President Donald Trump nominated Kash Patel to serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, a position the Senate confirmed in February 2025. Known for his loyalty to Trump, Patel has drawn public interest, with many now curious about his background — including his net worth, career, and personal life.

“I am proud to announce that Kashyap ‘Kash’ Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation,” Trump wrote in his formal announcement. “Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and ‘America First’ fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People.”

It was also revealed that Patel briefly served as acting director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), which falls under the Department of Justice. The dual role was unusual, and when his removal from the ATF post was announced on April 9 without explanation, many were surprised.

“Director Kash Patel was briefly designated ATF Director while awaiting Senate confirmations — a standard, short-term move,” White House spokesman Harrison Fields explained in a statement. Patel was replaced by U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, who will now hold both positions simultaneously.

Learn more about Patel below, including details on his net worth.

Who Is Kash Patel?

Patel was born in 1980 to Indian immigrant parents. He grew up in Garden City, New York, and graduated from the University of Richmond in 2002. Patel eventually earned a certificate in international law from University College London Faculty of Laws. In 2005, he completed his law degree at Pace University.

In 2018, the former public defender served as an aide to Rep. Devin Nunes, the top Republican on the House Intelligence Committee, where he gained Trump’s favor during the Russia investigation. Trump praised Patel for this in his social media post, stating he “played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution.”

One year later, Patel joined the National Security Council before becoming chief of staff to the acting defense secretary in the final year of Trump’s first term.

What Is Patel’s Net Worth?

Patel has a net worth of $5 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth. A recent financial disclosure revealed that he earned at least $2.6 million over the past year alone.

How Does Patel Make His Money?

After graduating from law school in 2005, Patel spent eight years working as a public defender in Florida. He initially worked with the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, and then as a federal public defender. In 2014, he joined the U.S. Department of Justice’s National Security Division as a trial attorney and served as a legal liaison to the Joint Special Operations Command. In 2017, Patel was appointed senior counsel for counterterrorism in the House Intelligence Committee.

His latest financial disclosure, which revealed he earned at least $2.6 million in the past year, shows that much of his income stemmed from consulting, media appearances, speaking fees, and book deals. The primary source of his earnings—over $2.1 million—was national security, defense, and intelligence consulting through his firm, Trishul LLC.

Trishul LLC’s clients include Trump Media & Technology Group, the Embassy of Qatar, and Czech financial services company CSGM. Since 2022, Patel has served on the board of Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns Truth Social, and also holds a consulting contract reportedly worth at least $120,000 annually.

Patel also revealed ownership of several assets, including up to $5 million in stock from the fashion and skincare retailer EliteDepot and up to $250,000 in stock from tactical gear company VK Integrated Systems. Additionally, his stock portfolio includes up to $250,000 in chip designer NVIDIA, up to $250,000 in Bitcoin mining company Core Scientific, and up to $115,000 in a Bitcoin ETF.

Patel, who authored the 2023 partial memoir Government Gangsters and has also published two pro-Trump children’s books, earned between $145,000 and $1.2 million from his book deals.

Is Patel Married?

No, Patel is not married. According to The New York Times, Patel entered and later dropped out of an Above the Law charity bachelor auction in 2014 benefiting the Switchboard of Miami after a blogger noted that his law license appeared to be outdated in the state.

He is, however, currently dating country singer and Republican press secretary Alexis Wilkins. Their relationship drew public attention after she stood by Patel’s side at his swearing-in ceremony in February. Wilkins, who is nearly 20 years younger than Patel, first met him at a ReAwaken America event in October 2022, and the pair began dating in January 2023.

5 Things About Erika Lane Frantzve & Their Family – Hollywood Life

Charlie Kirk’s wife, Erika Frantzve, has been thrust into the spotlight following the conservative activist’s death in September 2025. The loss has drawn reactions from political leaders. President Donald Trump called Charlie “the best of America” and wrote, “He was loved and admired by ALL, especially me, and now, he is no longer with us. Melania and my sympathies go out to his beautiful wife Erika, and family.” Vice President J.D. Vance added that the controversial figure was “a true friend” whose kindness sparked a friendship that lasted until the very end.

