Kris Jenner was absolutely the star of the show at her 70th birthday party this past weekend. She popped out for a ‘Bond’ themed bash with her wealthy family and friends. It was a lavish night, and Kris Jenner went viral for her fresh, youthful glow in her strapless couture gown. Then, on Monday, she penned a sweet note for her “rock,” Corey Gamble, on his 45th birthday.

Kris Jenner Went Viral For Her Youthful Look

Kris Jenner turned 70 on Wednesday (November 5), but the fete was over the weekend. Several photos she posted on Instagram on Sunday had the internet going! “Magical night celebrating my 70th birthday with beautiful family and friends,” she wrote in the caption. The photos showed her wearing a Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Alexander McQueen from the runway fall/winter 2002

Her snatched face has been sparking conversation since May, when she accompanied Kim Kardashian to court in Paris. However, it’s no secret that Kris Jenner has undergone two facelifts. She said so, to Vogue Arabia.

“I had a facelift about 15 years ago, so it was time for a refresh,” she confides. “I decided to do this facelift because I want to be the best version of myself, and that makes me happy. Just because you get older, it doesn’t mean you should give up on yourself. If you feel comfortable in your skin and you want to age gracefully – meaning you don’t want to do anything – then don’t do anything. But for me, this is ageing gracefully. It’s my version,” she told reporter Manuel Arnaut.

Social media is definitely clapping it up for  it up for the reported surgeon Dr. Steven Levine. Jenner told Vogue Arabia previously that she’s open about her surgeries because she believes it can help others.

The Guest List Was Long With Longer Pockets!

Oprah Winfrey, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Mariah Carey, Adele, Jeff Bezos, and even Mark Zuckerberg! That’s just a hint of the guest list at Kris Jenner’s ‘Bond’ birthday party. Y’all get the picture, keep scrolling to see some!

On Monday, she shared additional photos from her celebration of life. She wrote, “I feel so blessed to have my precious family and all my beautiful friends come together for one night to celebrate and make these amazing memories together!”

Kris Isn’t Quitting Work (Or Her Man) Any Time Soon!

Kris Jenner’s guest list is a reflection of the momager’s poppin’ status and the earnings to match. Her net worth is estimated at over $200 million, per Vogue Arabia, and she’s reportedly taking a 10% management cut from several of her children’s businesses from Kourtney’s Poosh to Khloe’s Good American and Kylie’s cosmetic brand. Jenner told the outlet in August that she doesn’t plan to quit anytime soon. She’s aiming to beat her mom’s record of retirement at 82. She joked with the outlet that she’ll probably slow down at 85!

And the 70-year-old is keeping the same energy with her love life. She and Corey Gamble are still going strong after a decade together! He was by her side at her birthday bash, and on Monday she penned a beautiful message about his role in her life. She also shared a ton of photos of them spending time together.

“Happy birthday, babe @coreygamble! Thank you for being my rock, my ride or die, and the most incredible partner. Thank you for all you do every single day, for the love you give, and for always being there for all of us. I’m so blessed to have you by my side. I love you!!! ♥️♥️🎂🎂”

Police called to Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday bash

9 November 2025

Police were reportedly called to Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday party because neighbours made multiple noise complaints.

Kris Jenner had her 70th birthday party on Saturday (08.11.25)

Sources told TMZ that “loud music and disturbances” from Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, 61, and his 55-year-old wife Lauren Sanchez Bezos’ $165 million Beverly Hills estate – where the James Bond-themed bash took place on Saturday (08.11.25) night – was “echoing through the hills” and nearby residents could hear all of the action from the star-studded event.

The outlet also reported that the cops “spoke with security and issued a warning”.

When 40-year-old singer Bruno Mars performed at the media personality Kris’ party, the crowd “went absolutely nuts”, which caused a wave of cheers to crash out of Jeff and Lauren’s pad.

TMZ reports that “officers returned later when they learnt large fake hedges were blocking the street outside the property”.

As many celebrities were leaving the over-the-top bash, the dividers had to be removed because they did not have a permit.

Some of the A-listers who attended include talk show host Oprah Winfrey, 71, singer Mariah Carey, 56, actor Vin Diesel, 58, and 41-year-old Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

And the event also attracted royalty, as Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, 41, and his 44-year-old wife, Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, went along.

Members of the extended Kardashian-Jenner family were seen at the event for Kris – whose actual milestone birthday was on Wednesday (05.11.25).

