First Sight Media expands team with key creative and commercial appointments

by jummy84 December 13, 2025
written by jummy84

(L to R) Tyrone Herbst and Noel Hoey

Event production and streaming specialist, First Sight Media, has announced the appointment of two key personnel: Tyrone Herbst joins as senior video editor, while Noel Hoey takes up the role of client engagement manager, signalling a strategic move to bolster both the company’s creative output and its dedicated client support,

Bringing a decade of experience to the post, Herbst joins the team as senior video editor. Originally from South Africa, where he successfully ran his own video production company, Herbst moved to the UK two years ago. With a background that merges technical editing precision with digital marketing strategy, he specialises in visual storytelling for promotional and corporate projects. His arrival is timely as the company continues to evolve and  innovate its content creation offering for events and for wider promotional films.

Herbst’s journey to First Sight Media is one of industry symmetry. While working as a digital content manager for an aviation company, he discovered First Sight Media’s work via YouTube while researching content from Event Tech Live (ETL). Impressed by the company’s scope—spanning live streaming, creative production, and graduation ceremonies—he applied. Fittingly, his first on-site project for First Sight Media was filming at Event Tech Live 2025.

Herbst said, “It’s a bit of a full-circle moment for me. I actually discovered First Sight Media via their YouTube content while scouting for promos we could use. The company’s reputation for going beyond standard video production to deliver complex live streaming and creative content appealed to me immediately. Having run my own business, I understand the importance of merging creativity with commercial goals, and I’m excited to bring my experience in visual storytelling to a team that is so passionate about capturing every moment.”

Strengthening the commercial side of the business, Noel Hoey joins as client engagement manager. Hoey will act as the driving force behind building long-lasting client relationships, ensuring customers remain at the heart of the production process. His role focuses on understanding client challenges and vision, translating them into meaningful solutions across live production and streaming.

Hoey said: “For me, business is about genuine partnerships, not just transactions. My goal is to be out in the world, listening to our clients and shaping their long-term content strategies with clarity and creativity. Since joining, the atmosphere here has been unreal: warm, collaborative, and endlessly supportive. It’s clear that kindness and integrity filter down from the top, and that energy allows us to do great work. I’m looking forward to turning initial conversations into trusted, long-term relationships where clients feel confident that we are the partner to bring their ideas to life.”

Rich Belcher, managing director of First Sight Media, commented, “These are two vital appointments for First Sight Media as we continue to grow. For us, recruitment isn’t just about skills on paper; it’s about finding people who instinctively get our values and our personality. Tyrone and Noel are fantastic additions who are not only highly skilled in their respective fields but are also completely in tune with our ethos. Whether it is Tyrone’s technical storytelling or Noel’s dedication to client collaboration, they both embody the energy and professionalism that our clients expect from us.”

Mark Rhydderch-Roberts steps up from the position of Board Director to Co-Chair and Alan Wilkins becomes a new Board Director at the world-class events venue in South Wales.

Mr Rhydderch-Roberts, who spent 27 years as an Investment Banker, holding senior roles with a number of leading global investment banks, is also the Chair of Glamorgan County Cricket Club and led the recent successful sale of 50% of the Club’s holding in the Welsh Fire Hundred franchise to international investors.

Mr Wilkins is another appointment with strong Welsh cricket connections as a former Glamorgan seam bowler and the Club’s current President. Following retirement through injury, he has enjoyed an illustrious career as an international sports broadcaster, starting in cricket but going on to commentate and present on rugby, football, golf, tennis, motorsport and the Olympics for channels including BBC, ITV, Eurosport, ESPN and Fox Sports.

Glen Powell is missing Tom Cruise’s feedback on key new film element

by jummy84 November 11, 2025
written by jummy84

It’s well documented that Tom Cruise has acted as something of a mentor for Glen Powell after they starred together in Top Gun: Maverick back in 2022. But the Mission: Impossible star’s impact has never been quite so clear as in Edgar Wright’s new film The Running Man.

Powell takes on the lead role of Ben Richards – the character previously played by Arnold Schwarzenegger in the earlier 1987 film of the same name – and, as the title suggests, he gets plenty of opportunities to showcase some top-tier movie-star running.