Erika was last seen in Phoenix, Arizona, deplaning from Air Force Two with her children after Charlie’s body was flown in, where Second Lady Usha Vance was photographed holding her hand in a show of support.

Erika Runs a Nonprofit

She founded Every Life Is Worthy (ELIW), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting underprivileged communities and advocating for pro-life causes.

She Married Charlie in 2021

Charlie and Erika tied the knot in May 2021. The two had their first date in 2018, she mentioned in an Instagram post in September 2023.

“5 years ago today, we sat inside Bills Burgers in NYC deep in conversation and banter over theology, philosophy, and politics and at the end, you paused, looked at me and said, ‘I’m going to date you.’ Dating with intention to marry is way different than dating to ‘see where it goes.’ Let God write your love story.”

Just two years later, in December 2020, Kirk proposed, and they were married the following spring. On their first wedding anniversary in May 2022, Erika celebrated the milestone with another post on Instagram, writing, “A year ago, we stood at that altar making the most precious covenant with God as we became one flesh. A deep transformation and unification that I’ll never be able to put into words.”

“A year of adventure. Of laughter. Of endless memories. God knew all along, it was you. Charles James you are my today and all of my tomorrow’s. How blessed I am to have you as my husband and how honored I am to be your wife. May our marriage continue to glorify God. I love you endlessly.”

5 Things to Know About the MSNBC Analyst Who Was Fired – Hollywood Life

Matthew Dowd has spent decades shaping American politics and analyzing it on television, but in September 2025, the veteran strategist made headlines for a different reason. The longtime consultant and MSNBC contributor was fired after his controversial remarks about Charlie Kirk’s death sparked swift backlash.

Learn more about him below.

He’s a Veteran Political Strategist

Dowd has worked in politics for decades, most famously serving as the chief strategist for George W. Bush’s 2004 reelection campaign. Earlier in his career, he advised Democrats like Dick Gephardt and worked with Texas Senator Lloyd Bentsen before switching parties and joining the Republican side.

His Political Identity Has Shifted Over the Years

Dowd’s political journey has been anything but static. He has identified as both a Democrat and a Republican, and in more recent years has called himself an independent. He has openly criticized both major parties, saying he believes leaders on both sides often fail to prioritize ordinary Americans.

He Ran for Office in Texas

In 2021, Dowd entered the race for Texas lieutenant governor as a Democrat, aiming to unseat Republican incumbent Dan Patrick. However, he later dropped out of the race, saying he didn’t want to contribute to a crowded Democratic field and believed a more diverse candidate should take the lead.

“A diverse field is now emerging in the Democratic primary for this office,” Dowd said in a statement at the time. “I do not want to be the one who stands in the way of the greater diversity we need in politics.”

He Was Fired From MSNBC After His Charlie Kirk Comments

In September 2025, following the shooting death of Kirk, Dowd said on air that Kirk was “one of the most divisive younger figures” and argued that “hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions.”

His remarks sparked backlash, with MSNBC President Rebecca Kutler calling them “inappropriate, insensitive, and unacceptable.” The network quickly terminated his role as a contributor, though Dowd later apologized and clarified he did not intend to blame Kirk for the violence.

“On an earlier appearance on MSNBC I was asked a question on the environment we are in. I apologize for my tone and words. Let me be clear, I in no way intended for my comments to blame Kirk for this horrendous attack. Let us all come together and condemn violence of any kind,” Dowd wrote on BlueSky.

He Has Written Books and Worked in Media Beyond TV

Outside of politics, Dowd has built a career as an author and media voice. He co-wrote Applebee’s America: How Successful Political, Business and Religious Leaders Connect with the New American Community and later published A New Way: Embracing the Paradox as We Lead and Serve in 2017.

Who Is Liam Hemsworth Dating? Meet Gabriella Brooks & Ex-Girlfriends – Hollywood Life

Liam Hemsworth has dated several amazing women over the years. His most famous relationship was his on-and-off romance with Miley Cyrus that culminated in their marriage and subsequent divorce. But Miley isn’t the only star who has romanced the Hunger Games actor. Liam is now engaged to his girlfriend of six years, Gabriella Brooks! Keep reading for a complete recap of Liam’s dating history and more on his engagement to Gabriella.