This included her daughters Kim Kardashian, 45, Kourtney Kardashian, 46, Kendall Jenner, 30, and Kylie Jenner, 28, as well as Kourtney’s husband, musician Travis Barker, 49, Kourntey’s ex-partner, media personality Scott Disick, 42, Khloe’s former partner, basketball player Tristan Thompson, 34, and Kris’ 44-year-old boyfriend, actor Corey Gamble.

Kris donned a strapless crimson ruffled gown that featured a train, and she completed her stunning look with sheer black gloves, as well as diamond earrings.

A source told People: “Kris looked stunning. It was a total Old Hollywood glam. Everyone was talking about how amazing she looked.”

And it was a truly private event as no cameras captured the party for the Kardashians’ Hulu reality TV show.

The insider added: “There were no TV cameras filming.

“It was just all about celebrating Kris, and it was everything you’d expect from Kris: over-the-top, glamorous and full of love from her family.

“It was obvious that she had the best night.”

Seeing all of the megawatt celebrities arrive to the party was as much of a spectacle as, say, the Oscars or Golden Globes—especially given each attendee brought a formal ensemble for the night. Though, they all embraced black tie differently. Oprah Winfrey went sleek in her leather top and trousers—Sarah Paulson and Naomi Watts (two All’s Fair co-stars) went classic and glamorous in their floor-length dresses. Mariah Carey—the queen of glamour—wore an embellished slip dress, as did Paris Hilton in her beaded sky-blue number.

What did the birthday girl, Kris Jenner, wear you may be asking? We wouldn’t know: The business mogul arrived to the party via some sort of private entry, so her birthday outfit was not seen. But given her penchant for an elegant black power suit (her signature), you just know that whatever she wore to dance the night away was good. Maybe she wore one of the 65 custom designer looks that Kim bought her for her 65th birthday.

Below, more guests spotted at Jenner’s 70th birthday.

Oscar Winners Ben Proudfoot and Kris Bowers Talk ‘The Eyes of Ghana’

by jummy84 October 25, 2025
written by jummy84

Their most creative collaboration, 2023’s “The Last Repair Shop,” led director Ben Proudfoot and Kris Bowers to a Best Documentary Short Oscar win the next year. But it wasn’t a given Bowers would compose the score for Proudfoot’s feature debut, “The Eyes of Ghana.”

“Because it’s a lot of work, right? It’s like, ‘OK, it’s six months of my life,’” Proudfoot told IndieWire during an interview at the 2025 Middleburg Film Festival. “When you decide, ‘OK, this project feels like it’s part of my body of work,’ it’s a big decision, one that I take seriously.”

Though he has mostly worked as a film and TV composer on projects like “Green Book,” “Bridgerton,” and Original Score nominee “The Wild Robot,” Bowers’ work with Proudfoot also includes the Oscar-nominated short “A Concerto Is a Conversation” as co-director. But joining him on this newer, longer, global venture has the composer excited “just be a part of what was already being created.”

“The Eyes of Ghana” is seen through the eyes of Chris Hesse, a Ghanaian filmmaker who documented the rise of President Kwame Nkrumah, known as the man who liberated the African continent. Furthermore, when colonizers attempted to burn all evidence of Nkrumah’s time as a revolutionary leader, Hesse snuck his reels out of Ghana, and into a London vault, where the footage has spent decades inside, waiting to be digitized.

As someone who grew up in Nova Scotia, Proudfoot was completely unaware of most of this history. While in Ghana during the COVID-19 pandemic, shooting a film for UNICEF, “the whole van of us, the crew, we’re driving down this main thoroughfare, and I saw this unusually shaped building and a statue of a man pointing. And I said, ‘What’s that?’ They said, ‘Oh, that’s the mausoleum for Kwame Nkrumah.’ And I said, ‘Who’s Kwame Nkrumah?’ Every Ghanaian in the vehicle turned around and looked at me like ‘What the hell?,” said the director. “We know Gandhi, we know Martin Luther King Jr., we know all these figures from history who are responsible for leading a movement that changed the course of a continent or hundreds of millions of people. But Kwame Nkrumah, I opened the file folder of my mind, and there’s nothing there.”

Naturally curious, Proudfoot inquired whether he could speak to anyone who knew the politician, and his crew excitedly pointed him toward Hesse, a now-nonagenarian who worked as Nkrumah’s personal cinematographer, shooting everything on 16mm and 35mm. Though they were 60 years and an ocean apart, Proudfoot and Hesse became fast friends united in the idea of getting the word out there to maintain this treasure trove of footage. “That’s my mission in life,” Hesse told the director.

