I feel I’ve matured in a way that I understand we can’t do much about it. Every person vibrates on a different level of consciousness — there are all kinds of people, and you cannot change them unless they want to change from within.”
Elli went on to explain that such comments often come from people who haven’t seen or experienced much of the world. She said, “What can I say? They need to live life and maybe meet someone like me to understand that there are different sides to every person.”
Concluding her thoughts, she added, “Abhi voh log toh aaise hi sochenge na mere bare mei. Somewhere in their head, they had a perception of ladkiya (girls) jo aaisi dikthi hai, aaisi deshose hai toh voh aaisi hai. They have to travel around the world, take their experience and realise that this is not the way to judge people.”