Miley Cyrus

Liam met Miley on the set of the 2009 movie The Last Song. As they co-starred in the film, they kindled a romance. The couple made their red carpet debut at the romance movie’s premiere, and they announced that they were engaged in January 2012, after a few breakups and reunions.

Despite their first engagement, the couple ended up splitting up again and they each had a run of relationships with other people. After a few years apart, the couple were seen spending time together at a 2016 music festival, and the following year, Miley dropped her hit song “Malibu,” which was inspired by Australian actor. By December 2018, the pair finally got married, six years after Liam first proposed.

— brittany (@mogirlprobs) December 26, 2018

Unfortunately, the couple’s marriage was short-lived. After attending the 2019 Met Gala together, the pair revealed that they’d broken up by August of that year. After the split, Miley opened up about going through a public divorce on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

“What really sucked about it wasn’t the fact that me and someone that I loved realized that we don’t love each other the way that we used to anymore. That’s okay, I can accept that,” she said.  What really sucked about it wasn’t the fact that me and someone that I loved realized that we don’t love each other the way that we used to anymore. That’s okay, I can accept that.”

Liam and Miley finalized their divorce in January 2020.

Eliza Gonzalez

Following his 2013 split from Miley, Liam was seen kissing actress Eliza Gonzalez in Los Angeles. However, the romance was seemingly short-lived, as Liam and Eliza were never seen together in public again.

Nina Dobrev

In February 2014, Liam enjoyed a makeout session with Nina Dobrev at a bar in Atlanta, Georgia, where Liam was filming The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 and 2, while Nina was working on The Vampire Diaries. “They were having a great time. They were definitely acting couple-y,” an eyewitness told Celebuzz about the pair’s rendezvous at the time.

“They stayed around two to three hours and Nina left before Liam, and as she was leaving they gave each other a good night kiss… she ran off into a car service with her friend,” the insider added. “The kisses were on the lips publicly outside of the bar… and it was three sensual kisses on the lips.”

Maddison Brown

Two months after filing for divorce from Miley in August 2019, Liam was seen holding hands with Dynasty star Maddison Brown. They walked around the West Village neighborhood in New York City before going to dinner at an Italian restaurant. However, the romance seemed to fizzle out shortly after.

Gabriella Brooks

Liam has been in a relationship with Australian model Gabriella Brooks since at least 2019. The couple first sparked romance rumors when they were spotted meeting Liam’s parents for lunch in Byron Bay, Australia, on December 13, 2019. They were later spotted kissing on the beach in Jan. 2020. Later that year, sources close to Liam exclusively told Hollywood Life that Liam’s family loves Gabriella.

“Gabby has been living with Liam since quarantine started so his family has gotten very close to her, she’s totally one of them now,” a friend of the family’s said. “Liam is very happy with her and so is his family. They think Gabby is a great match for himand they’d love to see them eventually settle down together. They love that she’s from Australia, it just makes things really easy because they don’t have to worry about Liam moving away.”

In November 2022, Liam and Gabriella made their red carpet debut as a couple at the premiere of his movie Poker Face in Sydney. Gabriella also joined Liam for the Extraction 2 premiere in New York on June 12, 2023. Aside from those outing, the couple has mostly kept their relationship out of the spotlight. However, Gabriella did make a rare comment about her and Liam’s romance at the end of 2021.

“My personal relationship is very, very important and very sacred to me,” she told the Daily Telegraph‘s Stellar Magazine, per Just Jared. “I completely understand [the interest in her relationship]. But at the end of the day, I guess I just like having that for me.” She went on to say that Liam is “great” and that his family is “the most beautiful people and I’m very lucky to know them.”

In September 2025, Gabriella confirmed that she and Liam were engaged after six years of dating.

“Nicole and I have been waiting,” Witherspoon, 48, told E! News at the Hello Sunshine red carpet in October 2024.  “We’re in waiting for Liane Moriarty. She’s going to be turning in something very soon. We’re back to the original author and we’re going to go back to the original characters.”