Nkrumah was crucial in jumpstarting the Ghanaian film industry, building a studio to produce work that conveys an Africa that defies the expectations promoted by colonizers. “If I say, ‘Oh, here’s a documentary set in Africa,’ you immediately have certain expectations of what that might be, based on documentaries you’ve seen in the past or world hunger infomercials on the TV or whatever. Which is not a broad understanding of what’s going on, which was Kwame Nkrumah’s whole point in the first place,” said Proudfoot.

Through the subject of his film, the director shows how an important part of Ghana’s modern history is entwined with a love of cinema. “We’re making a film not about Kwame Nkrumah, not about Ghana, we’re making a film about Chris Hesse and his experience and how he views it. And Chris Hesse is an extraordinary film artist, a cinematographer,” said Proudfoot. “So if you’re making a film about a filmmaker, you need to bring the best of everything to the table.” The director boasted how “huge swaths of the movie are shot in IMAX 70mm,” particularly in the film’s emotional conclusion, which was shot on 5-perf, 65mm celluloid on an IMAX camera. “That literal camera that we used, that came to Ghana, came from the set of ‘Sinners.’ Same camera.”

Like Proudfoot, Bowers had not heard of Nkrumah, nor had he been to Ghana. Bower said, “I’ve always just been really curious about any sort of scoring of an African project.” Upon formally accepting the offer to once again work with his friend Proudfoot, Bowers said, “I’m aware of the deep history and tradition with music, and so that was my first bit of excitement as a composer, trying to figure out how to incorporate some of that into the score.”

The gyil, the atenteben, and the talking drum were the three key instruments that helped him achieve a more African sound. “I would ask about the gyil, which is a mallet instrument, and was asking, ‘What key does that play in typically?’ So if I write, I can write in that key. And the musician I was speaking with was like, ‘Well, actually that’s usually tuned to whomever the singer is.’ And so that made me inspired to tune themes to each of the characters’ speaking voices and [spend] time transcribing the way they spoke, to see what key range did they speak in.” For instance, the charismatic Hesse was in the key of F Mixolydian.

To play the atenteben, a bamboo flute, Bowers recruited Dela Botri based on impressive videos of the Ghanaian musician performing. “You could watch him playing jazz riffs and all this stuff. So we were like, ‘OK, we’ve got to get that guy,’” said the composer. Bowers was hesitant to use the talking drum after the instrument’s prominence in Ludwig Göransson’s Oscar-winning “Black Panther” score, but ultimately, “it’s such a huge part of Ghanaian history that it felt like I can’t not put that in there. And also, it felt weird that ‘Black Panther’ for some reason would make it so that I can’t use an instrument when I’m writing a score for an African film.”

Bowers did, however, come to a point where inspiration began getting in the way of execution. “My first pass of writing some of the cues, taking all this information, again, I spent a month studying this stuff, I tried writing a score from a Ghanaian perspective. And it was something that wasn’t quite fitting with the film,” said the composer. “The more Ben and I talked about it, the more I realized it was my own fear of not representing the country well, and music well in that way… This movie is about the power of and the love for cinema, and so [Ben] really encouraged me and helped me embrace just taking everything I know about film music, and I’ve learned now about Ghanaian music, and just try to make this as great as possible.”

He concluded, “I’m not Ghanaian. It actually would be more disrespectful for me to try to pretend like I could write this Ghanaian score. But more so, just try to take as much information as I can and be influenced and informed by that and write music from my heart at that point.”

Producer Moses Bwayo (and co-director of recent Best Documentary Feature nominee “Bobi Wine: The People’s President”) helped convince the prolific, Oscar-winning shorts director Proudfoot to make this his feature directorial debut.

“My philosophy is that it is our duty as filmmakers not to waste anybody’s time. And sometimes when you make a movie, the idea is that people want to escape. Certainly, I do. When I turn on a movie before I go to bed or on a Saturday afternoon or whatever, I want to go into a world for a few hours. I’m happy that it’s long,” he said. “But oftentimes with documentaries … you want to understand, you want to learn something, you want to solve the mystery, you want to meet these people, you want to come out enlightened, informed, inspired. And so if that’s the reason why you’re watching the movie — which is different, there’s a different kind of intention — you don’t want to spend more time than you need to. A lot of documentaries, especially over the last 10 years, have been designed to suck up as much of your time as possible. That’s why I’ve been so interested in short films, because it’s the opposite.”