Powell previously revealed that he had called up Cruise for some advice about running on camera and ended up having an over two-hour conversation with him that included some very helpful tips.

“He said, ‘You should film yourself running because you don’t look as cool as you think you do,” the Twisters and Anyone But You star told People. “He was so right!”

With than in mind, we were curious to find out if Powell had received any feedback on his on-screen sprinting now that Cruise has seen the movie, and so we put that question to the star when we spoke to him and Wright for an exclusive RadioTimes.com interview.

“You know what? Tom loved the movie, but I haven’t talked to him about my running form,” was his response. “I’ll get back to you on that one. I’m so desperate for his approval on the running!”

Read more:

“He’d be like in Strictly Ballroom at the end, you know like holding up the cards [with scores],” added Wright, making Powell chuckle.

Whatever he thinks about the running specifically, Cruise was clearly impressed with Powell’s performance and the film on the whole, with the Hollywood legend lavishing praise on the movie on social media after attending it’s London premiere last week.

“Another great night out with my friends at the movies!” he wrote. “You guys crushed it, congratulations! I laughed, was on the edge of my seat and ate way too much popcorn.”

The film is the second big-screen adaptation of Stephen King’s 1982 novel – which the prolific writer published under his pseudonym Richard Bachman – following the aforementioned Schwarzenegger version, although this one adopts a different tone and is far more faithful to the source material.
The Running Man is released in UK cinemas on Wednesday 12th November.

Dawn Richard Claims Diddy Tampered w/ Key Witness’ In Abu$e Lawsuit While Behind Bars: ‘Ongoing Fear’ Detailed In New Filing

Sean “P. Diddy” Combs may be behind bars, but Dawn Richard says the intimidation hasn’t let up.

In a recent court filing obtained by The Mirror US, Dawn alleges that Diddy tried to interfere with her lawsuit from prison. According to the documents, the mogul allegedly tampered with a key witness last September in an effort to further intimidate her. The filing reads, “Indeed, in September 2024, while incarcerated, Combs tampered with a key witness in Plaintiff’s case, validating Plaintiff’s ongoing fear and demonstrating his continued efforts to intimidate her and manipulate the narrative to discredit her claims.”

Her attorneys also highlight his alleged pattern of obstruction, stating, “Prosecutors opposed bail, citing his pattern of witness tampering, obstruction and regular use of violence, threats and coercion. The Court, in turn, denied bail four times, accepting the government’s position that Combs posed a continuing danger.”

As previously reported, Dawn has accused Diddy of physical abuse, groping, and emotional manipulation, claims she reiterated during his high-profile trial. She testified that both she and former Diddy-Dirty Money bandmate Kalenna Harper had been threatened to remain silent about the alleged attack they witnessed against Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.

Andy Muschietti, Chris Chalk, and More Talk Key Scenes (Exclusive)

What To Know

  • The cast and creators of It: Welcome to Derry break down key moments in the latest episode.
  • “Now You See It” features a major cameo, a flashback, and a trip to Pennywise’s lair.
  • Plus, the new Losers Club hatch a new plan to prove there’s something supernatural terrorizing the kids in town.

[Warning: The following post contains MAJOR spoilers for It: Welcome to Derry Episode 3, “Now You See It.”]

There’s a familiar face that ushers us all into the twisty world of It: Welcome to Derry‘s latest episode. Andy Muschietti, cocreator of the series, cameos as a carnival pianist in a flashback to a 1908 town fair.

Muschietti told TV Insider that he did so at the request of the episode’s director, Andrew Bernstein — “He twisted my arm into playing that role, and I begrudgingly did it,” he joked. (He also teased that fans will see him again in Episode 8.)

Also present for the scene is a kid version of Francis Shaw, who takes in the oddities before exchanging his slingshot for a bottle of water from a young Rose. The two become fast friends and play in the woods together before things take a dark turn; he goes too far and comes face to face with a one-eyed demon and has to use the slingshot to take out the creature’s other eye and escape.

They’re soon parted when Francis’ father is stationed elsewhere, and she gives him the slingshot back as a token of remembrance — even though she knows he’ll forget her once he leaves Derry. It takes 50 years, but remember, he does, and the very grown-up Francis (James Remar) and Rose (Kimberly Guerrero) have a very warm reunion at her store.

