How Long Have Amanda Batula & West Wilson Been Together? – Hollywood Life

Summer House co-stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson finally confirmed their relationship after dating rumors circulated online for weeks. The Bravo stars wrote a joint public statement on March 31, 2026, acknowledging that they “never” intended to “purposely hide anything,” but “this is still very new” to them. So, how long have they been dating?

Here’s everything we know so far about Amanda and West’s relationship.

Why Did Amanda Batula & Kyle Cooke Break Up?

As Summer House fans recall, Amanda and her estranged husband, Kyle Cooke, announced their separation in January 2026 — two months before she and West went public with their “very new” relationship.

Amanda and Kyle said they “mutually and amicably decided” to break up in a joint public statement they shared to their Instagram Stories in January 2026.

“After much reflection, we have mutually and amicably decided to part ways as a couple,” the now-former couple wrote at the time. “We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing.”

Kyle and Amanda added, “It feels ironic to ask for privacy during this time since we’ve always tried to be open and honest about our relationship, but your kindness and respect will go a long way as we try to navigate our next chapter.”

Although Kyle had admittedly cheated on Amanda in the past, they did not cite infidelity as the reason behind their split.

Just a few weeks later, Kyle appeared on Watch What Happens Live and was asked about the rumors between Amanda and West. Kyle said he believed the speculation was “outrageous,” and he thought there was no “merit” to the rumors.

“It would certainly catch me by surprise and feel a little reckless,” he admitted. “I think Ciara [Miller] would probably have something to say.”

When Did West Wilson & Ciara Miller Date?

West and Ciara briefly dated in 2023 when he joined Summer House, and they broke up by December of that year. They never explained why they split, but West was open about his commitment struggles on the show.

Amanda and West said in their joint March 2026 statement that their relationship is “very new,” and their connection had “developed recently.” So, the exact timeline of their romance is still unclear, but Amanda and West were friends before falling for each other.

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” the newfound couple wrote in their joint Instagram Stories statement. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we need a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

The pair added that they’ve “shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected.” They also emphasized that their “connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”

“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” Amanda and West continued. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

Travel without back pain: Tips for long flights, road trips, how to carry luggage and more

by jummy84 December 6, 2025
written by jummy84

There’s nothing quite like the thrill of a new destination, the excitement of airports, and the open road ahead. But let’s be honest, the fun can quickly fade when your back starts acting up. Long flights in economy, hours on the road, or dragging heavy luggage can leave your spine aching, turning what should be a joyful experience into a discomfort-filled ordeal.

Traveller stretches on a plane, lumbar support in place, luggage nearby, enjoying a journey without back strain or discomfort.(Ai generated)

Top tips to help you avoid back pain while travelling

Dr Arun Bhanot, Director of Spine Surgery at CK Birla Hospital, Gurugram, gives practical tips for keeping back pain at bay while travelling. His advice is simple and actionable, perfect for anyone who wants to enjoy their trip without worrying about their spine.

1. Plan for comfort before you leave

Preparation makes all the difference. Wear supportive shoes and loose, comfortable clothing. Keep a lumbar pillow or back brace in your carry-on for easy access. On flights, choose seats with extra legroom if possible, and in cars, the front passenger seat gives more space to adjust and stretch.

2. Maintain good posture on long flights

Aeroplane seats are rarely kind to your spine. Use a rolled-up jacket or travel pillow behind your lower back to maintain natural alignment. Keep feet flat on the floor and avoid crossing legs. Adjust your seat angle periodically and try small stretches in your seat to prevent stiffness.

3. Move often

Remaining seated for long periods increases tension and pressure on your back. Stand up, walk along the aisle or stretch every 30 to 60 minutes. Shoulder rolls, ankle circles, and gentle back twists help keep muscles flexible and ready to move when you land.

4. Support your spine on road trips

Car journeys can be deceptively tough on the back. Adjust your seat so hips and knees are level, and use a cushion for lower back support if needed. Stop every hour to walk and stretch. Keep your hands comfortably on the wheel to avoid hunching or leaning forward.