He added, “With this film, even though it’s in the category of a feature-length documentary, it’s a lot packed into 89 minutes. As my career has gone on, what I’m committed to less so is format, of short form or feature film, and more just elegance and a richness. It couldn’t have been any shorter. And that the audience feels like, ‘Wow, I took in a lot, I went from knowing nothing about this to knowing a lot, caring a lot,’ that interests me.”

Ultimately, “The Eyes of Ghana” stealthily circles back to the kind of format Proudfoot is known for, making reference to producer and film subject Anita Afonu’s project “Perished Diamonds,” which covers the history of Ghanaian cinema in 40 minutes, plus all of Hesse’s work. “Those reels that are in the archive, they’re mainly short documentaries. So at the end, it might be a feature documentary, but it’s about an archive of short documentaries, so I can’t escape it,” said the director.

This resurfacing of Hesse’s footage is “the opposite of what’s happening in America and a lot of the world, which is history being erased, not being able to talk about a war on information. And this is an opening and a blooming of new history, which I think is very exciting,” said Proudfoot. “We’re very proud to be a part of that and drawing attention to that, not just in Ghana, but really across all Africa. Chris traveled all across the continent telling stories in all kinds of countries, because Kwame Nkrumah would lend out his film unit to all these other liberation movements. So it’s continent-wide, really.”

“The Eyes of Ghana” is the first independent feature produced by Barack and Michelle Obama’s production company Higher Ground, and has yet to find a distributor, but Proudfoot’s urgency lies more with encouraging the digitization of Hesse’s archive than rushing into a deal to release the film in theaters. “It’s just about remembering why we made this movie and continuing to pound the pavement and find people who get it, who understand it, and who believe this is an important story that must be told,” he said. “These kinds of stories, often African narratives, they just get left off. ‘It’s not relevant, it’s not important.’ It is important.”

Proudfoot added, “Part of what we’re doing with the film is helping Chris in his mission to reframe this archive, not as a nice-to-have, but as an essential piece of history.”

To Proudfoot, “The highest and best use of documentary is to get people to pay attention, and let’s face it, do something about it. Not just say, ‘That’s a nice documentary.’ [claps] ‘Here’s an award,’ or ‘We think you’re great.’ So what? This archive, if we don’t pay attention, it’s going to be gone in 15 years,” he said. “That’s what happens to cinema, that’s what happens to celluloid. So that’s our hope, whether it’s the distributor or whether it’s finding somebody who really cares about this, who has a connection to it, it must make a difference in the world. Entertainment, for me, it’s not enough. I think it must help solve that problem.”

“The Eyes of Ghana” world-premiered at TIFF before playing Middleburg. It is currently seeking a U.S. distributor.

Where Caitlyn Jenner, Kris Jenner Stand: The Kardashians Reunion

by jummy84 October 23, 2025
written by jummy84

Caitlyn Jenner and Kris Jenner are keeping it amicable.

During the season seven premiere of The Kardashians, out on Hulu Oct. 23, the Olympian reunited with the Kardashian-Jenner clan onscreen to attend Kris’ farewell gathering at their Hidden Hills mansion, which she had put up for sale.

“I just couldn’t really come here with my whole family,” Kris said tearfully on The Kardashians, “and say goodbye to this house and not invite the person who made all the memories with us for so many years.”

The pair shared the home, dubbed Eldorado Meadow, before their 2013 breakup and filmed many episodes of Keeping Up With the Kardashians on the property. The show, which ended in 2021, would be the last time Caitlyn appeared onscreen with the group.

As for where Caitlyn, 75, and Kris, 69, stand now?

“I don’t know if my parents will ever be best friends again,” their daughter Kylie Jenner, 28, said in a confessional in a preview for the following episode, “but this is definitely a great first step.”

Ray J Sued By Kim Kardashian And Kris Jenner For Defamation

by jummy84 October 6, 2025
written by jummy84

Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner have moved to file a lawsuit against Ray J after he allegedly defamed them with allegations of a federal investigation.

According to the Associated Press, the mother-daughter duo filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday (Oct. 1) and claimed that Ray J’s most recent claims crossed a line and are part of a  “sustained campaign of harassment and defamation” that has lasted for years.

“Unable to accept the end of his fleeting relationship with Ms. Kardashian over twenty years ago, Ray J has repeatedly sought to attach himself to Plaintiffs’ names and exploit their prominence for personal gain,” the lawsuit detailed.

Last month, audio surfaced of Ray J, legal name Ray Norwood Jr., alleging to have involvement with a federal investigation of the two women.