He’s there to ask for her help with his mission after finding a car from the Bradley Gang massacre with the help of Dick Hallorann (Chris Chalk), but he lies and says he wants her to help him avoid sacred lands in a military dig.

“That’s classified,” James Remar explained of Francis’ decision not to tell Rose the truth, even after their shared childhood experiences. “We’ve got to get it done, but it’s still a military secret. In my mind, it’s protective of her. I’m not going to say, ‘We’re looking for some entity, and we’re going to take over the world.’ It’s clandestine. It’s a military secret. And military secrets at that time, things that were highly classified, was just a matter of course. I mean, it was the Cold War, Strategic Air Command, Khrushchev, the Soviets. It wasn’t personal. I don’t feel like I was lying as such to my friend Rose.”

Thanks to that encounter, Rose convinces her fellow tribe members to take a wait-and-see approach about what Shaw and his team are doing, and they’re able to embark on a new mission — this time, with Leroy (Jovan Adepo) piloting a helicopter as Dick plays human compass with the slingshot providing him new insight into It. Dick goes into a trance and mentally visits Pennywise’s sewer lair, where his grandmother appears to tell him to leave, and It senses him as he almost jumps out of the back of the bird, with Leroy stopping him just in time.

HBO

Later, the two debrief after dinner with Charlotte (Taylour Paige), and Leroy says he knows Dick was there snooping around in his mind during the masked attack in his bunk. Dick says, based on what he saw, he wouldn’t ever want to cross Leroy again.

“I think when Dick looks into Leroy’s head, there’s a respect for what he has endured,” Chris Chalk told us about the scene. “But also there’s something nice about being seen, almost… Dick gets caught, and it’s like, ‘Oh, will you be my friend?’ It’s like, ‘I can tell you things now because, you know I can do things.’” Chalk added, “I think, for Dick, the first time, going, ‘Is this an ally? Is this person a person I might actually depend on?’ And then, as you watch the show, you find out if it happens or not, if they become allies or not.”

The other storyline of the episode is that of Lilly (Clara Stack), upon returning from Juniper Hill, committing to helping Ronnie (Amanda Christine) exonerate her father, Hank (Stephen Rider), whose alibi has now been contradicted. They decide that they need proof beyond Lilly’s account, so they work with Will (Blake Cameron James) and Rich (Arian S. Cartaya), after the latter says he knows of a ritual they can use in the graveyard.

Though his prayer for the dead was bogus, they were still greeted by the ghosts of Teddy, Phil, and Suzie as the cemetery began to erupt in an earthquake, as the kids tried to get away on their bikes while taking photos of the spirits on the way out. Once they developed the film, they saw that they’d captured the specters perfectly — along with a clown.

The Lions Founder Ali Kavoussi Reveals How to Make It as a Model and Why Confidence Is Key

by jummy84 October 30, 2025
written by jummy84

The world is your runway! And few people know better than Ali Kavoussi, founder of The Lions Management, the agency behind famous faces like Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Coco Rocha, Kate Upton, Stella Maxwell, Behati Prinsloo, and Amelia Gray Hamlin.

Now, the managing partner, known for discovering and nurturing rising stars, is telling ET exactly what it takes to land covers, book shows, and break into one of fashion’s most competitive industries.

While your walk and poses might already be strong, Kavoussi believes true success begins before you step in front of the camera.

Getty Images

“We start with personality, story, and style and build everything from there. … Every person we represent has a point of view and we make sure the world sees it. … It’s not just about beauty. It’s presence, authenticity, and curiosity.”

From there, dedication to the craft is everything.

“One of the most surprising things about modeling is how much hard work, discipline, and self-awareness it requires. … It’s about showing up on time, being professional, understanding your brand, and building real relationships.”

And through it all, believing in yourself is key.

“Watching a model that everyone once overlooked walk the biggest runway in the world never gets old,” the businessman notes.

“I always tell the girls to fake it till you make it. Even if you’re nervous, walk in like you belong in the room, because you do,” he adds.

Just as essential: Having the right team behind you.

BFA.com

“It’s all about alignment. … Modeling can be overwhelming. You’re traveling constantly and signing major deals. An agent becomes your anchor. They fight for you and help you make the right long-term choices,” he shares.