5. Lift luggage smartly

Back strain often comes from lifting heavy bags incorrectly. Bend your knees, hold luggage close to your body, and avoid twisting while lifting. Wheeled suitcases, backpacks with padded straps, or dividing weight into multiple lighter bags can prevent unnecessary strain.

6. Use supportive travel gear

A lumbar cushion, neck pillow, or compression socks can make a surprising difference. For long trips, a small massage ball or portable heating pad helps release tight muscles during stops.

7. Stay hydrated and stretch

Dehydration worsens muscle tension, so drink water often. Gentle stretches for the hamstrings, hip flexors, and lower back counteract the effects of long periods of sitting and keep your body ready to move.

Travel doesn’t need to come with a sore back. With a few adjustments, mindful movement, and smart travel gear, you can enjoy your flights, road trips, and luggage handling comfortably, keeping your spine happy from start to finish.

Simple habits like good posture, regular stretching, and smart luggage choices can make all the difference. A little preparation ensures your back stays comfortable, leaving you free to focus on the joys of your trip.

HBO Doc ‘Wizkid: Long Live Lagos’ Trailer About the Nigerian Musician

“Look, it’s our time. Listen to us now.” HBO has revealed an official trailer for a documentary film called Wizkid: Long Live Lagos, arriving for streaming to watch starting this December. It’s one of the next offerings in HBO’s ongoing Music Box doc series, which debuted on HBO back in 2021, a collection of documentary films exploring pivotal moments in the music world. “A symbol of hope in Nigeria.” 🇳🇬 Wizkid: Long Live Lagos explores how art and music have the power to change global perception and awareness through the story of Nigerian superstar Wizkid (real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun) as he prepares for his groundbreaking performance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England (his show in 2023). One of the most successful African musicians of all time, Wizkid’s talent & authenticity transcend borders and brings African music to the world stage, challenging the stereotypes in Western media and reclaiming African identity. The doc features appearances by Femi Anikulapo-Kuti, Jada Pollock, Julie Adenuga, Seni Saraki, Starboy, Karen Binns, and Tops, his tour manager. Worth a watch if you’re a Wizkid fan – or not yet.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for HBO Music Box’s doc Wizkid: Long Live Lagos, from YouTube:

Wizkid: Long Live Lagos Poster

Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Wizkid rose from his humble beginnings to become an influential, internationally recognized Grammy-winning musician. With no music industry infrastructure in Nigeria, he was fueled by raw talent, determination, and his belief that success would not only change his and his family’s lives, but also the global perception of Nigeria and the continent of Africa. Wizkid’s story takes us across Africa & London, meeting fans & friends who support him, and exploring the extensive, complex history between the United Kingdom and Nigeria and the aftermath of its colonial past. While the internet and streaming platforms enable world music to smash through borders, Wizkid also uses his voice to challenge colonial legacies, and shift the narrative to offer a fuller picture of present-day Africa and its cultural influence. As the first African artist to headline Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Wizkid’s stardom underscores how global recognition is a form of rebellion, a key way to amplify and honor both African culture and African pride.

Wizkid: Long Live Lagos is directed by producer / filmmaker filmmaker Karam Gill, director of the films G-Funk, Ice Cold, and Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby. Produced by Karam Gill and Daniel Malikyar. Part of the Music Box series for HBO. Executive produced by Bill Simmons, Jody Gerson, Marc Cimino, Nancy Abraham, Lisa Heller, Tina Nguyen This initially premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. HBO will debut Wizkid: Long Live Lagos streaming on HBO Max starting on December 11th, 2025.

The Long Walk Oscars Submissions, Supporting Actor

by jummy84 November 15, 2025
written by jummy84

Lionsgate is going with a smart awards strategy in hopes of becoming a dark horse Oscar contender.

