Drama appears to be taking place off-screen as actress Taniya Mittal uttered some incredulous words against actress Ashnoor Kaur in a discussion with Zeishan Quadri, which ignited widespread backlash on social media. A video has emerged where Taniya can be overheard saying, “Aap iss chudail ke haath ka rice khaa rahe ho. Pehle din se pata tha woh chudail hai.”. Mujhe ghamand ki vibe aati hai.” The statement has raised eyebrows and sparked debate among fans and followers of both celebrities.

The clip, which surfaced on social media within a matter of minutes, features Taniya visibly slating Ashnoor as arrogant and threatening, thus implying that she feels threatened by her. Her instatement of the word “chudail” (witch) in addition to alleging that Ashnoor is proud or has a superior attitude towards others has not been well received among the audience.

Netizens were quick to react, with most standing up for Ashnoor. “Ye Taniya kitni insecure hai,” and “Ashnoor hai behen, kya hi jealousy hai Ash se ????????” were among the comments flooding sites such as X (formerly Twitter) and Instagram. Most fans branded Taniya’s comments as simple jealousy and insecurity, given Ashnoor’s history of professionalism and class in the industry.

Ashnoor Kaur, with her respectable image in the public eye and huge fan base, has not yet commented on the controversy. Still, fans keep going gaga over her and appreciate her for keeping quiet amidst the negativity.

And as for Zeishan Quadri, he has also kept quiet so far regarding the incident. Whether this exchange will grow more bitter or fizzle out is yet to be seen, but one thing is for certain: the internet is not happy with the words chosen by Taniya Mittal, and the backlash is only getting louder.

Sunny Leone talks about her AI-driven film Kaur vs Kore

Sunny Leone is set to embark on a pioneering venture, starring in a unique AI film. The film, titled Kaur vs KORE, will feature Sunny Leone in a dual role, playing both a human superhero and her AI-driven avatar, thus merging futuristic narrative with deep human emotions. Apart from its visual appeal, this project represents a significant step into the future of cinema, showing a cultural and technological evolution in the creation and consumption of stories.

 

The first digital poster of Kaur vs Kore was released in Mumbai today in an event that saw the entire team present. The film is a joint venture between Paparazzi Entertainment and Suncity Endeavours. Ajinkya Jadhav, the founder of Paparazzi Entertainment expressed his excitement and delight to have been part of this project and shared his insights on how judicious use of AI culminated into the making of this film. 

Daniel Weber, husband of Sunny Leone, who also owns Suncity Endeavours was also present at the event. He kept his statement brief and mentioned the importance of this project in establishing AI in the cinematic world and expressed his pride in Sunny being a part of it. 

 

The director of this film, Vinil Vasu also chimed in with his opinions. On being asked if introduction of AI is a threat to human creativity, he mentioned how smart use of it can result into many creative realms being explored in the area of filmmaking. 

 

Sunny Leone, who has a dual role in this film, said, “This was a project that was 8 years in the making. We had shot a promo envisioning this entire universe and created this trailer with the use of VFX and green screen. Me and Daniel met with Paparazzi Entertainment and presented this amazing idea to them and it was indeed a successful collaboration.” 

 

Expressing her excitement, Sunny said, “This project is literally our baby and we are excited to see this dream come true. This film is a proof that if you have genuine and heartfelt ideas, it will always bear fruits despite the journey being tough. We can’t wait for the world to finally see this.”  Kaur vs Kore is expected to be released by the end of 2025 or early 2026.

Irrfan Khan showcased his versatile self as Saajan Fernandes, and Nimrat Kaur brought heart and emotions as Ila Singh, highlighting the simple joys of human connection. Nimrat struck a balance of tenderness and strength by showcasing a character who yearns for emotional connection and escape from the mundane reality, and it worked with the audience!

Abou The Film

Written and directed by Ritesh Batra, The Lunchbox was released back in 2013, and it emerged as one of the most loved films for its heartfelt, subtle and touching themes about love, food, and friendship. The film made waves at international film festivals, including the 2013 Cannes Film Festival and Toronto International Film Festival, earning critical acclaim. Winning hearts even further, The Lunchbox was also nominated for Best Film Not in the English Language at the 2015 British Academy Film Awards.

Darasing Khurana, actor and Commonwealth Global Youth Ambassador, recently shared a heartfelt moment of nostalgia as two of his former co-stars, Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu and Simratt Kaur, prepare for the release of their new films — both hitting theatres on the same day.

The trio first came together in 2022 with the Punjabi action-comedy Bai Ji Kuttange, directed by Smeep Kang. The film marked a milestone for all three: it was Khurana’s acting debut after winning the title of Mr. India International, while Harnaaz Sandhu made her first on-screen appearance before going on to win the coveted Miss Universe 2021 crown. Simratt Kaur, already making a name for herself in the South Indian film industry, rounded out the ensemble cast alongside veterans Dev Kharoud, Upasana Singh, and Gurpreet Ghuggi.

Since then, their careers have taken different directions. Harnaaz is now debuting in the high-octane Bollywood film Bhaaghi-4, starring alongside Tiger Shroff and Sonam Bajwa. Simrat, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of The Bengal Files, a film that has been generating considerable anticipation, directed by Vivek Agnihotri.

Khurana took to Instagram to express his pride in seeing both women flourish, noting the unique coincidence of their films releasing on the same day. “It’s a moment of happiness and nostalgia,” he shared. “Having worked with both Harnaaz and Simrat early in their journeys, it’s incredible to now see them shine so brightly. I wish them both nothing but success and happiness as they take on this exciting new chapter, and may their hard work continue to inspire many.”

While Harnaaz and Simratt continue to captivate audiences on screen, Khurana himself has expanded his horizons beyond cinema. As the Commonwealth Global Youth Ambassador, he now works on international policymaking and advocacy, representing youth voices across nations.

This year, I’m legally an adult, and because Bigg Boss is the biggest reality show on Indian television, I thought if I’m entering the space of reality shows, I might as well start with the biggest one,” said Ashnoor.

On being asked about having an unfair advantage given her popularity as a child actor, she responded, “I really feel everyone coming to the game has something or the other on the outside that gives them the advantage, as everyone is deserving of this position. However, inside the house we are all equal contestants. I feel audiences are smart enough to differentiate between somebody’s outside public image and how someone actually contributes to the game.”