“It’s exciting, too, because I think the kids are probably a little older now,” she continued. “So that might add another element. I don’t know yet; I haven’t read it.”

Nearly one year later, Variety reported that the season was officially in development.

Here’s a look at everything we know so far.

When Will ‘Big Little Lies’ Season 3 Premiere?

No premiere date for season 3 has been confirmed yet. In November 2023, during a Q&A at a Ladies Professional Golf Association event, Kidman noted that she “loved” working on the acclaimed HBO series and confirmed that she was actively working on season 3.

“I loved Big Little Lies because it sort of came along at a time in my life when I had my children, and I was thinking I was going to retire,” the Undoing alum said. “And then, this situation came along, where Reese Witherspoon and I were able to produce that show and create that show. And then all of you watched it and made it a massive success. And we will be bringing you a third one, just FYI.”

The only issue was that fans weren’t sure if Kidman was implying that the entire cast had already begun filming. Other cast members—Shailene Woodley, Laura Dern, and Zoë Kravitz—did not confirm whether they are on board for the third season. A potential release date was set for sometime in 2024, but production faced delays due to the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

Kidman admitted she may have shared the news a bit prematurely when she announced the next season last November. “I got excited,” the Perfect Couple star told Vanity Fair in a joint interview with Witherspoon in June. “But we are now! We’re moving fast and furious, and Liane is delivering the book. Yeah, and we’re in good shape.”

“We talked about doing a season 3 a lot and, unfortunately, Jean-Marc Vallée, our incredible director, passed away this last year, and I just can’t imagine going on without him,” the Batman actress explained in a 2022 TikTok video.

Who Is in the ‘Big Little Lies’ Season 3 Cast?

As of now, only Kidman and Witherspoon have confirmed their participation in the Season 3 cast. Previously, other actors expressed uncertainty about returning for a third season. In fact, Kravitz once stated she “doubted” they would ever return to the Big Little Lies set.

“We talked about doing a Season 3 a lot, and unfortunately, Jean-Marc Vallée, our incredible director, passed away this last year. I just can’t imagine going on without him,” the Batman actress explained in a 2022 TikTok video.

Meryl Streep also made a significant impact in Season 2, so fans are hoping she will return, especially considering the way her character and Nicole’s character concluded in the Season 2 finale.

What Happened at the End of Season 2?

At the end of season 2, Meryl’s character, Mary Louise, and Nicole’s Celeste faced off, and more details about Perry’s death were revealed (Perry is played by Alexander Skarsgard). It was revealed that Mary Louise lost control while driving her sons, resulting in the accidental death of Perry’s brother. Celeste also hinted that Mary Louise had abused Perry emotionally and possibly physically, which could have caused him to become a domestic abuser.

The Monterey Five are also implied to have turned themselves in toward the end of the episode, as they approached the police station. This ending divided many viewers.

Christy Martin is widely regarded as one of the most influential female boxers in history. Nicknamed “The Coal Miner’s Daughter,” she broke barriers in the 1990s by bringing women’s boxing into the mainstream, eventually earning a spot in the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Beyond the ring, Christy’s story of survival after a near-fatal attack by her then-husband has inspired countless fans. Now, her remarkable life is the subject of the upcoming biopic Christy, starring Sydney Sweeney.

Learn more about the trailblazing fighter below.

She Earned the Nickname “The Coal Miner’s Daughter”

Christy was born Christy Salters in the coal camp of Itmann, West Virginia, to Joyce and Johnny Salters, and grew up in the nearby town of Mullens. Reflecting on her upbringing, she told ESPN in 2020, “Itmann was a coal camp. A tiny little speck of a nothing town. Mountains and hills and everyone you knew, they’re either miners or railroaders or teachers. I love West Virginia, I love the people there. But I never for one day thought I was going to stay.”

Her upbringing and family background earned her the nickname “The Coal Miner’s Daughter,” a title that stayed with her throughout her trailblazing boxing career.

She Became Women’s Boxing’s First Mainstream Star

In the 1990s, Christy broke through in a male-dominated sport, quickly becoming one of the first women to gain mainstream recognition in boxing. She was the first female fighter signed by legendary promoter Don King, who placed her on the undercards of major events, including Mike Tyson bouts. Known for her power, Christy racked up 49 wins, 32 by knockout, making her one of the most successful female boxers of all time.