Francis Lawrence’s “The Long Walk” will campaign its entire principal cast of boys — including Cooper Hoffman and David Jonsson — in the supporting acting categories across all major awards bodies, Variety has learned exclusively.

The Lionsgate dystopian drama, adapted by JT Mollner from Stephen King’s early novel, hinges on the emotional dynamics among a group of teenage competitors forced to walk until only one remains. The filmmakers believe the film’s power lies not in traditional leads but in the collective experience — a choice they think is best reflected by submitting the ensemble together.

Though Hoffman’s Raymond Garraty (No. 47) and Jonsson’s Peter McVries (No. 23) may appear to anchor the narrative, the film will place all nine boys in supporting categories across the Oscars, Golden Globes, Screen Actors Guild Awards, BAFTA and the Independent Spirit Awards. Judy Greer, who plays a pivotal adult figure in the story, will also be campaigned in supporting actress races.

Submitting the entire cast together highlights the filmmakers’ confidence in casting director Rich Delia, whose work stitching together a cohesive ensemble of emerging talent is expected to be a focal point of the campaign. The young actors deliver varied responses to the story’s brutal marathon.

With its ensemble-driven structure and bold category placements, “The Long Walk” joins the growing trend of awards hopefuls challenging traditional definitions of lead and supporting roles.

Along with the ensemble campaign, “The Long Walk” will compete in all major craft and above-the-line categories, including:

Long hours sitting at office causing back pain? Study suggests a simple routine that may bring relief

by jummy84 November 14, 2025
written by jummy84

Does your lower back cramp up after sitting for long hours at the office? Desk-bound jobs usually involve very long hours sitting in one position. So it is no surprise when the body eventually protests, showing up with complaints in different ways, including weight gain or a severe backache. Back pain is one of the most immediate effects of prolonged sitting. This leaves many wondering how often they should stand, and if there’s any specific interval that lowers the pain better.

ALSO READ: Spine surgeon warns Indians not to ignore back pain until it’s too late, reveals who all ‘should be extra careful’

A study published in the journal of Applied Ergonomics put all the guesswork to rest by suggesting an interval that may help ease back pain more for office workers.

What did the study find?

The researchers wanted to identify which sit-stand routine alleviates back pain. They compared two methods. The first one was a fixed routine where everyone followed the same rule of 30 minutes sitting and 15 minutes standing. The second was personalised, which determined the person, choosing their own timing based on when their back aches.

The results showed that those who followed the 30:15 routine had reduced back pain and reported better concentration, lower stress. However, when the study participants followed their personalised timings, the improvements were very slight.

At work, sit for 30 minutes and stand for 15 minutes. (Picture credit: Gemini)

What does 30:15 sit-stand routine mean?

As per the findings, sitting for 30 minutes and then standing for 15 minutes was found to provide more substantial benefits. You may try to customise your own sit-stand routine at work, but it may not be as effective. A personalised routine typically involves deciding your own intervals, based on personal convenience or work commitment. For example, standing up and going for a walk, only after your presentation deck is complete, or when your back aches.

But here’s the catch: you may be inconsistent when you decide your own sit-stand interval. But when you follow a fixed routine, i.e, sitting for 30 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of standing, it removes your guesswork as well. You have a structured plan, and even the results are better.

Megadeth's Dave Mustaine Wonders How Long It's Been Since the Last Great Rock Album

Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine Wonders How Long It’s Been Since the Last Great Rock Album

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

Megadeth mastermind Dave Mustaine is currently making the rounds promoting his band’s forthcoming and final self-titled album, due out January 23rd. Just don’t ask him to hype up anybody else’s recent releases.

In remarks from a new interview with Kerrang!, the pioneering thrash metaller was less than enthusiastic about the state of modern rock and metal music — particularly (what he deems to be) a lack of classic albums that have been made over the past three decades, even by his own band and the other legendary metal act he helped start, Metallica.

When asked if he’s leaving metal in good hands when Megadeth finally hangs it up, Mustaine took a pessimistic tone.