“This federal RICO though on KK and Kris…the federal RICO I’m about to drop on Kris and Kim is about to be crazy,” he boasted while speaking to Baddies star Chrisean Rock. “I’m talking about, I’m on the news every day. I’m gonna say a lot of sh*t. If anybody know Kim or cool with Kim, they need to tell her now, the rain is coming, the feds is coming….There’s nothing I can do about it.”

“It’s worse than Diddy,” he added repeatedly.

According to AP, the lawsuit also noted a TMZ special that aired in May where Ray J proclaimed, “racketeering charges against the Kardashians would be appropriate,” and “if you told me that the Kardashians were being charged for racketeering, I might believe it.”

“No such federal investigation exists; no law enforcement agency has initiated any criminal proceedings or investigations related to racketeering charges against Ms. Kardashian or Ms. Jenner; and no credible evidence whatsoever supports these inflammatory allegations,” explained the lawsuit.

“Ray J’s acknowledged animosity toward the Kardashian family, coupled with his demonstrated willingness to lie for attention, leaves no room for doubt that his recent RICO statements were neither careless nor impulsive,” the lawsuit continued. “They were the latest salvo in a deliberate and malicious campaign of harassment and defamation intended to defame Plaintiffs while reviving his own fading notoriety.”

In response, Ray J alleged that the family attempted to make him a “slave.” In the above clip taken from a Twitch live stream, the 44-year-old addresses the allegations made in the lawsuit.

“How I defame you? You just paid me all this money, you ain’t mention that. But you also didnt mention that you was supposed to tell Hulu to take that sh*t down,” he began. “These b**ches already paid me $5 million, and they tryna make me a slave.”

“I can show you all the dirty sh*t they telling me…y’all think im just on here acting like an a**…I’m obsessed with you? You’re obsessed with me,” he continued. “I got all the proof. This is you telling me, ‘Please don’t tell nobody.’ You going to jail. This is bribery. You keep pressing me every year, and I don’t wanna take this sh*t no more. I don’t wanna take y’all fu**king money.”

“The arbitration sh*t’s out the door, bro. What are you doing? This is hush money from a lie that you created.”

VIBE has reached out to representatives for Ray J, Kim Kardshian and Kris Jenner for a statement on the dispute.

Kris Jenner on building the Kardashian empire: ‘I never thought the exposure would be harmful…’

by jummy84 August 27, 2025
written by jummy84

Kris Jenner may be 69, but she’s still running the Kardashian-Jenner empire with the same drive that launched the family’s widely successful dynasty nearly two decades ago. Fresh off her Vogue Arabia cover, chatter about her latest facelift nearly overshadowed her assiduous strategy that transformed her clan into one of the biggest OTT cash cows of the 21st century.

The Kardashians

When Keeping Up With the Kardashians debuted, Kris was 51, a mom of six, juggling family and business in Calabasas. She had no doubts about opening her family’s private lives to the cameras. “To be perfectly honest, I never thought the exposure would be harmful. I just thought this was going to be a great journey. ‘Buckle your seatbelts, we are in for a wild ride, but we are going to have the time of our lives,’” she recalled in her interview with Vogue.

Rooted in practicality and faith, her ambition knew no bounds. “We were working in our stores in Calabasas, and I thought this would be a great way to give exposure to our business, as it was like an instant focus group. This was an immediate marketing tool and something that could come in handy for other things. I knew this was not a gamble. I also prayed about it. I got on my knees and I said, ‘Please Lord, lead me in the right direction,’ and that’s what I still do everyday. I have great spirituality and I’m very confident about my decisions, but I also feel we were led in the right direction,” she said.

Looking back at the moment the show began, when Kourtney was 28, Kim was 27, Khloé was 23, Rob was 20, and Kendall and Kylie were just 10 and 9, Kris sees it as the start of something none of them could have predicted. “But looking back, I never even dreamt that I could’ve had this amazing career starting at 51. I feel really lucky that it happened the way it did, allowing us to do it as a family,” she reflected.

Of course, the show revealed more than most families would ever allow. But Jenner insists she has no regrets about how open they’ve been. “You know, we don’t have any regrets. I don’t live with regrets,” she said. “We have a global television show in 200 countries and so many languages. Our enormous fanbase is very emotionally invested in the family. At this point, they want to see what we are doing, and they will know everything, especially as we live in the age of the internet. There’s nothing off-limits.”

From boutique owners in Calabasas to one of the most famous families on the planet, it’s quite clear that Kris Jenner’s gamble continues to pay off.