As she once explained to ESPN, her goal was never to be seen just as a woman in the ring: “When people left, I wanted them to say, ‘Wow, that was a good fight!’ Not, ‘That was a good woman’s fight.’ I didn’t want to be a good woman fighter. I wanted to be the best.”

She’s in the Hall of Fame

Christy’s accomplishments earned her induction into both the International Boxing Hall of Fame (2020) and the Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame. Her legacy has been credited with paving the way for current stars like Claressa Shields and Katie Taylor.

She Survived a Near-Fatal Attack

In 2010, Christy was stabbed and shot by her then-husband and manager, James Martin, in a brutal attack that nearly ended her life. Despite her injuries, she managed to escape and survived after emergency surgery. Since then, she has spoken openly about her ordeal to raise awareness of domestic violence, later sharing her story in interviews and documentaries, including ESPN’s 30 for 30: The Fight of Her Life.

Her Life Is the Subject of a New Movie

Christy’s inspiring and harrowing journey has now been adapted into the upcoming biopic Christy, with Sweeney in the title role. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2025 and is set for a November 7, 2025 theatrical release. The movie not only showcases Martin’s rise as a fighter but also delves into her personal battles, highlighting her courage inside and outside the ring.

Jugnuma review: Manoj Bajpayee soars in Raam Reddy’s dreamscape where magic meets everyday life

The first thing that hooks you to The Fable (releasing in India as Jugnuma) is the opening frame itself. Shot on film, a rarity today, it immediately sets the mood. Glossy widescreen frames may look impressive, but when the setting is the 1980s, the masterstroke lies in the choice of format. The grainy texture of the stock suits a story that calls itself a fable, and the makers are careful not to smooth it over. The effect is a sense of magic and story coming alive.

The film’s unique cinematography and authentic performances create a captivating story about family and the environment.

What is Jugnuma about?

Jugnuma is not a run-of-the-mill film. The only familiar presence is Manoj Bajpayee, whose mainstream success in the OTT world has given him the freedom to experiment. Raam Reddy’s film benefits immensely from that. Viewers may arrive for Manoj, but they stay for Raam’s storytelling. The film follows Dev (Manoj), an orchard owner in Himachal who lives happily with his wife and two children. One day, part of his orchard is torched. Suspicion falls on the villagers tasked with guarding it at night. What happens next is the rest of the film.

Movie Review

Jugnuma

Jugnuma

Rating Star 3/5

The film follows a Himachal orchard owner living with his wife and children, whose orchard is partly torched, putting suspicion on the night guards.

Cast

Manoj Bajpayee, Priyanka Bose

Verdict

Jugnuma reveals that a fable is less about magic and more about the truths woven into daily life, leaving behind questions, images, and a mood that lingers well past its runtime.

There is a plot, but the film does not rush. It prefers to let events unfold at their own pace, aided by touches of magic realism. Early on, Dev dons a pair of enormous wings he has built himself and soars into the sky. Magic is part of everyday life here.

The nuances stand out. A video camera, first introduced innocently as Dev’s youngest child runs around excitedly with it, turns the viewer into a lens. Later, the same camera offers a final glimpse of what may have happened to the family, which disappears without trace. Man’s battle with the environment is also a recurring theme.

A stunning picture

The visuals themselves, crafted by cinematographer Sunil Borkar, a former national-level shooter, are fascinating. A look into how the film was made, and the awards it has already won, is enough to leave anyone impressed, do give it a read on Wikipedia.

Among the performances, Manoj is so good at slipping into his characters that it hardly feels like acting. He is Dev. Priyanka Bose complements him perfectly as his wife. With half the cast drawn from real villagers trained on location, the story gains an added sense of authenticity. Deepak Dobriyal, as Dev’s manager and the narrator, does his part well.

Overall, Jugnuma shows that a fable is not just about magic but about the truths hidden within the everyday. It leaves you with questions, images, and a mood that lingers far longer than the runtime.