“How long has it been since you heard an album like Nevermind or Appetite for Destruction or Rust in Peace or Master of Puppets?” he pondered. “You just don’t hear records like that anymore. You get maybe one good song on a record now, and people are so used to skipping tracks. That saddens me, because there are a lot of our songs where, if you listen to them multiple times, you’ll hear there’s a lot more to them.”

However, Mustaine did add that he feels the upcoming 17th and final album is Megadeth’s best work in decades and a throwback to their formative era.

“We’ve got the best record, I think, that we’ve made in decades,” Mustaine said. “We feel like things did back when it was organic in the beginning, in the days when metal fans used to trade fanzines.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Mustaine said that Megadeth’s farewell tour could last three to five years, meaning that Mustaine will likely wind up the outing around the time he turns 70 years old.

As of now, the band will launch its farewell tour with a Spring 2026 Latin American outing, followed by a European festival run in June, and a month-long stint supporting Iron Maiden’s North American tour beginning in late August. Get tickets here.

AC/DC Shook Melbourne All Night Long, Scientists Confirm

by jummy84 November 13, 2025
written by jummy84

AC/DC came to rock the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Wednesday night, Nov. 12 and the city felt it.

The opening date of AC/DC’s Power Up tour of Australia made waves that were detected by earthquake monitoring equipment, and could be felt, and heard, deep into this former Olympic City.

According to Adam Pascale, chief scientist at the Seismology Research Centre, the concert registered in the 2-5 hertz range at their office in Richmond, some 2 miles from the concert at the towering MCG.

Explore

See latest videos, charts and news

That’s enough force for people to feel the ground move.

“The sound waves that people were experiencing nearby and feeling something through their bodies, that’s the equivalent to what our seismographs feel,” Pascale told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. A resident some 6 miles away told the ABC they could hear the concert.

“We’re picking up the ground motion, we’re not picking up the sound from the air,” Pascale added.

“So, you’ve got speakers on the ground pumping out vibrations and that gets transmitted through the ground, but also the crowd jumping up and down is feeding energy into the ground.”

Although AC/DC came to rock, the largest signals received by the Seismology Research Centre were generated by Taylor Swift’s record-busting three-night stand at the MCG in 2024, Pascale remarked.

Stadium rock can move us, literally. Oasis’s now-completed tour of Live ’25 tour of Australia (via Live Nation) generated a “clear uptick in seismic signal” when fans “started pounding the ground” at Marvel Stadium during a show earlier in the month, the center confirmed earlier.

AC/DC doesn’t do things by halves. These latest round of shows require 300 tons of steel to build the production, with 28 tons of PA and speakers pumping out the sound. A crew of 155 are working each show, which consumes 500kw of power every night.

With Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug and bass player Chris Chaney, the Rock Hall-inducted legends ripped out the classics at the MCG, including “Back In Black,” “Thunderstruck,” “Hells Bells,” “Riff Raff” and much more.

AC/DC last toured Australia and New Zealand in 2015, the domestic leg of their Rock or Bust world tour. On that visit, Young and Co. shifted more than 520,000 tickets across 11 coast-to-coast dates, including shows in Auckland and Wellington.

Next up, the second of two shows this Sunday (Nov. 16) at the MCG, followed by dates in Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and Brisbane.

TEG Van Egmond, a division of TEG, is producing AC/DC’s nine-date national tour, with special guests Amyl & The Sniffers.

AC/DC 2025 “Power Up” Australia Tour Dates:

Nov. 12 — Melbourne Cricket Ground (completed)

Nov. 16 — Melbourne Cricket Ground

Nov. 21 — Accor Stadium, Sydney

Nov. 25 — Accor Stadium, Sydney

How to live a long and healthier life? Here are seven things highlighted by Americans aged 65 and older

What is the secret to longevity and a healthier life? The Pew Research Centre recently interviewed 2,582 Americans aged 65 and older to seek their advice on ageing. They underlined the importance of a nutritious diet, thoughtful financial decisions, and social activities for a balanced and long life.