This includes finding ways to make supermodels triple threats through his innovative approach with clients, whether it’s at the 2025 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Brooklyn, New York, or in ALO’s Luxe Bag campaign.

“As we grow, my vision is to keep building a powerhouse that blends legacy names with the next generation of icons. … Seeing Amelia evolve into a creative force and Candice launch her brand are full circle moments,” Kavoussi says.

“My job is to protect individuality and make sure it translates from the runway, to a brand deal, to a single Instagram post. … We believe that a model can be an entrepreneur, a storyteller, and a brand,” he continues.

Of course, knowing your angles never hurts either.

“It’s an art form. The more you shoot, the better you get. … Study light and be patient with yourself. It’s a lot of trial and error. And never underestimate the value of a great photographer,” he spills.

Nuweb Group to expand North American operations with key hires in the US

by jummy84 October 29, 2025
written by jummy84

The American flag is unfurled during the All-Star Game national anthem at Petco Park.

Nuweb Group is growing its North American presence, adding new roles to support rising demand and an expanding client base across the region.

The UK-founded ticketing infrastructure company has evolved over the past five years into a recognised global partner to the live events industry.

In 2024, the company enabled ticket sales in more than 120 countries, with international markets now accounting for the lion’s share of its revenue.

Nuweb Group is planning further expansion in North America, with its technology already powering ticketing operations at major college sports stadiums and supporting high-profile partnerships across the continent.

The company’s footprint in the region continues to grow following a recent partnership with a Canadian based entertainment group that manages sixteen venues and produces more than 1,000 live events annually.

To support its growing demand, the company has announced a series of strategic hires, recruiting for several new positions including Business Development Representative, Account Executive, QA Developer and Software engineer.

These roles will support the company’s growing client base and strengthen its technical and commercial operations across North America. Each new hire will form part of the bedrock and become a pillar of the company’s expansion ambitions.

Ethan Dean, Marketing Manager at Nuweb Group, recently relocated from the company’s Manchester UK base to Toronto to establish the first foundation stone.

“We’ve operated globally for years, but that’s not always immediately visible,” Dean said. “We want to strengthen our presence on the ground in a way that reflects the scale and reach of our operations.”

Nuweb’s expansion signals the arrival of a new class of infrastructure companies – those that operate quietly beneath the surface but power the biggest stages on earth.

The company credits its rapid growth to a culture focused on speed, curiosity and collaboration. “We execute at blinding speed,” said Jose San Miguel, Managing Director at Nuweb Group. “We’re finding people are tired of working at organisations that move at a snail’s pace, and they absolutely thrive here.”

He added that the company’s remote-first model has been instrumental in attracting talent. “It’s allowed us to attract and work with top talent from anywhere – and let’s face it, nobody likes long commutes.”

Nurse Unlocks Car & Much More in Wild Master Key Win

by jummy84 October 28, 2025
written by jummy84

What To Know

  • Albert De Guzman, a nurse and actor from Texas, won all three major prizes—including a brand new SUV—on Friday’s The Price Is Right.
  • De Guzman correctly guessed the prices of two small items, earning two key choices, one of which unlocked travel bags, a trip to Philadelphia, and the SUV.
  • He celebrated his win on social media, expressing gratitude for fulfilling his dream of appearing on the iconic game show.

A Price is Right contestant found the key to happiness on Friday’s (October 24) episode when he walked away with not one, not two, but three massive prizes, including a brand new car.

The contestant in question was Albert De Guzman, a nurse and actor born and raised in the Philippines and currently residing in Wylie, Texas, who won his way off Contestant’s Row and made it up to the stage for a chance to leave with some big money prizes.

Host Drew Carey revealed De Guzman would be playing Master Key, a game in which the contestant is shown two small prizes, each with a three-digit number displayed. The contestant must guess the correct price of each item by deciding whether to remove the first digit or the last digit. Each correct answer earns a choice of one of five keys.

The keys correspond to three locks, which contain prizes. For De Guzman, he had a chance to leave with Travel Bags, a trip to Philadelphia, and a brand-new SUV, if he selected the correct keys. Even better, if he happened to pick the Master Key, he could end up with all three prizes.

