Let’s please stop normalising this.”

With air-quality indices hitting the “severe” range in Delhi and “very poor” in Mumbai, Mira’s timing was hard to miss. She added: “Say no to crackers cannot be the poster you get your kids to make for Earth Day and then forget about it when Diwali comes along.