Advice on ageing from Americans aged 65 and older

“Based on your own experiences, what advice would you give to younger people to help them prepare for getting older?” the Pew Research Centre asked the 2,582 Americans aged 65 and older whom they interviewed.

In a nutshell, the senior citizens emphasized seven themes: Health, finances, mindset/outlook on life, relationships, activities, work, and faith/religion.

Approximately half of older Americans (49 percent) gave health-related advice, such as maintaining a healthy diet, exercising frequently, and attending doctors’ appointments. Compared with elderly males, older women were more likely to give health advice (52 percent vs. 46 percent), per the study.

37 percent of the group stressed the importance of saving money and financial strategies. Approximately 25 percent of older Americans reported having a certain perspective on life, suggesting that younger people should live with thankfulness, enjoy life, and treasure every moment. This topic also included several general life lessons, such as staying loyal to oneself, being self-sufficient, and lending a hand to others.

Building a family and spending time with loved ones, as well as having good friends and a busy social life, were highlighted by 11 percent. And while 8 percent spoke about working hard, 7 percent offered advice related to religion. Another 8 percent said one should have hobbies, interests, and volunteer work.

Go for walks and eat healthy

Centenarians interviewed by CNBC highlighted the need for eating mostly plant-based diets of whole foods like fruits and vegetables. The importance of walking and exercising your body frequently for longevity was also noted by many healthy persons over 90.

“I try to walk every day, without excuse,” Malcom Idelson, 94, told CNBC in 2023. “I look forward to it. I’m often a little down and I say, ‘Let me get out and walk,’ and I feel so much better,” he added.

The 25 Best Thanksgiving Movies to Enjoy Over a Long, Indulgent Weekend

When, shortly after Thanksgiving, Eliza (Hope Davis) discovers a love letter to her husband (Stanley Tucci) from an unknown woman, she heads into the city from Long Island to investigate—taking her parents (Pat McNamara and Anne Meara), her sister (Parker Posey), and her sister’s boyfriend (Liev Schreiber) along for the ride. Cue a day of familial chaos.

Home for the Holidays (1995)

Based on a short story by Chris Radant, Jodie Foster’s Home for the Holidays assembles the quintessential dysfunctional family out of a star-studded cast: Holly Hunter (playing Claudia, a recently fired art restorer who flies home to Baltimore for Thanksgiving), Robert Downey Jr. (as Tommy, Claudia’s younger brother), Dylan McDermott (as Leo, Tommy’s friend), Anne Bancroft (as Adele, her mother), Charles Durning (as Henry, her father), Geraldine Chaplin (as Aunt Glady, Adele’s sister), and Claire Danes (as Kitt, Claudia’s daughter), among others.

Air Traffic Controllers Begin Resigning Amid Government Shutdown: “They’re Stretched So Thin for So Long”

The head of the air traffic controllers’ union says the ongoing government shutdown is driving some controllers to quit as stress and financial strain mount.

“We’re seeing air traffic controllers resign,” said Nick Daniels, president of the National Air Traffic Controllers Association, in an interview with CNN. “We are 400 fewer controllers today than during the 2019 shutdown… they’ve been stretched so thin for so long that they’re actually resigning from the profession.”

The shutdown — now in its 37th day — has left federal employees unpaid. Democrats are demanding a deal that maintains Affordable Care Act subsidies, while President Donald Trump and Republicans have refused, leading to stalled negotiations.

The FAA confirmed an increase in sick calls and has slowed air traffic at 40 airports to manage staffing shortages. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy acknowledged the growing fatigue: “They’re working six days a week, 10 hours a day… you’re going to get burned out.”

Daniels said the financial impact is especially hard on new hires. “They’re calling their employer saying, ‘I have no gas today. I cannot pay for my child care,’” he said. “They’re already maxing out credit cards and taking out loans.”