That is exactly what happened as De Guzman correctly guessed the prices of a hot plate and a pair of bookends, allowing him to select two keys. Luck was on his side, as one of those picks turned out to be the Master Key, unlocking all three prizes.

After opening the Travel Bags, Carey suggested De Guzman try the SUV lock next, and, sure enough, the key fit. “Nice job, go get it,” Carey said as De Guzman ran across the stage to hug his new vehicle. The host then checked the final lock himself, revealing De Guzman also won the trip to Philly.

De Guzman, who had a small part in the Paramount+ series Lawmen: Bass Reeves, took to Facebook after his PIR episode aired to share his amazing experience with his followers.

“Thank you for the blessings! I GOT THE MASTER KEY! I won everything in my round – the best package showcase in this episode of The Price is Right! – the hybrid 2025 Hyundai SUV, a 6-night stay in a 5 star hotel including roundtrip airfare, 7 item-luggage, two electric bikes, bookends and oven,” he wrote. “Life is truly amazing!”

He added, “Thank you to all those who waited and watched the episode. Thank you to all of your messages of support thru text & FB messenger on my 1st U.S. game show appearance. May our dear Lord bless you more! The Price is Right is the world’s longest running TV game show! While growing up, it is one of my dreams to be in this show and it happened (after passing the interview and audition).”

What did you think of De Guzman’s big win? Let us know in the comments below.

Sarah Jessica Parker’s Bucket Bag is a Key Piece for Fall and Winter 2025

by jummy84 October 11, 2025
written by jummy84

Her bucket bag is pure functionality without sacrificing an ounce of style, maintaining its sleek design despite its large capacity. Her bag seems to make room for all the essentials (and more), from a wallet, a small planner, sunglasses, and makeup must-haves.

The bucket bag’s charm lies in its ability to adapt to any style without losing its character. In mini versions, it’s the most sophisticated accessory for a day-to-evening look, while it becomes the perfect ally for the office or a weekend away in medium or maxi sizes. Its slightly relaxed yet polished structure balances casualness with elegance, making it ideal for those looking for an accessory that works equally well with jeans and a trench coat as it does with a wool dress and knee-high boots.

As if that weren’t enough, this season the bucket bag is reinvented with details that update it without losing its classic DNA, such as braided ropes, metal closures, shiny finishes, and color combinations in earth tones, chocolate, and burgundy. Its chromatic versatility makes it a piece that transcends passing fads and establishes itself as a smart investment. Ultimately, the bucket bag represents the perfect balance between trend and timelessness and is the accessory that promises to accompany you for many more autumns.

Rishab Shetty’s 2-Year Kalaripayattu Training: The Key To His Authentic Warrior Performance In Kantara Chapter 1! | Glamsham.com

by jummy84 October 9, 2025
written by jummy84

Rishab Shetty is on top of the world after his new movie, Kantara Chapter 1, was creating a buzz since its release on October 2. As a prequel to the 2022 hit Kantara, the movie features Shetty once again in the lead role, this time as the writer and director as well, with critics hailing him for his stellar performance and bold narrative.

To get fully into the character of Berme, a warlike fighter from the village of Kantara at the time of the Kadamba dynasty in Karnataka, Shetty devoted two years to learning the ancient Indian art of Kalaripayattu. Under the tutelage of Vipindas Gurukkal at the hallowed Athma Kalari Village, his path was dotted with demanding discipline, injuries, and rigorous daily practice.

Athma Kalari posted behind-the-scenes looks at his training on Instagram, highlighting Shetty’s makeover. One of the viral shots is of him in mid-stretch in the midst of a brutal session, with the caption:
“Every bruise, every drop of sweat became pure art on screen. True dedication. True warrior spirit. Hats off, Rishab Shetty.”

Another piece of content celebrated his transformation:
“Not only an actor — a storyteller, a visionary. From the kalari mat to the silver screen, folklore comes alive through Rishab Shetty.”

Kantara Chapter 1 plunges into the depth of Karnataka’s rich cultural and spiritual heritage, touching upon themes such as tradition, identity, and conflict. Besides Shetty, the grand saga also features Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah in important roles.

With soul and heart invested in the movie, Kantara Chapter 1 is not only a film experience — it’s an ode to tradition, regimen, and storytelling in its purest form.
