no one comes to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor finds himself with another undersized and very unexpected companion. With a penthouse to protect & a baby to burp, will he be able to have the calm Christmas he hopes for, or will festivities descend into chaos? This stars Rowan Atkinson with Alanah Bloor and Joseph Balderrama. And one cute baby. Or maybe two cute babies?! Ha… This actually looks like a good time – better than most streaming Christmas comedies they’re making these days. Have a laugh.

Here’s the first official trailer for Rowan Atkinson’s series Man vs Baby, direct from Netflix’s YouTube:

After a job looking after a high-tech mansion ended in disaster thanks to an irritating insect in Man vs Bee, Trevor Bingley (Rowan Atkinson) has left the stressful world of housesitting for the quieter life of a school caretaker. That is, until a lucrative offer to look after a luxury London penthouse over Christmas proves too tempting to resist. But on the last day of term, when no one comes to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor finds himself with another undersized and very unexpected companion. With a penthouse to protect and a baby to burp, will Trevor be able to have the calm Christmas he hopes for, or will festivities descend into chaos? Man vs Baby is a comedy series created and written by British comedy masterminds Rowan Atkinson and William Davies (also creator of “Man vs Bee”, “The Letter for the King”; writer on Puss in Boots, Lyle Lyle Crocodile, How to Train Your Dragon, Johnny English movies). Featuring episodes directed by David Kerr. Produced by Kate Fasulo; executive produced by Chris Clark and William Davies. Netflix will release Rowan Atkinson’s Man vs Baby comedy series streaming on Netflix worldwide starting December 11th, 2025 before the end of the year. Anyone want to watch this?

bitchy | Donald Trump stood by blankly as a man collapsed in the Oval Office

by jummy84 November 8, 2025
written by jummy84

There was another bonkers “press conference” in the Oval Office yesterday. They organize these pressers because Donny Dementia can’t move his dinosaur butt to the actual Press Room and they’re also too lazy to actually stage these events in another room. So they allow Donny to doze off, with his wig askance, behind the Resolute Desk, while his staff make bonkers announcements.

Yesterday’s presser was supposed to feature Robert Kennedy Jr., Dr. Oz and various pharma CEOs as they announced lowering the prices on GLPs. Just as Dr. Oz and others were railing about obesity and dementia – as Trump dozed off – one of the men collapsed in the Oval. Kennedy hauled ass out of there as Oz and some of the other men attended to the now unconscious man. Meanwhile, Trump stood up from the desk and just… did nothing. Just stood there, staring into space blankly. Reportedly, the guy who collapsed is doing okay. No mention if Trump was still standing there blankly. Kennedy did make it known that he wasn’t getting the hell out of Dodge, he was actually getting a chair and a cold compress, or so he says.
